Wow, for so long I stopped this story so suddenly, I guess I got too excited over college. Plus I accidentally deleted my documents for this story. I apologise to those who still actually wait for this story's update. I thank those who read and review my story.
Plus the story might be shorter and less detail, because I almost forgotten all that I wrote back then.
As Iruka continued to sense for Kakashi's chakra, they went across some streets that were filled with residents, mostly fishy creature or mermaids. But those streets have some old Japanese design to them, a bit like Konoha village itself. The street vendors, houses, everything.
Of course, both Iruka and Sai do their ninja best to keep out of sight.
"Sai, have you send a message to Naruto and the others? That we're on Kakashi's trail." Sai replied softly, "Already done."
After crossing, or swimming across about five blocks and two gardens, Iruka and Sai reached a large house with designs of an ancient Japanese palace. Here, the white chakra is getting relatively strong.
"There you guys are!" The two ninjas turned their heads, to see Yamato, Naruto and Sakura swimming towards them, with the Uzumaki taking the lead no doubt. "Hey so you found Kakashi?" Yamato asked while looking at the palace that they took notice of. "I'm going to." Iruka then pointed at the third floor, the highest floor of the bungalow, "Kakashi's charkra is stronger up there."
"Well what are waiting for?!" Naruto exclaimed as he swam towards their target, the rest followed and kept swimming until they found an open, unguarded window. The blond Uzumaki swam in, looking around frantically and knocked into a coral purple coral decoration.
"Oww.." "You never learn do you Naruto." Sakura floated next to him, placing her hand on her forehead like so many times. Ignoring the kunoichi, Naruto quickly explore the room they're in. "Pretty big place, knowing there's no people here right now." Without bothering to explore, Iruka find the nearest staircase to go immediately, with his head filled with concern for Kakashi. Yamato gestured everyone else to follow, trying to keep quiet to prevent an unnecessary situation.
Hm? Someone's coming. Her guards? no wait I recognise this chakras.
"Kakashi Sir?" Isabella looked up to this Kakashi's turning face. The ever-so kind jounin looked at Isabella, the mermaid in her eyes directly with concern.
"Isabella… Are you ready to let me go?"
"Kakashi!" The chunin pushed away the two curtains in his way, the door to Isabella's room. Iruka immediately torpedoed towards Kakashi and hugged him without hesitation, and without noticing the lone mermaid.
"Kakashi sensei!" The duo made up of the Uzumaki and Haruno followed Iruka's action and covered up Kakashi completely. Geez, and I thought he's in danger somewhat. Yamato breathed out a long sigh of relief along with some bubbles, noticing a colourful figure next to Kakashi, and realised she's a fish from the waist down. Okay what now?
"Goodness Kakashi I'm so worried! Sakura just ran in like that I dissaperance this morning and and…" Smiling lightly, Kakashi felt sorry for concerning Iruka, and yet at the same time happy that's he's the first thing on the dolphins mind.
"Erm, and you all are?.." Isabella bravely asked, causing turning heads, even Sai had a surprised look on his face. Well, since she have a fish tail from the waist down..
"Ahh! You're the one we saw at the cave! You're the one who kidnapped Kakashi sensei with the creatures!" Sakura exclaimed, pointing an accusing finger at Isabella, as the memories flooded her head.
"What?! Really?!" The whiskers on Naruto's face got even more prominent as well as the blood vessels on his forehead. Naruto pushed both Kakashi and Iruka to his back as he and Sakura took fighting stances, not fooled by Isabella's charming looks, since their sensei are on top in their heads are now.
"Naruto! Sakura! Stand down! She's not an enemy!" Kakashi quickly grabbed their shoulders before they can built up their chakra's for jutsus. Iruka's surprised as to why his lover's defending their supposed enemy.
Yamato quickly joined the party while Naruto started exclaiming. "What do you mean?! Who abducts someone with no reason?" "Yeah! You can't just take somebody away like that and get away with it." Sakura joined in, still fixing a menacing gaze on Isabella.
"Well, apparently their original intentions towards me were hostile alright, but Isabella here manage to stop them from doing so on me." Kakakshi said so with a cool demeanour despite the heating up situation.
"Eh?"
Kakashi gestured towards Isabella, "Why don't you tell them the reason you saved me?"
"Erm…" Isabella started putting her hands together, reminding Naruto of a certain Hyuuga.
"You looked like my deceased fiancé."
The poor mermaid immediately sink to the pebbled floor, folding her tail, covering her face and started to cry.
Everybody relaxed their tense shoulders almost immediately, only the cry of a mermaid and bubbling sounds filled the room, the innocent aura and disturbed chakra of Isabella became even more prominent.
Next thing they know, Ikura Umino approached Isabella, the last person they expect would do so.
