Finally, they were back out in the open sea again and they had put on some clean clothes. after their adventure on Little Garden. Magnelia was exhausted and felt weak after had died and returned. After she had changed to her gray jeans and a light purple tank top, she took a seat on a sun chair on the sundeck. She was holding her crystal in her hand and looked at it. She now really understands how important it was to her. How important the crystals have been to all the witches through the history. She smiled and put the crystal inside her top again.

Zoro had taken Magnelias death harder then he thought. But he assumed it was because of his childhood memory's from when Kuina died. He didn't want to lose somebody again. It would be his second goal, he decided to him self. First was to never lose a fight again after Mihawk and the second one was to never lose someone close again.
He looked at Magnelia and started to think about what it was he was drawn to about her. It didn't matter how much he tried to twist and turn it, he could put his finger on it.
She's really pretty, without a doubt. Even though she had those circles under her eyes. But that little detail was overshadowed her big, curious eyes. She laughed with him when made a bad joke. Even though it seemed like she didn't understand them.

He shook off those thoughts away. He almost sunk into the thoughts about why he found so attractive about her. He needed to be focused if something happened.
Magnelia looked at him while he sat there by the railing and stared at her. She had notice that he got a small smile on his face while he looked at her and then shook his head and suddenly look stern like he usually do.
What was that about? He's strange man, that Zoro. Magnelia thought to her self.
Did she see me? I sure hope not! Zoro thought in panic.
They kept staring at each other, like they were waiting for one of them to talk. But that never happen.

"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Vivi screamed out loud.
Magnelia and Zoro ran to the mast, they knew Vivi and Nami had seated them self there to discuss the trip.
"Vivi!? What happen?" Magnelia asked worried while the rest of the crew got there.
"It's Nami, She has a really high fever!" Vivi answered.
"Take her immediately to the girls room. I might be able to help." Magnelia ordered.

Nami was laid down in her bed with a cold and wet towel on her forehead and she was breathing heavy.
Magnelia looked through her books to see if she could find anything about illnesses and healing. Unfortunately, she could not find anything. She took a deep breath in frustration.
"Is there anything you can do, miss Magnelia?" Vivi asked.
"How strange it might sound, I don't have any books about medicine or healing. They might still be at my home island. But we don't have the time to go and look for them. We need to get to a random island and visit a doctor there." Magnelia answered with a sad look on her face.
"There must be something you can do, Magnelia-san?!" Sanji cried.
Magnelia thought about it for a minute. Then she hit her fist in her hand and smiled.
"There is something that I can do!" She answered happily and took out her crystal.
Magnelia sat down on her knees next to Namis bed and holed her necklace over Namis head.
"When I was younger, I came up with a spell that makes the crystal seek for the source to mine or my parents injures or illnesses. This fever was a little too sudden for my taste. Sök diagnos!*"
Magnelia held her necklace over Namis head. No reaction. She continued to her throat. Nothing at all. She went down to Namis chest to see if the source was in her lungs or heart. Magnelia took a silent sigh of relief.
When she got to stomach, the crystal started to glow in a swampgreen like light.
"There it is!" Magnelia smiled.
"Woooooh! Awesome!" Luffy and Usopp cheered.
"Can I lift the cover and have a look Nami?" Magnelia asked.
Nami nodded weakly to her.

Magnelia moved the covers and then lifted Namis shirt. There it was. It was a black and blue spots that had spreed around her stomach.
"Oh my God... It must be some kind of bug bite. Must have happen at Little Garden." Vivi said while Magnelia tucked Nami back.
"But if Nami's sick, all she need to do is to eat some meat and the she gets better. Right, Sanji?" Luffy smiled.
"I can cook some healthy food to Nami, but some meat can not cure a bad case of fever." Sanji answered his captain while looking down.
"Good then, get to the kitchen and get started Sanji. Mom always said that when you get sick, it is always good to at a little, drink a lot of water and resting a lot." Magnelia smiled kindly to Sanji.
Sanji ran up to the kitchen and had heartshaped smoke clouds after him.
Magnelia kickked out Luffy and Usopp and helped Vivi cleaning the bug bite and keep the fever in check.

