It was very late at night. Harry and Hiroyuki were still up doing their own thing. Hiroyuki was on his laptop typing away while Harry was reading one of his new school books, A History of Magic. The albino teen was seated at the desk while the pre-teen lied down on his stomach on the bed. Harry held a palm-sized ball of light in one of his hands to use as a flashlight to read. Hiroyuki had conjured it up for him when they couldn't find any more batteries for the flashlight. It was a spell Hiroyuki had created a few years ago. And what a magnificent spell it was. Hiroyuki could roll the light around in his hand as if he had a regular toy ball in his hands (it bounces too).

With all of the light in the bedroom Harry was surprised his new owl Hedwig had managed to fall asleep in her cage. The pre-teen felt a bit of tugging at his own eyelids but tried his best to ignore them. He wanted to read more about the wizard world. To learn more about the place his ancestors had come from.

Several minutes had passed for Harry realized he was just starring at the open book and his mind wondered back to his first time in Diagon Alley with Hiroyuki and Hagrid. What was an uneventful everyday occurrence for other wizards and witches had been an adventurous shopping day for Harry, as the cross-dresser practically skipped his way through the crowds trailing behind Hagrid with Hiroyuki at his side.

They had gone to Gringotts first and boy was that a blast! The mine cart ride felt more or less like a roller coaster (he couldn't tell because he's never been on one before). Harry remembered how the adrenaline ran through his veins in surging waves of excitement as the wind blew at his hair from the speed of the mine cart.

After taking what Harry thought was a necessary amount of gold from his vault they had stopped at a second vault that was completely empty except for a small package lying in the center of them room. Harry didn't know if he should've questioned it or not but Hiroyuki looked suspiciously at it. Practically throughout the entire trip Hiroyuki was in thought and didn't talk to Harry as much as he usually did. To tell the truth, he kind of felt sad when the albino didn't look or smile, or even smirk deviously, at him; and this bothered Harry. Several times Harry tried to convince himself that he was too used to Hiroyuki making him the center of attention from the short time they have known each other and not that he likes Usami. Well, he does like Hiroyuki just not like like him. He can stand the kissing and hugging, but it didn't mean anything. It was nothing serious like marriage or something.

Okay, off topic, now getting back on. Hiroyuki was basically zoned out for most of the day except for two stops. The first time Hiroyuki came out of his zombie state was for Harry's robes measurements. Hagrid still looked a bit green from the Gringotts cart ride and had to left the two to go the Leaky Cauldron to get something that'll keep his breakfast inside his stomach from ending up on the outside.

Harry was glad that Hiroyuki had stayed with him and came back to the real world because he was kind of nervous. Not as nervous as he could have been if Hiroyuki hadn't been here but still nervous.

The two boys entered Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions.

"Hogwarts, dear?" said the squat, smiling witch dressed all in mauve before either boy could say anything.

Harry and Hiroyuki were lead to the back of the shop where another boy was getting his long robes pinned up by a second witch. Madam Malking already knew who Hiroyuki was so she only attended to Harry onto a stool.

Hiroyuki leered and pinched the bridge of his nose when recognized who that pale, pointed faced boy was.

"I know who that boy is, don't talk to him," Hiroyuki mouthed to Harry.

Harry couldn't lip read but he can vaguely make out what Hiroyuki meant.

"Hello," said the boy, "Hogwarts too?"

"Yes," Hiroyuki face palmed.

Harry gave Hiroyuki a sheepish look as the boy started talking in a bored, drawling tone. Hiroyuki tapped the spot on his forearm beside his elbow, 'One syllable responses only'.

"-don't see why first years can't have their own. I think I'll bully father into buying me one and smuggle it in somehow."

Harry almost panicked as he found himself not knowing, or having to have heard, anything the other boy was talking about. He just stayed quiet in hopes the platinum-blonde would continue the conversation as if Harry had been listening the entire time. Luck was on his side when the boy asked him a few questions that, luckily, required a one syllable answer. But Harry wished his only answer wouldn't be just, "No.". It made him feel kind of dumb and the word was starting to feel weird in his mouth the more he said it.

