I'm sorry. I don't even know if anyone remembers this story considering it's been nearly six years since I've touched this story. The truth to why I never finished it is because I had the next chapter and part of the one after that completed then my laptop crapped out on me. It completely devasted me, and I just didn't have the motivation or inspiration to redo it.
Since then, I've grown up a lot, and I'm sure if any of originally read this story years ago, you have too. While I can't necessarily write and complete the story for you, I do have this: the overly detailed outline of the remaining chapters that needed to be written that I wrote years ago for this story that I've had in the drafts of my email for six years. It's not as great as if it was written out in story format, but if anyone is dying to know how everything would have eventually turned out, here's the conclusion.
Once again, I am sorry about this. I know I get pissed when I find an interesting story only to discover it's incomplete. I actually meant to post this a while ago, but just forgot. I hope this is proper closure for everyone involved.
Chapter 10-
Two months later...
Mako and Korra know something isn't right. The case about the remaining accomplices to the DOA case hasn't murdered anyone for two months. It just doesn't seem right. Actually, nothing developed in that case at all. It was at a complete stand still. The good thing that no one was killed. The bad thing was no one knew where or what the remaining accomplices were planning or their location. Currently, Mako and Korra are at home taking care of the twins. Mako has finally got a day off for the first time in weeks. Mako is making him and Korra dinner while Korra is on her knees with Kari on one of the dining room chairs trying to get her to eat a can of baby food. Mako lets the food cook while he enters the dining room to see Korra with food all over her face. Mako asks her what's she's doing. Korra says she's trying to get Kari familiar with some solid foods so she bought a can of baby food from the store early that day. Mako says she's probably still a bit too young for that then asks when Ken is. Korra says she doesn't know. She remembers she brought Kenny out first then Kari and started to attempt to feed her. She could be anywhere crawling. Recently, Ken started to crawl and was starting to become a trouble maker. Korra was stretched to the limits trying to keep up with the mobile baby and the baby who couldn't quite crawl yet. It seemed like Kari wanted too, but she just couldn't get it yet. Korra is just worried when they both start to crawl. Mako is mad that Korra isn't keeping track of both of them, but just goes searching some rooms for him. He ends up finding him in one of the spare rooms looking at something. Mako walks up behind him and grabs him. He picks the book up second and realizes it's a book about the development of babies. Mako then looks on the ground again and sees another book. He picks that one up too and it's a book about pregnancy. Only one thought ran through his head when he knew what the book was about. Is Korra pregnant again? Mako looks at Ken in his arms. First of all, how did he get these books? Were they hidden from him in the first place? That only made the possibility of Korra being pregnant even higher. Mako decides to play it cool when he sees Korra. He makes a quick stop to his own room and throws the books in his bedside table. He walks back out to the dining room and sees Korra just sitting there with Kari in her arms. Mako gives her Ken and tells her that dinner will be ready soon and that she should put the kids in for a nap. Mako takes a glance at her stomach wondering if there was a baby in there.

Korra and Mako had finished dinner a while ago and Korra had fed the twins. Korra is in the bathroom trying to pick out some food that's stuck between her teeth while she is talking to Mako who is on their bed waiting for her. They're making small talk before Mako brings up the subject of babies. He asks her if she wants another baby. Korra instantly stops picking at her teeth and leans in the doorway that connects the bathroom and bedroom. She says not for a while and tells him that he needs to stay in the present. Focus on Kenny and Kari and the case about to crazy killer people. He then asks if she's pregnant. Korra denies that she's pregnant and asks what brought the crazy question. He grabs the book out of the drawer and tosses it to her. He says he-actually Ken found it in the other room and he wants to know why she was hiding it. Korra starts to laugh and walks over to their bed and slaps him on his back. Mako asks what's so funny. Korra says that Asami gave her that book along with another one the other week. She explains that Asami thought it'd be a good idea for Korra to have it in case something suddenly happened. She then says she wasn't hiding them. They were under the bed, but Kenny must've found them and dragged them into the other room. She looks over at Mako whose face it flushed and he's rubbing the back of his neck. He then grumbles asking her that she's sure she's not pregnant. Korra says she definitely not pregnant and they've barely had any time in the last few months to do anything that would create a baby in the first place. She pulls him down for a quick kiss thinking it is very funny that he thought that she was pregnant. Mako grumbles at her and tells her to tell him the next time Asami gives her a book about babies. Korra wants to tease him some more, but can sense his embarrassment on the subject and moves onto another topic. She asks him if she can accompany him tomorrow on his night shift and assist him on the case. He says say she can if she's able to. She says she can she'll just feed them right before they leave and get Kandice to come over and watch them for a few hours. Korra admits that she has some sort of feeling like this murder case is coming to an end very soon.

