Morning had already came as the city started to wake up from its slumber.

The destruction from yesterday could still be seen as buildings were slowly being repaired by volunteers and adventurers alike.

In the basement of the abandoned church, three figures were seen in the room, two of them were still sleeping soundly.

Shouji had already woke up, and was struggling to wake up as his body was hurting all over.

Taking a few minutes, he managed to get off the bed as he tried to brush his teeth, which he had realized that he couldn't.

"(Damn... now that I think about it...how do I pee...)"

The boy looked at the two sleeping figures, "(They're still sleeping... now...there's no way I let Hestia help me... so it's Bell, then?... kuh! Fight the shame, fight the shame...)"

He never thought that there would be a day, that he would need someone to help him, like taking a pee, since his hands were broken.

The sound of the church's rooftop being hit by the rain, and the sound of water leaking from the rooftop seemed to make a good music to Shouji's ears as he was currently alone, and bored.

At the Twilight Manor, Loki was having a discussion with her familia as to the events that had happened yesterday.

The emergence of a powerful monster in Orario, the attack on the 18th floor safe point, which Finn's team had managed to defend.

There was also the emergence of a 'creature', which looked like a female human, and was very strong, that it took teamworks to drive the female away.

Loki was having a headache thinking about this problems that were starting to get more frequent, and she was worried about her familia.

It was true that being an adventurers meant that they would embrace dead at any time, but Loki wanted to avoid that, because she loved her familia very much.

"Someone is planning something... striking when the securities at its weakest. The mysterious fetus crystal... where it came from. Then, there's that female creature that ate a magic stone. We used magic stone as a power source by extracting the energy inside it, and the female use the magic stone as a mean to get stronger..." Finn said as he shared the information that he had gathered.

"We had investigated the possible places where the plant monster came from..." Finn said, looking at the entire member's faces.

Then, he focused his attention to Bete and Gareth, "I heard you guys were struggling to beat the plant monster yesterday."

"Yeah, it was pretty strong..." Bete said in an irritated voice.

Finn thought for awhile before continuing, "There was only one that showed up, so I guess, it must be the main attacking force, while we had managed to intercept its followers."

The discussion was mostly about what, how, where, and how to solve it.

With the discussion ending, Loki had ordered Lefiya to run an errand for her, to buy some elixirs for the two boys that had helped with the battle yesterday.

Debt should be payed back, Loki thought to herself.

Oddly enough, Bete had decided to accompany Lefiya with Loki's errand.

--New Scene--

"So he's at home, right now?" Hephaistos asked as she looked at the many papers on her table.

The stacks of papers were evident enough, showing how busy she was, or maybe how many request she had as her familia was pretty well known.

Standing in front of her was Hestia, in her working uniform as she needed to work to pay for the Hestia knife.

"Yes... it will take him 3 to 4 weeks maybe to recover..." Hestia said, feeling sad about one of her familia got injured.

And to add, she couldn't do anything about it, since she was pretty much penniless.

If only she had valis, she could buy an elixir to heal his body instantly, but that was an impossible feat for her.

Nevertheless, she was glad that he was still alive.

Hephaistos brought Hestia back, "So? How about Bell? He's still alive, right?"

"Em! You know! He beat three monsters! He was so fast! That time, he just slice the monster like butter-"

Hephaistos interjected, "Don't forget to pay. Be grateful I've created that knife for him."

"Mu-mu-mu..."

And Hestia went back to her work, tending to the inflow of customers.

Bell had just came out of the Dungeon, sweat had drenched his clothes as he greeted the sunshine lighting his whole figure.

The rain had already stopped when Bell had came out of the Dungeon.

He walked towards the street that he had already remembered in his head, a stall where flowers were being sold on his left, a stall where weapons and armors were being sold on his right, and so many things, which never made a dull sight.

"(...maybe I should buy something for Goddess and Shouji!)"

He searched for a stall, where common items were being sold.

Items like bracelets, necklaces, earrings, wooden carvings... he tried to search for something suitable.

It had been how many days already, and Bell would like to give some gifts to commemorate their familia, Hestia's care and Shouji's guidance in the familia.

He wanted to show how grateful he was, being accepted, making a close friend with someone after the death of his grandfather.

"(Grandpa... I'm happy right here... a place where I belong...)"

*collide*

"Ah! I'm sorry! Are you alright!"

Bell looked at the male in front of him, "I-It's my fault for not looking!" Bell said as he bowed down.

The man grabbed Bell's left shoulder, giving him assurance that he was not mad.

"By the way, the name's Welf Crozzo."

"Ah! Bell, Bell Cranell! Nice to meet you Crozzo-san!"

"Um... just Welf is fine." He said as he surveyed their surrounding, feeling glad that no one was looking at their direction.

"Well, then! Got to go." Welf said.

"Ah, ok."

With that, Bell continued onwards for his shopping.

Bell saw the Benevolent Mistress in the distance, which had a decent amount of customers that went there as he could see many adventurers, mostly male.

He saw Syr at at the entrance, and proceeded to give back the lunchbox.

"Hai, Syr."

"Oh? Bell! You're back!"

Bell gave the lunchbox back to Syr, "Thanks for the food. It was yummy." He took out something, "For you, as an appreciation for the lunchbox." He said, while smiling.

"Oh.. t-thanks, Bell." Syr said, embarrassed, but happy.

"Yo, newbie boy!" Said a voice, Gaining Bell and Syr's attention.

Looking at the source, they were Bete and Lefiya.

Immediately, Lefiya gave Bell a bag, and inside there were two elixirs.

Bell almost had a heart attack as he saw the expensive potion, confusion sets in as he looked at the two.

"Our Goddess decided to pay you up for helping us yesterday. Beside, the other could use that elixir, or he would like to stay on the bed." Bete said with his arms crossed.

