Chapter 9: Blood and bonds
Hey guys, sorry for updating this late but my computer was broken at the weekend so I wasn't able to upload but here is the next chapter. I hope you guys like it. I know it is a bit short but I promise I will do it better in the next chapter.
The Specialist pulled themselves together and got off of the ground they had landed on.
While they did that the mysterious man snapped his fingers and suddenly a lot of lights turned on. The room was much bigger then they had thought. It was as large as three soccer fields and two doors at each side were leading out of the room.
Right across from the throne there was a huge statue. She was a big as the wall behind her. It looked a lot like an elf which was holding a dagger in one hand and something like a scroll in the other hand. In front of the pedestal of the statue there was a huge bowl out of stone. Inside the bowl was a very dark liquid. The smell of the liquid filled the whole room, it smelled like metal.
The rest of the room behind the throne was filled with wooden benches.
„Welcome. Nice to meet you. I hope you found my little castle easily." The man said making two steps forwards towards the guys. His face was covered by a mask, but you could hear that he was smiling.
„It seems like my dear girls love their new powers. They are using them very well by now." He turned around and walked up to the girls.
„Don't touch them, or you die! They aren't yours! By the way, who are you!"
Brandon yelled pulling out his sword and making a few steps towards the man.
„ Oh no need to be so angry. Hate is baggage. Life's too short to be pissed off all the time." the man had turned his head to Brandon to answer. He turned once more and continued walking up to the girls.
They were now standing in a row, all of them were looking at the man.
The man was now standing right in front of the girls.
The Specialist were all about to follow to protect them, when they suddenly bowed down before the masked man.
"What the hell...?" Riven hissed pulling out his sword.
The man began to laugh and he turned around to face to Specialist again.
"You've got some nice girlfriends, boys. Very smart and so obedient." He laughed once more.
" Why don't you put these swords away. I won't hurt anyone of you. I'll promise." he said putting his hand on his chest right above the heart.
"Maybe you won't, but we will if you don't let the girls go. And release this curse!" Riven said squaring off.
" Oh, no. Please, I don't want to waste time by killing you. And the girls won't be happy if they wake up and found out they killed their own boyfriends." The man said. You could hear the evil grin on his face.
"Why shall they kill us? They know us." Sky asked, also pulling out his sword now.
"Why? Because the don't act out of their own free will now! They act out of my will now! They will do everything I want them to to." The man said and a evil laugh filled the air.
"Want to see? Girls...attack!" And with these words he pointed at the Specialist.
Just a second later the girls growled and after another second they were facing the boys.
The boys dodged every attack as good as they could but the girls were to fast. Helia got hit by an attack from Bloom and crashed into the next wall.
"Sky, what shall we do? We can't keep dodging, they are to fast. But fighting them isn't an option either." Nabu shouted while he tried dodging an attack by Layla.
" To be honest,I don't know. What did we do last time?" Sky asked back.
"I don't know. We were just talking to them, but maybe that wasn't the reason for their re-transformation." Nabu said after he found a god footing.
" Let's try it, we don't have a choice."
"Guys, did you get it?" Sky asked the others and they nodded.
All of them dodged the next attack and then started running towards a wall. They met their and lined up.
"Everyone take his own girlfriend. So we have got a better chance." Brandon said looking at the others and then looking back at the girls who where now running into their direction.
When there were just a few more meters between them the boys started running too. They collided with their girlfriends and every couple began to fight.
Riven was the first one who was able to hold on his girlfriend and he pushed her on the ground.
"Musa, hey can you hear me? Stop doing this ok? This isn't you, not even a bit. Just beat this kind of crap that is possessing you. If we first beat up this son of a bitch over there we can go home." He tried to reach her but she doesn't show any hint of noticing him.
Timmy and Helia were also trying to talk to their girlfriends while Brandon, Sky and Nabu were still trying do catch their girls.
"Bloom please, stop it. I just want to talk to you. Stop fighting me, It's me Sky, don't you remember. I love you, you're my girlfriend." Sky said while he was trying to fend of the blows Bloom was sending in his direction.
" Please Stella, come back to me. I'll promise, if you come back we will go shopping and I won't complain about the duration. I will buy you some beautiful dresses and shoes. Please Stella, come back." Even Brandon was trying to reach her, even if he was a little bit clumsy in his try.
All of them tried their best but the girls didn't change.
The masked man was now sitting at his throne and watched the situation with amusement.
"You won't change them. They will only come back if I tell them too. They're mine." He said and laughed.
Suddenly the man moved his hand and the girls stopped their movements.
The Specialists get off of them and took a step backwards. So did the girls, they stood up from the ground and took a step back.
"Girls, please let me show you how to do this. Just keep your power, you will need it later." The man walked up to the boys. Just a meter away he stopped and pulled out a long metal rod. The boys took their swords and pistols and get ready for a fight.
They didn't see him coming. Within a flash the man was behind them and in the next moment Sky was hit by the rod. He was pierced by the metal rod in the area of his abdomen. The others turned around and within another flash the man was gone.
Sky was slowly sinking to the floor.
"This is how you do it." the man said after he returned to the girls. He laughed.
The girls were still standing in front of the boys and watched them.
While the other Specialists were getting down on their knees to help Sky something changed.
The light orange of Blooms eyes faded, but the cloak was still there.
Blooms eyes, now again blue, were moving, trying to recognize were she was.
She spotted Sky. He was laying on the floor his eyes closed. Hey was covered in blood.
A silent tear ran down Blooms face and then a blood curling scream filled the air.
Blooms eyes changed back to the light orange, but instead of attacking the boys she turned around and ran towards the man.
With a growl she swooped down on him followed by the other girls.
