Hey everyone, I know it's been a long time but I thought I'd better write at least one more chapter. So, ducky32, this is for you! Hope you enjoy!

Her last appointment for the day was at four, a young guy named Jake. Vicki was glad that he was on time for his meeting since Henry was getting a little fidgety being stuck in her office all day. Coreen showed the young man in.
"Ms. Nelson?" He asked.
"Yes, nice to meet you…? She said, trailing off.
"Oh. Jake Williams, nice to meet you too." He supplied.
Vicki smiled back. "What can I do for you Mr. Williams?"
"Jake, please. What I need is someone to help look for my girlfriend, Sarah." He told her.
"How long has she been missing?" Vicki asked. "The cops can look for a missing person after three days."
Jake shook his head. "They won't look for her cause her parents say she's fine."
Vicki narrowed her eyes. "And what makes you say different?"
"Sarah left about two weeks ago, but she came back two days after she left. I was so excited to see her, asked her where she was and if she was back for good. She told me no, that she'd found her true calling in Master Eli's teachings and had just come back for some clothes and things. And before you ask, I have no idea who this Master Eli is or what his teachings involve. Is there any way you can find her?" Jake explained.
"Well…" Vicki began just as her cell phone started ringing. She slid it out of her pocket, saw that it was Henry calling, excused herself and answered.
"What?"
"Vicki, I can track her if you get me a piece of her clothing, something she wore a lot." Henry told her.
"Okay." Vicki answered, and heard him hang up. She wondered briefly why he hadn't just come and asked for the clothing himself, before she realized that might be a little suspicious.
"Alright Jake," she said, turning back to him. "I can try to track her down if you have something of hers that she wore a lot. Do you?"
Jake nodded. "Yeah, absolutely. I can run home and bring it back to you."
"That would be perfect."
And with that Jake excused himself to go home and bring Vicki back a piece of Sarah's clothing. She hoped Henry was right about being able to find the girl. Just then, the headache that preceded her new psychic power began. Vicki sighed as she sat down behind her desk and started massaging her temples. This time, Vicki saw who she assumed was Sarah in a large meeting room with lots of other people listening to a short man with blonde hair shout about the group's divine rights.
'Great,' Vicki thought, coming out of the vision. 'She's joined a cult.'
While waiting for Jake to return, Vicki figured she might as well go tell Henry what she'd seen.
While letting Vicki explain her vision, Henry listened carefully. When she was done, he nodded.
"Yep, I think you're right." He told her, "She's joined a cult."
Just then, Coreen returned with Jake in tow.
"This is Sarah's favorite scarf, she used to wear it all the time." Jake said, handing Vicki a dark green scarf.
Glancing at Henry, who nodded, Vicki assured Jake, "This will be fine, thank you."
"No problem." He answered, turning to walk back out. When he was gone, Henry took the scarf, breathing in Sarah's scent.
"I can find her with this." He affirmed.
And they set out to find her the next day. Personally, Vicki loved the fact that Henry could now safely venture outside during the day, it made investigating things much easier. Henry followed Sarah's scent outside the city, to a formerly abandoned estate now teeming with life. They stood in the shadow of an oak tree, watching the abundant young women stream out of what Vicki supposed was their meeting barn.
Henry leaned over and muttered, "Sure are a lot of young girls here."
Vicki frowned, nodding. "Yeah."
When the emergence of people from the barn had stopped, Henry asked, "Well, do you want to go see what we can find?"
With a shrug, Vicki said, "Sure."
Taking Vicki's hand, Henry led her through a field, towards the barn. They didn't bother knocking, just walked in, only to find that the barn wasn't empty yet. There were two young women cleaning, and a man with blonde hair setting up what looked like an altar.
"Hey, what are you two doing in here?" Barked the blonde-haired guy.
Vicki did her best to sound like a blonde bimbo.
"Um, me and my boyfriend heard about you and decided to come check it out."
"Ah." The blonde-haired man said, nodding. "Who referred you?" He asked.
"A girl named Sarah." Vicki told him
The blonde-haired man smiled. "Good for her. Would you like a tour, then?"