"I say, look at that man," the boy said suddenly.

Harry looked to the front window to see Hagrid standing there grinning at Harry. The half-giant pointed at the two large ice creams to show that he couldn't enter the store.

"That's Hagrid," the cross-dresser said. "He works at Hogwarts."

"Oh yes, I've heard of him," said the boy, "He's sort of a servant, isn't he?"

"He's the gameskeeper," Harry looked at the boy with a glare he adopted from Hiroyuki.

"Yes, exactly, I heard he's that sort of savage – lives in a hut on the school grounds and-"

"Right now the only savage I see here is you," Harry interrupted as his glare hardened.

"I'm the savage?! How dare you speak to me that way! Do you have any idea who I am?"

"No, and you shouldn't be talking bad about somebody to someone you've just met." Hiroyuki stayed on the sidelines. The albino didn't think Harry needed help in this; he was doing very well in this argument on his own, he thought.

The boy scoffed, "Whatever. Why is he even with you? Where are your parents?"

"For your information," Harry snapped, "my entire family is dead all of them! Every single one of them! I'm an orphan, I have no family whatsoever!" His visible left eye started to glow red.

"Okay, okay, just please calm down," The boy's own steel-gray eyes widened in shock, "it was just a question-"

"You're lucky that spoiled rich rat like you has both of your parents," Harry was on the verge of shouting but no one stopped him. He didn't really know for sure if this kid was wealthy but he sure acted like it.

"That's you done, my dear," the red glow faded back to emerald when Madam Malkin spoke.

"Thank you Madam Malkin," Harry said politely before hopping off the footstool. He grabbed Hiroyuki's hand and led him out the store.

Hagrid didn't get Hiroyuki an ice cream because he knew the Usami hated eating too much sugar in one day and he already had some of Harry's birthday cake for breakfast. Plus he has sensitive teeth.

After Harry and Hagrid finished their ice cream they continued on with buying Harry his school supplies: parchment, ink (multi-colored), books, a cauldron a set of scales for weighing potion ingredients, potion ingredients, a collapsible brass telescope. Harry only spoke when he had to and kept quiet when he didn't.

Hiroyuki had been in thought the entire time, but this time it wasn't about the package Hagrid took from the vault at Gringotts. He had caught sight of Harry's eyes when the left one turned red just like his right one. It's apparent that Harry has to stay calm and keep his stress levels have to stay down in order to prevent exposure of – well whatever condition Harry has.

The trio went to Ollivander's: Maker of Fine Wands. Hagrid had pulled out Harry's list.

"Now, just yer wand is left," Hagrid said.

Hiroyuki took a peek at the list, "Uh, Hagrid," he said pointing to the last, and most important, idem on the list.

"What? Oh yeah, I still haven't yeh a birthday present Harry," Hagrid turned to Hiroyuki, "Hiroyuki, would yeh go in with Harry ter get his wand while I go get his present?"

"Hai," Hiroyuki answered.

"Thank you," the half-giant took a bow in respect. "Well, I'll be back in a bit."

Hiroyuki and Harry were left alone again.

"Hey, Hiroyuki," Harry asked as they entered the wand emporium, "do you have a wand?"

"I used to," Hiroyuki replied, "but it was uncomfortable for me to use. I prefer to do wandless magic. It's much easier. Well, for me that is."

Interior of Ollivander's was tiny with only a single, spindly chair and boxes piled high up into the ceiling in the back of the building with dim lighting.

"Good afternoon," a soft voice suddenly said making Harry squeaked in fright as he jumped into Hiroyuki's arms.

An old man suddenly stood before them, his wide, pale eyes seemed to glow like two mini headlights from the gloom of the store.

"H-Hello," Harry said awkwardly, and not just because he was still in Hiroyuki's arms.

"Ah, yes," the man said, "I thought I would be seeing you soon, Harry Potter. You have your mother's eyes." He then went on about how he remembered when Harry's mother came here to get her wand and gave the description of the said wand.

