hey so i wasnt fully sure about this chapter so i want your full advice on it. enjoy and please, please do review. oh and sorry but its another short chapter

Sitting in the safe room clustered around the smallish room, most of us in total panic. Sense it is now only the six of us the rebel attacks have become more intense and happen way more. The four other girls, well other then Celeste, are all pacing around the room tears staining their eyes. The Queen is sitting in her usual corner doing paper work, the King and Maxon are speaking with a general in hushed voices. This attack is one of our worse, Natalie never made it to the safe room and we all thought of the worse that she was killed or capture ands going to be torture to death.

Trapped in the cramped safe room anxiety building up was like torture in its self all I wanted to know was if Natalie was still in the palace. As we left the safety of the room we quickly found out that sadly she wasn't in the grounds of the palace. Out of nowhere tears just start streaming from my face. Soon I realize my true colors are finally coming out, I must not be anger and bitter towards anyone anymore.

I run to my room to check on my maids, worried to death especially knowing how Lucy gets. As soon as I get into my room I'm met with panicked crying maids in a tight circle rocking back and forth. Together we clasp in a hugging mess back onto the ground comforting Lucy. Whilst crying on the floor with my absolutely astonishing maids a brief knock comes to the door and before any of us could get up Maxon trudges through the door. Seeing that all of us are crying on the floor, shaking, Maxons emotionless face changes quickly to concerned marked all over it. Quickly I get up and try pulling myself together as best as I can. We both instinctively race over to each other and join together in a hug bear hug, Maxon knowing I needed it badly. The hug actually was very nice I enjoyed being in Maxons embrace and as much as I wanted to stop myself from admitting something was there I loved him as a dear friend. Slowly I pull away so I could look at Maxon in the face, "Maxon"

"Yes Darling" sympathy with a little of concern marking his voice.

" Can we write letters to all the fallen soldiers and castle workers family, especially sense it's the big attack sense I've been here?" shyly I said as a little girl to sad to speak would sound.

"That's a great idea and it is the biggest attack ever and the most people died in this one, sadly" his voice full of sadness.

"Maybe you could even give an award with it, something like a medal? It would also be nice to do a gun salute to the fallen ones of the war and of all the rebel attacks, something to truly honor them."

"Wow you truly care about this, don't you?" slightly surprised Maxon spoke.

"Ya I've always cared I just was so angry and bitter I didn't allow myself to care and I was so mean to you, kind of to everyone. I am so sorry Maxon for the way I have been acting sense the day I got here I was truly just acting like a kid and allowing my emotions to take a hold of my actions. I'm so sorry." The embarrassment from my actions showing through along with the apologetic tone in my voice.

"Ames I loved you for what you didn't show I've always known you had that love and care your showing in you it just wasn't coming. I know you were hurt its alright." Maxon truly cared.

My blissful sleep is taken away by the beeping of my alarm, and with that I have to get started with the day of long practice. Today's the day before the anniversary ball and I really have to get serious on practicing all the songs. this means no thinking, pondering on the dream from last night.

That latest dream was deeper, what about sweet Natalie, is she safe, whose the other four that are left?
