A/N: And I'm back with another chapter. I hope you guys enjoy this chapter. I have a little announcement to make at the end of the chapter.
Standard disclaimers apply.
Recap:
His entire Pillar army roared out as they charged for their object, Mammons castle.
Behemoths smirk only broadened when the first explosion rang out in the distance.
'Yes, today was going to be a good day.'
You Don't Mess With My Family
Kunieda was determined. She along with Yolda and Lamia ran through the halls of Castle Mammon. They were following Beels directions as he pointed to exactly where Oga was in the castle.
She could see it now. She would show Oga how much better then Hilda she was, by rescuing him.
An explosion rocked the castle, signalling them that the invation had started.
They ran along the halls as Beel kept his little finger pointed at Oga. His arm started to move more to the right as they came to an intersection in the hall.
"Right." Lamia directed the party and Yolda turned to the right and they proceeded down the hall. They came to a corner and Beels hand was already pointing around the corner. Yolda was just about to turn when she stopped.
Yolda looked around the corner and confirmed what she felt, guards, two of them, standing in front of a door.
Beel was squirming in Lamia's arms. No doubt, Oga was in that room.
Yolda looked towards Kunieda. When they made eye contact they both nodded.
Without warning both Yolda and Kunieda attacked taking out the two soilders easily.
With the soilders taken out, Yolda kicked open the door. There he was chained to the wall, bruised and battered, but still very much alive. Before Kunieda could react, Yolda ran forward and broke his restraints. Once his hands were released, he opened his eyes.
Oga was pissed, that much they could tell. He had been visited by some green haired idiot who thought himself some big hot shot, but that wasn't why he was angry.
No.
He was angry because he had the nerve to threatened Hilda. He had felt everything. Her fear, her dread. Her pain. He noticed that Hilda wasn't with them.
Yolda was the first to notice the fury in his eyes, and it made her legs quake. She moved to the side to get out of his way. Oga nodded to her and took off, Hilda the only thing on his mind. He would make sure she was safe... no, he would made sure they were safe. Then he would get his revenge.
He could hear Beel screaming at him, encouraging him. "DABU, DA DA!" Oga smirked.
He did not notice Kuniedas expectant look as he passed by her and ran down the hall.
"I'm coming Hilda."
Hilda hung limp against her shackles. Her head was bowed forward and her bangs were covering her eyes. To anyone else, she would look like she was asleep.
But she wasn't. She couldn't sleep. She was too afraid to close her eyes. She felt that something bad would happen if she did. She had physically barred her link from Oga in her mind. She was too scared she would feel the pain of Oga being killed.
She was interrupted from her thoughts when she heard the door open. She looked up to see two men dressed in what she presumed were doctors uniforms enter the room, rolling in a table with scalpels into the room.
Her eyes shot wide open. She knew exactly what they were here for.
"No!" Hilda shouted as she began to thrash and kick against her restraints, tears appearing at the corners of her eyes. She would not let them take it from her, not without a fight.
She closed her eyes as she put all of her strength into breaking her restraints. She faintly heard the sound of footsteps rapidly approaching the door but she paid them little mind as she continued to pull, but it was no use. They weren't budging.
Suddenly she heard what soundly like punches being thrown and bodies falling to the floor but she dared not open her eyes, as tears continued to fall down her cheeks.
Everything was silent as she felt herself be released from her restraints and a familiar pair of strong, warm arms wrap around her form. Only then did she finally let go, the tears beginning to freely flow down her cheeks as she pressed herself against him and sobbed into his chest. She had thought she was going to loose him.
Oga knew Hilda was a strong girl and it took a lot to shake her up, but he knew that something must have happened to shake her up this much as she came undone in his arms, clenching his shirt in her hands tightly, her fingers going through the material. He hushed her and rubbed her back as she cried.
Yolda, Lamia, Beel and Kunieda showed up a few minutes later. Yolda stopped a the door to give her sister some space when she noticed the state she was in, but was relieved that she was alright.
Kunieda only burned with jealousy as she watched the couple in the room and stalked off to the fight out in the courtyard.
Finally after a few minutes, Hilda settled down enough until she was only sniffling and drawing in shaky breaths. She pulled back a bit and looked up, her eyes, still stinging from her tears and spoke.
"H-he threatened... are child." Hilda shakily got out, as she choked on the final word, fresh tears stinging her eyes from the memory.
Ogas eyes widened as anger began to course threw his being. That man had the gull to not only threaten Hilda, but also their child. Oga could only see red as he clenched his fist from his fury.
Hilda felt his anger through their bond but it did not scare her. It only fuelled her own anger as she felt it begin to corse through her being as well. They began to feed off each other's anger as it grew.
Everyone within a mile radius of the couple paused for a brief moment and starred in the direction of the couple as their killing intent grew.
Hilda took a step back, her tears completely forgotten as she regarded Oga, his eyebrows were knit in a scowl as he took slow deep breaths and waited.
