-Chapter Nine: Unbalanced

Chrom suddenly asks if Robin could act as Lucina's mother while he continues to search for her (but we all know Robin is really Lucy's mother, he just can't remember it and neither can Robin) and because Robin cares too much for Chrom, she agrees. He teases towards the end that Robin could make a wonderful Queen because of how calm and sweet she would act and the unlimited support she gives him. Robin smiles and laughs off the joke.

Anna on the other hand helps Chrom's children to get ready their first day of school before hearing Lucina complaining on why the skirts are so short. The doorbell rings and Anna answers and sees Chrom and Robin together. Robin accuses slightly to Chrom asking if Anna was her mistress. Anna gets extremely insulted and throws her bag at the single father before they all make up and Chrom and Robin enter into the apartment.

Here Chrom lets Robin admit she is Lucina's mother and Lucy becomes extremely happy as Cynthia slightly feels left out. She asks when Sumia will come over like she promised and Chrom reassures that Sumia will come over but even he is unsure if Sumia will come like she promised. Soon he invites Anna out to the kitchen and asks questions about the map.

She explains too get back home he must sacrifices his and his wife's memories in order to return home. Not only that but the spell has a cool down and he must wait an extra nine months to come back and activate the spell. Chrom uses this timeline to find his wife quicker and help to restore both their memories. Anna suggests finding any Manaketes since they can live for many centuries to help him in his quest to remember his wife.

Lucina goes to school and is introduced to the class before tripping over her feet and Inigo helps her to gather her books together, annoyed, Lucy returns to her seat and after a conversation the boys had to themselves, Lucina replies with a smart comment of her own, sending Inigo off his chair admitting that making Lucina fall for him would be harder than he first thought.

As the children are at school Chrom wonders about where to find Nowi or Tiki before Robin replies saying she had met Nowi two years ago to give her dragon stones to her. She explains that in the new world Dragon stones and Beast stones are highly valuable and sometimes kill the owners to get the stones to sell. Chrom is shocked by the news and ask about Nowi's condition. With glad news Robin states Nowi is alive and so is her child, sadly though, Tiki had died due to a illness that only harmed manaketes.

Both rush to the school afterwards and Chrom plans to confront the dragon in hope Nowi would give him news about his forgotten wife but Nowi had changed hugely and doesn't seem to be interested in sharing any news to him for some unknown reason.

Chapter Ten: Fear

"It's a fire that burns from birth in even the coldest heart. It motivates and paralyzes the best of us or is used as a weapon by the worst. But when your path is one of treachery and deception the greatest fear of all is that the truth is absolute."

She held onto her child's hand tightly as her emerald irises shook with fear. Her lime hair swayed with the sudden breeze that passed them both. Her posture, her looks and even the way she dressed showed a new person to Chrom. Just like in the stories where he heard Tiki use to be as playful as Nowi before waking up all cool and collected.

Even with the cooler weather approaching the city Nowi seemed comfortable in wearing a green dress with pink ribbons placed on the side and in between her breasts. Her long high purple boots faded into simple heels and gloves where seen on her hands. A light scarf was seen around her neck instead of her long purple cape. Her hair was no longer long but it was cut short and just passing her shoulders.

A new look for a new personality,

Nah on the other hand seemed to remain the same as the future one he fought side by side centuries ago except her cape was now a simple hoodie with a symbol of a white dragon in the corner of her jacket.

"How?" The king could hear her mutter. "How can you exist in this timeline?"

"Nowi." His voice was more stern that before. "Tell me what you know."

She took a step back as Nah followed her mother's lead. "You are not my king no more, I don't have to listen to you."

Her eyes portrayed anger that Chrom never thought the manakete could show off ever. Nowi was known to fill happiness and joy throughout the camp in the darkest days of the war and centuries later that joy and happiness has been drained and been replace by an emotion that didn't seem possible until now.

"Nowi," Chrom repeated. He glanced to see if the road was clear before crossing. As soon the young mother saw the former king making his way to her as started to backtrack before starting to run down the footpath. "Nowi!"He screamed. "Why are you so upset?!"

It seemed Nowi just waited for Chrom to ask her that question as she came to immediately stop. She glanced over her shoulder.

"Thanks to your selfish desires to find your Queen, people like me who can lives centuries now have memories that I remember having but don't remember living." Nowi turned to face Chrom. "I remember falling asleep with my husband by my side in a warm cottage by the mountains and when I wake up, I am introduced into a new world, new life and new children. I have photos and stories of my life together. It's like waking up with amnesia but the only difference is that I have the memories of my life here – I just don't remember the feeling."

