A/N: Hey guys. I have been thinking about doing this for a while, but I only decided on it today. I'm not continuing this story. It doesn't have anything to do with with the tributes, I recieved a lot of wonderful tributes, but I mostly just started this story at a wrong period of my life. I'm about to start doing the exams that might give me acess to college in the future, and I'm really sorry, but I can't put this story first. Those exams might decide my future, and I really need to study for them. I loved writing this at first, I really did. But then, it started to be something that I had to do, rather than something that I actually wanted to do. I hope you guys understand, but this was something that I had to do. I have been trying to write a few chapters, but every time I tried, I ended up with a blank page instead of the great chapter that everyone deserves, and I just couldn't handle that. But of course, I won't leave you without anything. Like many of my friends have been doing for their stories, here's a summary of what would have happened in the Games and of course, our Victor. Hope you enjoy it!

The Forty-Fifth Hunger Games

The arena was a carnival. Or rather, an abandoned one.

The tributes started in the main tent. All of them, dressed in colorful clown clothes, wondered what was out there. With the curtain closed, they could not see anything of the rest of the arena. For all they knew, this could be all. In the tent, there was nothing but broken chairs and rests of popcorn, like one of the shows had just ended.

In the middle, there was the Cornucopia. Some of the tributes, like the Careers already had their eyes set on the weapons. Bows, swords, axes, everything that they ever trained with was there. This was their chance. The others were already planning on how to escape from the fight that was about to take place. Or some of them were even brave enough to consider going to the Cornucopia.

Either way, all of them were ready. Ready to face their fate, no matter what it was.

The gong sounded.

Let the Games begin.

Day One: The Bloodbath.

24th: Lucan Brayard, District Nine Male.

It was their plan all along. Ewyllan wanted to join Danica's alliance and she agreed, with only on condition. If Ewyllan got rid of both of his former allies in the bloodbath and proved to Danica that he was capable of killing, then he would have his place by her side.

And that was all he ever wanted. To feel like he belonged somewhere, with someone. Ewyllan was one of the first to reach the Cornucopia, quickly followed by Lucan. The boy from District Nine started searching for a bow and as soon as his back was turned, Ewyllan wasted no time. If he got the first kill of the Games, Danica would be proud of him. He picked up a pair of daggers. This was it.

Ewyllan stabbed Lucan on the back of his neck and then on the back, just to be sure that he was dead. He couldn't risk Lucan surviving and coming after them. The boy from Nine fell to the ground and took one last breath, before Ewyllan slit his throat and finished the job.

If there was one thing that Ewyllan would never forget, was the look of betrayal on his former ally's eyes.

23rd: Ricardo Montoya, District Three Male.

Ricardo couldn't believe what he saw.

Ewyllan wouldn't betray them, would he? There wasn't a chance for betrayal on his alliance. He was the leader, he was in charge. And if Ewyllan killed Lucan, then Ricardo would make sure that he would pay. He picked up a sword standing next to the entrance of the Cornucopia and walked slowly to where Ewyllan was, standing over Lucan's body.

Ricardo couldn't believe that he was such an idiot to trust the volunterr from Eigh. After all, he knew why he volunteered, but Ewyllan never told him his reason. He raised the sword, hoping to make it quick, but it all ended soon. Ricardo felt a sharp pain on his stomach and suddenly, he couldn't breath anymore. He was so busy with trying to kill Ewyllan and avenge Lucan, that he never noticed Danica coming up behind him, sword in hand.

That was Ricardo's mistake. Trusting too much.

22nd: Sylvan Ridgely, District Twelve Male.

He never wanted to murder his fellow tributes, because in a few years, his own daughter could be chosen for the Games in a few years. And he knew that as a father, he wouldn't like to see his daughter die on a screen. He made sure that Albany and Cason were safe, waiting fo him and Mavi outside of this tent, before he rushed to the Cornucopia, with Mavi by his side.

They didn't want to hurt anyone, they just wanted to get supplies for them and the kids. Sylvan decided that they should split, Mavi would get the supplies and he would get the weapons. Sylvan was so determined, that he didn't notice Bastian standing in the shadows with a trident in hand, ready to get a kill. Sylvan was a threat. For Bastian, all threats should be killed in the bloodbath.