It was like a solider standing in front of his general, waiting for his command. Even the hight difference did nothing to destroy the mood in that room. Hilda had an air of authority surrounding her as she spoke.
"No less than six feet."
Her voice was stern as she gave her command. Oga only nodded and took off in to a sprint down the hall with only one thing on his mind.
Hilda only stood in the room for a few more moments before she moved over to a table off to the side. She grabbed her engagement and placed it back on her finger.
She then sauntered towards the door, her hands gently caressing her belly, one above while the other was below. She reached the hallway where Yolda and Lamia were still standing. Hilda nodded to Yolda as she walked up to Lamia, who handed her Beel and proceeded to walk down the hallway.
Yolda watched her sister curiously. She had an air of authority in the way she sauntered down the hall with Beel on her shoulder. She felt uneasy, but not from fear, but from the killing intent that still rolling off the duo.
Hilda stopped and looked over her shoulder at the two still standing in the hallway.
"What are you two waiting for. You're going to miss going to miss the festivities." She said and shot them both a smirk, before she proceeded down the hallway again.
"What is the meaning of this, Behemoth?" Mammon questioned the old commander from a balcony over looking the courtyard. He had been on his way to torture and kill the contractor and put his plan in motion when his castle was rocked with a explosion. He was less then pleased to find out that it was Behemoths Pillar army that was behind it.
"You have some friends of ours that we want back." Behemoth stated, his smirk never leaving his face. It wasn't completely a lie, but it also wasn't totally the truth.
"And what makes you think I'll just hand them over to you willingly." Mammon question sceptically.
"I didn't." Behemoth stayed simply. "So I decided to take them by force." He said motioning to the battle that was raging in the courtyard.
Mammon was about to retort when he hesitated, noticing the battle around him pause for a split second and feeling the killing intent baring down around them. He felt his knees go weak for a second before he concentrated and mentally pushed it aside.
"It doesn't matter anyway. I will succeed with my plan for power and the throne will be mine." Mammon explained.
Behemoth smirk only grew as he felt the killing intent grow. The plan was moving along perfectly. He was going to enjoy what happened next.
"MAMMON!" A booming voice rang out throughout the court yard. The battle seemed to pause again as everyone turned their attention to the lone figure standing in the courtyard. Mammons scowled as he recognized the lone figure.
"So the contractor has come to die?" Mammon asked mockingly. "Your making this too easy."
"If anyone's going to die here, it's going to be you!" Oga shouted pointing at Mammon.
"Now you're starting to piss me off." Mammon growled.
"That's my line." Oga shot back. "Now why don't you come down here so I can kick your ass!"
"That's it!" Mammon shouted and he jumped down from the balcony. "Now we get serious." He said removing his suit jacket.
"That's what I've been waiting for." Oga said as they got set, standing across from each other in the centre of the courtyard.
Everyone fell silent as the crowd watched the two leaders of each side stare each other down.
It was in that moment that Hilda strolled into courtyard along with Yolda and Lamia. She looked like a goddess watching two warriors fight to the death from the sidelines with the smallest hint of a smirk on her lips. Mammons gaze strayed from Oga when he noticed her.
"How did you get out?" He questioned but he didn't give her time to answer him. "It doesn't matter, I'll get to you once I'm done with him." He said, but had to suddenly jump back to dodge the punch aimed for his face.
"You should keep your eyes on your opponent instead of his woman." Oga said.
"Your woman?!" Mammon exclaimed. "She is leagues above you. She will never be your woman." Mammon spat out.
Before Mammon could recover, Oga was on him again, throwing a kick forwards his sternum, that he just barely dodged again, but Oga kept coming, fuelled by his anger towards this man.
Threatening Hilda was one thing, but threatening his not only his family, but his unborn child was unacceptable, and only punishable to the highest degree in Ogas books.
Oga could here Beel cheering him on as he threw punch after punch at Mammon. He would make this man pay.
Mammon was having a hard time dealing with the sheer number of punches being thrown his way And it looked like Oga was not going to quit anytime soon. Each punch was vicious as they sought out vital parts of his body. He was just barely able to dodge most of them and his arms were beginning to bruise from the ones he had to block.
Oga kept coming. He threw a right, then a left, then a uppercut. Mammon just barely dodged the right and blocked the left with a pained wince but he never saw the uppercut as it connected with his jaw and sent him flying.
He hit the ground hard, but he was not finished. He had had enough of this one side affair. Gathering his demonic power, he began channeling it in to his right fist. Tendrils of black miasma bagan to surround his fist as it was powered up. He was going for broke, putting all his power into the one punch.
Oga noticed the demonic power growing and got ready himself. Both Hilda and Beel felt the pull on their power as he charged up for his next attack.
"Your going down contractor, even if it's the last thing I do!" Mammon shouted the last four words as he leapt forward.
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Oga shouted out as he charged at Mammon.
