I feel bad for not updating in so long! I'm on spring break for the rest of the week though, so I'll to update as much as I can!
One by one, the group started to wake up, but they were not in the dungeon hallway anymore. They were now in a large room with stone floors and beige walls. The only light came from a tiny circle shaped window on the wall behind them.
"Well well well, what do we have here?"
The group immediately recognised the voice, and it was someone that they really didn't want to have to deal with.
Vanfeny Vamp stepped into the lit area. He had a rather scary smirk on his face, "My, my, Tsurugi, how many rules do you intend to break in one week?" He snickered, "First reading illegal books, now breaking out of prison?"
Tsurugi stood up, pulling Tenma up and holding him close to him protectively, but he didn't say a word to Vanfeny.
Vanfeny frowned, "My my, that's rude." He shrugged and smiled again, "I'd punish you again, but there's no point. It's not like you'll live much longer anyways!"
"What are you playing at, Vanfeny?" Phel finally spoke up.
Vanfeny chuckled, "isn't it obvious? You 5 are the only ones who have the power to stop my plan, so I'll kill you while I still can!"
Shindou narrowed his eyes, arming himself with his Scarlet rod, "What plan?"
Vanfeny smirked, "Well, since you won't survive the end of this meeting, I guess I'll tell you…" He paused, "Imagine hundreds of vampire guards, storming the human world, capturing hundreds of them, killing many more. Overthrowing their leaders and reinstating me in charge of both vampire and supernatural worlds!"
Kirino made a face, "Not even you have the power to do that, how are you going to accomplish a plan like that?"
Vanfeny let out a laugh. But it held no joy. The laugh sounded more scary then it did happy. Vanfeny reached into his pocket, pulling out a necklace with red gem hanging off the chain. He looked to Kirino and Shindou,
"You two are quite old, right? Then you'd know the legend, the legend of the vampire demon?"
Kirino froze, "You didn't…" He trailed off and Vanfeny continued speaking,
"You're right. I did summon him. He gave me the power to take over the human world." He smirked, putting on the necklace. As the gem fell onto his chest, there was a sudden explosion, pushing everyone back. When the dust cleared, Vanfeny stood there, looking exactly the same, except for his glowing red eyes and fangs that were twice the size of a normal vampires.
He gave out a loud evil laugh,
"I'm at full power now! There isn't a power in the world that can defeat me!" He smirked at Tsurugi and co.
"No one can stop me now. The only weapon powerful enough to defeat me is long lost, and even if you found it, only a member of the royal family can use it, and they're long gone!"
A light chuckle was heard from Phel who stepped to the front of the group with a smirk on her face,
"That's what you think, at least." She said, looking right into Vanfeny's eyes.
Vanfeny's eyes widened as he realized who stood before him, "It couldn't be…..I thought that I killed you!" He stammered.
"You thought wrong." Ophelia said coldly.
Vanfeny scowled, "My plan was perfect... How could the vampire princess have survived!?"
Yes this chapter was short just because I wanted to have that cliffhanger.