Magnelia got a lot on her hands since Zoro change the directions. Magnelia had both the log post and eternal post. Nami had showed Magnelia the basics of navigation. Vivi ran up on deck.
"Is something wrong, Vivi?" Magnelia asked.
"We have to get to Alabasta as fast as possible. So that's why we have to find a doctor. So Nami-san can well again so we can get this ship to it's fullest speed to Alabasta." Vivi had made her decision. Alabasta could wait a day or two.
Everyone in the crew nodded in agreement and they started to sail shout.

After they started to sail south, Zoro never left Magnelias side. She thought it was cute in the beginning. He sat next to her during dinner. He sat a few feet away from her while she was reading. But her irritation started to grow inside her when he followed her to the girls room or stood outside while she was in the bathroom.
This is driving me insane! What does he want? Magnelia started to walk faster away from him.
She started to hid her self in the tangerine trees, behind barrels, in the storage, even in the closet in the girls room.
Finally she gave up and sat down next to him in her bed and both kept their eyes on Nami, who was sleeping and Vivi that slept on the floor next to her. They both were quiet.

Zoro fell asleep on Magnelias bed. She saw her chance and took it. She sneaked out of the bedroom with a book under her arm and got a fast as she could up to the crow nest.
Usopp had watch duty this night, but he was sleeping like a rock.

Magnelia found a blanket and sweep it around her. She took her crystal and used it for light so she could read in the night dark. She read about witches love life and more about how that worked. In short, a witch only has one male partner in her lifetime. They can only have children with that person. Which killed her hopes about sisters and brothers out there in the world. It also said that when a witch declare her love to a person, it is forever. And when that happens, the witch gets a very strong bond to that person, they can feel their emotions and knowing if they are healthy or not. Even if that person is on the other side of the globe.
That explains why mother always knew that father was well and did think about us.
Magnelia smiled to the sky.
After have read the book, she started to think. She is now 18 years old and will be a full grown witch when she turns 20. She have to then make her self a big staff and learn to fly with it. There was one problem though. She is terrified of heights. She got sick just thinking about it. Speaking of which…
How will I get down from here!?
"Oh no... I'm already a worthless witch." Magnelia felt a tear running down to her jaw.
Magnelia crawled into her blanket and cried.

Zoro woke up and saw that he had been siting in Magnelias bed and slept. Thank God that Sanji or the girls had seen him there. Zoro pulled out Vivi mattress and pillow and tucked her in there carefully.
I have to find Magnelia. Zoro thought to him self before he went out on deck to find her.
After he had looked for her in 20 minutes, he decided to go inside to look for her. That was when he heard sobbing.
He turned his eyes up to the crow nest and climbed up.

"What are you doing up here?" Zoro asked Magnelia while he got in there and sat in front of her.
She never looked up on him. She was to ashamed of her self and didn't want to tell him what was wrong. He had other plans.
"Oi, why are you not answering me?" Zoro started to sound irritated in his voice and he had put his hand on her shoulder and shook lightly.
She slapped his hand off of her shoulder. This hurt him a little. He had had her in his arms, cared her and almost cried over her. And she knows this. Why did she slap him away from her like that?
She tried after a while wipe the tears off, but couldn't do it. They kept coming.
"I will never be the world greatest witch." She finally said.
"What? What do you mean by that?"
"I'm scared of heights! When a witch becomes an adult at 20, she has to learn to fly. That will never happen to me and now I'm stuck here!" She cried even more.
It took a while for Zoro to take in what she had said. He took a deep breath.
"Listen now. You were born a witch, maybe not growing up like one, like your mother or other witches before you. But you do have some books with you and you said there are more at you home island. Yeah, I heard some of what you said while helping Nami. We will get you there and help you with your dream." He stopped all of a sudden.
Magnelia looked at him. she didn't cry anymore.
Zoro blushed and and turned his eyes the other way.
"What I'm trying to say is, that we are your nakamas now. We fight together to get to our dreams. If you get up to a height and can't get down, like now, I'll help you down... for example." Zoro felt how his heart started to beat faster and faster in his chest.
Magnelia smiled and throw herself at him with her arms around his neck.
Zoro blushed even more, but put his arm around her waist and hug her.
"Thank you." She sobbed.
