A/N: Poor Ponyboy. If you look real close, during the drowning and right before the church, most of Tommy's movements looked really shaky and he looks really pale, especially at Bucks and on the train. I read that he was really sick during filming. That would suck because they filmed when it was really cold out. Poor Tommy :(

If you haven't noticed, I love looking up facts about the movie. If you don't care, just skip my notes and tell me to shudup. Back to our regularly scheduled program.

Two-Bit's POV

"Got a cigarette, Two-Bit?" Ponyboy asked me when I walked into the hospital. He was going through withdraw. I laughed at his face.

"Nope."

"Come on Two, you always got a lifted pack. Be a buddy." He begged.

"Darry would have my hide. No way, kiddo." I told him. He signed, crossing his arms and sticking his tongue out at me.

"Fine, Two-Bit, I'll just bum one off of Dallas." Ponyboy said. I sighed and handed him a cancer stick. He light up with a smile, blowing out long drags of smoke. (A/N: I don't smoke I'm not sure if that makes sense.)

Darry's POV

After Ponyboy's chemo session the doctor was suppose to meet with us.

Ponyboy had taken some tests and now we were getting the results.

The doctor walked in with a look you never want to see.

"Well, Ponyboy, I got some bad news. The chemo isn't doing anything besides making you feel miserable."

I heard Ponyboy choked on a sob.

I looked at Soda. His face mirrored mine, shocked.

"We have one last option, surgery. If we remove your spleen where most of the cancer is, we have a small chance. Don't get your hopes up, but don't loose all hope."

Ponyboy was sobbing by now. I let a few tears slip down my cheeks.

"Come back on Sunday for the surgery and get some rest Ponyboy. I am truly sorry." We shook hands and shakily got to our feet, exciting the depressing hospital and into our family truck.

We pulled into the house. There were two cars there, Two-Bit's and a red stingray. I was utterly confused.

I saw a red headed Soc standing next to Two-Bit, bruise free.

"Hey Ponyboy." The redhead said. She noticed the test tracks on our faces and the smile was wiped straight off of her cheery face.

"I'm sorry, now is a bad time, I see it. But I was talking with Two-Bit and I had some good news. I'll go." She apologized. I stopped her.

"Grab some lunch, Ponyboy, then you can talk." I told him.

I wanted him to get himself together and I needed to talk to this girl.

"Hello Mr. Curtis. My name is Sherri Valace, but my friends call me Cherry because of my hair. I go to school with Ponyboy." I nodded and shook her hand.

"Call me Darry, I'm too young for that."

"Well, little miss Cherry here decided she is having a fundraiser for Ponyboy. She got permission from the school and we have been planning since Ponyboy was admitted in the hospital last week." Two-Bit informed me.

"Please don't think of it as charity. I just want to help. Ponyboy is the sweetest kid and he doesn't deserve this. I'm getting my friends to donate." Cherry told me. I was blown away. A Soc actually wanted to help us. I thanked the both of them as Ponyboy came out.

He immediately went to Cherry and they started talking. His face lit up and I knew I could trust her if she made Ponyboy this happy.

A/N: Will the surgery work? Will Ponyboy die? Tell me what you think!
