Fading from the depths of the forgotten, there lies two heroes, a purple haired genie and her limbless friend. Forgotten because… the author hasn't uploaded in forever. Actually, it has been a year since they have been trapped in this void, now… they had enough, their plea has been answered, they are coming back!

As Shantae and Rayman enter the final door where Razorbeard has been waiting for them, they find themselves in an arena like room. "So, you finally made it here, you scurvy dogs!"

From what Shantae and Rayman could tell, Razorbeard has hidden inside a giant mechanic monstrosity of destruction, "Rayman… do you recognize this beauty?" He rubs the giant piece of technology as he says this.

Rayman gasps in awe, "The, the Grolgoth!" He stares at the size of the big thing.

Shantae looks over at it as well, "That's what he used against you with?! Well, it does look like a final resort type of machine."

Admiral Razorbeard shouts, slamming his fists down, "Silence! Now… time for some vengeance long overdue!" He rubs his hands together and then flips switches to make the gargantuan robot charge at the two, very slowly.

Rayman then looks over at Shantae, "So… I'm still an undead, how about we take care of this metal punk in my afterlife?"

Shantae nods, agreeing with Rayman's suggestion, "Sounds like a plan!" She then dances to transform, turning herself into an elephant, "I'll try to knock this thing over and then you can make your attack on it."

Rayman nods back, "All right." He jumps on Elephant Shantae's back and they get ready to begin brawling Admiral Razorbeard in his Grolgoth.

All around the battle arena, roars of cheers emanate the battlefield. Roars of cheers from the Rabbids and the robopirates, each cheering a side on as it can clearly depict from the flags and banners of Rayman and Shantae on the Rabbids' side and Admiral Razorbeard on the robopirates' side.

As Admiral Razorbeard tries stomping Shantae and Rayman, she dodges away from the stomps with her elephant charge, it seems that Shantae can't find a spot to hit Razorbeard at.

Rayman assists Shantae by looking over at any weak spots on the Grolgoth. His foggy memory from the last time he fought this isn't helping, it's been years since he fought him. "Err… how about… oh!" He jumps off of Shantae and then runs at a spot and calls out, "Hey! Captain Razorbeard, I'm over here!"

Razorbeard scowls and shouts out angrily, "That's Admiral Razorbeard! Get your ranks right, barnacle head!"

Rayman then pulls the sides of his mouth with his hands and wiggles his tongue at him, making a gargling noise doing so, pulling off his iconic grimace move; a surefire taunt.

Razorbeard charges at Rayman, stomping him with the Grolgoth. Rayman sidesteps out of the way with some side rolls and some forward rolls as Razorbeard tries to squash him. The Rabbids go ballistic with the cheering for Rayman, actually forgetting their differences for a change as they grow fond of the thing-a-ma-jig.

Shantae tries her best to go after Razorbeard, "I'm coming, Rayman!"

Rayman keeps dodging the stomps as they go faster and faster, "Hurry up, Shantae!" And… splat! Now, the robopirates cheer for their admiral getting the little pest that caused them trouble.

Admiral Razorbeard laughs, "Yar har har! I finally got you!" He grinds the ground with the machine, making sure Rayman dies.

Shantae suddenly gets a burst of anger in her elephant form and she charges at the leg and a fiery charge, "You'll pay, Razorbeard!" Knocking the thing over!

Razorbeard didn't account that Shantae would get this angry but this only makes him angry, "Grr, stupid piece of junk!" He slams at the controls.

Something then happens at the top of the Grolgoth as its upside down, "Huh?" Razorbeard looks up as the top gets pounded, and… Rayman shows up in his control room. "Y-you! How did you survive?! I keelhauled yer sorry butt!"

Rayman laughs, "Thank the undead powers for that, I buried myself as soon as you stomped me. Now… I'll stomp you!" He swings a fist around aiming at the pirate himself.

A lots of punching noises ensue and Shantae and the other watch, they actually get a front seat seeing Rayman beat the tar out of Razorbeard, he then punches him out of the Grolgoth, "Grr! You'll pay for that one!" Razorbeard shouts out angrily, shaking a fist at Rayman.

Rayman presses a button and now he's in control of the Grolgoth, "Will I?" He raises an eyebrow as he then charges after Razorbeard.

Razorbeard gulps, "Um… I need to go feed my piranhas! Retreat!" He then runs off and the other robopirates flees as well.

Rayman frowns as he is disappointed, "Aw… I wanted those guys to go after me as I stomp them to submission with this baby."

Shantae returns to normal and she smile, "Yeah, that would be a sight. Wow, Rayman, you are definitely full of surprises. I had no idea you could master a zombie's skill that quick."

"I know, right?! I was surprised, too!" It was Rottytops as she panics Shantae and she turns around.

Shantae scolds her, "Don't sneak up on me like that!"

Rottytops laughs, "Sorry, snack cakes! Hey, Rayman, that's a good look for you, are you going to stay that way forever and become one of us? We could certainly use you!"

Rayman shakes his head, "No thank you, I just wish this wears off eventually. This is the longest powerup I ever gotten." Looking at his torn gloves.

