They landed on Berk well after dark and they all parted their separate ways. Caleri and Sila walked down to the beach where they first met. Caleri sat down heavily and sighed. Sila curled up around her and looked into the stars.

"What do you see, my friend?" the human asked her dragon. Sila stilled her mind and stared into the abyss of the night. The stars started to move, and Sila saw their possible future. Flames leapt and devoured houses on Berk, and the Vikings inside. Dragons cried out as they were torn apart by their own kind. Blood was spilled everywhere, and she saw two Night Furies battling on the air. One had blazing red eyes, the other with eyes of many colors.

Sila winced and looked away, her breathing ragged. Caleri laid a calming hand on her neck and Sila sighed. "What I saw is too terrible. I don't want to give you nightmares of those horrors," she whispered hoarsely. Caleri nodded, not pushing it anymore.

They sat in silence, Caleri staring at the stars and Sila making shapes in the sand. "It just doesn't seem fair, you know?" she whispered, looking at Sila. Sila nodded, a shiver of sadness running down her spine. She didn't want to believe that her brother could be evil, and they would have to kill each other.

Caleri started to shiver from the cold and Sila wrapped her wing around her human friend. "We should probably go inside," Sila said. Caleri nodded and they made the climb up to Meridia's house. Beniula smiled at the two as they walked past and into Meridia's room, where the red haired girl was curled up and sleeping under Fangmouth's wing. Caleri smiled and laid down on the extra bed they had found for her. Sila jumped up next to her and mimicked her brother.

"We will sort out everything that happened out today in the morning," Caleri muttered before they drifted off into sleep.

The sun shone through the window and woke the four friends. Fangmouth stretched and yawned, jolting Meridia awake. She smiled sleepily and scratched him behind his ears. Sila gently nudged Caleri awake and the girl slowly opened her eyes. The girl patted her dragon's head and stood. Buniula poked her head in the doorway and smiled at the four.

"Hiccup would like to speak with you when you are ready," she said. Caleri stood and stretched, looking at Sila.

"Best get this done. Come on guys," she said. They made their way to the Great Hall, meeting Buff along the way. Silence had fallen over them, and Caleri opened the massive doors of the hall. Hiccup and Toothless were there, leaning over the fire pit. He turned and smiled at them, opening his arms.

"Greetings. I brought you here to inquire about what happened yesterday." Caleri took a deep breathe and releyed the events to him. He frowned and looked like he was pondering.

"So, Cheif, what are we going to do?" Buff asked. Hiccup tapped his chin and sighed.

"We prepare. We train harder, have the older trainers join. Ration the food. We must be ready for this," he said. He looked at Caleri. "If it is true that you and Sila are our saviors, then you must prepare. Train hard, and hope the Gods have mercy on us."

They left, ready to prepare themselves for the preparation of war.