So Bastian did what he knew better. With a quick move, his trident found Sylvan's back, but it wasn't enough to kill him. Sylvan punched Bastian and made him stumble back, but the Career was much stronger. He stabbed Sylvan in the neck, more than one time, to the point that his head separated from his shoulders.

It was done. Bastian didn't regret it.

21st: Bastian Barnett, District Four Male.

Mavi witnessed her ally, her fallen friend, die and she couldn't handle it. Not when she knew that because of her plan, a little girl in District Twelve called Juniper had just lost her father. She always hated Careers and after seeing that boy from Four kill Sylvan, she made her choice. She would either kill him, or die trying. She picked up a spear from the ground and ran to Bastian, with all the strenght that she had.

Both of them fell to the floor and for a second, Bastian was confused. A girl from District Nine had attacked him? In front of his allies? He couldn't let that happen. He was the Career leader, and he wouldn't be humilliated by a rat. He grabbed Mavi by her ponytail and dragged her to the middle of the Cornucopia, hoping to make it a long and painful death. He never saw the knife that Mavi had been hiding. In seconds, Mavi got up and stabbed Bastian right between the eyes and watched as he fell over.

She didn't even move. She knew what came next.

20th: Mavi Rivan, District Nine Female.

Mavi didn't move. She knew that after she killeda Career, there wasn't a chance that she was making it out this alive. She gave her life to kill a Career because one Career gone could mean less trouble for Albany and Cason and that also meant that she avenged Sylvan. Mavi had grow to care about them.

Sylvan, Albany, Cason. They were friends, not her allies, and if she could do anything for them before she died, then she would. Mavi knew that if they stayed out of trouble, they could make it far. Albany and Cason were smart and kids and if they were careful, they wouldn't meet with the Careers.

She kneeled when the four Careers reached her, and smiled. Karter moved foward, sabre in hand, and with a quick move, stabbed Mavi throught the heart. Finally, a quick death. That was all that she could ever ask for.

19th: Alina Brenwell, District Eleven Female.

She was alone. Just like she always wanted.

Alina took the knife out of the boy from District Nine's body, and ran like hell, hoping that she could make it out of the tent or to whatever was behind the curtain on the stage, but it was too late. She knew that she was fast, but she could never do better than a Career. When Florian reached her, Alina fought back with the knife that she had. She kicked and kicked, until she actually managed to stab him in the leg.

Florian fell back, but not before he grabbed Alina by her ponytail, and snapped her neck with a quick move of his hand.

18th: Lya Barder, District Ten Female.

Lya's plan was to kill all of them. She would get rid of her allies and then, her path to Victor would be clear. Nothing else would get in her way, not if she could help it. But first, she needed to get something that she could use to kill her allies later. She was so busy searching for the poisons that didn't notice Scarlet coming behind her.

The blonde girl already a tomahawk in end, but she was searching fot some bandages for Florian's leg, since he was hurt in his fight with Alina. But when she saw Lya, Scarlet knew that she couldn't pass up the opportunity. It would be one less person on her way to change District One's image, and prove that not all the girls were blondes that couldn't do anything. Scarlet stabbed her tomahawk through Lya's chest and kicked her body to the ground, leaving it there for the hovercraft to pick.

Day Two

17th: Dargo Burham, District Ten Male.

During the chaos, Dargo never found his allies. He had seen Alabaster and Vesta leave earlier, and he knew that Lya was dead. Dargo had seen her face during the night, when he was hiding in one of the ferris wheel's cabins, but he didn't know what to feel. He never really liked her, but she was his district partner, after all. He was supposed to avenge her death.

It had taken all of his speed to escape the bloodbath with only that small backpack, that contained a pack of something called popcorn and a small knife, which was his most prized price. Dargo was currently resting in a cage, behind the main tent in the Cornucopia. It wasn't the most hidden place, but it was comfortable. That was when he saw them. Alabaster and Vesta, armed to the teeth, walking towards him. For a moment, he was relieved. His allies had found him, and now, there was nothing that could stop them from taking the crown. He got out of the cage, smiling. Dargo never saw it coming when Alabaster walked towards him, and stabbed him in the heart with his sword.

16th: Nadene Travers, District Three Female.

