Hey so last chapter not my biggest hit. I get it, it sucked. I kind of winced when I put it up. But hey we all have our off days and that was mine, so I won't let that take me down. Well, here's the next chapter. One of the comments I got the other day told me I should elaborate more of Chris and Natasha's relationship. I'm still thinking on it. I first thought that they should be enemies but Chris has Tony already so I mean what am I going to do with her? So I'm gonna play with their relationship in my head a little for now. But if you guys have any ideas give me a message and I will definitely consider it. Again you guys are the reason I write, so GIVE ME A REASON TO WRITE! Ha ha I talk too much so here is the next chapter of Miss Avenger. By the way I DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT own the Avengers. (Though I secretly wish I did.)

Chapter 10: Is That My Suit? : POV Chris

I slammed the door to my room. That stupid coach what does he knows? This is the third game I've been to that I haven't been able to play in. He says he only let me on the team because Mr. Parker told him I had to join. He thinks because I'm a girl that I can't play football. Well, it helps with my sentence, at least it's easy. But his sexist ideals drive me insane. My teachers aren't helping as well. Mr. Abernathy gave us labs every night so I was busy with his work. Mrs. Conner's didn't give out homework but she was so boring that I couldn't stay awake. In gym dodge ball was the most deadly combat I ever entered. And Ms. Romanoff gives me loads of art homework and it's pointless to do because she doesn't even look at it when we finish it and then she tries to criticize my work when she can barely draw a stick figure.

Then I had her at home looking over my shoulder every minute of every day. What is her issue? Ever since she slammed me against the wall she gives me death glares every time I breathe. I needed a breather but no one can give me one. Everywhere I turn someone is there. It's not like I don't like helping Mr. Banner with his experiments, or training with Clint, or even hanging with dad or the girls but I couldn't stand it anymore. I needed to get away. I changed into some jeans and a t-shirt. I looked outside of my room to check for others. I closed the door slowly and walked throughout the building. It seemed that everyone was gone. I went to the counter and found a note.

Dear Chris,

We all went out on a mission and won't be back till Monday. Tony is here to keep an eye on you. Have a nice weekend and I can't wait to get back to my two most important things in the world.

Love,

Dad (Captain America)

P.S. Watch out and make sure Tony doesn't drink any alcohol. We have been working with his alcohol problems.

I snickered. So I only have to share the tower with Tony. This would be a great time to go and steal those test results. I need to know what is going on in my head. I walked over to the elevator and took it down a few floors to Tony's office. I opened the door quietly and looked around. Papers and electronics and gadgets were sprawled everywhere. I scoped the area before entering. I looked over and found a couch. I tiptoed to the couch and looked at who was laying on it. Tony had fallen asleep and looked like he had taken some sleeping pills as well. He has been up the past few nights and he needed to sleep. He has insomnia so he takes these every once and a while.

I decided to get my revenge for almost giving me purple hair. I ran back to the elevator, went upstairs and grabbed a bottle of wine. I opened it up and poured a little down the drain. I ran back down to his lab and put the bottle up to him so he would cuddle with it. I snickered and looked around the room looking for the results. I started with his desk and then at the machine. I went to his file cabinet and found a file with my name on it. I picked it up and sat down. Apparently Tony did some research on me. He had every file, every document, just anything he could find it was in here. He had medical records on everything: asthma, illnesses, sleeping illnesses, the accident. I flipped over to more recent documents and I found S.H.E.I.L.D records of my testing and theories. They were crazy, one was that my mother had created a portal to the future but before she could go through and test it I accidentally fell in. S.H.E.I.L.D is a nut job organization.

I was tired of looking at the theories and went over to the last paper. That is where my test results were. I looked over them for a moment. No source, what the hell? This can't be true. There has to be a source. Even if I had night terrors they still have a source. I crumpled the piece of paper and threw it across the room. As a rational person I would have gone to the training room and beat a few robots up and shot down a few targets. I wouldn't get in trouble and later I could confront my dad and Tony in a rational and calm way. But this wasn't the case. I needed to get out of here. But not with my motor cycle, oh no no that would not help me at all. I needed a better way of getting out. I paced the room swiping anything I could off the desk.

