Hello my readers! I have gotten some good reviews and many likes. I'm glad many of you are enjoying it. Some characters will die way before they do in canon or not die in canon. Another short chapter as I get my thoughts around on where I want this story to go.

Recap: Zabuza is off making an alliance with the rebels of mist. Kyuubi has taken back his throne. Naruto is maintaining order in the village as it grows as well as keeping a surprise alive for now.

Chapter 10: Battle in Mist and another Jinjuriki

Naruto was currently training his weapon skills. The katana he held in his hand had a black blade with a white hand guard, foxes ran along the sheath of the katana. Naruto held the flat of the katana facing his face as brownish tree leaves fell from the trees all around him. On an unknown signal disappeared in a blur before reappearing the leaves all around him split apart. With a flick of his hand he sheathed the blade and walked back towards the tower. It has been two months since Zabuza and Kyuubi left to gain alliances. This of course worried him but he knew that this would take a while for them to return he was just grateful that they checked in two weeks.

Walking through the the village Naruto greeted many of the civilians and ninja's. He gently clutched at his slight baby bump. He was pregnant and neither possible fathers were here. Sighing softly Naruto thought of most of the people who joined the village. Many people from Wave who no longer had homes came here and were accepted with open arms. The village gate was protected by the barrier even while open allowing them to have contact to the outside world while also being able to be protected. Karin had been helping him as an assistant along with Haku. Both were learning medical ninjutsu and so therefore helped each other. There also were many missing ninja's that grew tired of running and came to Uzugakure seeking asylum from their crimes. Naruto didn't turn them away right away, instead he investigated why they were missing ninja's and if they were telling the truth.

Many of the missing ninja's were not given asylum after all if they were high ranking it would bring the power of the other ninja villages down on them and they currently didn't want that. Zabuza had sent many bloodline holders who couldn't protect themselves or help in the rebellion. Naruto was seen by many of the children as a mother/older sister figure for those who didn't have one. Many orphans lived in the village with good caretakers. The village was still growing after all. Currently Karin and the demon brothers were away ransacking any and all labs or bases of Orochimaru's looking for any stable ninjas willing to live here. Kurama had sent multiple half and full demons to help protect the village that grew every day it seemed.

Just as he was about to walk into the tower he was stopped but one of the gate guards sudden appearance. Looking up at the tall man, darn his shortness, the man told him a leader of a ninja village were at the gate and wanted to talk. Following the guard to the gate he came face to face with the orange haired man with the Rinnegan eyes along with the man with the orange spiral mask. "Hi I'm Pein and I wish to speak of an alliance." The orange haired man said in a gravely voice. Naruto frowned as the guard behind him froze before the kunai held in his hand could reach the teen's neck. "Mind control won't work on me and using something that was gifted to humans by demons at that will never work." Naruto's eyes turned to ice as he looked towards the man in the orange mask.

With Zabuza

Zabuza stood by Mei as she took the hat of the Mizukage. The rebels were victorious over the mist ninja. It was odd though since the previous kage was found dead already as they had entered the tower. After the discovery of the body the other ninja's surrendered and now followed Mei. Zabuza was still surprised at how short it took them to take over control of the country especially after such a anticlimactic conclusion to the rebellion. Zabuza couldn't wait to get back to his lover.

The people of the Mist cheered and started to celebrate the coming of a new leader. Mei looked very drunk as she hanged off of one of her new bodyguards and an advisor Ao. The man had an eye patch over his right eye hiding the Byakugan eye underneath. Zabuza sighed as he downed another saucer of sake he wished he was will his love. He wondered as he watched the mist ninjas if Naruto was okay.

With Kyuubi

Kyuubi had started to right the wrongs of the false demon lords. In the two months he's been here he took all demons who abused their political power out of power. The demons both submissive and dominate worked together better now. And with some power delegations he didn't have paperwork. He unfortunately couldn't go back to his lover yet.

Multiple factions of demons have tried to take his throne. Many of them were lesser snake demons like those of the two he killed to take over. They didn't pose that much of a problem even if they believed they did. Kyuubi had the backing of a returned tailed beast Isobu the three tails. Kyuubi was told his holder was not only controlled by a Sharingan user but also was killed by the man after he couldn't extract him from the boy. Sighing Kyuubi sat back thinking about Naruto.

With Naruto

The man in the orange masked flinched before trying his hardest to have the guard kill the supposed kage. The guard couldn't budge as the air around them became heavy with killer intent. "You come to my village to ask for a supposed alliance only to have one of your people use a form of mind control?" Naruto growled out as golden chains slithered into the air behind him. Pein was surprised as his main body Nagato was an Uzumaki and the chains were a dead give away. He didn't believe that the person who had restored the city was an Uzumaki at first but now he did. Before he could tell Tobi to stand down the man tried to use his mind control on the boy once again until he yelled out in pain his eye catching on fire with a purple flame. Pein blinked in surprised as Tobi was killed the purple flame consuming him easily.

The guard behind Naruto gasped as he dropped down onto his butt. He begged for forgiveness from his kage who already forgave him. Naruto's blue eyes glared into that of Pein's rinnegan willing the man to try anything. Naruto eyes then widened as the man before him bowed and said that he still wanted an alliance. Amegakure and the Akatsuki needed more allies after all. Allowing the man to enter the barrier they went to the tower and started talking about an alliance.
