A/n: i hope you enjoyed last chapter, it was kinda sad, and we got to see how Danny and Paulina began, and we know how they ended, so yeah. How would you guys feel about a chapter seeing what Paulina is up to... Let me know. this chapter is kinda of a filler chapter, so sorry, next chapter will be longer, and better. Well why don't we get this started.

Chapter 10: double date

Over looker's

After a bit of crying, found Danny and sam back on the dance floor lost in there own little world.

"Ginge, bob" came a voice as sam scowled at it.

"I was looking about for the two of you, and her you two lovebirds are dancing the night away."

"Hi brittany" Danny greeted as sam simply sarcastically waved.

"Ive been doing a bit of thinking, and i thought that you to, and my lovely hubby could get a bite to eat, like a double date."

The girl said just as cheery and as bubbly as ever, as Danny and sam looked at each other awkwardly both blushing, before answering.

"Sure we'd, uh love to" stated Danny awkwardly.

"Yay, i knew you too would come" said the bubbly girl Before skipping off... Literally.

"She's something huh sam" Danny inquired staring after brittany.

"Oh she's something alright" replied the goth annoyed.

the pair had planned to go on a double date, with the couple, the only problem was they weren't a couple, and neither of them had been in many relationships, so they didn't really know how to fake it.

Danny hadn't really been anyone other than Paulina, and that was hardly a normal relationship, with Paulina's drinking cheating, and drug use, and cheating to use drugs, and drink, yeah that was a bad relationship, Danny only wished he saw it sooner. as for sam she had been with a business man named elliot, and it went well for a bit, until he found out she was a stripper then everything, went to shit. so that was that, neither of them really knew if they could be a couple, even if it was just pretend.

but they also both wanted to take down Vlad, and if this is what they had to do, to get the mission done then so be it, they were ready and willing. after all the pain and suffering Vlad, had caused, it be nice to see justice, for the both of them.

the pair had decided to go to an opera with the couple, and Danny was currently waiting for sam to come out. a couple minutes later the girl, stepped out in a long dark violet strapless dress with a risky split up the side.

her short hair was straightened and flipped out, and her normal make up was done, she looked beautiful, but then again Danny thought she always looked beautiful.

"you look mighty fine ginger" the boy said as he stood, up from the bed smoothing out his tux his goofy smile on his face, in his fake southern accent. sam giggled a bit as, stepped ahead of her, and opened the door.

"madam's first" the boy said in the same terrible southern accent, as he held the door for sam. the girl rolled her eyes pushed, him playfully. the two then walked out of there hotel room hand in hand.

"bob ginge" came a shrill of a voice, as brittany came running towards, Danny and sam, leaving her husband, in the line for the opera tickets. the girl tackled sam with a hug, much to sam's chagrin of course, but the girl just let the other girl hug, her despite her obvious annoyance, that Brittany was somehow oblivious to.

eventually the painful hug was over, and Brittany led sam and Danny towards the opera, line effectively cutting everyone behind where,brittany and Thomas. eventually the pair had collected there tickets and were seated and awaiting the opera.

sam thought about her first opera , she had been three and the whole thing had been in french. despite the fact she couldn't understand it, the girl had thoroughly loved it. but that had been practically a different life.

she wasn't that little girl anymore, no matter how much she desperately wanted to be, or at least some part of her did. despite sam's gothic nature she had to admit, in that life she loved opera's, the sure beauty of them. this fact even promoted her to learn french and Italian just to be able to more thoroughly enjoy them.

then again this too had been a lifetime hadn't even thought about opera's in quite sometimes, not that the girl had the means to go, anyhow these-days.

Danny on the other hand growing up with a middle class family, had never been to an opera, and was actually quite annoyed about the whole ordeal. the closest he had been to going to an opera was a play at casper high, and the only reason he went was because he was in it, forcefully, on might add.

his teacher decided, it would be a great idea to help Danny learn Shakespeare better, if he were to be casted as macbeth in the upcoming school play. Danny needless to say was mortified, and never the less, with the help of tucker the boy learned all his lines, and was an at best decent actor.

but of course, that's a completely another story. this particular evening, had the boy on a fake double date, pouting waiting for the opera to start, with an anxious sam at his side. soon enough the lights dulled, signaling it was time for the opera to start, and effectively shutting up brittany's rambling that the fake couple had long ago tuned out.

the opera had been a surprise to both Danny and sam. for sam it reminded her of simpler times, and made her quite content for the duration of the performance. on the other hand Danny was completely lost, and mentally complaining the entire time, he dreaded having to talk about it later.

"what'd ya think" inquired Brittany to the couple. Danny and sam looked at each other, unsure of how exactly to answer. in there eye contact, it was decided that sam would answer, since she understood the show better.

"it was very interesting" sam said, trying to sound like she was neutral about the performance.

"oh" Brittany said sadly, hurt that sam or rather ginger hadn't liked the show. Thomas gently patted her on the back.

"wife" the man said stiffly, as he got up and began to walk signaling brittany to follow. the girl did so. once the other couple was out of ear shot, Danny and sam both breathed a sigh they had gotten through, there first double date.

a/n: yah i know not a very good chapter i did my best, i'm not good at writing out dates, especially fake ones, it's a work in progress i suppose, next chapter will be longer. i just thought i'd make a date chapter.
