Chapter 10

As Serenity began to stir from her sleep Seto sighed in relief. "I'm glad your finally awake." Seto said smiling and kissed her. Serenity sat up and looked around. "Are we at the Palace?" she asked rubbing her eyes to get rid of the sleep. Seto nodded as he began to lay to next her. Serenity layed back down then asked what was their next step. He shrugged as rapped an arm around her and hugged her close.

Serenity in Kisara's body began to feel protected in his arms. She had missed him so much she wished they could stay like that forever. "Right now, I'm just glad your safe." Seto said as he began kissing her and smelt her her hair.

All of a sudden there was a knock at the door interrupting their moment. Seto got up and hid Serenity under the bed then answered the door. Seto frowned when he Akadin and said "What do you want father?" Seto wasn't too pleased to see the man who tried to endanger Serenity. He wanted to attack him but controlled himself

The old man entered the room and said "We need to devise a plan to get rid of the Pharaoh so that you may rule." Seto closed the door and crossed his arms.

As Serenity listened she began to panic on the situation. "I have already told you that will not do what you want, I want to serve the Pharaoh and that is final." Akandin began to get angry and gripped Seto's arm. He didn't understand why his son didn't accept his destiny.

As began to look him in the eyes Akandin said "Seto, you could become a greater Pharaoh and we could rule Egypt together." Seto shook his head denying the answer again. Seto made him let go of his arm and gave him a death glare that shook the old man to the core.

Scaring the man made Seto have the floor of the conversation. "Father, you don't want me to rule Egypt, being Pharaoh is your desire and if you were Pharaoh, you would send Egypt into great peril and if you ruled all of Egypt it would turn into wasteful land of sorrow ant it wouldn't be called a land anymore, it would be noting but dust and all you want to do is to send it to it's grave and if that person ruled Egypt , he wouldn't even be called a Pharaoh."

Akandin was flabbergasted at his son's speech and felt insulted as well as angry. He then walked to the door and said "It's too bad you feel that way son cause when the Pharaoh falls to his death I'll make sure you go with him and you will be with your mother yet again like you have always dreamed." Seto crossed his arms .

Seto looked into the old man's eyes and said "Fine, I don't care if I die but When I die I'm taking you with me to make sure you don't harm the Pharaoh at all!"

After Akandin left Serenity came out of hiding and said "Oh Seto, what are we going to do?" Seto hugged her tightly to him to calm her down and began thinking of a way to warn Yugi.

Meanwhile in the Throne Room Joey began to explain everything he discovered in Akandin's room. "I'm telling you Yugi that room is going to give me nightmares when we get back to our time." Yugi sighed and wished that they could rap this situation up but time was not on their side.

All of a sudden Seto and Kisara entered the room. "Yugi, we need a new strategy, as of right now that old man is planning both our deaths!"

When the two of them entered Joey ran up to Kisara and hugged her. "Oh Ren, I'm sorry this happened to you but don't worry Yugi, Kaiba, and I are going to save you from this." Serenity hugged her brother tightly and let go.

She couldn't explain how much she missed everyone but was glad she wasn't going to be stuck in the past alone anymore. Yugi began to think of a new plan. Now that they were all together they need to get out of Ancient Egypt but since the Pharaoh wasn't married to Teena yet they still needed to stay. Yugi sighed and said "I'm afraid we're not done here yet, in order to make sure this doesn't happen again we need to change fate." Joey and Serenity looked at each other and waited for Yugi to continue.

Yugi then began again "In order to change fate we need to save Kisara from her death as well as to get Teena with the Pharaoh." They all nodded but Seto wondered how they were going to take care of Akandin for good.
