Sorry for the wait stress was starting to get to me and I couldn't focus on this project and to make matter worse my cat needed emergency surgery witch I failed to mention, so I wrote a one shot humor to relive some stress, but now I'm back and this chapters promises to be a one of my best hopfully.
Again I take no credit for spider rider I am merely taking canon characters and using them in a none canon fan base. Also if you want to read the other story I made the link will be at the bottom of the page. This story takes place after the other one left off.
Igneous had come to the inn from the meeting that night before he went to his room he checked on corona to find her asleep on top the bed, he was displeased but not surprised by this and placed her under the sheets before going to his room. The next morning he went and gave corona a reprimand about not having a proper diet or the like all of which she paid little mind to without igneous knowing, after witch there was very little happening in the city. After two more days igneous and the monarchs finally came to some agreement and the papers where signed after which the two spider rider made back for arcana.
They had made a half days journey from the city and igneous was make detailed note and shortening the terms about the meeting, igneous then noticed that something looked like it was bothering corona he was about to say something when. CALLING ALL SPDER RIDERS! Came ringing out of there manicals, "igneous corona are you there answer" it was prince lumen (and he seemed to be in a hurry for once) we are at your command my prince" igneous said humble as ever "that is good I've received word that a large group of raider heading in the direction of a village in your area" he said glad to finally get that done, 'we are on are way!" corona said as they head off." I've already had ebony give the location to flame so get there as soon as you can!"
The spiders made quick time as they tried to hurry to the village before it was too late, flame then lead them though a wooded area witch was not the easiest of path but none complained. When they finally made it thought the brush they could see the village and they could see smoke rising from it witch was not a good sign. Igneous was quickly trying to formulate a plain but "corona we should try and" but when he looked to his partner she and her spider where not there instead where half way down the hill. "OH DIRE" he thought to himself as he followed.
As they approached the outskirts of village the defenders where holding of most of the raiders that got in the village at bay "corona I'll go and rally the village in to a more in to a more ample defense, well I'm doing that you take care of the stragglers and aid those who have yet to make it to safety" igneous words came in here mind as he was speaking though flame "alright" he thought in response. As they charged ahead a small wall armored humanoids heard them coming and turn to face them but to their surprise it was two spider riders and tried to spear them to no avail as they got trampled.
Once they made it in to the city they parted as igneous went to the solders and helped them with their bug problem. Corona I'm the mean while went near the back of the village looking for and that remained. When she got there it looked as though all of the villagers got away but before she could think about "aHHHHHHHHHHH!" a woman's scream rang out.
Caching her attention immediately she went in the direction of the yell and when she turn the next corner she could see two of the armored goons had cornered a lady and a child, corona the picked up bow and struck them down with no effort "you to get out of here" she said to them snapping them from their surprise rescue and the two then left the area, corona was about to direct Venus on where to go next when she suddenly.
Corona got pushed to the ground "corona" her spider thought to her, when she recover from hitting the ground to her surprise she had the same dark clay colored hair boy from before next thing she saw was corona picking him off her and pining him to a wall and hearing him grunting in displeasure. Corona then got up and faced him "what are you doing here" she said with suspicion witch got her a smirk as he spoke in a mean sort of tone "you should be thanking me" then shaking his head in one direction, curiously corona looked and seen one of the raiders with a knife in the side of his neck and she looked back she noticed an arrow just above her head and realized she would have been shot if not for him.
After a moment she spoke "it's all right … you can let him go" she said to her spider and did as instructed and relapsed him, once on the ground he went over and reclaimed his dagger witch he had thrown as corona followed him and as soon as he turned back knife in hand "what are you doing here" she said wondering why he would be here but she got another smirk "same thing you're here saving the village" he said not changing his domineer
Before she could say anything two more raiders came out from charging for them before corona could even think renee had gone after them quickly throwing one dagger felling the one on the right and dodged the spear of the other getting behind him and impaling it. When he looked up corona and Venus where taking care of another much larger group had come up behind them while corona was taking care of the ones at a distance Venus was getting the closer ones.
After several moments corona realized that that her manical was not making energy arrows fast enough, before two long one got in close under her vision and Venus had her lags full with three at once and just as it was just about to strike then before he made contact a silvery colored streak stuck the foe in the eye hole of its helmet and felled him. At which point corona took the time to take out the last few and then helped Venus with her now five invecteds judging from their helmets.
When the fight was over renee went to the one he got for corona and pulled something out and when she got a look at it to her amazement it was a tiny palm sized dagger "how could have hit the target with that" she thought to herself in wonder, once he had whipped it off he then placed a hand on his hair bunching much now lose stands up and placed it in his hair like a clip. Corona then followed by Venus then went to where he stood "I don't like him" Venus though "he seems too good at combat to be a farmer" she continued "I agree" corona thought back. When they approached him he turned and corona saw that he had two daggers on by his belt and one on his left leg just above his boot "that makes three plus the one in his hair, that's something I'll have to keep my eye on" she thought. He then looked up and closed his eyes for a moment and when he opened them again he spoke "the battle is over,…the village's defenders must have actually done something…for once" he said sounding pleased, when corona was trying to think about what he meant then she thought for a moment and listened "…he's right the sounds of battle had stopped meaning the village was saved…but how does he" she was going to have to speak with igneous about this.
"All right" she said aloud "I need to find igneous… and you'd better come with me" she said in a commanding voice. But he shrugged and was reluctant to listen but did not want to upset her spider again so complied "by the way" he quipped casing corona to stop who was mounting Venus "the names not you'd its renee spider rider" he said with a hard look on his face, corona then smiled lightly and spoke in a similar tone "fine but the names not spider riders… It's corona" she shot back witch got her a bit of a smug slime showing some teeth "fair enough" he said as they left corona noticed something on one of the armored raiders on the back of his torso plate he had a strange mark on that she thought warranted further research.
