Later that night Ron and Harry returned to the Common room and told Yugi Joey and Neville what had happened.

Yugi was relieved that Hermione would be fine. Though it wasn't an hour later before he noticed that there were only a handful of pieces left to put into the puzzle, and by then he was the only student in the Common room.

"Amazing, I'm finally going to complete it!" Yugi stared in shock. He had been working on the puzzle for five years! It took him another fifteen minutes to get all but one piece into place. The last piece of the puzzle was almost as big as his palm with an intricate golden eye carved into it.

Yugi excitedly slid the piece into place with a soft click. He held up the golden upside down pyramid to get a better look, but only a moment after he had placed the last piece in. The Puzzle exploded in a flash of blinding yellow light as an unearthly spectral wind filled the common room, extinguishing the dimming fire and the torches all around the room. Yugi did not notice these things though; the only thing he noticed was that the puzzle was burning. He wanted to drop it, but it was as if the puzzle was stuck in place with glue.

The Golden light continued to fill the room as it was joined by tendrils of dark energy. This dark energy lunged at Yugi but they did not make it anywhere near him before the puzzle glowed even brighter. A large golden eye appeared on Yugi's forehead as blond streaks appeared in his hair and. He seemed taller and he held himself with power and confidence. But, the one thing that made the change obvious was that the short Gryffindor's eyes were now crimson instead of their usual amethyst. This was Yugi, yet was most definitely not. The shadows lunged at this strange person.

The Person held up the puzzle as the golden energy swarmed around him. "Shadows, Be gone! I command you! Return to the Dark Realm from whence you came!" There was a large explosion of energy as the shadows were banished. The energy returned to the puzzle sucking itself back in as If it was never there.

The Person was also gone. The Flames of the torches and in the fire place roared back to life. There was no sign that anything out of the ordinary had ever happened.

Harry sighed having trouble concentrating on his homework. Last night had really freaked him out. Though in retrospect, they had gotten off easy. McGonagall had taken fifteen points from him Ron and Kaiba. But then she awarded them five points each. For surviving, he assumed. But that still meant that Slytherin had lost less points then Gryffindor. At least Hermione would be awake sometime today.

Yugi was relieved to hear that Hermione was fine. But he was still rather angry at Ron. He knew that the other Gryffindor couldn't possibly have known that Hermione was in there too but, it was hard not to be at least a little mad. He had brushed off what had happened with the puzzle last night as a dream. Said puzzle now rested around his neck, held up by a sturdy rope.

"Yugi, Um . . . It's your move." Neville pointed out. He was playing Muggle chess with Yugi; the wizard chess pieces were always too 'helpful' to Neville.

"Huh? Oh right. Sorry Neville, I'm just a little distracted." Yugi sighed turning his attention back to the game board. "Checkmate." He said taking Neville's Queen.

Neville blinked in surprise. "How. ..?" Neville hadn't even seen that coming.

Yugi smiled sheepishly. "I guess I should have warned you, when it comes to games I'm pretty hard to beat. I guess I'm really lucky or something."

Seto was still furious with Ron. Fortunately the red head had managed to evade him ever since the previous night. Seto was spending is free time in the Library or out on the grounds. It was inconvenient that there were so few places for students to spend their free time. Perhaps he'd speak to his head of house about a recreation room or something at a later date.

Despite last night's hysterics Hogwarts had returned to normal.

Okay so I will admit that I shamelessly ripped off Yami's Line from the Pyramid of light movie. Don't kill me! XD Hope you enjoyed Yami's entrance! Anyway, hope ya enjoyed reading!