Nadene was happy, for once. She was with her new friends and for once in her life, she actually felt good. They didn't get many supplies from the bloodbath, Tracy had a knife and Everth had a small-sword. Tracy had insisted that she needed a weapon too, but Nadene refused. She knew that if it came down to it, they would protect each other. She didn't need a weapon. They had spent the night on a small tent, called "Miss Robixo's Temple of Destiny." It was a small space, but they were together, and that was all that mattered.

They were packing up their things when Nadene heard them. The Careers, with all of their weapons and mighty skills. They wouldn't stand a chance if the Careers found them. But as soon as they saw each other, Nadene knew what she had to do. She ran to the red-head, that was leading the group, and punched her right in the face, giving Tracy and Everth time to escape. She didn't last much, though, after a blonde girl pushed her to the ground and slit her throat right there. Nadene died happy.

Day Three

15th: Cason Grady, District Six Male.

Cason was starting to think that maybe, just maybe, he didn't have to die. And that he could finally get a friend in the form of Albany. The girl was way too happy, but she did something good to Cason, even if he wasn't sure of what yet. He had only seen her cry once, when Sylvan and Mavi's faces appeared on the sky back in the first day. She was so brave. Cason could only think of ever being like her. They found the girl from Seven in the morning of the third day.

Cason almost thought that she was a mutt, because she was completly covered in the blood, with a butcher knife on her hand. And the closer she got to them, Cason started to get scared. It was only when Jacie lifted her knife, to kill one of them or both, than one of them had a reaction. Scared and shaking, Albany pushed Cason to Jacie, and ran.

She never looked back, not once, not even when the cannon sounded. She was going to make it home, no matter what. She promised it to Sylvan.

Day Four

14th: Alabaster Moniel, District Eleven Male.

He admired Vesta. He admired the fire inside of her, how she managed to stay strong throught all of it. Even when he killed Dargo, right in front of her eyes. Alabaster had to admit that he did in purpose, hoping that Vesta would fight back. That she would react. Do something, really. But she kept quiet, like she always did. Alabaster was annoyed. He wanted her to show him what she could do with all that fire inside of her. It was only after he woke up on the fourth day of the arena, that he realized that he was in trouble. Real trouble. He was trapped in the tent that he and Vesta had been sleeping in, and the tent was on fire.

Alabaster could do nothing but scream while he burned to death, and Vesta watched outside, smirking.

13th: Albany Laudette, District Twelve Female.

She was scared. Albany was scared that if she managed to make it out of the arena, she wouldn't be the same. She wouldn't be the same happy fifteen year old girl that entered the arena, the one that was determined to protect her allies. She was a killer now. A murderer. She had pushed Cason to Jacie, and had left her friend to die. All because she wanted to stay alive. Albany had been hiding in a small tent near the ferris' wheel since Cason's death and for a while, she thought that maybe they all forgot about her. She had heard the cannons, of course, but Albany hadn't seen a tribute in days.

Maybe it would be alright. Maybe she could make it out. That was when she saw him. The clown was standing at the opening of her tent, a curious look on his face, almost innocent. He kept a hand behind his back while he moved towards her, but Albany stayed quiet. She hadn't seen someone in days. She needed a friend. When she was starting to move, the clown revealed the butcher's knife that he had behind his back, and stabbed her right on the throat. Albany fell, struggling to breath, but the clown followed her and kept stabbing until the girl stopped breathing.

Maybe it was better that way. She would be with her friends now.

Day Five

12th: Jacie Belmont, District Seven Female.

Jacie was ready. She had been following them around for days and she knew that it was now or never. The Careers had set up camp in the main tent, right next to the Cornucopia, and they were about to go to sleep. Jacie was waiting, sword in hand, for when the time came. It was simple, go in and kill the girl from Four, and leave as soon as she was finished. She would avenge her family. As soon as she saw the lights go down, Jacie made her move. She ran and ran and as soon as the girl from Four was distracted, Jacie caught her from behind and stabbed her right in the stomach. The girl fell and Jacie was about to make the final move when she felt a sharp pain on her stomach and the sword fell from her hand. The girl from stood behind her and as soon as she fell, Scarlet ran to help Cora. Jacie died with a smile on her face, knowing that she was going to see her family.

11th: Vesta Phonicks, District Two Female.