Rottytops laughs, "Powerup? What do you think this is, a video game?" She then changes the conversation, "Jokes aside, did you find the special thing?"

Rayman suddenly remembers, "Oh yeah… err, one second." He searches behind the chair inside of the Grolgoth and he looks through the pile of junk Razorbeard has. "This?" He pulls out the only worthwhile object in there.

Rottytops jumps up and down in joy, pointing at it, "Yes! That's it!"

Shantae looks at Rottytops confused, "It's just a coffeemaker! Why is that so special?"

Rottytops replies to Shantae, "It's special because it's a deluxe coffeemaker! The top of the line kind! We would definitely love that!"

Rayman shrugs and gets out of the Grolgoth and hands it over to Rottytops, "Here you go."

Rottytops accepts it and thanks Rayman, "Much appreciated, Rotman!" Giving Rayman a nickname from his look, she then gives Rayman a pitcher of coffee, "Here, maybe this will help."

Rayman takes the pitcher, looking at it strangely and then drinks it all, he then hiccups, giving the pitcher back to Rottytops, and covers his mouth. Rayman begins stretching and bending until suddenly, "I'm normal again! Yahoo!" Rayman jumps with a fist in the air as he now back to his alive self again.

Rottytops grins looking at that and comments, "Wow! This must be really good coffee if it can revive the dead back to their former self. I wonder if it'll work for me. Well… catch you guys later!" She then leaves the dungeon.

Shantae then looks at Rayman saying, "Well, with that, we should get out if here, too."

Rayman nods and the two take their leave from the big spooky tree. They arrive back at the entrance, Shantae turns to Rayman asking, "So, where should we go next?"

Rayman replies to her giving her his suggestion, "Well, the most likely place would be-" He then looks up and sees the Grolgoth coming out of the spooky tree, piloted by the Rabbids, "Erm, should we be worried about that?" He points to the Rabbid piloted Grolgoth.

Shantae sweatdrops and replies with an eyebrow raised, "It should be fine? I mean, the Rabbids are good, right?"

Rayman shrugs, "Perhaps. Anyway, I think we should go see that friend of yours now."

Shantae asks Rayman, "Sky? Well, sure but she's at Oasis Town, way off at the desert where that… ugh, Ammo Baron is at!" She scowls as she says that name.

Rayman asks with a tilt of his head, "Ammo Baron? Is he bad?"

Shantae nods and replies to Rayman with a serious look, "He took over Scuttle Town for a while and turned it into his Ammo Town. He also rebuilt nursing homes into one of his ammo baron training academy facility places."

Rayman frowns as he hears this and replies, "That's horrible! But, glad that has been resolved thanks to you. Let's go see Sky now, she'll help us get on the right track!"

Shantae gives her limbless friend a nod and they head off to Oasis Town. They walk themselves back to Scuttle Town where the desert is nearby at, a good idea just in case they need to restock on items or more truthfully, actually get some now.

The long trek back has finally ended as they arrive back in Scuttle Town, why they didn't just fly is beyond me but perhaps it's for the best, they could bond even more as they talk while walking back. They are pretty alike now they think about it, they are both heroes, have archenemies and more noticably, they both have magical hair.

Shantae speaks to Rayman as they make it back to Scuttle Town, "Well, we're back. Should we stock up on items while we're here?"

Rayman gives Shantae a nod and says to her, "You wanna go get them while I stand here? I want to get my bearings right while I'm here."

Shantae nods, "Alright." Not entirely sure why he needs to do that but agrees with him anyway.

Rayman looks around seeing the paths ahead of them and inhales through his teeth, "Yep, I recognize that desert! That's where I first came to this place. Those sirens are going to be pesky going through there. We'll definitely be needing those items." He looks up at the clouds and frowns, "I just hope Globox and the others are ok. Who knows if there's some trouble brewing back home when I'm not there."

Shantae runs back with the items she bought, "Alrighty! We should be ret-2… huh? What's the matter, Rayman?" She looks at him and notices his troubled look.

Rayman looks at her, not realized that she returned and says, "I'm fine, why?"

Shantae replies, not buying that, "You don't look fine. What's troubling you?"

Rayman looks down, frowning, "My friends back home. I just hope that they're getting around fine without me. Even my buddy, Globox. He would be lost without me."

Shantae tries to comfort him, "I'm sure they'll be fine. You just gotta keep going for them and you'll make it back home in no time. Now, let's go to Oasis Town so you'll get yourself home."

Rayman gives Shantae a determined nod, "You're right! And we can take care of those sirens together!"

Shantae then corrects Rayman, "Those are nagas and yeah, they're pretty nasty."

Rayman brings a fist on the air, "Let's go!" Being as ecstatic as ever.

With that, the two heroes set off for their next destination. Will they be able to get through the desert in one piece and will Ammo Baron interfere with their journey? Find out next time!

Rose Verdict: Razorbeard isn't really going to appear all that much unless I change my mind. I was going to have him team up with Risky but he's too stubborn to join allies with someone that took his stuff. He's just for this segment and I have no clue if I really will bring him back. Only time will tell.
