Chapter 10 Taking it back to Halloween. Sorry for the wait.

...

Fitz looked in the mirror as he continued putting his costume together for his office's Halloween party. He and Olivia had attended every year so far. They tried to be as involved with their work places as much as they could.

This year Fitz and Olivia decided to go as Popeye and Olive Oyl. Olivia wanted so badly to go as Tarzan and Jane but Fitz didn't like the idea of Olivia in the skimpy Jane outfit that she was going to purchase. He'd be showing his body too but he didn't want anyone making googly eyes at his wife. He knew she'd feel the same way with women staring him down. So Popeye and Olive was the neutral choice.

Olivia stepped out of the bathroom in her costume that she was somehow able to make look even sexier than it was supposed to be. The mini skirt clung to her ass and hips and the top accentuated her breasts. Fitz sat on the edge of the bed and began putting on his shoes. Olivia walked over to the closet, bending over to pick up her shoes also. She decided on her favorite red bottom pumps to match her costume perfectly. She walked over to where Fitz was sitting on the edge of the bed and began putting on her shoes.

Fitz just watched on in amazement at how beautiful his wife truly was. He finished with his shoes and stood to his feet, walking over to the dresser to add his last finishing touches.

Olivia quickly slipped into her hills and looked over in Fitz' direction as he sprayed on his cologne and placed his watch on his wrist. His muscles were shapely in his Popeye shirt and his ass looked great in his jeans. She smiled to herself because they both seemed to have particular obsessions with the other's backside.

Fitz caught her staring through the mirror with a smirk displayed on her lips and couldn't help the flutter within his stomach. He turned facing her direction just as she was walking over to him. She beckoned with her finger for him to lean down into her for a kiss.

Without hesitation, their lips connected and communicated what they couldn't use with words. She wrapped her hands around his back pulling him closer and Fitz groaned into her mouth. She seemed to always want to start things when she knew they had somewhere to be. His hand slid down and gripped her ass pulling back and away from those luscious lips that always sucked him in. She pouted and he chuckled.

"Nuh uh. You promised you'd go to this Halloween office party. We've never missed one yet. We can play later!" He pleaded. Olivia's face didn't change and she dropped her face down, eyeing the bulge in his pants. She ran her tongue across her bottom lip and her hand just had a mind of it's own and began reaching out to grab the front of his pants but Fitz was quicker than her. He knew that look she was giving his friend, or rather her friend.

"I promise we'll play later. Now c'mon" he bargained before placing a sweet kiss to the back of her hand.

She huffed and made her out of the door and down the stairs making sure she swayed her hips just right for him as she walked away. Fitz followed behind closely like a lost puppy. They grabbed the rest of their things and were out of the door.

...

It had been close to an hour that they'd been at the party and they were already a little tipsy even after they agreed no drinking but someone so graciously decided to spike the punch and clearly there were no complaints from anyone. Harrison was also in attendance and they were all standing by the refreshments when he spotted a young lady dressed as Wonder Woman across on the "dance floor". He quickly tapped Fitz' arm bringing him out of his Olivia induced daze.

"Hey, Fitz. Who's the girl over there" Harrison asked and Fitz directed his attention to the other side of the room.

"Oh, that's Quinn. She's one of our financial advisers. Why? Are you interested?" Fitz questioned as he noticed Harrison hadn't even taken his eyes off of her.

"Oh, definitely. I'm in need of some serious saving" he answered before swaggering his way on over to where Quinn was dancing. Fitz and Olivia noticed Quinn smiling and laughing with Harrison form where they were standing and shook their heads playfully before turning their attention back to one another. They were so caught up that they didn't notice the others around them. That was until...

"What the hell?" Fitz yelled but not loud enough over the music for everyone to draw attention. A stranger dressed up as a mime had accidentally spilled the dark punch all over his jeans. The punch was black, for added Halloween affect so it was more than noticeable on his light blue jeans. The mime didn't speak but frantically grabbed some napkins to be of assistance. Olivia grabbed the napkins from the person when Fitz made no signs of moving.

"It's okay, baby" Olivia cooed sweetly into his ear as Fitz stared the mime down. She grabbed his face and kissed him softly before speaking on his behalf.

