A/N: Hey! I'm back! I have been really busy. I meant to get up a chapter or two after exams, but I never got around to it... So, sorry about making you guys wait for the next chapter. Here's the little ending to the cliff-hanger. Again, sooooo sorry about making you wait. I stayed up until 2 AM to get another chapter ready for you guys; so, another chapter should be up in the next couple days... Maybe.

Computer's Note: Promise?

A/N: No, I don't promise, because I have a couple band things coming up soon, so... Feel free to spam my fanfiction PM box and comments with HURRY UP WITH THE NEXT CHAPTER! And things like that. I won't take offense. I am really sorry about the super long wait, so I'll stop rambling on and let you get to the story.

We kissed for a few seconds before a screen door slammed shut. We both broke apart and I grabbed the item that was on the island. Lucky for me, it was Teagan's forgotten math textbook. I flipped open to a page. Luck was on my side today. I had opened to dividing fractions.

"No, Teagen, you are forgetting the reciprocal. You are multiplying the fractions instead!" I insisted, as if I had been trying to teach him how to actually work out the equation. I glanced at the doorway as Teagen's older sister entered the kitchen. Teagen went along with my ruse.

"What? The reciprocal is the numbers squared, right?" he said, trying to be convincing. I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Teagen, A reciprocal is when you turn the number upside-down. See, like this," also lucky for me, Teagen had left a paper in his textbook. I grabbed the pencil and wrote down a problem. 3/4รท3/8 I used a reciprocal to get 3/4X8/3

"Okay, now you have switched the last fraction, you multiply these numbers, but you can also take off both threes because they are in the different places, right?" I drew a diagonal line through the two threes. "Now that leaves us with..." I prompted.

"8/4, right? And in lowest terms, 2/1 or 2, right?" Teagan smiled, knowing he was right, but keeping up the act until we didn't have to.

"Ya. That's it," I smiled back and set down the text book, "I think you can get these last questions done without me." I smirked and walked around to my own bag to get my own homework. I had some simple questions to fill out about a novel I had recently read. I sat down at the island and started on it. Teagan's sister looked over her brother's shoulder and ruffled his hair. He batted her hand away and she walked out of the kitchen, grabbing an apple on her way out. I folded up my work and put it back into my bag.

"Maybe we should go somewhere else, hey?" Teagen asked and I nodded. He grabbed my hand and we both ran out the door and into the woods surrounding his house. I followed him until we got to a bent tree. Teagen stopped abruptly and I almost ran into him. He started to scale the tree's limbs, and I followed suite. We went up quite far before we stopped and sat on a branch together. I grabbed his t-shirt and pulled him towards myself. He wrapped his arms around me, and we started off were we had finished...
Half an hour later, Teagen dropped me off at my own house. Gwen barked happily and nuzzled Teagen when she got close to him. We said good-bye, and he left again. I smiled as he left. My smile turned into a smirk and I went to text Jenessa and Hannah the details.
The next day at school, I was called down to the office. When I arrived, an official-looking woman and man were standing at the door. As I entered, they watched me walk over to the front desk to say I was called down to the office. The secretary smiled at me and told me that the two people in the office wanted to talk to me about provincials. We exited the office and sat down at a table in the front lobby. "Before we start, you are Rachael Mark, the head of The Tiger Shepherds, right?" the woman asked me and I nodded. "Great, that will make this a lot easier," she noted and shot a meaningful glance at the man seated beside her.

"One time!" he exclaimed and turned his attention back to me as I cocked an eyebrow at his reaction.

"Anyways... We are from the 'Canada's Got Talent' producers, and we finally got a hotel sponsor. You and your band will be staying in Ramada hotels while you are at provincials, and if you get to nationals. And, also, for nationals, if you make it, you will need a new routine. Here are the rules for Provincials. Good luck." With that, the man handed me a paper and the both stood up and left. I walked back to my class and read the rules. Not much was different than before. We were supposed to report to Saskatoon in four days. That would take some planning... Anyways, I would send out an informing e-mail to the group later once I was on a computer. They all would be excited.

When I arrived home, Gwen was pacing at the door, waiting for me. Every once in a while, she would sit down and nose her stomach. She stopped pacing once I entered the house, and started nuzzling me. I patted her and headed to my room, with her trailing behind. I grabbed my laptop and logged onto my Gmail account. I clicked compose and entered all four of my band-mates' e-mails into the 'to:' spot. As the subject, I wrote "Provincials" And quickly typed in my exciting news. It went like this. "Hey, guys! Guess what? We are not going to provincials! He he, just kidding! We were finally told today that we have to be in Saskatoon for provincials in four days! So pack your bags, tell your parents and teachers and grab your Shepherds, because we are going on a road trip!"

The answers came in in a slow trickle. Jenessa, who is usually on her phone, e-mailed me back in less than three minutes. Hannah's response came later. Like half an hour later. Cody's reply came in around the second hour. Teagen, as usual, probably hadn't checked his e-mail. The whole time I was on my computer, Gwen was whimpering and pacing. I let her out into the backyard, thinking she had to relieve herself. She sniffed around for a while a came back in. We both went back downstairs, and Gwen jumped up onto my bed. I rubbed her stomach, thinking that maybe she had some sort of stomach flu, or something along those lines. When my hand passed over some lumps, I started worrying. I grabbed my phone and called up Hannah. I explained all of Gwen's behavior to her, and I could hear Hannah laughing.

"Dustin actually did it! Rach, Gwen's pregnant!" Hannah squealed over the phone and I smiled.

"Well, this could be... Interesting!" I exclaimed and ruffled the fur on Gwen's head. "Did you hear that, girl? You're going to be a mommy!"

Gwen cocked her head at me and I laughed. "You should probably call up Teagen and tell him the news." Hannah advised, and agreed. We said "See you later." and hung up. I dialed Teagen's cellphone and waited for him to answer.

A/N: Okay. There's your new chapter. I'm hoping to do some time skips soon. Just bear with me for the time being.