Just anything I touched went through a window or worse exploded. But I didn't care I was so raging mad and I couldn't help it. I slammed my fists on the table and a dent appeared. I needed to stop destroying the freaking lab, Tony will wake up or worse I could have to pay millions of dollars for equipment. I looked around fervently and then a shiny object caught my eye and I smiled turning towards it. I don't know how to work it but I could learn. I walked with purpose all the way to the Iron Man suit. My brain was screaming at me to stop but my anger was screaming yes. My general would be ashamed but at this point I felt nothing but the urge to mess something up. I touched the suit and it opened on its own. I smiled perfect. I stepped inside and closed myself inside. The lights and functions started up. I had no clue what to do after that.

Everything was confusing, weird, and bright. I took one step and created a crater in the floor. I took another step and did the same thing. Damn it, how do I put on the thrusters? As soon as the thought popped into my head they turned on and slammed me through a wall. It slung me in the air left and right and then in circles. I was getting really dizzy when the machine finally stopped. I think the machine works on thought, go left GENTLY. It moved me to the left as softly as possible. Wow, that was easier than I thought it would be. Man I can be an idiot sometime.

Go right. The suit flew me to the right. This is going to be so awesome. Now what should I do? I should go to the park, no see coach and freak him out so badly he pees himself, better yet go throw rocks into the Grand Canyon to freak people out. Those were all good ideas but there was something else that would be so much better than that, who is Tony Stark's mortal enemy. There has to be one that I could do something to mess with Tony. I thought on it for a while. Tony has many enemies but which one would have the biggest impact and the worst after effect. I though on it some more hoping something would hit me and it did, a freaking huge blimp hit me with the answer. As soon as I looked at that Justin Hammer's blimp I knew what I should do. Suit take me to Justin Hammer's Tower. All of a sudden I was shooting towards the tower as fast as it could. I hit a few birds but they were okay, they kept on flying.

I came to a quick stop right in front of the building. Only inches away from me, I stared at the big ugly building that stood in the beautiful city of New York. I looked it over and a smiled crept onto my face. Well, better get started.

Captain America (Steve Rogers)

"Guys I'm home early!" I yelled out.

I looked around and found Chris coming down the stairs.

"Dad what are you doing home, I thought you were on a big mission and wouldn't be back till Monday."

I chuckled as I gave her a hug.

"Well, the mission did not require me since I kind of got shot and need time to heal so I'm home."

Chris smiled up at me.

"Well, then you lie down and get some rest I going to get you something to eat, soup okay?" she asked walking towards the kitchen.

I wasn't that badly injured but I wasn't going to bust her bubble. Any time with my daughter is better than no time. I went over to the couch and l sat down. I grabbed the remote and turned on the TV hoping to get a glance of the mission. But when I turned it on I found something so much worse. I saw Hammer's building on fire, all the windows broken, and the words burnt into the side of it "Hammer Kiss my Drunken Ass." Oh, it got worse. They put a play back and showed the Iron Man suit destroying the building. Oh please tell me Tony didn't do this. I stood up quickly and ran to the elevator.

"Dad where are you going," I heard Chris yell out.

I ignored her as I took the elevator down to Tony's office. When I got to his floor I stormed out of the elevator and to his office. When I got there the place was a wreck, there were dents and papers everywhere and a small fire in the corner. I stormed in and walked over to his couch and found him sleeping peacefully with a bottle of wine in his arms. It was empty and I saw that a little bit had gotten on the floor. I was furious; I couldn't believe that he did it. He got himself drunk and then vandalized a building. I thought he had given this up after the break through we had about a year ago. He looked so peaceful, not for long. I grabbed his shoulder and shook hard.

He awoke harshly and fell off the couch. I stomped my foot as he looked up at me.

"Hey baby you're home early." He got up and tried to give me a hug.

I side stepped it.

"Don't you baby me; I thought you were done with this."

He looked confused. I picked up the bottle and shoved it in his face.

"This, I thought you stopped getting super drunk and destroying everything!" I yelled louder.

"What, I didn't drink this."

I was beyond mad.

"Oh yeah then how do you explain the bottle, the mess in the lab, and the chaos you caused in the city."

I grabbed the remote and changed it to the news. Tony looked at the screen and looked at me.

"What do you have to say for that?" I growled.

"I swear I didn't do any of that." He yelled back.

