Author's note: This chapter simply gives an insight of Keima's gaming habits and the build-up of "Fallen God".
========== Chapter 10: Book of Wisdom ==========
When Keima got inside the house, his mother greeted him happily. Mari is quite happy as Keima's dad, Keiichi, had called her an hour before Keima arrived telling her some good news. The good news is that Keiichi managed to send a special package which Mari wants and is scheduled to arrive after a week. But Keima seems to be uninterested in the matter thinking that it's probably something related to her hobbies. Keima knows full well that her mother has an interest in bikes and motorcycles as she used to be part of a biker gang prior to meeting Keiichi during her teenage days. Afterwards, he then went inside his room to play the games that he just bought. The first game that he bought is named Innocent Smile. Keima looked at the game's box and saw that it was made by Atlis, a game company based in Narusawa city. He then read all of the information listed on the box before playing the game. "Hmm... looks like this game is worth the cost", Keima said as he looked at the heroine of game, Sanae Fujiwara. The game itself is a galge with a harem approach to it as Sanae isn't the only girl that can be conquered in the game. However, Keima seems to get hooked up to Sanae as all of the actions he did in-game are all directed to her. It became quite clear that capturing Sanae have became Keima's priority in his first playthrough of the game. It took him about an hour before he managed to finish Sanae's route. The reason why he took so long was that Sanae was able to catch Keima's interest considering how finely drawn she is. This is all thanks to the design artist that drew her in the first place. Her long crimson-colored hair tied in a blue ribbon together with her innocent blue eyes and youthful look of her face did a nice means of attracting Keima. As soon as Keima managed to finish the game, he immediately played the game again to get the routes of the other girls that can be conquered as well. After he managed to finish every girl's route, he played the game again but this is Keima's attempt to get all the girls in one swoop although Sanae took priority. After some moments later, he was able to end the game with all of the girls captured. Afterwards, he played the other games that he bought from the game store. With little effort and thanks to his God Mode, he was able to finish them in less than an hour. Innocent Smile seems to be the only one that gave Keima quite a challenge.
With all of the games finished, Keima turned on his computer to make a walkthrough for the games he just finished. As soon as the computer lit up, he then went to his site. Much to his amazement, the number of visits of his website increased drastically. "I'm sure there were just 16 views when I made this site", Keima said as he see a 5-digit count listed as views for his website. "Oh well, I still need to do something", Keima said to himself. He immediately created a webpage where he typed the walkthroughs of the games that he played. Each game got one page. However, Keima made several pages for Innocent Smile with the other pages containing information about the heroines of the game especially Sanae. "Wait...", Keima said to himself, "I should also write profile pages for the other heroines to make it fair". The moment Keima realized that the heroines of the other games must also have their own profile pages, he immediately sent himself to work to do it. For the heroines that he wasn't able to work on their pages for the night, he left a page for them with a notice "Profile page under construction". As soon as he was able to build the profile pages, he then worked on the home page of his site to include a notice "More games will be coming soon" implying that he'll be adding more games in the future. After all was done, Keima then played Innocent Smile again implying that he was hooked up by the game than the other ones he bought.
I'm currently making chapter 11 and trying my best to make it look better than the last ones. I'm not sure when I will be able to update this but chapter 11 will be coming soon. Anyways, pardon me if the chapters seem "short".