Her anger suddenly vanished into fear. As if her anger towards him kept her strong and now only fear could be seen through her emerald eyes. "You didn't know, did you?" She muttered. "But of course you didn't." Nowi answered her own question. "You always don't know the answer. You always counted on your great tactician of a wife to think the plans over. Without her, you were nothing but another ordinary king."

Nowi took a step back before feeling her back collide into something, turning around it was no other then her dear husband. Staying strong she guided her daughter's hand to her father. With Libra still at a lost he simply took his child's hand and signaled that he and Nah would be waiting for her by their car. Libra was always a quiet and collected man.

"Are you sure you're alright?" He whispered into her ear.

"Yes. Please, wait for me by the car. I...I need to fix something."

Without anymore hesitation Libra followed his wife's orders willingly and watched from the sidelines of their car. He watched Nowi stand tall and brave - the bravest he ever saw her.

"Nowi if you just tell me who my wife is or maybe a hint or two so by the end of this year I can fix everything the way it should be. I and everyone else involve can finally go home."

"But what if I don't want to go home?" Hands were placed by her side, "Let's be honest Chrom, do you really want to go home? To a place filled with uncertainty and where a huge war could start from the smallest of arguments?"

Chrom didn't have an answer. Somehow he did want to return home but at the same time he didn't. Nowi was right, here was where he could be himself and make mistakes without his whole kingdom judging him so harshly. Here, he could walk down the streets without people piling up to him like he was a God. Here, he was normal.

The new world had it problems, crimes and thieves didn't change but for once, cities weren't burning with people inside of them - each town was ruled by a range of people rather than one whole leader. There were times where he questions the laws of his new kingdom but compared to his time they all proved to be improvements.

"You have to make a decision. When the cool down of the spell you used to get here is ready, this world will either fall into complete destruction and despair or it stays the way it does and only get better. When you face the Outrealm gate for the final time that is where you will make your choice. If you stay here the people of New Ylisse will finally remember the history of their city but if you go back, you will lose any memories you have here." Chrom was never use to seeing Nowi so serious.

"The years have changed you."

"Haven't they all?" She cocked up an eyebrow.

"...perhaps." Chrom spoke softly.

The lime hair woman took in a sigh of relief before her lashes started to thicken with her own tears. Chrom knew she was holding something back but refused to speak any about it. As soon her eyelids closed, tears were seen running down her face. He didn't want to keep this going as he too was having a hard time keeping himself together.

"Tell me this Nowi, my wife, is she alright...is she okay?"

The mother looked up to her former king and could see the pain he had in his deep blue eyes. He was desperate, even with Robin by his side he had to know.

"If you're talking about Queen Sumia then-"

"You know who I'm talking about." Chrom interrupted. "Just tell me."

She quickly turned her back as more tears fell down her cheeks. She didn't want to remember what else that dreaded spell would do in nine months, the fear, the sadness and the despair. It was getting too much. It was like seeing those villages on fire back in her time. She had seen too much in her life.

"Your Queen is fine. She is alive and doing well." She glanced over to Robin. "Your search is coming to an end."

All Chrom could do was watch the young mother run into the arms of her dear husband as there she laid to rest her tears. Chrom could feel Robin slip her hand into his as he kept his eyes glued onto the small family before looking away at his. There by the school gates were Lucina, Cynthia and Morgan walking out together. He took one step down the footpath with Robin by his side and eventually the two families were standing side by side. Libra giving off a glare, clearly shown he was upset with his doing and Nah standing behind her father.

He tightened his ponytail and lifted his glasses to the bridge of his nose as Nowi clenched on his brown leather coat tightly, her back facing Chrom. He soon turned away as Chrom made his way over to greet his children. When they were no longer in sight the father suddenly stopped.

"Chrom?" It was the first time Robin had spoken since he greeted Nowi.

"I didn't know I was hurting so many people, from my children to Sumia and now Nowi and Libra. Who's next?" Robin noticed Chrom's eyes were fixed on the cement paving they were on. "All for my selfish desire to find her,"

"You never knew things would turn out like this. You are not to blame."

"What do you think she meant by my search is nearly over?" He shook his head in confusion. "Is she-"

"Be glad you now know your wife was a tactician and stood by your side for the whole war. Isn't that something to be happy about? Maybe that is what Nowi means, your one step closer to remember who she is."