"I-I'm grateful for this! Thank you! Thank you very much!" Bell said as he bowed his head down to the two.

"It's alright." Lefiya said.

"C'mon Lefiya, we got to go." Bete spoke.

With an elixir, Shouji could be healed, and feeling excited, Bell was ready to go.

"Wait, Bell!"

Bell turned towards the owner of the voice, which was Syr herself.

Syr went inside of the bar, and after a few minutes, she brought another lunchbox.

"For Shouji."

"Okay!"

Shouji looked at the ceiling as he had already woke up from his short sleep.

"(Huuu... maybe I should meditate?)"

He breathe in, and breathe out as he leaned his back at the top of the bed, that was close to the wall.

After a series of breathing session, he could feel his senses became more sensitive as the oxygen were being supplied efficiently inside his blood stream.

"Shouji!!"

His heart rate spike to its peak as he was startled by the sound of Bell's voice.

"Oi Bell! You nearly give me a heart attack!" Shouji hissed.

"S-sorry-wait! Forget about that! I have good news! Here, look!" He showed Shouji the two elixir, which Shouji reacted by widening his eyes.

"(Wow... it's like perfume bottle with intricate design. Yes!! I will not be in shame for 3 to 4 weeks!!)"

Bell helped to pour the elixir in Shouji's mouth as he could feel his bones and ribs recovering at a fast rate.

Immediately, he grabbed the elixir from Bell, and took it away.

Confusion could be seen on Bell's face, so Shouji explained, "I'm healed up already. Look." He moved both of his hands, and touched his chest to feel any ribs that were not healed. "Since my body is fully heal, we must not waste this precious elixir. Even a tiny drop, got it?"

"Oh." Bell nodded his head in agreement.

"So where did you get the elixir? Don't tell me you steal it?"

"I got it from the Loki familia. Ah, almost forgot. Here." Bell took out the lunchbox. "Syr made it."

"Oh?"

"And this!" Bell said, showing a fox carving necklace.

"I want to give you a gift, since I'm grateful for your help in here. It was only me and Hestia here before, and I don't have someone of the same gender to talk to, much less-"

"Don't need the long speech, Bell. We're buddies, and I'm happy for the gift, so... fist bump?"

Shouji held his fist, waiting for Bell to bump his fist against his, which Bell did so.

Shouji had equipped himself as he was preparing to go out of Orario.

"Where are you going?" Bell asked.

They were back from their hunt, but unfortunately, luck were not on their side.

They only managed to find some fruits.

And so, they had decided to go to the Benevolent Mistress.

And it was at that time, Shouji tried to take out his valis, which was gone.

"(...again?)" He sighed, garnering Bell's attention.

He never would have thought to be robbed once again.

In his life, he had never been robbed before, twice even.

In fact, this world's laws were not pretty well enforced.

Casting that aside, both boys went into the bar, customers filled up the places, cheers and incoherent words were being exchanged as a few of the customers were drunk.

With that, both their dishes were served, and Ahnya showed both of them the prices.

Bell took out his valis, and payed, since Shouji had been robbed of his valis.

It was at that time, Ryuu decided to sit next to Shouji, "You're fine?"

"Yes, I'm fine." Shouji replied.

"Is that so..." Ryuu said, before she walked back into the kitchen.

Even if her words were a few, he knew that she was worried about him... maybe.

Bell and Shouji enjoyed the noisy places, as they had finished their foods.

After buying a take out meal, they went to the Guild to let Bell exchanged his spoils.

Nothing eventful had happened, which was quite good, and they finally arrived at the Guild.

Walking inside, it was almost empty, but they could see Eina at one of the counter.

Eina saw the both of them, as she hurried to their side.

"S-Shouji!? Are you sure you should walk right now!? Didn't you have injuries!?"

"Got me some elixir from Loki familia, and here I am, all healed up."

"Oh? Good for you then, Shouji."

Bell joined the two after he exchanged his spoils, "7700 valis."

Immediately, Eina switched to advisor mode as she asked Bell what he did in the Dungeon today.

And a sudden scream from Eina almost made Shouji had a heart attack.

He was not fond of loud shout.

"You went to the seventh floor!!? Are you suicidal!!?"

At that time, Shouji thought that he was familiar with this scene, but which episode?

"Um... six?" He said as he remebered running there with Ryuu to save Bell.

"I mean, after you have become an adventurer." Eina asked again.

"Oh... four." Shouji stated.

"Well, that's good." Eina said in contempt. "As for you Bell..." Eina said as she looked at the white haired boy.

Bell prepared himself.

"I guess you can go into the 7th floor-"

Bell smiled.

"-But! First, let's buy some armor tomorrow. I mean, look at you two. Armor are an essential parts for adventurers to survive in the Dungeon, so, let's meet at the fountain, alright."

Both boys nodded their head.

Like always, Shouji was still awake, thinking what he should do tomorrow.

Now, he reminded himself to bring only the necessary amount of valis, since he was being robbed already, and it was painful, thinking all of that hard work, magically disappeared.

Memory locked, valis gone, slapped by a strong monster, but hey, he was still alive.

Maybe he should have just became a dish washer.

He didn't know how many days he had been in this world, and in fact, he felt that he was not that emotional anymore about home.

Yes, he missed his home, but not so much, since this world would become his second home.

With that, he thought about what tomorrow had in store for him.

At a forge in a shop, a red hair boy was shaping a hot iron with his hammer, as sweats fell down on the dusty floor.

*slam* *slam* *slam*

Apparently, the red hair boy didn't seem to notice someone watching him.

It was Hephaistos.

"Still not finish?" Hephaistos said as she looked at the boy.

She sighed, and left the boy alone.
