Lee

I was out of breath. Second was better than I could have ever imagined. I couldn't even imagine how strong First must be. Sweat dripped off my face, but I didn't relax or let my guard down. I was immediately back into my defensive posture. Second stood in his black hooded cloak, not even looking the slightest bit exhausted and just watched me for the moment. He knew my fighting style from earlier today. I wait for an opening. It wasn't my style to make the first move, so he took his time, seeing if I would lose my patience and make the first move.
Second made a dash for me and he was quick too. He was coming right at me, but quickly changed direction so he would be passing my side, I moved to defend my side, but he changed again, jumping to come down upon me. He was so close when he did this that I was lucky to make the block above my head. We both pushed back and Second landed on his feet and again waited for me to move first.

"That's enough Second," spoke Lady Blue. She had been silent during all the previous spars. I was the last opponent out of the five of us that were chosen.
"I have seen enough" she said and Second put his kunai away. I lowered my weapons to my sides and bowed to Second and then again to Lady Blue before returning to stand with the other candidates against the wall.

Sakura

As soon as Eric had said farewll to me at the Leaf Village's gates I turned and made my way to the Hokage's office as quickly as I could.
I burst through the doors of her office, interrupting her conversation with Kakashi Sensei.

"Sakura!" yelled Lady Tsunade clearly annoyed by my interruption

"Sakura?" asked Kakashi concerned.
Lady Tsunade may have thought my sudden outburst was incredibly rude, but Kakashi saw that something was wrong, not that he was the type to ask out front.

"You lied to me!" I screamed, infuriated, "You knew exactly where Naruto has been all this time, but you would never tell me. He was here right in front of me and you still wouldn't even tell me!" my voice caught in my throat at the end. I was so angry, it was getting to be too much. I had been worrying about Naruto for years, fearing he was dead and Tsunade never said anything. I was hurt. Insulted.

Kakashi stepped towards me with a hand outstretched. I wasn't entirely sure if he was aware or if he had been lied to also but I appreciated that he wanted to comfort me, but he froze when Tsunade snapped.

"You barge in here and start accusing me of what exactly?" she was standing behind her desk know with her hands flat against her desk. "I haven't lied to you about anything!"

"For years I have been asking about Naruto. Where he was. If you had heard from him. When he would be coming back. And you never said anything!" I replied. I felt tears streaming down my cheeks.
"You've lied about everything!" I added "I trusted you!" my own rage was turning into embarrassment from losing it so easily. I suddenly didn't want to face Lady Tsunade anymore so I turned and ran from her office.

"Sakura!" she called after me. She didn't sound as angry anymore but I didn't stop. I ran from the building and the moment I was outside I took to the roof tops.

When I finally stopped, I was sitting by a stump. I hadn't even known where I had been going till I was here. The small area was cleared of trees with only three stumps left in the middle of the field. I sat with my back to the middle stump with my knees to my chest, hiding my face from the night sky.

"I remember the first time we were here. Do you?" started Kakashi. I hadn't even noticed his presence. I looked up to see him perched on top of the stump to my left. He wasn't looking at me. Instead he was glancing off into the trees ahead of us where the small clearing ended.
"I remember how small the three of you were. But you're all grown up now" he looked down to me now and I could tell from the look in his one visible eye that he was smiling at me. I remained silent and hugged my knees closer to me, resting my chin on my knees and staring off at the trees. Kakashi got down from his perch on the stump and sat down beside me.

"So what was all that yelling about back in the Hokages office?" he asked
Of course he couldn't just say it as "what's wrong?"

"She lied to me," I started with a soft voice "She lied about Naruto"

"What about Naruto?" he asked a little more seriously

"You don't know?" I asked looking over to him. I wanted to see his face. Did he really not know or was he just trying to act for my sake?
He shook his head to me when he saw I was watching him.
"So she wouldn't even tell you" I commented sadly, returning my gaze to the trees while Kakashi looked to the stars.