Her warm kinds words brought a soft smile to Chrom's lips as he held Robin's hand tighter.

He was so lost when she wasn't around.

Just like the tactician that stood by his side in the war so many centuries ago.

"Nowi." Libra pronounced her name in the most comforting ways. "Nowi," He repeated as he watched his wife stomp into the kitchen. "Please talk to me."

"Mother…" Nah was barely heard. She looked up to her father. "I'll just head off to Tiki's room."

"I think that is for the best." Her father patted her back lightly as his oldest child walked off into her sibling's room. "Now, Nowi."

Her handbag was tossed onto the dining table as she pulled the fridge's handle harshly as her husband watched from afar. Their personalities couldn't be so apart. He was calm and collected and she was the wild one. Libra never liked calling his wife's name from across the room and just made his way over, placing his hand over hers. In an instant Nowi just stopped doing things and stood still.

She closed her eyes as soon she felt Libra's warm body come into contact with hers and holding her safe and warm. Opening her eyes half lit her anger had vanish and now in the arms of Libra was a lost and confused woman. A woman who had memories of them together but couldn't remember the feelings they brought such as happiness and sadness.

"It's alright. I told you, its okay if you can't remember the times we had together. What matters is that you're here with me, Nah and Tiki."

"Yes…Tiki." She closed her eyes once more.

She had been placed into this world two years ago, she could remember the feeling of waking up not surrounded by that cottage house her dear husband worked so hard to build for them both or their wedding photos and them with photos of Nah by her bedside table. What greeted her was an empty white hospital ceiling with strange machines attached to her body. Afterwards came scream after scream. Strange men and woman dressed in the most outrageous outfits came to calm her down but it only made things worse.

Then suddenly came Libra. His calm presence somehow told her everything was going to be okay. But when she saw the look on his face when she explained herself to him she knew she wasn't home.

And that was when the anger and the sadness started to build.

So when she went to the museum and library their city had and saw there was no recollection of her timeline or King Chrom, she knew he was to blame. The image of her king at a lost ever since Robin died to save him and her people was pictured in her mind. He wasn't the same and Nowi knew that if there were a chance that he could see her for the last time, he would grab it without a moment's hesitation.

So here is where she stayed. She was glad her child and her husband stayed the same even with the time skip and she didn't mind them having no memories of her in her timeline. It didn't take long until she gave birth to her second child and in honor of Tiki, who passed away to a strange illness even before she existed in her new world, she named her child after her.

"So who were those people, I have never seen you so upset like that before."

"That man asked me about his wife. He came here to find her." She tilted her head up towards Libra. "But I can't tell him much because it will hurt him too much in the end."

"How so?" Libra loosened his grip on Nowi and let her slid through. He followed her down the hallway and into the room of their youngest child. Their hands locked together as they walked down.

As she held the doorknob, Nowi glanced over her shoulder to her husband. "Do you believe in magic?"

The sudden question made Libra ponder. He gave off a shrug. "If manaketes can exist why can't magic?" He gave off a small smile.

The young mother smiled and a sense of relief poured over her as she walked into the room. And her lips made her smile last longer as she saw her two children sleeping. Nah by the couch and her year old child in her crib. Both were placed close to one another. She kneeled down to Nah and brushed her long golden locks as they were released from their locks.

"In nine months, all of this will vanish. I don't think I'm ready to lose all of you."

"Have faith, the Gods above won't let anything bad happen to us." Libra watched from the entrance of the room. He watched his wife walk to the crib and hold their one-year-old child in her arms.

Her eyes were filled with fear that he wasn't use to ever seeing – or ever would be. Libra walked as she cooed her child back to slumber and her sweet voice echoed in the nursery, Nowi swayed her body left to right in a smooth motion to keep her child calm.

"To be honest, I don't want to her back home, back to that world full of war. Even if we did defeated Grima it would only takes years until another would come along. Here, I'm sure that won't happen. Here, I'm safe." She spoke only loud enough for only her to hear.

"Don't you miss soaring into the skies though?" Nowi nearly jumped after hearing Libra's voice so close.

Giving off a half lit smile, "Yes, at times but I missed too much with my family to think about that right now." Her eyes glanced down at Tiki. "Right now I just want to be here until my time is up."

