It was the next morning of the Beach study sessions and it seemed like today would be the day in which Rom and Ram would be picked up by their caretaker Mina since the students will be training today and Blanc didn't want to leave Rom or Ram alone.
They waved goodbye to both Blanc and Naruto who had decided to come and send them off at the girl's request.
But before they boarded the car they asked if Naruto would visit them with Nepgear so that they could play and Naruto agreed.
On the way back to the inn Blanc asked Naruto. "So Naruto what you said to Rom and Ram was it true? Will you really come and visit during the break?"
"Sure I mean why not it would be nice to see what you've got at your place." Blanc blushed and nodded as the two of them ran back to the inn for breakfast and, since Compa-sensei was cooking again, they did not want to miss that.
[At the Inn]
Everyone was seated as the food was passed out.
"Itadakimasu!" After saying that everyone dug into their meals.
"So um Laura I wanted to ask, you come from Germany right?" Laura nodded her head as she fed Naruto food from her lunch-box and just like before Naruto ate like they were a loving couple making the other girls around Naruto jealous. "So how come you know how to use chopsticks?"
"Well my commander taught me how to use them. She is very proficient in things about the Japanese culture."
"Well I'd hate to ask but was she the one who taught you about Japanese customs?" Laura nodded making Naruto hang his head down.
"Man she has messed up greatly..." Naruto leaned over and whispered into Laura's ear. "Listen if you want to I can give you some lessons on actual Japanese culture. How's that sound?"
"It's alright I-I like what we're doing right now." Laura blushed and looked away making Naruto chuckle.
"Anyways Naruto-kun what do you think we'll be doing today for training?" Nepgear asked.
"I don't know maybe some speed runs or evasions courses knowing IF-sensei." Uni and everyone else sighed tiredly.
"Is it really that bad?" Laura's asked.
"Well no, I mean it's not that bad it's just tiring."
[After breakfast]
Class 1 and class 2 were about to split into their respective classes when the teachers stopped everyone.
"Alright everyone just stop!" Orimura-sensei's strong voice instantly caught the student's attention. "Now students who have personal IS units please follow me whereas everyone else please follow IF-sensei."
Naruto, Nepgear, Uni and Blanc were surprised by this and the girls were kinda excited to be trained by the great Chifuyu Orimura.
Orimura-sensei led he entire group down to the cliffs and they waited for something to happen. Orimura-sensei then raised her hand and slowly counted down. "3-2-1 and..."
"Chi-chan!" From the forest behind them a wine coloured blur came running out and jumped into the air her hands made a mix of groping actions and hugging actions.
Naruto dove out of the way to avoid being run over by the hyperactive person.
"Ah Chi-chan it's been so long since I've seen you!" The lady tried to get to Orimura-sensei but Orimura-sensei had her hand up stopping the lady. "C'mon please let me give you a big hug!"
'Oh my it's like Ram on a sugar high...' Thought Blanc.
Orimura-sensei growing irritated by the actions of the lady brought her attendance book up and bonked the lady on the head, making said lady childishly rub her head to soothe the pain.
"Tabane behave yourself." Chifuyu commanded.
"Ow Chi-chan is so mean."
"Wait." Naruto mentioned. "You said Tabane as in the Tabane Shinonono? The creator of IS?"
"Bingo I'm the great Tabane Shinonono!" She happily declared leaving most of the students in a daze, and then she turned and started to search among the rocks for something.
Tabane finally perked up and sneaked over to a pile of rocks. "Hey there Houki-chan!"
"Ah hello Nee-san..." Houki replied nervously and picked herself up from her hiding spot.
Naruto broke out of his daze and looked over to Ichika who didn't seemed faze by the appearance of Tabane so he went over to ask. "Hey Ichika how come you don't seem fazed by the fact that we just met Tabane Shinonono?"
"Oh that's because she was friends with Nee-san back when they were children."
"What?!" Naruto reached up and grabbed Ichika's shoulder. "Hey Ichika we're friends right so why didn't you tell me you knew Tabane?"
