Chapter Ten
Mitchie, Shane, and Jason were walking toward Brown's cabin when they run into Alex who was coming from the opposite direction.
"Hey Alex," Mitchie greeted
"Hey Mitchie, Shane, Jason,' he replied.
"Hey," Shane and Jason replied.
"Alex, have you seen Caitlyn's notebook," Mitchie asked.
"Actually I have, I saw in the music room," Alex replied with a smile on his face.
"Music room?" Mitchie blinks her eyes in confused "Isn't Nate there?"
"Yeah," Alex nodded.
"Wait a minute," Shane smirked "You were to one who took Caitlyn's notebook!"
"What!" Mitchie eyes widen "You did that?"
"Yup"
Jason looked at everyone confused "Hey, what's going on here? I'm totally lost here".
Shane pats Jason's back "I tell you later".
Mitchie puts her hands on her hips "You do realizes that Nate like Dana, do you?"
"Yes, but he also like Caitlyn too," Alex added "I want to help him figure out who he really love and go for it," he smiles "He just need a little shove to do, beside did you guys even notices he was jealous when he saw me with Caitlyn?"
Mitchie, Shane, Kevin nodded.
"But," Mitchie blinks her eyes "Wait a minute! Why would Nate be jealous of you and Caitlyn when you guys are cousin".
"COUSIN!" Shane and Jason exclaimed in shock and surprised.
Alex shushes them and looked around if anyone heard them "Look, Nate doesn't know I'm her cousin and I want to keep that way so don't tell Nate" he told them.
"So that why Nate is jealous," Mitchie finally understand "He doesn't know you Caitlyn's cousin," she nodded "Nice one!"
"Exactly and thank to my plan, it prove that Nate like Caitlyn more than that Dana girl," Alex told them.
Mitchie sighs "Okay, I won't stopped from doing what you are planning to do with Nate and Caitlyn, but," she points her finger at Alex "If Caitlyn get heartbroken I will hunt you down and hurt you," she warned.
Shane snorts "I would tick her off if I were you".
"Okay," Alex held his hands up in defeat "I got your message already, let's go shall we?"
Alex left with Mitchie, Shane and Jason following behind.

For the past few, Nate was not seen watching Dana from Camp Star. He hanging out more with Caitlyn according to what Alex have been seeing. His plan has been working perfectly. Nate still didn't know that Alex was Caitlyn cousin. He was still jealous everything time he spotted Caitlyn with Alex. Alex would purposely kiss Caitlyn on the head and Nate would excuse himself and left outside for fresh air.

Nate is now at his favorite spot near the lake, playing his guitar when Caitlyn show up. He was playing the song "Introducing me" which he originally thought about writing for Dana, but now he was starting to change his mind. For the times he was spending with Caitlyn, he felt more like himself and there was no pressure from her like asking him to tell her about himself. It like she want him tell her when he's ready.
"Hey Nate," a familiar voice called out.
He looked up and smiles "Hey Caitlyn," he stopped playing his guitar and pat the ground next to him "There is room here if you want to join me".
"Okay," she smiles, walked over and sat next him leaning against the tree "So, are you writing a song?"
"Yeah," he nodded "Do you want to hear it?"
"Is it okay for me to hear it?" she asked, knowing that the song is probably meant for someone else.
"I want you to be first to hear," he unexpectedly said.
She looked at him in shock, "Me?" she pointed to herself.
He nodded "What do you say? Would hear my play my song," he nervously asked.
Caitlyn can't believe that Nate want to play song for her which was surprising to her "Sure, I would love to hear it," she smiled.
Nate beamed when he heard her reply "Okay, I already finishing writing the song, so tell me what you think of it," he said before playing his guitar.
I'm, I'm good at wasting time
I think lyrics need to rhyme

But I'm trying to grow a mustache
Caitlyn smiles when Nate make a face when he said the word "mustache". She has to admit it but he has an amazing singing voice.
I eat cheese, but only on pizza, please
And sometimes on a homemade quesadilla
Otherwise it smells like feet to me
Caitlyn can't but laugh out loud. Nate was happy to see Caitlyn smiling and laughing, which enjoy seeing on her face.
And I, I really like it when the moon looks like a toenail
And I love you when you say my name

Nate pick up his pace playing on his guitar and singing a little bit fast. Caitlyn smile wider and chuckles.

Nate stops playing and stare at Caitlyn who was smiling
"That's was great!" she remarked with a smile when she notices that he was staring at her. Before she can react to what was about to happen next, Nate grabs her face and kisses her on the lips.
Caitlyn eyes widen in shock as she realizes that Nate was kissing her on the lips. Automatically, she wrapped her arms around neck, pulling him close to her and respond back to kiss.
Nate was surprises that he kissed Caitlyn. He couldn't stop himself from kissing her because he have been wanted to kiss her. When he kissed her, he notices that she didn't respond back and assume that she didn't felt the same way. All the doubt went away when he felt her respond back and wrapped her arm around neck, pulling him close to her. He also wrapped his arms around her body and deepen the kiss showing her how he felt.
The kiss didn't last long when they pulled away for air. He looked at her and notices she was looking at him. He smiles and touches her arms when suddenly she pull away.
"Um, I gotta go, Mitchie is probably looking for me," she told him before she left, leaving him confused.
He got up, holding his guitar in his hand wondering if he did something wrong or did he made Caitlyn upset?
TBC: Yes finally Nate and Caitlyn kissed. The question is will they be okay?