Mako and Korra are in his office looking at a map of the city looking for possible areas where the criminals could be hiding. Mako is way better at marking places than Korra even though she's lived in the city for almost a decade. It quiet at the station since it's night time and most officers are patrolling the city. There's maybe four other officers doing paperwork and just the Chief going over officers' work for the day. Korra is complaining because she thought they'd actually be roaming the city for them not stuck in his office looking for reasonable locations for them. Mako says they need a plan and not go around the city in a random order because then they'll lose track of where they've already went. Korra then says wouldn't that be better because the enemy wouldn't be able to predict their next move. Mako thinks to himself that he loves her, but she can get annoying and having your stubborn wife be your partner in crime isn't a smooth sail either. Mako tells her just to keep her mouth shut and look for other reasonable places where they might be hiding. Korra grumbles at him while looking down on the map that's on his desk. Suddenly, Lin comes bursting through Mako's door and tells him and Korra to come with her and the other officers to an alleyway. There's recent sighting about a man with a gun and another man going in an alleyway. It could possibly be the men they're looking for. Mako and Korra instantly leave and follow Lin.
0000000
Korra, Mako, Lin, and along with five other police officer are about to enter the alleyway that the two men had entered earlier that night. Lin is telling them that she and Korra will go in first and that the rest of the officers should be prepared in case something goes wrong. Lin tells them to watch each other's back and Korra lights a torch and she and Lin enter the alleyway. Nothing looks out of the sorts until they get about three quarters of the way in. They notice a man in dark clothing all over him except his brown eyes and a smirk on his lips, sitting on the ground. He says that he was expecting them. He says that he is one of the men that they were looking for and that they made the biggest mistake of their lives. He suddenly stands up and does a movement with his arms and suddenly everyone except Korra are forced on the ground. Korra is raised up into the air and Korra realizes that the man is bloodbending everyone. Korra asks him who he is and the man says that he's her worst nightmare. The man twists her back and Korra suddenly has a flashback. She's in the South Pole and Lukon is throwing her against a rock with bloodbending and she's about to pass out. Korra is asking him why he's doing this and he says that she deserves it. She's a horrible Avatar, and he says he knows this skill only because she told him all about it and he mastered in a few months. He dangles her over a cliff and tells her that he doesn't care about her and that she can rot in hell for all he cares. He drops her and pushes her out to sea with his bending. Korra is back in reality and she looks down at the man and the look in his eyes gives it away. She quickly scans the area looking for anything or anyone that could possibly kill her. It's safe except for Lukon who is trying to kill her once again. Korra enters the Avatar State and lands on the ground she walks over to Lukon. He trying to have control over her again, but it's no use. She fires a fireball at him and he stumbles back and Korra earthbends a rock up and he falls on his back. Korra quickly shackles his wrists and ankles to the ground with the earth. He is trying to escape, but it's no use. Korra walks over to him and lays next to him while placing a hand on her chest and forehead and his bending is taken away. Korra exits the Avatar State and walks over to the others asking if they're alright. Everyone says they're fine and Mako asks what happened. Korra says it's Lukon who's under all that black clothing. Mako is astonished with that and thought he was dead for years. Over their conversation they hear him mumble to them that he was only a distraction. Korra and Mako asks what he means by that. He admits that he's Lukon, but he's figured they already knew that. He says that he was only a distraction. Damien is probably already at their house. He needed to get them as far away from their house and from any phone. Korra and Mako look at him and then realize what he was pointing at and it seems like Lukon does too. He says that they're right. Damien is kidnapping Kari and Ken.
Chapter 11-
Mako and Korra look at him like he's crazy, but why would he bluff about that? Lukon says he risked everything to distract them and that Damien is probably already at their house taking them. He says there's nothing worst than losing your kids and someday meeting them again and they hate you. Mako and Korra know they don't have much time and they tell the officers to take care of Lukon while they run back to their home. Mako and Korra run back to their house which is very far and they're hoping that they're not too late.