For the first time in her life, Vesta was truly happy. No more mistakes, no more lies. In here, she could be who she truly was. A bad person. A killer. Wicked. She didn't have to pretend to be a good person anymore. She was who she was, and no one could do anything about it. Like when she killed Alabaster, for example. Nothing ever gave her more joy than watching him scream as the fire took his life. Vesta was currently at the top of the ferries wheel, enjoying the food that sponsors had sent her just a few hours ago. Nothing could go wrong, right? At least, that was what she thought. All it took was a mere second when Vesta slipped and fell down. Her first thought when she hit the ground was that she couldn't breath. Then, she saw them. The girl from eight and her district partner, with two other girls following behind them. Vesta knew that she couldn't move. It was useless. She prayed that she would die before they got to her, and that was what happened. Danica just shrugged, and moved on. No one mourns the wicked.

Day Six

10th: Tracy Seam, District Five Male.

If Tracy was happy before,it seemed like a life time ago. All that happiness was gone as soon as Nadene died, and there was nothingthat he could do about it. She had given her life to save him and Everth And like always, he did nothing about it. He had tried to talk to Everth, to explain him that there was nothing that they could have done, but he knew that wasn't true. He could have fought. Being the oldest, he should have fought and died in Nadene's place. But he didn't and there was nothing that he could do about that. Tracy decided to go to the Cornucopia and try and steal some food for him and Everth. But deep down, Tracy knew that it was a suicide mission. So, he gave everything that they had to Everth and said goodbye. As soon as he walked to the tent, the Careers saw him. The boy from Two moved foward, but the blonde girl from one stopped him and said that Tracy was hers to kill. Like she had killed Nadene. In that moment, Tracy found something in himself that he never knew he had. Courage. And then he ran to Scarlet, Nadene's knife in his hand.

Tracy punched her straight in the face, with all the force that he had, breaking Scarlet's nose. She coughed up blood but fought back, stabbing Tracy in his arm with her tomahawk. Tracy stumbled back but despite being an outer district tribute, he was much stronger than her. The last thing he did was to stab her in the shoulder with all the force that he had. Tracy Seam died a hero.

9th: Scarlet Barathea, District One Female.

Scarlet thought of her family.

When the boy from Five fell down, she collapsed. The pain in her shoulder wasn't about to go away anytime soon and Scarlet knew that she was a goner. They taught them in the Academy that when they were hit on a certain place, there was nothing that could be done. As soon as she fell, Karter left. Scarlet knew that he always cared more about Cora than her, but it would be nice to have someone in there. It would be nice to know that someone actually cared about her, for once.

What hurt the most was to know that she failed. She never managed to show everyone that District One wasn't all about beauty and fashion, that there were also smart people in there. People that knew what they wanted. Like her. Scarlet just hoped her sister wouldn't follow in her footsteps. Florian held her hand until she passed, mourning what could have been. Maybe in another life, it wouldn't be too late for him to tell Scarlet how much he loved her.

8th: Cora D'Alessio, District Four Female.

Cora knew that she was dying and yet, she had no idea that they would stick with her. Karter hadn't left her side since the girl from Seven had attacked her, but like her, he knew that Cora's time was coming. And she was okay with it. Cora knew that she could never win without killing at least one person, and she refused to do that. She refused to give up the one thing that she had left since she entered the Games.

Her humanity.

So the second Cora felt sleep take over her, she closed her eyes and believed that they were all there. Her family, her friends, Scarlet and Bastian. She died with a smile on her face.

Day Seven.

7th: Everth Gondel, District Seven Male.

Everth was alone. He was hungry. So what should he do? Everth decided that maybe if he went out and managed to kill or severely injure another tribute, his mentor would have enough to send him some food. He was starving and would die soon enough if he didn't do anything. Besides, he had nothing to lose. So why shouldn't he?

What Everth didn't know was that the Gamemakers already had plans of their own. All that the young boy noticed was a sponsor parachute inside one of the animal cells. As soon as he walked in, the doors closed. When the monkeys jumped to Everth, all that he could do was hope that it was quick. It wasn't.

Day Eight.

6th: Florian Belavaire, District One Male.

