Jamie is gone. That's all that Jack can think about. Exactly one year to the date Jack finds himself in a place where none of the Guardians think to look. Devastated by guilt, Jack discovers the most unlikely of things in a small town in the middle of nowhere: a mortal guardian [major character death, other character death] [10 yr interlude in Scorched Winters, songfic]

Just a quick note - to say this story doesn't have me in it would be a whopper... if you haven't guessed by now. I am the one who helps Jack.

The disease mentioned here IS a real disease, but there is no fourth type. It is rare & there isn't a cure. I made up the fourth type completely, basing symptoms of what I found online about it.

I am almost constantly making up new stories, so look for them! I always intend to finish what I start, no matter how long it takes to do so. See you in the next story!