Korra and Mako are at their home and Korra is trying to open the door. It won't budge though and something is blocking the door. Mako backs up and he rams the door open. Korra quickly enters and neither of them can hear any baby cries and they're paralzyed with fear when there's a sudden cry that they recognize as Kari's. They rush in and they see the man towering over Kari's crib about to pick her up. Mako charges towards the man and pushes him against the wall. He gives him a punch in the nose before getting a good look at the man's face. It fills Mako with rage and he starts talking in deep voice telling him that he can't do this to his family and that's he a heartless man. Mako says he wants to hurt him so bad, but he says that he's a better person than that and that Korra will give him the worst punishment ever. The man suddenly gets a hand out of Mako's grip and charges up lightning quickly and jabs it in his abdomen. Mako falls to the ground and holding his stomach as the man steps over him over to Korra. As he walks over Mako he says he's changed his mind about sparing his life. Korra wants to be violent with him, but the environment they're in isn't the best. Instead she charges him and attempts to punch him, he catches her fist and pushes her back. He starts to charge another flash of lightning and is about hit her with it when Mako quickly stands up and grabs his wrist and redirects to lightning to a window which results in it breaking. Korra quickly tackles the man to the ground and places a hand on his forehead and chest. She takes his bending away and then drags him away to a bathroom and locks him in their by put a chair under the knob and put a few weights on it. She goes back to Mako and gets some water and heal his wound. They have a small conversation and Korra finds Kandice locked in their bedroom closet and then she leaves. Mako eventually calls for police backup to come and get this hopefully final guy.
000000
It's past midnight when Mako and Korra finally get to bed and they're both exhausted. Mako is laying on his back and Korra is on her side running her hand up and down his torso. Korra asks him what he meant earlier when he told the man he wanted to hurt him so bad. Mako has a quick few flashbacks hearing his mother and father's scream and falling lifelessly to the ground. Mako says Damien was the man who killed his parents. Korra astonished with it doesn't understand how it's possible. Mako says the man who killed them distinctly has a mark over his cheek and Damien had the exact same one, he has no doubt about it. Korra asks what it felt like seeing the man who killed them. Mako admits he was furious with him, having to face him for the first time in almost twenty years, but if he hurt him or killed him he'd be just like him. It also made him think he could've been the one kidnapping someone kids for a horrible reason. The point is that he was furious, but he didn't want to be just like him. She then asks him how he redirected the lightning. Mako says he known how to do it, he's just never had to redirect it. The sound of a baby then is audible. Korra throws her hands over her eyes and groans at the sound and then reluctantly throws her feet over the edge of the bed. She gets up and goes into the twins' room to find Karina crying. She picks her up and asks her what's wrong. She continues to cry and Korra begins to rock her lightly. Korra then starts to talk Karina like she could actually understand her. Saying that so much has happened in the last few months. With them being born, Mako on murder case and him almost getting killed multiple times, Mako handling the case on...oh what were their real names? She just says N.J and M.K since she can't remember their actual names. Then Lukon being one of the murdering men and a bloodbender. DOA who was actually Duncan...something being N.J and M.K;s father and killed their mother. Then Mako dealing with the man who kill his finally Karina and Kenny almost getting kidnapped. Korra can't believe how much happened in the last few months and the current night! She then hears a voice telling her that Karina doesn't understand anything that she's telling her. She turns around to see Mako standing in the doorway. Korra says she was just rambling on while trying to calm her down. Mako walks up and takes Karina into his own hands looking her in the eye. For a moment Mako sees something like her as a teenager somewhere bending water with some guy yelling at her and they end up tackling each other and then the vision fades away. Mako narrows his eyes at her wondering what that was about, but he probably just had some daydream. Mako then refocuses his attention on Karina and tells her that a lot of bad stuff has been happening. He then says that her mother is using too many words and too high of a vocab for her temporarily small brain. Korra complains at his statement as she picks up Kenny who is crying slightly. Korra eventually calms him down and then walks back over and whispers in Karina's ear that Mako is an idiot and that she's married to him and she's going to have to deal with Mako when she's older. Mako rolls him eyes, but tells her that she's really a pain in the butt, but that's part of the reason why he loves her. Korra laughs and tells him that he better love her or else he's going to get killed by the Avatar. Mako says that's a perfect example for his opinion and kisses her lightly on the lips.
Chapter 12-
A month later...
