"Well, you're fucked," Jeff finally chuckled, breaking the silence. It was then followed by Ben punching his gut. Jeff hunched over in a coughing fit as Ben rolled his eyes.
"We'll figure something out, don't worry about it," Ben said, facing me. "For now, we will just have to keep you hidden as long as we can, then reveal you to the pastas."
"What about Slender?" I asked, knowing deep down that I would more than likely die at the end of this.
"I'll deal with Slender. With our story, you have until the snow settles in the winter. Then... well, we'll just have to think of something else," he sighed.
"The only thing that made Laughing Jack believe I was a creepypasta was my hair, Ben. That means I'll need you," I growled, pointing at Jeff, "to keep me stocked up on hair dye. I'll make sure to give you all the details and shit about it before I send you off."
"Wait, why the fuck do I have to do it?" Jeff hissed, crossing his arms in front of his chest.
"If you haven't forgotten, Smile boy, you killed my best friend. You are now my slave," I grinned, causing Ben to muffle a laugh.
"She has a point dude-"
"Shut it you fucking dwarf!"
"God, you two act like a married couple," I murmured, walking over and plopping down on the bean bag chair. "One of you fuck heads come over and play videogames with me."
"Well, someone's in a pissy mood," Ben snorted, walking over and sitting down next to me. He adjusted his little elf hat once more before grabbing a couple of controllers. "You gonna play, Jeff?" he asked, looking over at him.
Jeff tried to purse his lips, but it came out looking more like a fucked up grin as always. "Nah, it's fine. I'm just going to go get something to eat and try to keep LJ away," he replied, shrugging his shoulders.
With that, he turned and left, leaving Ben and I alone once more. Once the door shut, Ben handed me my controller, flipping on the TV. We began playing in an instant, as I fell into my gaming mode. I let myself forget everything that has happened. The face that my best friend was killed in front of me by a guy... that I now basically treated as a friend. Which was very fucked up. The fact that I was now secretly living in a house full of strange killers. The fact that I have already been witnessed by a crazy, monochrome clown. And that I was going to have to pretend that I am one of them with strange ice powers. Yeah, my life was totally normal and great. Nothing to worry about at all. Maybe I just have schizophrenia or something. Nope, couldn't be that simple.
"So, Ben," I started, trying to make conversation during our game.
"What?" he growled, baring his teeth as he fought against me.
"I don't know."
"Damn it, stop distracting me, Winter!"
"Come make me, pony boy."
"Pony boy?"
"Yeah, it was from some movie or something. I think it was called The Outsiders."
"How does that make any sense?" Ben growled, slowly dying as I destroyed him.
"It doesn't," I replied, cracking a grin as I watched my tactic slowly working.
Ben didn't reply, trying to focus more on the game. I began to shift where I sat, moving my shoulders side to side in a slow swivel motion. It looked sort of like a dance move. I saw Ben look over at me out of the corner of my eye as I continued to move this way.
"Alright, what are you doing?" he murmured, still trying to focus.
"Noodling. You got a problem with it?" I replied, grinning ear from ear.
"Noodling?"
"Yeah. I'm being a fucking noodle."
I beat him in an instant, looking over at him with a triumphant smirk. His mouth was hanging open, his eyes wide and disturbed. "Seriously. What it wrong with you?" he asked, shaking his head.
"Lots of things. Then again, you're asking me that, elf boy?" I sneered, throwing my controller to the ground.
"Watch it. I believe we've had this conversation before," he mumbled, standing up.
"Yep, you always comment on how abnormal I am when you are pretty abnormal yourself. That was just making you lose focus so I could kick your ass, though," I giggled.
"Yeah, yeah."
"So, Benny boy. I have a question," I started, rolling over on the bean bag so I was on my stomach.
"Shoot."
"What happened to make you one of these creepypasta dudes?" I asked, my icy eyes turning serious as I stared up at him.
Ben paused, his red pupils dropping to the floor. I could see the blood beginning to gather underneath his black eyes. He sat down in front of me, crossing his legs in front of him.
"That's kind of a long story, Winter," he mumbled, staring back at me.
Well, this was probably the most serious both of us have been since we've met. It must have been pretty... bad. Well, yeah, it turned him into a killer elf. That can't be good no matter what way it can go.
"Well, I have time," I replied, offering a small smile. "And you know I have a shit ton of it, stuck in your room," I giggled.
"It's not the happiest of stories, either," he warned, a small smile lighting his face as well.
"I can take it," I chuckled. "I mean, after all, you're sitting in front of me, right? Can't end with your death," I snorted.
A laugh exploded out of Ben's mouth as he shook as his head. Once his laughter quieted down, he simply paused for a moment before replying.
"You sure about that, sweet cheeks?"
