"Finally, we made it. To Celadon City!" Makuson exclaimed.
"And it didnt take too long to get here," Matt said. They all heard a loud noise, it sounded like an RPG firing.
"They followed us?" Makuson screamed.
"No, look in the sky." Bolt said while pointing at fireworks.
"Oh its beautiful!" Misty exclaimed.
"Yea Yea Yea, lets get going to the pokemon center!" Makuson said while walking away. Matt soon followed, and after that, Bolt followed. Misty stayed there and stared.
"Arent they amazing?" Misty asked.
"Hello? Oh they left did they! Stupid boys!" Misty screamed. Soon enough, Misty caught up to the three. And after a few hits with her mallet, they made it to the Pokemon Center. All four of them handed Nurse Joy their pokeballs, and they went to sit down in some of the chairs that were sitting in the Pokemon Center. After a few minutes,
the four recieved their pokeballs and headed towards the gym.
"So Makuson, have a stratedgy this time?" Misty asked with an evil grin.
"I won my last three battles, including me beating you, I dont need a stratedgy!" Makuson bragged showing his badges.
"And so did I!" Matt said.
"I think ill use my Ninetales for this gym." Matt exclaimed.
"And ill use my squirtle!" Makuson said.
"That wouldn't be smart." Bolt said.
"Yea, he's got a point." Misty said.
"Makuson, if you use water against grass, itll do nothing but water it; you should use a pokemon like Graveler, its not super affective, but its not as unaffective either"
Matt said.
"Fine Fine, ill use my graveler." Makuson said. They then made it to the Celadon gym, and walked inside.
"Do you like perfume?" A women asked from the left.
"Yea, It attracts the ladies!" Bolt said.
"Its fine." Matt said.
"Its amazing!" Misty said.
"Hey Matt, whats perfume?" Makuson whispered to Matt.
"Just say yes." Matt said while punching Makuson in the head.
"Uh, sure." Makuson said grogily.
"Then you are permitted to come in and challenge our leader!" A different girl exclaimed from the right.
"How wierd, what does perfume have to do with a gym battle?" Matt whispered to the other three just quiet enough so only they could hear it.
"Who knows, who cares, lets just get our badges!" Makuson exclaimed. They then made it to a large room that looked like a Greenhouse, and the gym leader appeared.
"I am Erika, and this battle will consist of two pokemon." the gym leader Erika stated.
"Then we'll fight together." Matt said referring to Makuson and himself.
"Very well, I will take you both on, by myself!" Erika exclaimed.
"You sure about that? It will be to easy!" Makuson said.
"You'll see." Erika exclaimed.
"Let the battle begin!" The referee yelled.
"Go Graveler!" Makuson commanded.
"Go Ninetales!" Matt Orderd.
"Go Gloom, Go Vileplume!" Erika commanded
"Let the battle begin!" The referee stated.
"Ninetales, Flamethrower!" Matt commanded. Immediatly the ninetales used a flamethrower on Vileplume and Gloom, Vileplume managed to jump away, but gloom got caught in the fire.
"Gloom has Fainted!" The referee said.
"Return!" Erika said.
"See?" Makuson said.
"You wish, Vileplume Solarbeam!" Erika commanded. The pokemon began to charge up its solarbeam attack.
"We have to stop it, Graveler, Rockthrow!" Makuson commanded. It then picked up a rock and launched it at the Vileplume. Before it could it, the solarbeam shot through the thrown rock and hit graveler.
"Direct hit!" Erika cheered.
"Damnit!" Makuson said while returning graveler.
"You did a good job..." Makuson said to the pokeball.
"Ninetales, Double team!" Matt commanded. Ninetales then split into many Ninetales, and they all opened their mouths preparing flamethrowers.
"Vileplume, jump up and use stunspore!" Erika commanded worried. But before the Vileplume could react, ninetales fired.
"Ninetales, Flamethrower!" Matt screamed. The flames came from all directions about to hit the vileplume.
"NO!" Erika screamed. The flames then hit the vileplume.
"Vileplume has fainted, the visitors have won the battle!" The referee stated.
"YEA!" Makuson and Matt screamed.
"Good job ninetales, Return!" Matt said while returning his ninetales.
"I believe this is yours," Erika said holding a case containing two gym badges. Makuson and Matt then took the badges.
"Yes, our fourth badge!" Makuson and Matt said in unison.
"Were halfway there!" Matt said.
"And getting closer every second!" Makuson added.
"Their very happy," Bolt said.
"Better then them whining." Misty said. The two began to laugh while Matt and Makuson continued to cheer for themselves. After they left the gym, Misty remembered something.
"Oh yea, I bought perfume!" Misty exclaimed.
"Oh great," Matt said sarcastically. Misty then glared at him and slowly pulled out her mallet.
"I Mean, Oh Great!" Matt said fearing the mallet.
"Whats perfume?" Makuson asked.
"Just see," Misty said while spraying perfume in Makuson's face. Makuson then sniffed it, and quickly covered his nose.
"That stuff smells horrible!" Makuson yelled.
"Hey, I payed good money for this stuff!" Misty yelled. She then pulled out her mallet and whacked Makuson in the back of the head.
"AHHHH" Makuson screamed flying towards the next city.
"Uh..." Bolt said trying to think of words.
"Lets just get going," Matt said. The three began to run, following a flying Makuson.
"Oh No, he's heading for that sig-" Before Bolt could finish, they all heard a loud noise of Makuson's head banging against metal.
"Too late," Matt said.
"He deserved it!" Misty said
"Lets just go!" Matt said. The three then helped Makuson from out of the sign.
"Agh" Makuson said. Bolt and Matt then helped Makuson stand, while Misty went off to the next town.
"Lets get going," Matt said again. The four then headed off to the next town, Fuschia City.