Korra is at home taking care of the twins while Mako is over at Bolin and Asami's talking about something that Korra wasn't really paying attention to. The twins are about six and a half months old. Korra is watching as Kari is crawling around her room while Kenny is in his crib. Even though Kenny had learned how to crawl sooner than Karina, once Karina learned how to crawl she was fast and she was all over the place! Literally, Mako found her under their bed once. They had to completely baby proof the house with them both being able to crawl. Under the supervision of Korra though, Karina was able to have free roam of her room while Korra sat with her back against the wall near the door. Korra thought it was adorable how Karina was crawling around grabbing at some of their toys and the ends of furniture. Korra tells Karina that Mako would probably love to be with them and watch her crawl. She starts talking about how Mako loves to watch her and Kenny crawl around, but in an enclosed space so they won't get in any trouble again. Karina then slowly crawls over to Korra and falls asleep in her lap. Korra smiles and then mumbles to herself wondering where Mako is.

Mako and Bolin are in his dining room discussing the issue at hand. Mako is telling him that he shouldn't need to feel responsible for adopting Natalia and Maryn even though they've been with him for the past two months. Bolin says he and Asami discussed it and they'd loved to make them permanently. He says that he and Asami love them like they love Bella and they really fit into their family. Mako asks if it'll interfere with his personal life and pro-bending career, dealing with two eight-year olds and a three year old. Bolin says it's really nothing, Natalia is always hanging with Bella in the yard and Maryn is in the shop with Asami doing work, it's like no one is in his life at all. It's then that Natalia limping in over to Bolin. She's exclaiming that Bella hit her in the ankle with a big rock. Bolin tells her to calm down and he rolls up her pant leg. While Bolin is doing that Mako raises an eyebrow asking if Bella's beginning to learn to earthbend. Bolin confirms that, and Mako realizes he needs to keep in touch with him more. Then Bella comes in along with Maryn trotting behind. Bolin asks Bella what he told her about earth bending. Not to hit anyone in the face. Bolin adds that he also said not to hurt anyone. Bolin then remembers he still needs to ask if Maryn and Natalia want to be part of his family. He then asks the two of them. The two look at each other then at Bella who's nodding her head yes. Natalia says she already thought she and Maryn were part of the family. Bolin smiles at that and says that they'll legally be part of their family soon. Mako then realizes the time and says he better get home to the wife and kids. Maryn then asks if she can come along. Bolin approves and Mako and Maryn head back to his house.
000000000000
Mako and Maryn enter his house to find it seemingly empty. Mako knows just where to look though. He drags Maryn off to the twins room. Mako opens the door to find Korra sleeping with Karina in her arms while Kenny is sleeping in his crib still. Maryn stays in the doorway while Mako goes over to Ken's crib and picks him up and lays him on the ground. He crawls over to his mother and sister and ends up hitting Karina. Mako doesn't know if it was just an arm malfunction or if he did it on purpose, either way Karina ends up waking. She doesn't cry, but she starts to pull on Korra's hair and clothing. Korra wakes up and looks down to see Karina, but then her eyes move and she sees Kenny. Korra is wondering how in the hell he got out of his crib, but then sees someone's feet and the person picks up Kenny. Korra narrows her eyes at him and asks him what took him so long. He says that he and Bolin had to sort some things out about his personal life. Korra stands up and tells Mako he has to stop living his brother's life for him. He's twenty-three years old and he has a daughter, he can handle himself. Then Mako mutters saying that he has a daughter and two adoptive daughters eventually. Korra raises her eyebrows at that. Mako says that he and Asami decided to adopt Maryn and Natalia. Korra is surprised by that, but she's more than happy that she'll be able to see M.K and N.J a lot. She still calls them by their abbreviations because she can never remember their actual name. She walks over to Karina's crib and places her in their then walks over to Maryn saying that she's happy that she'll have actual adults that care for her. Mako places Kenny back in the crib and tells Korra that she doesn't need to talk to Maryn like she's a baby. Korra rolls his eyes and then asks him what he wants for dinner. Mako says he'd rather make the dinner so she doesn't destroy the kitchen or set the house on fire. Korra complains saying it was one time. Then Mako backfires saying six. Then Maryn offers to help her because she knows how to cook. Mako has no say in it as Korra takes Maryn up on that offer.
