Star's Keyblade4114: Yeah…I guess it was more than a simple filler, huh?
InfiniteClockWise: Right. Good to know. Keep reading, friend.
Tyrone666: More is coming, friend.
Enjoy the next chapter.
Marco sat on the bed, his head down. He looked up with narrowed eyes at the pale moon. He looked back and saw Star sleeping, her hair brushed over her face. Sighing, he stood up and walked over to the window, "Death," he looked at his reflection in the window as it was slowly replaced with a skeletal figure, "I'm guessing you saw that display earlier,"
"Indeed I did, my young apprentice, but why are you calling on me now?"
"I need to take care of them. I don't want Tom, Janna and especially Star to know about this. The less they know about me killing my family, the better," Marco sighed and shook his head before looking back at the sleeping young woman again, "I can't wait for the trumpets to sound and I can't wait for their sand to run out."
"Something else is troubling your young mind. What is it?" Marco narrowed his eyes and shook his head, "I am simply offering some assistance, as well as voicing my concern."
"I'm just…worried," Marco looked back at the skeletal figure, "I know it won't happen just yet, but when…me and Star have kids I…look, I need to take care of this. They've had this coming for a long time and I…damnit, Death,"
"No Marco, you cannot go and kill them," Death explained, "I know it's hard, my young apprentice, but if you act on those thoughts, you'll bring on many trials."
"Death, those three are the most heartless people in all of Echo Creek and-"
"You needn't worry about them for much longer," Marco frowned and Death took a deep breath, "Their sands are going to run out before the trumpets begin to sound. If you kill them before their time, you'll throw off the flow of live and death."
"And if I try to do something, all hell will break loose," Death simply nodded, "Thanks anyway,"
"Marco," he looked back and saw Star sitting up as she moaned and rubbed her eyes, "Come back to bed. It's late," Marco frowned and Star looked at him, "And who are you talking to?"
Marco sighed and shook his head, "Death…I…was asking about-"
"Your parents and sister?" Marco frowned and slowly nodded, "Marco, we've talked about his before. You can't go out and-"
"I know," Marco took and deep breath and walked over to her, "But Death told me their sands are going to run out soon and…you know, I'm not one to talk about work before going to bed," he sat on the bed and Star frowned as she wrapped her arms around Marco's torso and the two of them laid back down.
Just a moment where Marco talked to his mentor. Things will start to pick up again. Sorry for the delay. Please enjoy everyone and please let me know what everyone thinks.
