Willis, Terriermon, and Lopmon were running towards the group. "Sorry I'm late!" He said.

"Remember Willis, this is all your fault!" Terriermon said.

"Shut up!" Willis said. "Anyway, what are we here for?" Sitting down next to Kari, he let go of his two Digimon, smiling as they ran off to play.

"To welcome the new Digidestined!" Gennai said. Tagiru waved at Willis, Yuu smiled at him, and Mikey mouthed 'hey'.

"Turns out Mikey and his friends are Digidestined." Kari said to Willis. "They're the Digidestined of Loyalty, Smiles, and Dreaming."

Matt arrived just after Kari ended her sentence. "TK! I told you not to go to the Digital World!" He angrily told TK.

"But I had to Matt! Gennai said I needed to bring Mikey and his friends here!"

"It's true Matt! TK had this weird phone call with a guy and he yelled, 'Digi-Port open' at the computer, and bam! We're somehow in the Digital World." Mikey explained. "It's not TK's fault."

"And look Matt, you can go on tour again!" Tai laughed. "You're back to your normal, rockstar self!"

"Guy... look..." Ken pointed at a tall black spire. "How... how?" Ken turned pale.

"Ken, are you ok?" Wormmon asked.

"That... Control Spire... how did get there."

"That's why we need these three, Ken." Gennai said. "These Control Spires have recently started to appear overnight. I have a feeling Myotismon is causing this."

"You mean Myotismon knows how to make Control Spires!" Yolei said, obviously shocked.

"I didn't say that Yolei. That's a possible theory, though." Gennai said.

"Um... may I ask, what's a Control Spire?" Tagiru asked.

"A device made for evil. A device that..." Ken looked down, "I made to enslave Digimon."

"Ken, you're not the Digimon Emperor anymore." Davis said.

"Davis is right, Ken. You're not like that anymore." TK said.

"Great job, Ken. You really screwed up this time." Mikey said.

"It's not his fault, Mikey. Ken couldn't control his evil side before, but he's good now." Yolei explained.

"We better go destroy that Control Spire." Tai suggested.

"I'm going to find my old base." Ken said. "Wormmon, let's go." Ken and Wormmon walked off.

"Hey! Purple haired guy! I'm coming with you!" Yuu yelled as he and Damemon caught up with Ken.

Ken looked at Yuu. "You might not want to go. It's dangerous, and the negative energy radiating from there is overwhelming."

"It's fine." Yuu smiled. "I know what it feels like to be evil."

"You couldn't be as bad as me."

"Hey, why don't you tell me about your evil experience and I'll tell you about mine!"

"Fine. You first."

"When I was little, I met Damemon. My older sister, Nene, and I soon heard a voice after I met him asking me if I wanted to go to a place where no one ever dies. I eagerly said yes, and I found a Fusion Loader." Yuu looked down. "A couple years later, that voice led me and my sister into the Digital World. I soon learned the voice was AxeKnightmon, a Digimon who controlled my sister by imprisoning me. When my sister found me, I was convinced nobody dies in the Digital World. Under the influence of AxeKnightmon, I tried to kill the Red General, or Mikey. Damemon soon died, and I then joined the Fusion Fighters."

"That was... interesting."

"Now tell me your story." Yuu was excited to hear this story, his child self poking out of him.

Ken looked down. "When I was younger, my older brother Sam was my role model. He was smart and gifted, and he taught me everything I know. One day, this strange device came out of Sam's computer. He took it and said I shouldn't touch it, but I had a feeling it belonged to me. I touched it, and I was transported to a desert in the Digital World. Somehow, a strange Dark Spore entered me at some point, and when I came back to the real world, Sam was mad at me for touching his stuff. I wished Sam would go away, and he did." Tears started to form in Ken's eyes. "He was hit by a car, and I soon got a strange email that asked me if I wanted to go to the Digital World. I turned into my evil persona, the Digimon Emperor. I was also convinced that Digimon don't get hurt, so I enslaved the Digital World, building Control Spires to prevent the Digimon from Digivolving. Davis and the other Digidestined soon heard about me, and soon stopped me with the use of their Armor Digivolved Digimon. After learning from TK and Kari about how Digimon are real creatures, and how I couldn't just make another Digital World, I left. Wormmon gained the ability to Digivolve into Stingmon, and we started destroying Control Spires."

"Wow... that was a long story." Yuu admitted.

"Well, it's mine." Ken laughed.

"So do you still think about your past?"

"Everyday." Ken replied. "It's kinda hard to forget, but I tend to ignore it."

"Okay, listen up guys! I'm about to teach you Control Spire Destroying 101!" Davis said.

"Davisish is the master at this, so listensh up!" Veemon yelled.

"First you gotta Armor Digivolve!" Davis said.

"How do you do that?" Tagiru asked.

"Just yell 'Digi Armor Energize'!"

"Veemon Armor Digivolve to Flamedramon! The fire of courage!"

"Now, you attack the spire's base." Davis said.

"Fire rocket!" Flamedramon knocked the Control Spire with no difficulty.

"And that's how you do it!" Davis said. "Hopefully you get to practice later if we find more."