"Cynthia how can you have so much energy? Aren't you tired from P.E?" Morgan complained as he held the straps of his backpack tighter.

"How can you not?" The teen cheered as she ran on ahead. "I had so much fun in playing that game called...dodge-"

"Ball." Her older sister finished. Lucina didn't seem to be in the best of moods.

"Sooo...let me guess, Inigo?" Morgan gave off an awkward chuckle.

The young teen nearly jumped at how tightly Lucina was holding the strap to her bag. The single mention of the boy's name would set her alight. Her first day of school had to be her worse by far.

Her day started by stumbling her books all over the floor in her first class and wanted to hurt Inigo but she couldn't, as she didn't have a reason to since he helped her collect her books from the floor. Next came cooking class where smoke was seen leaving her oven causing half the class to panic, except for Owain and Inigo who came down as the heroes they (well one) claim to be.

Followed up by art where Lucina covered herself in buckets of paint due to a slip in the stock room, Inigo was there again with Owain trying to remove the paint stuck in her long blue hair. It was embarrassing for many reasons but the main one was letting some boys help her wash the paint out of her hair instead of some female friend, which she still failed to have. The only one she seem willing to make friends with seem too cold and snobby for her taste. Her name suddenly came back to her – Severa.

"For the two years I'm been here I have never seen Inigo so determine to win you over."

"By the gods, why me of all people." Lucina cussed.

"Hey!" Cynthia's voice was louder than ever. Looking ahead both noticed Cynthia was by the school gate, waiting for them both. "Slow pokes!"

"I can't wait until I get back home and wash the rest of this red paint out of my hair." Lucina grumbled as she held her ponytail in her hands. Most of the paint had been washed out but some of her strands of hair had come together and it was irritating Lucina greatly.

"Ahaha we meet again fair maiden of the dear lance, prepare for battle!"

Lucina and Morgan froze. They knew that voice and they knew very well what would happen next.

"No!" Both yelled simultaneously. They suddenly rushed to the gate.

Both reached the gate in time as both discovered both were holding quite lengthy wooden branches. A crowd was building around them once again like the first time Lucina and her sister entered a school for the first time.

Lucina noticed the two haven't crossed 'blades' yet as Inigo had some distance away from Owain with his right hand covering his face.

"Why why why why." He spoke over and over again. "My beautiful reputation is going down thanks to this goon."

"I cannot let this girl come out and claim this territory as her own. We must cross blades to see who is better!" Owain chanted.

"And I for one agree! A hero never backs down from a challenge!" Owain's ego was now starting to rub on Cynthia.

"Morgan." Lucina spoke the boy's name while still having her attention focused on the battle ahead. "You friends with Owain?"

"…kinda? Morgan raised a confused eyebrow.

"Then I won't hurt him that much then." Lucina's lips cocked up. This frightened Morgan.

So the rumors of the crazy year ten student were true after all.

The young princess slipped her shoulder bag off with ease and gave it to Morgan to hold as the young man stood dumbfounded. She afterwards rolled her shoulders before punching her fists together. Lucina lifted off her feet quickly and jumped over the gate rather than going through and with ease landed in the middle of Owain's and Cynthia's confrontation.

She gave a glare to her sister before tugging the wooden branch from her sister. She turned to face Owain with her 'sword' pointing towards him.

"Then prove your worth as a hero by going against a duel with me." She challenged.

"What?!" Owain stuttered, falling out of character. "You can't just switch out like that."

"Then to make things fair let me duel against her." Inigo's voice was suddenly filled with excitement.

"You can fight?!" Owain sounded rather shock.

With a smirk Inigo took the tree branch from his best friend's grasp. "My father may be a crazy psychopath with a fetish with blood but my mother on the other hand, knows how to move with swords in her hand with the most graceful movements."

"Alright butterfly-boy, prove it."

Owain crossed his arms and counted down from three and as soon the last number was heard the two were off. Within seconds their wooden 'blades' crossed one another before they pulled apart. Cynthia knew her sister well; she was going to not to take the battle lightly. After all, half her time was wasted on one day training to wield her father's sword.

Inigo jumped off the ground and for a few seconds looked like he was floating off the ground. He blade met with Lucy's as she defended the attack. Lucina retaliated and tried to land a hit on the lover boy but he repelled her attacks well, as if he could predict all her movements.

She had never felt so threatened before.