"Um well it's because you never asked." Ichika replied getting a face plant from Naruto in return.
Back with Houki however she had just used her palm to stop Tabane from getting closer to her since Tabane's intentions seemed less than honest.
"C'mon Houki-chan just let Onee-san hug you! It's been so long since I've seen you c'mon c'mon Houki-chan!" Tabane struggled against Houki's palm but everyone could see the tick mark on Houki's growing bigger and bigger the longer Tabane talked.
Things finally stopped when Tabane said she wanted to grope Houki, and from nowhere Houki suddenly pulled out a shinai and bonked Tabane on the head.
"That's enough Nee-san!" Houki yelled out in a firm voice.
In Naruto's mind he thought about their relationship and it seemed so similar to the one that Nepgear had with Neptune in that Nepgear acted like the older sibling yet she is the youngest one while Neptune acted far more childish than Nepgear ever did...for the most part.
[With Neptune]
She suddenly crumpled over making everyone worried.
"Oi Neptune don't play around like that!"
"What's wrong Neptune?"
"Ah Nep-chan is hurt!"
"My-my Onee-chan status just felt like it took a critical hit..." Neptune answered getting face palms from both Vert and Noire while Plutia just comforted Neptune.
[Back with Naruto and gang]
Tabane had finally calmed down which was when Chifuyu came up and spoke to her in that authoritative tone that she always used. "Well anyways Tabane what are you doing here?"
"Oh me I'm here to deliver Houki-chan's IS in person..." Chifuyu waited for Tabane to continue even though she didn't want to. "And to see Ikk-kun, Chi-chan and Houki-chan, it's been so long and you don't call."
Tabane ended her line with a little childish pout that made Houki face palm herself in embarrassment while Chifuyu could only sigh.
"Fine you can stay for the rest of the study session but you will be bunking with me alright Tabane?" Tabane nodded and nearly leapt into Chifuyu's arms and would have succeeded had Chifuyu not bonked her head with her thick binder.
"Ow..." Tabane cried as she tried to soothe her growing bump. "Um anyways I present Houki-chan's IS"
Tabane drew out a remote with a single button and pressed it, from the sky above an object that had a gem like structure dropped but before it hit the ground it stopped and hovered there for a moment before dissipating into shards of light to reveal a red IS.
"Presenting the world's first 4th generation IS Houki-chan's Akatsubaki!" Houki's face lit up with a smile as she walked up to it and touched it.
"Heh it's my IS" Chuckled Houki in a quiet tone.
At the same time both Naruto and Nepgear inwardly cursed they wanted their combined companies to be the first one to release the next generation of IS but it looks like Tabane managed to one up the world once more.
But inwardly Nepgear thought that maybe she had managed to do something which was allow an IS to fuse with external parts to become a far more powerful IS and while the system originally had plenty of bugs it had been ironed out and now it was able to be used without causing the pilot a grievous injury.
"Come on Houki-chan come and try it out!" Tabane Suggested pushing Houki forward with her words while she set up multiple terminals to get the test information from the Akatsubaki.
Houki nodded and stepped into her Akatsubaki, checking over everything she got the all clear from Chifuyu.
"Akatsubaki. Taking off!" The Akatsubaki launched itself into the air without any resistance and there was no blow back effect on the ground.
"Alright Houki show us what you're IS can do." Orimura-sensei replied through the headset.
"Alright!" In an instant Akatsubaki shot off into the air doing tricks and overall its performance was far better than any IS they had seen so far.
"OK Houki-chan now try out the new addition to the 4th generation of IS units." Behind Tabane materialized a military grade aircraft ground to air missile launcher.
"Fire!" Commanded Tabane as the missile launcher fired its full salvo which consisted of eight missiles that would have torn the best aircraft the world was using at the moment in a second of impact.
Houki saw the missiles coming and activated her fold out armour before summoning forth her weapons which consisted of two Katana's aptly named Amatsuki (Rainy Moon) for her right hand weapon and Karaware (Cracked Sky) for her left handed weapon.