The man got closer and Harry held onto Usami's pale neck even tighter. Harry wished the man would blink those silvery eyes of his at least once. It seemed like a porcelain doll blinks more than he did, or a wax sculpture. Ollivander than began talking about the description of Harry's father's as if he knew every single wand ever sold who like the back of his hand. He moved even closer. Harry was still in Hiroyuki's arms, the latter and former not making any movement of letting go, with his head turned toward Ollivander. He almost couldn't look away from those wide creepy eyes, like he was becoming hypnotized by a vampire.

Hiroyuki was reading and calculating Ollivander's actions as the old man got closer and thinking if he should move back or not. But Ollivander is just a wand maker so the albino knew he was harmless, which is why he didn't pull Harry away when a long pale finger brushed aside a few strands of Harry's hair to touch the lightning bolt on the boy's forehead above a closed right eye.

"I'm sorry to say I sold the wand that did this," Mr. Ollivander said softly, "thirteen and a half inches, Yew; very powerful wand and in the wrong hands. If I had known what that wand was going out into the world to do…"

Mr. Ollivander then turned to Hiroyuki as if he just realized the Japanese teen was the one holding Harry in his arms. "Hiroyuki Usami," he said as if he could care less if he was present or not.

"Ollivander-san," Hiroyuki greeted in the same manner. The two had a little staring contest in some kind of grudge match that Harry knew nothing about.

Feeling awkward, Harry squirmed a little bit then says, "Hiroyuki, could you put me down please?" Hiroyuki finally broke eye contact to put him down.

Mr. Ollivander then took Harry's, rather absurd, measurements. Ollivander let Harry try out some wands but before Harry could even do anything the wand would be snatched out of his hands then he was given another one. A mountain of wands had formed on the floor before they finally found the right one. Mr. Ollivander was muttering, "Curious, curious," as he wrapped up Harry's wand. This caught Hiroyuki's attention whom had fallen asleep in the chair at the front of the store.

"What's curious Ollivander-san?" Hiroyuki said his voice hinted urgency.

"It just so happens the phoenix that donated its tail feathers to Harry's wand gave a second feather," to Harry, "it's curious that you were destined for this wand when its brother – its brother gave you that scar," Mr. Ollivander said. "The wand chooses the wizards remember. I think we should expect great things from you Mr. Potter. After all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things, terrible, yes, but great."

Harry knew who they were talking about. Hiroyuki had told him about Voldemort that morning during breakfast but was very vague and, practically, forbade Hagrid from telling Harry too much information.

Hiroyuki had a blank look on his face that was void of any emotions. He blinked an odd number of times.

"Thank you for your services Ollivander-san," the albino said breaking the silence. "Harry-kun, pay him and let's go."

Harry did what he was told and they left.

After exiting the building Hiroyuki dragged Harry off into a dark alley, away from any possible witnesses. The young Potter felt his back hit the bricks of the building as he was slammed against it. Hiroyuki pulled back Harry's overgrown hair back to show the infamous lightning bolt scar and the lesser known red eye that was currently wide with surprise. Hiroyuki didn't do anything but stare at Harry's scar and eye; studying them.

"H-Hiroyuki?" Harry questioned. The said boy stayed silent observing the 11-year-old's face. Harry really wished he could read minds at the moment so he knew was Hiroyuki were thinking. He was feeling uncomfortable with Hiroyuki starting just staring at him having him pinne against a brick wall. Well, at least Hiroyuki blinked unlike Mr. Ollivander which made the situation a little less creepy. Just a little.

After some time later Hiroyuki got off of his train of thought and put Harry's hair back in place stepped back then began walking out of the alley but Harry stopped him by grabbing his arm. Hiroyuki looked at him.

"Hiroyuki Usami," Harry said his full name in a frustrated tone, "what the hell was that?"

Hiroyuki motioned with his index finger for Harry to come closer. When Harry did so he was flicked in the temple.

"Ow! What was that for?" the emerald-eyed cross-dresser said rubbing away the light stinging on the flicked temple.

"You're too young to curse." He said plainly.