Inigo gave the woman a cocky smile before landing hit after hit at a much faster pace then she could imagine possible from him. Due to the force of the attacks Inigo kept landing she placed the blade close to her chest as she kept on defending, taking one step back at a time.

The wooden branch was soon at its limits and with one more swipe from Inigo the branch broke into two, sending Lucina onto the ground as Inigo placed the weapon against her neck. Keeping his 'blade' where it was, he kneeled down low enough for their noses to touch.

"If there is one thing I'm confident besides getting the ladies its at the battlefield. If you want a rematch I'll gladly accept my princess."

The princess gritted her teeth and clenched her fists as she tried to move but due to Inigo having her pinned down with a tree branch she couldn't do anything but stare at his face. She admitted, he was good looking and she hated herself for admitting that.

Suddenly Lucina felt the weight on her lifted within seconds to discover her father was holding Inigo up by his shirt like he was some toy on a string.

"And who are you to be so close to my daughter?"

"Ehehe…" Inigo smiled awkwardly. "Just playing a game sir,"

The former king placed Inigo back on his feet, which the young teenager was very glad off. Most fathers he came across would have thrown him over the school gate by now. Soon the crowd scattered away as soon they noticed the duel was over. Soon Inigo and Owain followed.

"Mother!" Morgan called as she ran over to Robin. She looked at Lucina and saw her face was puzzled. "Something the matter Lucy?"

"Morgan." He felt his mother's hands on his shoulders. "I need to tell you something. Lucina, she is your sister."'

"What?!" the teenager dropped his and Lucina's bags in the process. "Since when?"

"Chrom here, in fact is your real father that went missing. But sadly he doesn't recall any memories with us because he got caught up in a horrible accident." Robin spoke, straight to the point. She was surprised how quickly she was telling her son.

Chrom was finding hard to believe the irony. When he met his future son in the war it was him that couldn't remember his father. Now it was him that couldn't remember anything about his 'son.'

"Really?!" Morgan spoke cheerfully. "That's really him?"

The former king was at a lost. Now he knew how Robin felt when she admitted she was Lucina's mother. An act they both had to play, a very painful act. Not holding back the young man quickly ran into the arms of his father, catching him off guard that it nearly caused them both to fall down. Chrom couldn't help but be as emotional as Morgan was as he continued to cry tears of joy.

"I don't care if you can't remember me or mother! We can make new memories with us and my sisters." Morgan smiled just like Robin did – it was simply beautiful.

His words made the young father smile as he held Morgan in his arms. "My son," He muttered. "My son,"

The two older sisters smiled but for once, Cynthia's smile didn't last as long as it normally did. She watched painfully as the family of four gathered together. Her eyes continued to observe each and every family. Lucina was smiling for the longest and the happiest ever since they arrived three months ago. Her father was laughing in a way she knew she could never make him too. Morgan was jumping and acting the happiest she ever saw him and Robin had the most relaxing and calmest smile she had that for a moment, she swore she saw her mother instead.

She wanted to run, to scream into the arms of another. But she couldn't do it - it wasn't her.

By the walls of the school grounds Owain made his way back to school due to leaving his books behind in pursuit after his rival. He quickly hid behind the walls near the school gate after seeing the piggy tail girl it such sadness he couldn't help but stare at her – near to the point where he felt sorry for ever seeing her as some evil hindering rival.

He quickly hid behind the wall when she noticed the young student looking his way. As if she knew he was there.

"Cynthia."

Her father had called her name in the way she loved. Cynthia watched as her father reached his warm and huge hand to her. He was smiling, not because he was finally reunited with a family he never knew he had but was smiling for her. It was because she was there.

"Come here." Chrom spoke ever so comforting.

"Of course!" She cheered as she jumped into her father's arms. Everyone chuckled as he spun her around in the air in his arms before putting her down.

"Thank you Cynthia."

"What for father?" Cynthia asked. Her sudden jealously and sadness was wiped clean when her father invited her. As if he was inviting her into his family.

"For being a wonderful daughter and sister to Lucina and now Morgan too,"

"That reminds me!" The girl suddenly interrupted. "Since me and Morgan are the same age, can I call him my twin?"

"But I don't want to look like you!" Morgan pointed in fear.

"Too late!" She poked her tongue out. "From today, you are my twin!"

Morgan pulled down on her mother's arm. "Mom, help!"

Both adults broke into laughter before calming down. Robin's eyes soon landed on Lucina's who was just having the time of her life, like a huge burden was lifted off her shoulders. Somehow, Robin felt she had stared at those eyes – that smile once before, a feeling that she suddenly missed.