"Yes, please." Henry beamed, joining Vicki in sounding a lot dumber than he looked.
An hour later, the blonde man, who was, in fact, Master Eli, was just finishing his tour and talking up his cult, the Children of God.
"We noticed there are a lot of young girls here." Henry asserted.
Master Eli nodded. "Yes. The girls help us enlist new members, as Sarah did for you."
"Could we see her and tell her we came? Vicki wondered.
"Of course. She will be in her rooms upstairs in the house." He told them, escorting them to the main building. Henry and Vicki slipped inside, following Master Eli's directions to Sarah's rooms. When she answered the door, Vicki quickly told her who they were and that they were sent by Jake.
"Oh, thank goodness. I tried to get back out, but once you're in they won't let you leave." Sarah explained.
"Don't worry," Vicki said, shaking her head. "That's why we're here."
Henry was already studying the outlook from Sarah's second floor window. Beneath it were gravel beds, an unpleasant drop for a human, but nothing for a vampire.
"Vicki," Henry began, turning towards her. "This way."
Vicki nodded, pulling Sarah towards Henry and the window.
"You can't jump from here." Sarah told him disbelievingly.
Henry only smiled. "You wanna bet?"
Vicki slid the window open as Henry wrapped his arms around Sarah and then jumped out the window. Sarah was a little startled when she found them on the ground, in one piece. Inside, Vicki closed the window and then left, retracing her steps down the stairs and outside. They all three hurried back across the field, sticking close to the line of trees. Sarah was relieved when she saw their car parked just off the road.
Henry drove them back into the city, to Vicki's office. Once they were all three safely inside, Sarah finally broke down crying. Henry and Vicki waited for her to finish crying and dry her eyes, before Vicki asked, "Ok Sarah, what happened?"
Still sniffing she answered, "I met a couple of girls at a local bar I sometimes go to while waiting for Jake to get off work. They started talking to me and telling me all about this compound where they lived. Everyone helped with all the chores and their leader, Eli, was so wonderful. I agreed to stop by and check it out sometime. And you know from tonight that Eli gives a great pitch. But it wasn't until I was already there that he told me the Children of God's real beliefs. And like I told you, once you're in they won't let you leave. My second day there they sent me with some other girls to another club where they were working as prostitutes to lure new members into the group. The youngest was a girl named Chelsie who was only fifteen and set to marry Michael, a longtime member of the group who was pushing sixty. I was shocked and asked Chelsie if that was what she wanted. She told me yes, it was such an honor to be chosen for him to be able to fulfill his divine right."
"Divine right?" Vicki echoed, confused.
Sarah nodded. "Ah-huh, the Children of God believe that sex with children is not only okay, but it is their divine right. That's why there are so many young girls there, they are either married to older members or set to be."
"You're kidding." Vicki burst out.
Sarah shook her head. "No. Thank you so much for getting me out, Brother Ethan was beginning to look longingly in my direction."
"Our pleasure. Do you want us to call Jake and have him come pick you up?" Vicki asked.
"Yes, please." Sarah answered, nodding.
Jake was at Vicki's office in about fifteen minutes. As soon as Sarah saw him, she began crying all over again. Jake thanked her profusely, and Vicki said goodnight, collapsing against the closed door.
"Can you believe that?" Vicki asked Henry.
"Which part?" Henry asked. "The having your young adherents work as prostitutes or the having sex with children part?"
"Both. I thought I'd seen some weird stuff on the force, but that's disgusting."
"It's a fake religion by men for men." Henry told her.
"I guess this is what Olivia meant by being part of the fight between good and evil. I just wish we'd had a bigger impact."
Henry shrugged. "You never know. I may have sent a message to Detective Celluci about the case and the strange place we found Sarah. Hopefully the Children of God find the Toronto Police Service suddenly very interested in what they do with all those young girls."
Vicki smiled, moving closer to wind her arms around his neck. "Have I ever mentioned that you are the best?" She asked.
"Not so far today." Henry told her.
"Well, you are definitely the best and I love you." Vicki said.
Henry wound his own arms around Vicki. "I love you too." He whispered before claiming her lips.
Well, what did you guys think. Would really love some reviews to let me know!