Using Amatsuki Houki destroyed four missile with multiple red coloured beams and swinging Karaware about it shot forth a crescent moon that destroyed the remaining four missile.
"Alright that's good enough Shinonono take it back down." Houki nodded and returned to the ground where she excitedly cheered that she finally got her own IS and Ichika was happy for her while Cecilia and Rin could not look any less pleased that their rival was now supposedly stronger than them.
"So now that that's done let's get some real training done everyone transform into your IS units!" In a large flash everyone transformed. Cecilia in Blue Tears carrying her sniper rifle, Ichika in Byakushiki and Yukihiria Nigata, Charlotte in her Rafale-Revive Custom II, Laura in the Schwarzer Regen, Rin in Shen Long with her two swords, Uni, Nepgear and Blanc in their respective IS units carrying their respective weapons and last but not least was Naruto in the Lancelot with his VARIS rifle in hand.
"Wait!" Tabane yelled out getting everyone's attention before they could take off. "I want to ask a favour of Namikaze-san and Nepgear-san."
"What is it Tabane-san?"
"Could the Lancelot fuse with his parts so that I could see it in person?" Naruto saw no problem with that and neither did Nepgear.
"Alright then-" Lancelot jumped into the air.
"Program drive!" The four G-parts appeared and the G-Phantom caught Lancelot. "Final Fusion!"
Jumping once more into the air the G-Phantom released the two containers that flew and attached themselves over the Lancelot's arms.
The G-Liner released its rockets and split itself in half, each half attached itself to the shoulders of the Lancelot.
Before finally the G-Phantom came in and attached itself to the back of the Lancelot, sliding the armour and new helmet in place.
Once everything was set the eyes lit up green and the sand around them was pushed back as the GaoFighGar landed and punched its fists together producing sparks. "GaoFighGar!"
"Wow I have never seen someone do that with an IS before." Tabane commented. "Good job Nepgear."
Nepgear blushed and looked away. "Oh Tabane-san please don't say something like that you're going to make me blush."
[Hours Later]
Inside the hot spring Naruto thought that he had a moment of peace but it was all broken when Nepgear, Uni, Blanc and Laura came into the hot-spring apparently when Naruto entered the hot-spring he completely missed the fact that now was mixed bath time and it just so happened that the girls saw Naruto step inside.
So Naruto had his back against the door when suddenly the girls jumped on his back surprising him.
"Hey what are all of you doing here?!" Naruto asked though it was more of a yell as he made sure to cover his bottom. "This is the guys section of the hot-spring!"
"Actually Naruto now is mixed bath time so please turn around so that I can massage your back." Laura replied holding up the towel that she was used.
"Hey who said you could do that?" The other three girls asked.
"I was told that married couples do that."
Naruto could feel a little headache starting to form so he suggested that each girl help massage his back.
The girls seemed happy with this and so they each took turns rubbing his back eventually it was Nepgear's turn and she remembered back in the day when they were still kids and could bathe together those were good times.
When they were done they made their way back to the inn and were now resting doing their own personal things, Blanc, Uni, Nepgear, Laura and Naruto were in the game room playing table tennis and relaxing since they had just come out of the hot springs right after Chifuyu's training session ended.
Naruto had just won another game when suddenly there was Chifuyu's voice coming from a loudspeaker. "Will all students with personal IS units please report to the main house? All other students are not to leave the inn at this time."
Naruto and gang wondered what it could be as it was late at night and Chifuyu sounded rather serious, so picking themselves up Naruto and the gang quickly made their way towards the main building.
Upon stepping into the main building Naruto saw Ichika, Cecilia, Charlotte, Rin and Houki each of them were also wondering what was going on. As for the main building it had been turned into what could be called a C.I.C (Combat Information Centre) with a few computers set up and they were being manned by both Compa and Yamada-sensei.