They decided it was time. Florian and Karter had decided that it would be a noble fight and whoever won, won. That was it. They were more than allies, that was for sure. Maybe in another life, they could have been the best of friends. But right now, this was the Hunger Games and only one could live. Florian didn't have any motivation to win anymore, so why should he fight? But if there was anyone that he wanted to win now that Scarlet was gone, it was Karter.

Karter striked and Florian striked back, but in the end, only one of them managed to make it out of there alive. Florian was proud that he died by Karter's hand, who stayed with him until the very end. He was going to be with Scarlet now,and that was all he could ever ask for.

5th: Sita Raymont, District Six Female.

Sita knew that they wouldn't last much longer. It was nice, at first, when it was just the three of them but as soon as Ewyllan joined, Sita knew that they were doomed. She saw the way that Dany and Ewyllan played each other and in the end, if they didn't got out in time, she and Amalie would end up in the middle. They had gathered a few weapons and backpacks and as soon as Ewyllan and Danica fell asleep, they made their move. Only that they had no idea that both of them were still awake. Amalie grabbed a spear and threw it at Ewyllan, that quickly moved away. Sita tried to help, but she had no idea about what she should do. She just stood there and all it took was a second for Ewyllan to slit her throat.

Allies turned into enemies. Who would survive?

4th: Danica Caleigh, District Eight Female.

As soon as Sita fell down, Danica couldn't help but feel guilty. She was her ally, maybe even something close to a friend. But so was Ewyllan. So how could she choose between the two of them? She couldn't. That was the answer. As much as Danica hated it, she cared about all three of them. Ewyllan, Sita, Amalie. But there was only one way to end this without them having to face each other in the finale. They had to end this, right there, right now.

So she picked up one of her daggers, and threw it to Amalie. The other girl was smarter and stronger, and as soon as Danica got down to pick up another dagger, Amalie threw her to the ground and pinned her with her spear. Danica just smiled.

"Go on, Am. You deserve it more than I do."

After that, Amalie ran. She wasn't ready to face the others just yet.

Finale.

3rd: Amalie Rennison, District Five Female.

It was time. Amalie, Ewyllan and Karter. One of them would win. But not without blood. They were back in the main tent, all three of them around the Cornucopia. Amalie looked at Ewyllan, wanting to avenge Sita and Dany, too. Karter was focusing on himself, on coming back to Merritt. Ewyllan made the first move. He walked straight into the Cornucopia, picked up a sword and faced Amalie. She charged foward and swung her spear, hitting Ewyllan in the face with the tip. He fell back, but didn't stop, and punched Amalie in the nose. She felt it break, but managed to stab Ewyllan in the stomach. Before he threw a knife that went straight into he throat. As Amalie sat there, struggling to breath, she closed her eyes.

She would see Dany and Sita now.

2nd: Ewyllan Gardiner, District Eight Male.

If there was one thing that Ewyllan hated about the Games, it was being seen as a villian. He wasn't a villian, he was just a teenage boy trying to make it home. He made it his far because he knew how to play people, and he was good at it. But now, here was he, fighting against a Career.

But of them were tired. Both of them just wanted to make it home. Karter nodded at him, in respect, to let him now that none of them was about to go down for anything. It was time to end this. Ewyllan punched him in the face and Karter grabbed him by the hair and with a punch to the throat, Ewyllan fell down. He tried to crawl away, to grab a weapon, but Karter punched him in the ribs. He wasn't about to give up now, after so long. This was his chance. Ewyllan grabbed Karter's foot and pulled him down with him, trying to grab a sword. One of them got their hands on a weapon.

Karter stabbed Ewyllan right in the shoulder and before the boy could move, Ewyllan grabbed the blade and stabbed him in the stomach. But Karter was a Career, much stronger and as soon as Ewyllan stopped moving, Karter stabbed him in the forehead.

It was done.

1st: Karter Dior, District Two Male.

He won.

Karter stood there, without moving. His wound hurt like hell, but he knew that it would be solved soon. He was a Victor now, and the Capitol made sure that all of their Victors were alive and well. But Karter didn't care about them. He cared about Merritt, waiting for him back home, and he cared about his family. Karter knew what was the first thing that he would do when he got home, though.

Propose to Merritt. Mr Merritt Dior and Mr Karter Dior.

It was worth fighting for.