"Everything's fine. I'm sure it was just an accident. Thank you." She spoke to the mime. She glanced back up at Fitz whose face was now softening and kissed him on the lips.

"Go clean up a little in the bathroom. I'll be right here waiting for you." She stated sweetly. He nodded his head in the most child-like manner and tipsily maneuvered his way through the crowd.

The mime was still standing near her but wasn't saying a thing. She looked him up and down suspiciously wondering why he opted for a white mask instead of just white make-up like every mime she'd seen in her lifetime had done. She kept getting this vibe from him and she felt the need to ask, "Do I know you?"

The mime slowly nodded his head and offered her his hand to shake. Once their palms touched and she got a better whiff of his cologne, she knew it was him.

"Antonio" She questioned harshly before snatching her hand away. He nodded his head again but that only angered Olivia.

"Cut the silent act. What are you doing here?" She spat trying to remain composed after all she was in public and she knew her few drinks had done her in good.

He removed his mask from his face before finally speaking. "I'm sorry, Olivia. Can we please go somewhere and talk" He finally said

"Talk?" She hissed. She glanced around checking to see if anyone, specifically Fitz could see them conversing. "We have nothing to talk about"

She gathered herself and walked away heading towards Fitz' office to wait for him. Antonio didn't miss a beat and followed closely behind. Right before she had the chance to close his office door, Antonio blocked it and made his way inside.

"Olivia. Why do you feel the need to run from me. I'm not trying to hurt you. I could never... I just want to talk."

"Fine. Talk" Olivia spat while leaning against Fitz' desk and looking towards him waiting for him to speak. He was silent. He stood there taking Olivia in. It had been long over two months since he'd seen or heard from her. He looked her body over, up and down before making I contact.

"Stop" She said and folded her arms over her chest.

"Stop what. I'm just taking all of this, all of you in. I've.. missed you" Antonio confessed.

Olivia huffed and rolled her eyes at him

"I don't know why you're here or what you expect to happen but nothing will. I'm a happily married woman."

"But you weren't happy 3 months ago. I was there for you."

"I know you were there for me but you shouldn't have been. I was wrong for allowing you into my life. I am sorry."

"I don't want you to be sorry Liv. I want you to want me like the way I want you" Antonio was beggining to make his way closer to Olivia. She needed to keep as much distance as she could between them two. She moved around behind her husband's desk.

"That's not going to happen, so please leave, Antonio. Please!" She begged.

Antonio balled up his fist and slammed them onto the desk. "Dammit, Olivia" He yelled before hearing the sounds of drunken laughter and chatter through the hall. He looked into Olivia's terrified eyes and ran around to her whispering he was sorry. He wound up cornering Olivia against the wall. He wiped away a lone tear that had fallen from her eye. He looked at her while her eyes were glued to Fitz' door. He slowly leaned in and planted a soft kiss to her cheek. He so badly wanted to kiss her lips but he didn't want to anger her anymore. He slowly backed away and moved over to the door. He looked back at her small, shaken form before saying, "This isn't over, Olivia"

And with that, he placed his mask back over his head and made his way out of Fitz' office and out of the building.

Olivia stood there in complete shock. She knew now it was time to cut all ties off with Antonio. She tried to keep things reasonable and rational but he had taken it too far by showing up at Fitz' job. She knew it was half her fault for why he was acting this way but now it was time to take things into her own hands. They hadn't been working together at all recently since he moved himself to another department and she didn't want to cost him his job but she felt a restraining order was needed. She just hoped and prayed things didn't get anymore out of hand than they already had.

She walked over to the door to make her way out and search for Fitz but she didn't have to look far because he was standing right outside the door.

"What were you doing in there, baby?" Fitz asked. His words a little slower than usual due to the alcohol.

"Nothing. I just needed to get away for a minute." Fitz may have been tipsy but he knew when things were off about his wife.

"You okay, Liv?" He questioned as he leaned against the door frame, bringing his hand up to cup her face. She placed her hand over his and gave him a fake reassuring smile. She wanted to tell him about Antonio being the one to spill punch on him or that Antonio followed her into the office but she felt no good would come from it at the moment. She leaned up and kissed his lips sweetly.

"I'm fine, babe. Let's get back to the party." She stated and grabbed his hand, leading him back to the crowd. She'd find a way to handle Antonio another day. ...