At the same time IF-sensei was overlooking a virtual map of the open ocean surrounded by a few small islands while Orimura-sensei was on the phone.
"Hey Ichika do you know what's going on?" Naruto asked but at the moment Ichika was as clueless as Naruto when it came to the situation.
Finally Orimura-sensei put the phone down and turned to face everyone in the room. "Thank you all for coming here."
"Orimura-sensei just what is going on?"
"Early today an experimental 3rd generation IS known as the Silver Gospel escaped from its secret testing site and right now it's on a direct course with the IS academy, the US government has handed the situation over to us so right now we're going to have to send you back to the academy."
"No you don't Chi-chan!" From above Tabane swung down and stood next to Chifuyu.
"What do you mean by that Tabane?"
Tabane took out a visualizer and placed it on the table in front of her, it flipped open to reveal the Akatsubaki, the armour on its wings flipped open to reveal its fold out armour. "The Akatsubaki along with the Byakushiki can go and confront the Silver Gospel using the Byakushiki's ability along with the Akatsubaki's speed will make this mission a snap!"
Chifuyu nodded her head. "If that's the case then I think the plan could work. Ichika Houki are you two up for it?"
Ichika nodded almost instantly but Houki she seemed hesitant for a moment before she looked over to Ichika and looked into his eyes to see determination burning in his eyes that gave Houki hope and she nodded as well.
"Alright then-" But then IF sensei raised her hand in objection.
"Hold it Orimura-sensei are you just sending those two?" Chifuyu nodded.
"Yes if everything goes as planned then just the two of them will be enough."
"But shouldn't we have a back-up team just in case things go south? I mean we have Cecilia, Uni, Laura, and Naruto they can act as a second support team." Argued IF-sensei.
"It will not be needed IF-sensei, based on the data I received the Silver Gospel's weapon's system has been disabled so we won't need such a heavy support team." IF-sensei made a 'tch' sound and stormed out towards her personal equipment stash while Chifuyu released everyone else only having Ichika and Houki stay behind to discuss plans.
As for IF she reached her stash and went through the equipment before finally finding what she was looking for. "Sorry Orimura-sensei I don't mean to undermine your authority on this situation but something tells me that things may go wrong."
[Later on]
Naruto and the gang were about to retire to their respective rooms when IF-sensei appeared and called for Naruto, Uni and Laura.
"Thank you for coming here, now I know that Orimura-sensei said that only Ichika and Houki were going on the mission but I can't help but have this feeling that something will go wrong." IF-sensei placed three stealth units onto the table in front.
"IF-sensei are those..." IF-sensei nodded.
"Yes these are stealth units for IS's I want you three to sneak out early tomorrow morning and take positions ready to support Ichika and Houki. If you don't want to do this I understand and I completely understand if you don't want to go Laura." Naruto and Uni gulped while Laura looked away.
Closing his eyes Naruto reached out and grabbed a stealth unit. "I won't lie this is kinda scary but I don't want to lose anyone to overconfidence or an unknown element so I'm in."
Uni reached out and grabbed another stealth unit. "If you're going then you'll need someone to watch your back and who better than me."
Laura looked to the side. 'I-I don't know what I should do...Orimura-sensei said to stay behind and I don't want to disobey her order but then Naruto...'
Laura now felt a hand on her shoulder looking over she saw Naruto staring at her. "Don't worry Laura if you don't want to do it then just don't it's your choice."
Laura pursed her lips for the moment before she reached out and grabbed the last stealth unit. "I'll do it because a husband and wife should always ride into battle together."
IF-sensei smiled. "Alright then here is the information you'll need and the place to wait if I don't give you the signal then use your own judgement and act accordingly alright?"
Uni, Laura and Naruto nodded.
"Alright then get some sleep you'll need it."

So that was one difference from the actual episode, right now we've got a second hidden team on the site so expect things to happen especially with the two part finale for season 1.
Also I have set up a completely unrelated poll concerning an SAO X Naruto story of mine and I was hoping you readers could go there and vote it would really help me out.
