OMG! Chapter 10!

The Underworld

While in the underworld Percy, Nico and Thalia came across a Hellhound. Obviously this was no problem as Nico, a son of hades, could just control it. Only problem was that Nico was currently passed out and Thalia was poisoned. No wonder the children of the big three were chosen. This was actually quite impossible. And that was saying a lot coming from the great Perseus Jackson.

He called Blackjack, one the most fearless Pegesus, and gave him explicit instructions to get Thalia and Nico out of here.

Percy then turned on the Hellhound and fought. The Hellhound was nothing like Mrs O'leroy, the tamed (well as tamed as a hellhound can be) beast who often had helped. Just when Percy was about to deliver the killing blow, he was knocked out by a club. The club was held by no-one other than one Luke.

For the next couple of days, Annabeth was in complete isolation. Not as a punishment but as a safety precaution. She was honestly a force to be reckoned with. She was violent and sassy (A/N yes channeling that Persassy). It almost seemed that she was childish and petty but remember a child of Athena always has a plan.

Only problem is when you plan for a current situation, unknown factors can ruin everything.

Annabeth was bored and had no idea why Luke wasn't taunting her. Her mind drifted and she was afraid that maybe Luke had Percy and was torturing him. She hadn't know Percy for very long but she knew he was honorable and a great warrior. Only one thing scared her about that.

When the warriors are training they are taught to give up their lives and become martyrs no matter what. She knew that if it came down to him saving her life,he would gladly give up his life and honestly Annabeth wasn't sure how she would live without her seaweed brain.

Annabeth had counted exactly a week before she saw Luke again.

"Good Morning," Luke said happily and sat down by Annabeth. Annabeth glared. What was he doing? She hates him. Why would he act like everything's alright?

"Before you say anything, and yes i can hear those little gears in your head turning, I just want to tell you" Luke grinned. "I caught him. You know, I found him. Your precious little beast and yes, I'll send him your regards or better yet I'll just take you to him."

Annabeth played dumb. "Who?"

Luke smiled dreamily. "You sound like an owl when you do that. You know who."

"Nope, I got no clue."

"Well that's a shame." he said sadly. Annabeth gave him a questioning look. "It's a shame that you actually tried to lie to me and that I really want to believe it. Luke stared deep into her eyes and muttered an ancient Greek spell, making Annabeth fall into deep slumber that will only be waken when in pain.

When Percy regained conscienceness, he noticed he was bound. His legs were tied together and his arms were tied to a pole. He almost laughed at the ridiculousness of this but he saw him.

Luke.

It was no surprise to Percy that Luke did this. What Percy did not expect and did not understand was why Rachel was by his side, holding his hand.

"Rachel?"

Rachel turned towards him. "Yes Perseus."

Percy flinched. "Its Percy."

Luke grinned like manic. "Wow. Its true. They are in love."

Rachel pouted. "I know. I wanted to save him but no a daughter of the one that cursed him fixes him. Like isn't that ironic lukey." Rachel runs her hand over Luke's chest and Percy shuddered. He knew something was wrong with Rachel and Luke but he never knew they would be this...evil.

Percy looked around him noticing Annabeth. He jerked and moved trying to get free and help her but he can't.

"Let go of her."

Luke smiled. "Such a hero. You know, Percy. That stupid prophecy is actually quite stupid. I mean if someone was to strike a bargain with let's say Kronos and add in a clause where the recipient can't repeat the words. Its probably going to end in banishment and you know... Resentment." He licked his lips. "How did it go again? Oh yeah. A daughter of an enemy shall fall Into the grasps of despair;
Heal what cannot be broken,And unwind the unbreakable. So stupid. Its obviously about you but I had no idea it was about Annabeth. "Luke looked in her direction and spoke so softly percy could hardly hear him. "My dearest friend. She was so…good. And then she fell in love with you. When I rule the world, she was supposed to be my queen but she only has eyes for that thing." His voice got louder and louder and he shook with anger. Luke looked at Rachel and nodded.

Rachel kicked Annabeth in the stomach and Annabeth shot upright, clutching her stomach and trying to breathe.

"Rise and Shine, Sleeping beauty." Rachel sneered. Annabeth gritted her teeth.

"Rachel," Luke said kindly. "Let's get one with it."

Rachel smiled. "Yep. Up you go Percy."

The giants pushed Percy to his feet and shoved him forward.

"Bow to me," Luke said. "Swear your allegiance to me... Or die."

Percy spat at Luke. "No. I'd rather die an honorable warrior that bow to you and work against the gods."

"That's a shame since they did abandon you."

"They did no such thing. I have failed and I…understand.

Luke glared and clicked his fingers. The giants grabbed Percy and threw him into the river styx.