000000000000
It's after dinner time and Bolin came and picked Maryn up earlier. Korra is tired after making dinner, eating dinner herself, and feeding Karina and Kenny. Mako is sitting on the end of the couch while Korra is laying her back in Mako's lap and her head on the couch's headrest. Mako says she made a decent meal and the kitchen wasn't destroyed. Korra says she's not just the Avatar, but she can make a decent meal too. Mako says she can only make a decent meal if someone is assisting her. Korra makes a face at him and then crying is heard. Korra groans at that and gets up while Mako follows behind. Korra finds Kenny crying. She goes over and calms him down. Mako goes over and picks up Karina who yawns at him and it brings a smile to his face. He can't believe that she's six and a half months old. It seems like just yesterday she was born, but then the unexcepted happens. Karina says Mako, but it's more like Ma-Ko. Mako's eyes widen at that and tells her to say it again. She does and Mako's eyes tear up a bit and tells Korra to come over. Korra calms down Kenny and walks over with him in her arms asking what he wants. He looks at Karina and tells her to say it again. Korra then says she can't talk, but is stand corrected when she says Mako's name. Korra's eyes blink a few times, astonished that their six and a half month old baby just said her first word. Korra remembers reading in one of those books that most babies didn't speak an actual word until like eight months. Korra's lips break into a smile and she's amazed and asking her if she can say her name. Mako says that she's just jealous that her first word was his name and not hers or mom or mama or something referring to her. She pouts and says that Karina should've said something that referred to her for her first word not to Mako because he barely was able to spend time with her! Mako thinks it's adorable how's she pouting over it. He says that Ken can say something that refers to her for his first word, but he highly doubts he's going to be saying anything anytime soon. Korra looks down at him in her arms asleep while she looks over at Karina who has a smile on her face and her eyes are wide open. She's upset that her only daughter said her father's name as her first word, but she loves her, Kenny, and most importantly him. She leans up and kisses them. Little closing thing and it's over.
Chapter 13-
Epilouge
16 years later...
Korra and Mako are laying in their bed thinking about the good old days. Mako brings up the subject about remembering when Kenny said his first word. Korra says she'll never have that big conversation she had with him. A flashback sixteen years ago happens. Mako just came back from his shift a work and he hears Korra talking, most likely to Karina. He goes to the twins' room to find Korra sitting with Kenny on the changing table. He stands back a moment seeing what she's doing. She's telling him that her name is Korra not Kory, but he keeps saying Kory. Korra growls in frustration and turns around to see Mako smirking at her. He walks in more knowing that Kenny must've finally said his first word. Korra complains because it's not her actual name. Goes back to the present and Korra complains to took him two months to finally get it right. He laughs then asks if she remember her pregnancy with Kyra. She mumbles 'don't remind me'. Goes to a flashback. Korra is in bed eating ice cream and pickles while she's in Mako's lap with his hands on her swollen stomach. Mako still couldn't get over the fact that Korra was pregnant with another baby, but he loved it. He still thought the cravings were weird though. He says he's glad that he gets to be a part of her whole pregnancy for this time around. She happy about it too, but she hates her side effects to being pregnant. He tightens his grip on their baby and says it'll be worth it in the long run. It comes back to the present and Korra says it was totally worth it. Kyra turned out pretty well and she has a job! She then thinks about the day when she was born. This time Mako was actually with Korra, but they didn't get to a hopsital. She ended up delivering Kyra in their guest room at Bolin and Asami's. Natalia, Maryn, and Bella ended up faithing because they walked in by mistake, not knowing Korra was giving birth. Mako on the other hand wasn't too thrilled either because she had a death grip on his shirt collar and was cursing him out. When she was finally born they were both thrilled. She was healthy and finally with them. Natalia asks what they're naming her and Mako and Korra have a few names, but the one she responds to will be her name. Korra asks if she wants to be called Kyra and makes a happy noise of satisfaction and that's what she'll be named. She says it was great, but the multiple times Kenny and Karina got physical with them wasn't cool. She has a flashback to when they were probably thirteen and punching each other. They were fighting about who was smarter and dumber. Kenny ended up giving Karina a black eye and a bloody nose. They're back in the presence and Korra says it's been a rough sixteen years. Mako agrees, but he can't believe it's moved so fast. In a matter of years they'll be grandparents. What hasn't changed though it Korra is still as sexy as she has been since he first saw her. Korra says she better be because she tries, and say they better get off and go see Kyra working.