Their powers clashed in the middle of the courtyard, a shockwave buffeting the crowd around as the watched the two combatants fight with all their power to see who would come out on top.
The two powers clashed in the middle, lightning cracking all around and thunder booming as they both yelled from the stress of using their full potential. Then suddenly like it started, it all ended as a loud explosion was heard and a dust cloud was kicked up in the air.
Everyone raised their hands to protect their eyes and Beel huddled behind Hilda's back as the dust cloud buffeted them.
Once the dust settled, Oga was the only one standing of the two as he stood over the prone form of Mammon, who was breathing heavily.
Oga lifted him up by his collar and held him at arms length.
"This one is for Hilda." he said throwing a punch to his gut. "This one is for me." He said as he hit him with an uppercut to the jaw that sent Mammon into the air.
"And this one is for MY FAMILY!" Oga shouted as he punched him towards the ground. Mammon hit the ground head first and was buried up to his feet.
Finally it was over. All of Mammons army stood shell shocked at what they just witnessed. Oga took a quick glance to the crowd and could see that all his friends were accounted for but their was still one that was not.
It was always a warriors duty to make sure that everyone under him was accounted for, including women and children.
Oga began to walk towards Hilda and she began taking steps towards him as well. They stopped in front of one another and starred at one another before Oga got down on to his knees a pressed the side of his head gently against her baby bump. Hilda had both of her hands on top and below her bump, gently caressing it.
Everyone was silent as they watched the scene unfold in front of them, most of them understanding what was going on.
A little time past before he finally felt it. It was a gentle tap to his cheek but he smiled as their baby gently kicked him in the face, telling the both of them the one thing that they very much needed to know. Oga wouldn't tell this to anyone but that was the only person he would ever let get away with kicking him in the face.
Oga rose to his feet and faced Hilda who was also smiling, having felt it kick as well. Oga leaned down and captured her lips in a gentle kiss.
Once they parted, Hilda slowly made her way over to Mammon. A few of his soldier had pulled him out of the hole that, unsurprisingly, was six feet deep. He was battered and bruised as Hilda knelt down beside his form.
"You asked me why I chose Oga." Hilda began. "The reason I chose him was because he is a better man than you or anyone else will ever be."
With that said, Hilda rose to her feet and walked back to Oga. Once she was beside him, Oga wrapped an arm around her shoulders and they began the journey back home.
'Oga Tatsumi is a true warrior.' Behemoth thought as he watch the couple leave the courtyard. Most of his army began to follow them too, as Mammons army had surrendered after the defeat of their leader.
Behemoth had found out exactly what he suspected were Mammons motives. Behemoth had once tried the same thing, going after the power in Agatha's family. When Yolda had been chosen to be En's wet-nurse he had chuckled at his luck thinking that that power had been brought to his doorstep. He had planned to marry Yolda off to his son, but his plans were interrupted when he found out that the power was bestowed upon the first born child, and Yolda was not the first born.
So he changed plans to kidnap Hilda, erase her memories and force her to marry his son, but it seemed that Oga had already had a hold on her.
Agatha had found out after that and ordered that he leave her family alone, but during that meeting he had learned one crucial detail that would have foiled his plans from the beginning. The child had to be conceived out of love for the power to be passed on.
In other words, a forced child, first born or not, will not be bestowed the power, so for now Behemoth would stay at bay and watch from a distance. As much as he lusted for power, he was not stupid enough to go against Agatha's words. He already knew what it's like to be on the wrong side of a demoness.
Behemoth chuckled to himself as he exited the courtyard and head home to his castle. 'Today was a good day.'
It was morning when Oga and Hilda made it home from Mammons castle. It had been a long nignt and they both wanted to just put the nights events behind them. Yolda had brought them home after she made sure that her niece was ok.
Once they got to their room Hilda immediately stripped out of her dress, having worn it for over a day and a half. She found one of Ogas shirts and put it on as Oga took off his own tattered shirt and placed Beel on the bed before laying on it himself. Hilda smiled to herself as his scent wafted into her nose and a comfortable feeling washed over her, before sbe joined him on the got comfortable beside him, using his shoulder as a pillow.
Baby Beel crawled onto the spot on top of both of them and snuggled into the both of them. They both placed a hand over him protectively as he fell asleep.
Hilda leaned a bit more into Oga and he could feel the side of her baby bump gently press against his side. He smiled as he wrapped his other arm around her waist and rested his hand on her bump as they both fell into a comfortable sleep. Ogas smile never faltering as the soon to be family of four slept peacefully together for the rest of the day.
Alright with the end of this chapter, the next will have something I believe a lot of you have probably been waiting the entire story for.
The birth of their child.
But I need your help. I would love if you guys could send me some names that I can use for the baby, in a PM or review or even an email if you want. The gender of the name doesn't matter and neither if it's a Japanese name or not. I will be putting up a poll in two week to help select the name.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
Read and review.
Till next time.