"So does this mean you're the wife my father was so desperate to look for?"

Robin's auburn crossed with Chrom's and watched him gave a small approval to her, looking back at her oldest child. "Yes."

Owain watched on from a distance as the small family laughed and helped each other out. The blond held his backpack over one shoulder, holding onto the strap tightly. He couldn't stop looking at them as a strange sensation came over him. But his eyes stared at Cynthia the longest. She was smiling but she was holding back. Even with the smiles and the laughs she gave there was always one second where her real feelings would show.

"Can't they see it?" He asked himself. "She isn't happy." Owain sighed. "I can relate."

"Owain,"

Glancing over his shoulder he noticed it was his good friend, Inigo. "Hey." He took one more glance at the reunited family before at his friend.

"You alright? Where are those cheesy hero lines you would throw at me? And aren't you the one that comes looking for me with some cheesy hero entry?"

"Not today." The teen spoke softly. "Not today." He made his way to Inigo. "Your place as usual?"

Inigo chuckled. "Where else do you live hero? At your father's at some old farm?"

The young man slipped his backpack onto him properly and held on the straps tightly. "Let's not talk about the old man here."

The newly reunited family decided to spend the night at Robin's home. Dinner had been served and had passed an hour ago and the fireplace was lit. The usual lonely house of two was filled with a burst of life of the teenager's wild antics and joy and the love between the two new lovers. Neither did expect for the children to accept each other so quickly, especially Cynthia. Though Robin could feel the disconnection she had with Chrom youngest child she understood. She may have been smiling all the way home but the more she smiled the more she knew she was holding back. Robin knew Chrom felt the same thing.

The teenagers had scattered to Morgan's room as they played video games to watching movies. Morgan showed off his wonderful army in a game called Flaming Emblem but neither of the girls understood if the stats he showed was good but they admitted they game looked fun to play.

In the living room where the fireplace was dancing wilding as it swayed from left to right as the strangers themselves. On the same couch where they woke up this morning they were seen there again. Chrom was lying on his back as Robin rested on the top, their lips hardly apart. The young mother ran his silk like fingers through his wild and messy hair and Chrom twirled around hers.

Beside the soft mutters they exchanged between one another the fire continue to crack, as it kept burning alive. It was the only source where the light was coming from as both decided to shut the lights off – making the fire produce a slightly more romantic feel.

"You know, I don't I've ever felt this happy." Chrom spoke as soon their lips parted before them joining once again. He held onto her waist tightly as Robin pressed her palms on his chest.

"Ever?" She teased as she started to kiss down his neck.

"…Yeah." He closed his eyes as his grip on Robin loosened slightly. "You know, I sometimes wish I didn't have nine months to choose. I wish I could just stay here, with you and Morgan." He turned to his side with Robin in his arms. He kept on turning until he was the one on top.

"I see you already treating Morgan like your real son." Robin smiled warmly.

"I always wanted a son, even if Morgan is not fully related to me by blood I can't wait to teach him things like riding horses or playing sport…I'm not getting ahead of myself am I?" He asked, reassuring.

"No, it's fine. I'm sure Morgan will love to do those things with you in time."

He lifted her off her back and pushed her onto his lips and they both stood that way for a minute or so. They started to get excited once more and felt it running through their veins. Robin's hand was slipping off the sofa and she was patting the coffee table nearby to regain her balance and to push herself back onto the couch. With her face deeply locked with Chrom's her hand kept on touching the table to find a good and safe spot to push herself back.

Her fingertips touched the Falchion, which was placed on the table, and in a few seconds a sharp pain entered into Robin's mind once more. The sword flashed a bright light that both interrupted their moment as Robin was diving into yet another memory.

A burning village, thieves scattered everywhere. Looking around she noticed the same strangers from earlier, it was Lissa and Fredrick but like Chrom their outfits were totally different. She recognized they were in some sort of marketplace due to the fruit stands they seem to be surrounded by.

"Wait!" She screamed. She had no control over her body or what she was saying. She was just watching on.

"Robin! Your followed us! Why?" Chrom screamed as she ran over to her.

"I…I'm not to certain myself." She replied honestly with an awkward smile. "But I'm armed, and I know my way around a fight, if you have me."

