This is set after So the Drama and is AU from there on.
From this point on this fic is set in the Marvel Cinematic universe set after Thor 2.
Well that's enough of an author's notes on with chapter 10.
Sata Manor
Sarah and Kuto entered the limo as Phil Coulson and several members of the security team were already in the limo waiting for them, as soon as they were in the limo Melinda May started the limo and headed to Sata Tower.
Sarah said "I read the New York Times. A poll said 60% of those polled want me in prison and blame me for what Drakken did. Kuto how on are earth are you going to ensure I remain free?"
Kuto replied "I talked to the mayor earlier today. The Go City Council is holding an emergency meeting. They are debating that if the US demand you are put in prison and try to get China's leaders to end your diplomatic immunity as a Chinese government liaison to Sata Industries, to secede from the union and Go City become its own sovereign nation. The mayor proposed this plan himself. He is very grateful to you for saving his life last night."
Coulson asked "Mr Sata do you honestly believe Go City as its on nation is viable?"
Kuto replied "We have a university, 4 schools. A big population and a big source income in Sata Industries and the other companies that have offices in this city, like Stark Industries and Oscorp for instance. Besides I have a plan for how to get Shego to remain free and to get the other 11 countries who want her behind bars off her back. People want someone to blame for the Diablo attacks, the only way to get Sarah free is to give them someone else, namely Drakken, he escaped from prison, so Sarah and Team Go will find him and put him behind bars."
Suddenly Melinda said over the intercom "We're here sir."
Kuto, Sarah and the security detail left the limo as reporters who were outside the tower shouted questions at Kuto and Sarah.
When they got to the conference room Kuto said "Members of the press, I speak to you all today for several reasons, the first to let you all know I am unhurt and in good health. Second to tell you all that Team Go is going to find Dr Drakken and put him back in prison. Shego herself knows her old boss better than anyone. Her catching him will show she has changed and give the people affected by this tragedy someone else to punish for these crimes. I have also learned the DA offered Kim Possible a deal which could see her free from police custody by tonight. The charges will be dropped if Kim Possible publicly apologize to Shego, admit she can't do anything and give up being a vigilante for the rest of her life. Now any questions?"
One reported asked "Shego why did you not try to stop Drakken using his Diablo Robots?"
Sarah answered "Kim Possible showed up once I beat her I was going to stop Drakken, the reason why I didn't do something before is because Drakken threatened to have all the robots target Go City. I was essentially blackmailed and too outnumbered to stop him then I had to wait and bide my time. I also want to say something. I know a lot of people out there hate me for what Drakken did and blame me and they are right to. I can never bring back those who died but I vow to make sure no one else loses a loved one to people like Drakken. I am going to ensure no other criminals harm the people of this city or anywhere else. Consider this atonement for my sins."
Another reporter said "Mr Sata there are reports that your company is working on something called the Sata Reactor. Do you care to comment on that?"
Kuto replied "My company is working on such a project and I was going to wait to tell you all about it, but I think now is as good a time as any. The Sata Reactor is an experimental reactor which runs on green energy. It will hopefully soon replace the national power grid. The reactor regulates the flow of energy; sending it where it is needed, siphoning it off where it is not, and storing any excess energy for an emergency. The prototype has passed every test. I will show it to members of the US government and once they give approval. It will be online from here at Sata Tower. My company is working on a version for cars and planes which will end our reliance on fossil fuel and global warming stop in its tracks."
A reporter from Fox News asked "What do you plan to do if the government demand Shego be handed over to face trial for her crimes."
At the moment the mayor entered the room and said "If that happens Go City will secede from the United States and become its own country. The city council voted overwhelmingly in favour of this plan."
Kuto then left the room and headed to his office followed by Sarah, his security and the mayor.
Once on the top floor, Kuto instructed the guards to remain outside the office while he and Sarah talked to the mayor.
As soon as the doors closed Kuto said "Mr Mayor I want to let you know, the Sata Reactor is ready to take over the power requirements of the city. For the past few days it's taken over the power requirements of Sata Tower itself as a test run to ensure no problems are going to pop up with the Sata Reactor."
The mayor said "Shego the Go City council has decided to reward you for your actions last night by giving you the key to the city tonight at city hall."
Shego said "Mr Mayor it was nothing really."
The mayor shook his head and said "Last night you stood up for Go City. Together, Me, Mr Sata along with you and Team Go can save this city from people like Eclipse, if we work together."
The mayor held out his hand as Sarah shook it and Kuto shook the mayor's other hand, signalling the birth of a new alliance by the mayor, Kuto Sata and Team Go with one goal. Save Go City
Later that day Go City police Station
Kim Possible sat in her cell as a guard entered and said "Miss Possible, you have visitors."
She stood up and glared when she saw who her visitors were. It was Shego and Kuto Sata.
Shego smiled and said "Nice to see you where you belong Kimmie. Now I assume your parents told you about Kuto's offer and the conditions for release?"
Kim nodded, Kuto then asked "What is your answer Possible. Do you accept my terms or not?"
Kim replied "No. First off I won't apologize for doing what it took to save the world from you and Drakken. Secondly my motto is something I believe in and I won't forsake my beliefs and last but not least I won't stop being a hero to this world. Its people like you Shego who should be in this jail cell not me. Sadly your boyfriend here has this whole city grovelling at his feet as if he were a king."
Kuto said "I am no king miss Possible. I am just a man, my family just has a lot of history here that make people grateful to me and my family. You however are a woman with obvious psychological problems. I'm going to recommend your parents take you to see a psychiatrist. I went to one after my parent's died and got help. Maybe you can as well."
Kim said "The only crazy person here is you. How can you love such a green skinned freak?"
Shego in anger ignited her fists and said "Say that again Kimmie these bars won't separate us much longer and I won't hold back anymore."
Before anyone said anything else the police showed up and escorted Kuto and Shego out of the cell block to stop a fight from breaking out.
They saw Kim's parents along with her best friend and sidekick Ron Stoppable were also in the police station.
Kuto said "Mr and Mrs Possible I am going to have the DA inform the police to release your daughter immediately. She needs help and she can't get it here."
With that Kuto and Sarah left the police station and headed to city hall.