"That doesn't change the fact that you're ignoring my question,"

"I was thinking," Hiroyuki said.

"About what?"

Hiroyuki sighed. He brought a hand up to cup Harry's cheek into his palm. Pink sapphire filled with mixed emotions met those emerald green orbs that awaited an answer. Pale lips pressed themselves against the temple he flicked a moment ago. "I will tell you when we go to Hogwarts."

"O-okay," Harry's face flushed a bright pink from the kiss.

"Now, come on," Hiroyuki took a hold of Harry's hand and led them out of the alley, "Hagrid-san is probably wondering why we're not at Ollivander's."

Harry closed his school book. Giving out a little sigh, he toyed with the light-ball in his hands. Harry yawn in exhaustion. He squinted his eyes at the light, he stared and willed the ball of light to go away. Soon the light-ball had dimmed down until it was reduced back into darkness. Harry had to admit, he did not expect that to work.

He glanced over at Hiroyuki who sat at the desk typing whatever came to his mind. The child-looking teen rubbed at his tired eyes and yawned. Harry's eyes filled with empathy.

The raven got up and walked over to the desk. He placed a small hand on Hiroyuki's green clad shoulder to get the said male's attention. The teen looked up from his computer and Harry saw the red cracks in Hiroyuki's corneas from the screen light. He sighed again, but this time in pity.

"Hiroyuki, why don't you come to bed," Harry asked.

"I can't," he responded, "I've got something on my mind and if I don't find a way to write it down then it won't leave me alone. I won't be able to sleep if I don't get it out in words."

"Well, how long do you think that will take?"

"About an hour or so."

"Hiroyuki, it's," Harry checks the time on the laptop, "2:17 in the morning. You need to sleep."

"So do you but you were up reading your school books," Hiroyuki rested his head on his hand.

"You told me to!"

"And you listened?"

Before Hiroyuki could even touch the key board Harry slammed the laptop closed in an irritated manner.

"Nuh-uh," he said, "I don't think so! You are getting into that bed with me, and you are going to sleep with me, whether you want to or not!"

"Okay," Hiroyuki said nonchalantly.

"Well too bad, you-wait you said okay?"

"Hai,"

"Err, okay," Harry said as Hiroyuki got up and walked towards the bed. "That was easy," the brit said to himself, "although, a little too easy..."

"Come on Harry-kun," Hiroyuki said from the bed, "don't be a hypocrite, get in bed like you said you would."

Harry did so. He got in bed next to the white-haired Japanese teen and Hiroyuki curled himself into Harry's body laid his head near that beating heart. Harry didn't mind, it was actually pleasant to have someone listening to his heart while he went to sleep. But before Harry could fall unconscious he felt movement coming from Hiroyuki. He opened his eyes to see Hiroyuki was shaking. At first Harry was worried until restrained chuckling reached his ears.

"Hiroyuki?"

"You should have heard yourself," he snickered, "forcing me to sleep with you! Hahaha!"

Harry lied their confused at what Hiroyuki said. What was so funny about Harry telling Hiroyuki to sleep with him? Harry didn't think there was anything dirty in it consi-

"WAIT A SECOND!"

I would like to apologize to some of my fans who bothers to look at my profile and saw the due date for this chapter was two days ago. I know it was supposed to be the day before Thanksgiving and not after it. Anyways, some of this was improvised and kind of rushed because I'm at my dad's house and the only way to get any of this work done is in the middle of the night when nobody is awake, which is really how I'm posting this is at 2'o clock in the morning. So some of this wasn't thoroughly thought through like I do with my other chapters.

Also, I wanted to add Ryuk in this chapter but I didn't have time so I will be posting an itty-bitty chapter this week, more like next week, about a spying Ryuk at Madam Malkin's. It's going to be very short and I didn't add that in this chapter because I didn't want to make you wait any longer than you already had to. So I will be posting a small Ryuk chapter later.

Well I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. Review, follow, fav and just do what you want to do but no flames in the reviews (that means insults and bashing) or you will be reported-nah, I'll just delete you. Happy Thanksgiving everybody! And goodnight!