0000000000
Korra and Mako go to the place where Kyra works. She works at a place that mostly teenagers hang out at. It's kind of like a bar but in teenager form. Korra and Mako find Kyra on the stage with some friends talking about something. One friend then points their way and Kyra turns around and sees them. She gives them a smirk and holds up five fingers to tell them to wait. In the meantime the owner of the shop walks over to Mako and Korra. He says Kyra is doing a fabulous job at working the bar and performing music. Kyra then starts talking through the microphone and says that even though she doesn't sing at lunch usually she going to because of a reason. She then starts performing He Said She Said and Mako's jaw drops because of the content and Korra is trying to stifle a laugh coming out of her mouth. When she's done with it she says that she did the song from someone else's point of view not hers then walks over to her boss. Her boss praises her and says she can take a break from the bar for ten minutes to talk to Mako and Korra. Mako's jaw is still open while staring at Kyra. Korra closes it saying that he'll eat a fly. Korra says the song was nice. Kyra then asks if they want to know what she based the song off of. Mako says she better not have a secret boyfriend. She denies it and says she did it off of them. Both of their jaws drop at that and Kyra is just grinning at them. Mako and Korra say they have to go somewhere and immediately leave. Once they're out of the restaurant they both look at each other, but the Korra bursts out laughing and Mako doesn't know what's funny. Korra thinks it's funny how Kyra imagined their relationship, but she has to admit some of the lyrics were true. Mako still thinks she wrote that about some boy she likes and she doesn't like the idea of that. Korra says she's growing up and plus she remembers Kyra saying that all the boys her age are too immature. The one they should be worrying about is Kenny because they caught him without a shirt on and some girl in a tank top and short shorts in his room alone. Mako says don't remind him and he thinks back to that day that happened a few months back. Mako and Korra just came back from a nice dinner for the two of them. They weren't excepting Karina to be home because she was going to hang with Natalia, Kyra was supposed to be working, and Kenny was supposed to be hanging with some friends. They hear some noises coming from Kenny's room and they discover the two on his bed in a compromising position. Korra yells for the girl to leave and for Kenny to get his damn shirt on. Mako is disappointed in his son and tells him that they're going to need to talk. Mako still hates that day and just brushes past it. He says they should go home and enjoy some alone time until they go to the pro-bending game.
000000000
Korra, Mako, and Kyra are in the bleachers waiting for the pro-bending game to start and Kyra is inhaling the popcorn she got. Mako says she got Korra's appetite and Korra glares at him. The guy in the middle of the ring then comes out. He introduces the Ember Island Eel Hounds and then introduces the Fire Ferrets and saying their rooster is changed. Natalia is still the earthbender but the firebender and waterbender have changed. It's Karina and Kenny who are the Avatar's children. Mako screams and gets up to get a better view and sure enough it is his children. The referee starts and the game starts. Mako runs down to the drain to go teach their kids a lesson when they fall. Korra in the meantime is yelling at them to use better moves and dodge and get move quicker. Kyra is just watching her siblings and cousin fail miserably. In the ring all three of them are in zone 2 and Natalia are telling Kenny and Karina to get their act together. The fire bender on the opposing team shoots a fireball at Karina and she's pushed back to zone 3. Kenny laughs at her and she whips him. Kenny gets mad and throws a fireball and knocks her off the ring himself and Natalia is yelling at him for doing that. Karina is finally on the ledge of the drain and she sees feet she recognizes. She looks up and see Mako. She says hi to him and says how he's doing. Mako's not amused and that she shouldn't be in this pro-bending arena fighting. She gets out of the drain and says she's got a game to compete in. Mako sighs in annoyance before going back up to the bleachers. Korra is watching Natalia yelling at Kenny and Karina coming back to her zone. Mako comes back and sits down next to her saying that they shouldn't be in that ring. Korra says that they're old enough to do it. He and herself did pro-bending when they were their age. He says they only did it because they needed the money. Then all of a sudden Bolin, Asami, Bella, Maryn, and Dunstan come and sit behind them and ask how Natalia, Kari, and Ken were doing. Mako blows up at him demanding to know why his daughter and son are fighting. Bolin says he thought he knew that. They've been training for it ever since the last season ended. Maryn and Bella thought they knew too. Dunstan then says that they told him to keep their pro-bending life a secret until it started. The announcers then comes on and says the Fire Ferrets won the second round. They all look and see that all three of them managed to stay in the ring that time. The Fire Ferrets and Eel Hounds line up one last time and make an explosive beginning third round. Mako sees Karina getting attacked by the other firebender and earthbender and Kenny attacking the other waterbender. Soon enough though all the opposing attacks direct all their moves on Natalia and she's pushed out of the ring leaving only Karina and Kenny. The Eel Hounds kick it into high speed mode and start to overpower Kenny and Karina. Kenny isn't about to let that happen though. He fights through the attacks and throws fireballs non stop while Karina continues to dodge the attacks and sending water whips over. There's one remaining player, the earthbender. Karina whips him and Kenny shots the fireball sending him into the drain. The announcer declares the Fire Ferrets as the winner and Karina and Kenny do a fist pump in the air. Mako and Korra say they're going to go see them in the changing rooms alone.