I was about to yell at him again when I saw Chris standing outside the door. She looked a little upset and she just walked away. I sighed, this was not good.

"Honey we will talk about this later and figure this out but I need to go check on Chris."

He humphed and I had the first realization. Tony didn't like Chris. That was the reason there were so many pranks going on and the scowls they gave each other. Maybe this has something for the fact that there may be some bad blood between them. I walked out the door as Tony grabbed a broom and started to clean up. I caught the elevator just in time before Chris could leave. She stood there at attention and she only did that when she felt she was in trouble or something was wrong. We stood there in silence, until she finally spoke.

"I found the test results."

She found them oh god, I ran my hand through my hair. This was not Tony. It was Chris.

"You destroyed the lab and Hammer's tower, didn't you?"

She nodded. I pressed the emergency stop button so we were stopped between floors.

"Chris why did you do that?" I growled.

"Because sir, I was angry, I was angry that Tony may have screwed with the results and kept me with my night terrors, he doesn't like me."

"I noticed that Tony …." She interrupted me.

"Because I don't like him either."

I sighed. Both of them hate each other, no wonder she tried to object that first day. She didn't want to be around him.

"Chris, how long has this hatred been going on?"

"Since the first day I saw his face when I was ten."

Damn kid can hold a grudge.

"Well, I won't punish you I have more to deal with than this, but if I see this kind of behavior again I swear I will punish your but so hard you will wish you were back in the academy."

She nodded and pressed the button to go up and as soon as the door opened she dashed out and went to her room. I sighed now I have to go deal with the other child that lives in this tower. I went back down and Tony was still cleaning the room.

"Need help?"

"More than you think."

Tony Stark (Iron Man)

I hate that kid as much as I could possibly muster. But I have to admit she does pretty good handy work when it comes to destroying my enemies. When Cap left I burst out laughing because she also had burned a butt into the side of that building, kid knows what she's doing. But I had to toughen up when Cap came back down stairs. He walked in.

"Need help?"

Oh he is so coming back to apologies.

"More than you think."

I handed him another broom and we started to clean up the mess she left. I started to gather the papers that belonged to her file. I knew she would find out but right under my god damn nose, unbelievable.

"Look Tony, I'm so sorry for accusing you of that, I didn't think that Chris would do something like that."

I chuckled.

"Cap, kids are a pain in the ass plain and simple."

Cap shot me a look.

"Hey hear me out, she is a teenager, Steve she is a raging time bomb of hormones."

"Hahahahaha, were you like that?"

"Well give or take a few hormones."

He chuckled and smiled at me but frowned again.

"I have a very serious question for you."

I just nodded.

"You don't like her don't you?"

"I don't, we both hate each other plain and simple."

"But I want you two to get along."

I laughed.

"Getting us to agree would be like trying to mix oil and water together, it's just not going to work."

He had a puzzled look on his face and then had a bright idea.

"But can't they mix if you add other ingredients to make them mix together."

I snickered, Cap and his ability to try to bring everyone together. I dropped my broom and went over to him. I walked over to the stereo and turned it on. Planet Caravan by Black Sabbath was playing. I tapped Steve's shoulder and held out a hand.

"May I please have this dance?"

He smiled and took my hand. I pulled him close and we started to dance. I felt his head rest on my shoulder and nuzzle in like he always does when he's upset.

"What am I going with both of you?" he sighed.

I laughed.

"Well, you can love both of us for whom we are and accept the fact that we will never get along."

He jerked his head up.

"But I want both of you to get along so we can all be one big happy family."

I smiled and let him dip me.

"Well, honey, give it time maybe we will start to get along."

He pulled me back up and looked me straight in the yes.

"You really think so?" he asked.

His eyes pleaded and I couldn't rain on his parade. I kissed him on the nose and stroked his cheek.

"I promise there will be some improvement by the end October you can lock me and her up in the lab."

He laughed at my offer.

"You know I will keep you to your promise right?"
I just laughed and we kept on dancing. I'm sure he will forget this soon enough. I bet if me and Chris just play nice this will just all go away. I hate to see him so unhappy. We danced until the song was over and he was giddy by the end of it. We both went upstairs to the living room and watched movies until I fell asleep on his lap. His hands stroking my hair, humming some old war tune and a bright smile plastered on his face.