"Of course – strength in numbers." He stuttered. Robin could see couldn't believe the guts she was showing to a complete stranger. "Just stay close!" He out stretched his arm to protect her as a thief came their way wielding an axe. Without a moment's hesitation Chrom quickly got rid of the foe.

After slaying a few enemies of her own she could hear Chrom speaking to her once again. "So, Robin. I see you wear a sword. Is it-" He paused for a moment. "Wait, is that a tome...you know magic?"

"I…believe so? I suppose I should check."

"You believe so?" he seemed rather irritated at how unsure she was. "Perhaps I should stay a few paces behind you for the time being…"

To speak those words to somebody he picked up on the road it was rather and strange and protective. But Robin didn't mind though, she enjoyed the huge amount of trust he had in her.

"No, I can control it. I'm sure." Robin started to flick through her spell book. Robin quickly understood the symbols inside as it remarkable resemblance to her Elthunder spell book at home. "Now, how did this work again? Ah, yes…"

Robin smiled as soon she saw the sparks fly out of her thunder book and aim and multiple enemies, killing them with ease. After that moment the battle ended within minutes. The village could be saved as the fire was quickly taken care of and Robin had gained the trust from Chrom and his other close allies. Fredrick still acted funny around her but Chrom and Lissa had her full support.

After a brief moment of accepting thanks from the villagers they all prepared to leave and make their way to the next town. Holding her book tightly she looked up to the young prince.

"Ready to go Robin? The Capital isn't far."

"You want me to go with you as what? Some criminal?" Robin raised an eyebrow.

Chrom laughed and soon calm down a minute later. "No, I want you to travel with me as an ally."

Robin could feel her face fluster and her heart warm up. With a smile Robin nodded and laughed slightly. "Thank you."

The sudden pain stopped and Robin's vision came to a halt and her vision had now returned back to her apartment where Chrom's eyes were filled with such fear and concern about her. Looking around Robin took a sigh of relief to notice she was back in her time before feeling her body rushed into Chrom's arms.

"Are you fine? Are you hurt? Robin?" He panicked as he parted from her.

"No no, I'm fine now." Robin held her head. She was glad the sharp pain were gone. "I just had a strange dream."

"A dream?"

"It was when I touched the Falchion. I was looking through somebody's memory and I saw you there in your time with Lissa and Fredrick by your side. We were at a market place and we were fighting off some thugs and murderers. It felt like it was your first battle with this woman…Robin."

"A woman that I shared my first battle with named Robin." Chrom made his way on his two feet. "Yes, it's coming back to me now. I found this strange girl by the side of the road when I was heading to the Capital with Fredrick and my sister. Fredrick didn't like my decision to take her with me but I trusted her. I didn't know why but I did and I liked it…she didn't trust me because I was a prince but who I was and I did the same to her." Chrom looked back at Robin. "And after we saved that burning village from those thugs I knew I did the right thing to take her with me."

"…Did you have any recollection of her of this before?"

"No." He shook his head. "All I could remember about my wife was that she died in our final battle with Grima. That's it. It's like after you told me that story I suddenly remember it all. It's like the Falchion is passing memories of my wife…to you."

Robin's eyes fell on Chrom's most treasured item. "But why me?"

The young man slipped his fingers into Robin's and held her hand and pulled her onto her feet. "I don't know but what matters is that you're the key to help me remember everything. Now I understand what Nowi meant when she said my search is nearly over." He smiled. "When I find her, I'll tell her everything and I'll let her tell me everything. I'll tell her we're over because I want to be with you instead." He leaned his forehead onto hers. "Is that okay with you?"

Robin gave off a smirk and held Chrom's hand in return. She nodded and closed her eyes. "I'm absolutely fine with that."

A/N: Hello everyone finally made everyone in this story together and I would like to remind you now that Chrom and Robin are now officially dating! –party party!- But of course, Stahl and Sumia are going to show up and of course, give certain challenges to them both. Testing their relationship.

Also just want to make this clear the only parents that won't have a child is Lissa because like I stated before she is only around 18-19 and Owain is like 15-16, so his father will be mentioned but his mother will not. It's because Lissa is just too young and I didn't do my planning very well obviously. But back in Chrom's time Lissa is the mother of Owain, just not in this story. And plus, it makes an interesting twist doesn't it? XD

I will make sure Nowi will play a part in the story since she remembers everything about Chrom, but the challenge will be from our main protag is to tell him everything. And what is the other half of the spell that she won't tell and how she knows this? Ahaha, time will tell. :D