Natalia are telling Karina and Kenny that they came through for her out there. She says that if they make it to the championship and they win, she'll give the majority of it to them. Karina and Kenny like the idea of that but the grins are wiped off their face when they see Korra and Mako enter their dressing room. Natalia turns around and says not to kill them or her because they're natural pro-benders if they can keep their personal matters in their minds. Mako and Korra say that they're not in trouble. Korra accepts their passion for pro-bending, but if she catches Karina or Kenny in bed with the opposite sex then they're going to have a problem. Mako doesn't say anything until Korra elbows him in the ribs. Mako says they can continue pro-bending, but no more sneaking around. They're surprised by their reactions and say that there's kind of a party at Asami and Bolin's for them. Not a party party, but just them, Kandice, Dakota, and her daughter. Korra didn't know know Kandice was in the city, but says they'll come.

Mako, Korra, Dakota, and Kandice are talking while all the others are eating. Korra and Kandice straightened out that she was visiting he city and her husband and kids are back in the South Pole. Dakota says that Kenny might have a crush on her daughter. Mako looks over at Kenny and it does look like he's flirting with her, but she's showing no interest in him. Dakota then looks at the time and says she and her daughter better get going because they're visiting her parents the next day and they have to get up early. They leave. Karina then goes over to Kenny and says he likes Dakota's daughter. He grabs a can of whipped cream from a nearby counter and squeezes it on her face. She pouts at her and takes the can from him and squeezes the remaining whipped cream on him. Kandice says she better get going and she hopes Mako and Korra can keep the kids under control. She leaves. Suddenly a fireball tears through the house a nearly hits Korra. She yells out to Kyra and Kyra and Natalia pop out and Kyra says Natalia dared her too. Mako reminds Kyra what he told her about firebending. Kyra says not to set nothing on fire. He glares at her. She says that's what Korra told her. Mako glares at Korra and then back at Kyra. He tells her to go outside if she wants to firebend. She pouts at him but leaves. Mako and Korra decide to go to their guest room. Before long Mako ends up just in his boxers and Korra's shirt on the floor. Unfortunately, Karina and Bella accidentally walk in on them wanting to tell them that everyone is going outside. Karina and Bella runaway claiming their eyes burn. Korra and Mako look at each other before laughing and Mako saying that Karina barges in just like her mother. Korra says she'll take the blame for that and grabs her shirt saying they better get outside and make sure Kari and Bella aren't scarred for life.

Karina and Bella run outside saying their eyes burn. Asami and Bolin ask what's wrong with their eyes and they exclaim they saw Mako and Korra doing something teenagers shouldn't ever witness their parents or aunt and uncle doing. Mako and Korra then come out and say nothing was happening. Karina knows what was about to happen and so does Bella. Korra says there's nothing wrong with it and then asks how they got in the world. They know how they got in the world but they don't need to know it in detail. They leave without another word then. Mako and Korra plop down on some chairs that are outside and then Bolin says they couldn't take one second to lock the door. Mako says Korra didn't bother too. Korra rolls her eyes before looking at the kids. Kenny and Kyra were doing some firebending moves while Karina was bending some water that was in the yard and sound tricks. Then Bella comes out with her motorcycle along with Maryn following behind. They made their backyard a race track. Natalia and Dunstan were sparring with each other. Even though it's night time they can all see all the action because of the torches that are lit. The kids are all causing havoc. It's hard to believe that her kids almost got kidnapped, but they're with them. Mako leans over and kisses her quickly before he says the kids are causing havoc. Korra says she knows, but it's because they take after them.
That's it folks. The end of the road. You may hate me or love me for doing this, but I figured it's better than nothing. I originally wrote this as a teenager, falling in love with the sequel to ATLA, a show I watched as a little kid. While I still love both dearly and would love to share both with my own kids one day, it's time to move on.
I wish everyone the best on this beloved website and in life.