"I did ask many times too," he commented "but I guess she wasn't allowed to say anything to anyone, even us"

"But we are a team. How could she not tell us he was at least alive?" I was starting to feel a lump in my throat again

"Tell me Sakura. When did you see Naruto?" he asked softly. I never stopped to think that Kakashi would worry about him too. I felt guilty for not thinking of his feelings too.
I started from when I was attacked by the contractors in our village. I told him about the cloaked ninja, the walled village and Lady Blue's fortress and about First, Naruto and Third and I told him as much as I could about Hell's Gate and the contractors, not that I knew much about them myself.

"I just got so angry with her," I started after telling Kakashi everything "We lost Sasuke. And then Naruto is sent off on a mission to never heard from again. Why couldn't she see how that affected us," the lump in my throat broke and I started to cry again, "I…I tried to believe he would come back. Every day I hoped he would show up in the village like he was never gone, but, but after a while I, I started to think that maybe he had….died. I didn't want to be thinking like that, but no one knew where he went, no one had heard from him" my tears were making me choke so I stopped and tried to reign in my tears before I chose to speak again.

Beside me Kakashi had nothing to say. I knew he wasn't big on hugging or anything like Guy Sensei was, but just his presence was welcoming. I felt Kakashi's gaze on me so I hid my face from him.

Footsteps approaching from the trees caught our attention. When I looked up Tsunade was before us.

"Sakura, im sorry I never mentioned anything about Naruto," she began "I want you to understand that Hell's Gate is a secret shared only with the Hokage and those serving Lady Blue. I know Naruto is a member of Team 7 and I'm sorry I caused you pain, both of you."

Kakashi nodded up at Lady Tsunade. Having been with the Anbu Black Ops, he understood well the idea of secrecy. I on the other hand didn't know what to say to her. I understood, but it didn't make me feel any less hurt. Tears continued to stream down my cheeks. I felt Kakashi put an arm around me and Tsundae knelt down before me, put a hand on my knee and looked me straight in the eyes.

"Why Naruto? Why did you choose him? He's the village's jinchuriki." I asked after a long moment of silence and stillness had passed by. Having worked with Tsunade, I understood the politics revolving the jinchuriki. How important they were to the village and how much of a battle asset they were against other villages that possessed jinchuriki.

"I didn't choose him," she replied, standing up straight again "Naruto volunteered"

"Do you pledge oath to our cause?" asked Lady Blue as I knelt before her. The hall was empty other then her, Second and me. I had passed the final test. I was to be Second's new team member. Lady Blue hadn't explained what the oath was so I was hesitant. She picked up on this and added " I can not explain more until I know you will serve Second without question"

I mulled this over in my head and finally agreed. It was only then that Lady Blue explained about contractors and Hell's Gate to me and what they did here. Captured contractors and killed if necessary. After I had heard all there was for her to explain she passed me on to Second who lead me out of the hall and deeper into the fortress.

"What happens to these contractors when they are captured?" I asked Second as we walked. He was silent for a moment before replying.

"I don't know" he admitted

"You don't? Doesn't that bother you?" I asked, picking up my pace to be closer behind him.

"I don't ask. My job is to capture them, that is all" he replied without faltering. After a moment he spoke again.
"I'm going to show you to your room that you will be sharing with your other team mate, Eric. From there I will show you where you will eat, train, where we meet. Eric would usually show you all this tomorrow, but seeing as he won't be back till late tomorrow. I will show you tonight. Don't want you to wake up and be lost do we?" he asked. From his voice I picked up that he was around my age if not a bit younger and that he was smiling. It gave me an insight to his personality. He seemed like a cheerful person to me, maybe. Maybe he only acted in front of other people and Lady Blue.

"Thanks" I replied. I wanted to ask when I got to see what he really looked like but I was worried that might seem rude so I would wait till he felt comfortable enough too.
