This is going to be exciting.
Back in Techno Town, Sonami and her friends were still playing around in the streets when she received a call on her communicator watch. She answered it. "Hello?"
"Hello, Sonami?" Uncle Tails called through the communicator watch.
"Oh, hi Uncle Tails, what's up?" Sonami said.
"Your father wants you, Neck-Crack, and Jewel to come home ASAP. It's urgent." Tails said.
"Why? What's going on?" Sonami asked curiously.
"Nothing," Tails assured. "He just wants you home. That's all."
"Ok, Uncle Tails. We're on our way. Sonami out." She closed her speaker and turned to her friends. "Come on, guys. We got to get home."
"How come, Sonami?" Jewel asked, walking on a fence.
"Yeah , I thought we were having so much fun!" Neck-Crack said, stretching his arms up.
"Believe me, we are, but Uncle Tails says we got to go home," Sonami said.
"Why?" Neck-Crack asked.
"I don't know, Uncle Tails didn't say," Sonami answered. "I guess some business came up."
"What kind of business?" Asked Jewel.
"No idea. My dad used to say to get out of my mom's dinner date." Sonami said. The kids laughed.
On the other side of town, the Shadow Clan children were just about to wrap up their expedition. "I think we should get back home now." Victoria said. "It's getting late."
"Ah relax, we got plenty of time," Twilight said in a carefree tone.
"I think wolf girl is right," Iron said. "The sun is setting west. Our folks' probably getting ready for another mission."
"Whoa! Didn't notice the time," Twilight said. "I guess we better head back."
And so, the children of both clans walked their way around Techno Town, trying to find the exit. Each trio then came across entrances to a hedge maze of either side. "Which way now?" Jewel asked.
"Um, maybe this way?" Sonami said. She led the way through the maze.
"This way," Twilight directed.
"Are you sure?" Victoria asked.
"Trust me," the red hedgehog said. "This is the shortcut." He and his pals strolled down the leafy labyrinth.
The trios wandering aimlessly at a confounded maze that seemed to have no end to it. They kept passing to It appears that they cannot find their way back out, they don't even have the slightest idea of where they are or where to go. "Uh...are we lost?" Jewel asked.
"Uh, I don't think so," Sonami said uncertainly.
"This could be a problem," Neck-Crack said.
"Okay, I believe it's this way," Twilight directed.
"I think we passed the same rose bush eight times already," Iron said, pointing a rose bush sculpture at each dead end.
"No, we didn't," Twilight refuted. "They all just looked the same."
"Don't tell we're lost," Victoria rolled her eyes.
"Okay, I won't tell you," Twilight said.
The trios of both clans continued to ramble through the harebrained maze, unable to find their way out. Little are they aware that although they are seperated by the hedge walls, they are nearby and are closing in for a second encounter at the same location...
The Sonic Clan children paused at the main center of the maze where in the open garden area there is a large fancy fountain with water flowing lavishly. Sonami gazed at the view. There is something glowing on the top of the jetting water.
"Why did we stop, Sonami?" Jewel asked.
"There's a ring over there." Sonami pointed to the fountain. The siblings looked at her direction.
"Oh, I see it." Jewel said.
"That could be useful." Sonami said.
The Shadow Clan also arrived at the same scene on the other entrance of the garden area.
"This ain't it either," Victoria said. "Though it is kind of pretty."
"Look at that over there," Twilight pointed to the water fountain. "That's a power ring."
"So it is," Iron said. "Now let's get moving so we can get out of this dump."
"My dad told me that power rings will make you stronger and unstoppable," Twilight said. "That's the perfect tool for me to beat my dad." He smirked.
Sonami walked toward the fountain center, intending to collect the power. "That could be useful for Uncle Tails' Tornado 3000."
"We've got to go home, Sonami." Neck-Crack said.
"It'll only be quick." Sonami said.
Twilight on the other gateway was also heading toward the prize fountain. "Twilight, where are you going?" Victoria asked.
"We don't have time for this, red runt! We're gotta go home!" Iron insisted.
"I'll only be a second." Twilight said. "This baby is mine."
Two hedgehogs synchronously stepped forward to the power ring fountain and climbed on each side. They reached the top and both made grab for the ring. Their fingers almost touched each other as their hands wrapped around the loop.
"Huh?" The two hedgehogs looked up.
"It'S YOU AGAIN!" Sonami and Twilight recognized each other. They let go the ring, jumped off from the fountain, and faced each other.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" They asked in unison.
"Not that it's any of your business but my name is Twilight The Hedgehog." The red hedgehog said coolly. "Son of the Ultimate Lifeform, Shadow the Hedgehog."
"My name is Sonami Rose, daughter of Sonic the Hedgehog, the biggest hero in this world," the blue girl said.
"Tsk! Yeah right!" Twilight said sarcastically, folding his arms.
"Yo, Sonami, what's going on?" Neck-Crack asked. He and his sister stepped joined Sonami at the fountain center.
"Who's that red weirdo?" Jewel asked.
"Hey, boss! Having trouble?" Iron said. He and Victoria also met up with their leader, wondering what is holding him up.
"Who are these kids?" Victoria asked.
The hedgehogs kept eyes on each other. "You're from the Sonic Clan, aren't you?" Twilight asked.
"And you're from the Shadow Clan I presume?" Sonami said.
"That's right," Twilight smirked. "I hear that you're supposed to be the fastest thing alive! But the truth is, you don't look so fast." He brung a brash smirk upon his face. "In fact you look so slow, I believe that like I could kick your butt easily!" His sidekicks snickered in agreement.
"Oh yeah? You don't look exactly 'ultimate' that my dad told me about," Sonami said. "I can outrun you, big head red!" Her best friends oohed.
Twilight glared at her. "Is that a challenge?" He replied coolly. "Well then, how about a friendly test of competition?" His friends, Victoria Marlene and Iron The Bull backed him up.
Sonami leered at him confidently. "Fine by me! Bring it on" She answered boldly. Her friends, Neck-Crack and Jewel reinforced her.
"Whoever stops at the power ring fountain first wins!" Iron said.
"Loser goes home with nothing!" Neck-Crack added.
The children of both mighty faced off with mighty sparks of vengeance. Sonami vs. Twilight, Neck-Crack vs. Iron, and Victoria vs. Jewel!
The blue hedgehog girl and the young red hedgehog man started off in a race and took off a full speed, leaving a trail of blue and red behind. Neck-Crack charged at the bull's head and hung around. Iron tried to get him off by sprinting towarx the wall head-on. Neck-Crack hopped off before his opponent banged against the wall. Iron groaned as dizzy marks swirled on his eyes. Neck-Crack burrowed a hole in the ground and escaped into a tunnel. Iron recovered and pursued the red echidna into the hole.
Victoria and Jewel took flight and soared over the hedge maze garden.
Sonami and Twilight raced each other through the hedge maze, crashing through the thick leafy walls. They galloped back to Techno Town, running neck-to-neck. "Think you can be me?!" Twilight said in a taunting voice.
"I'm not even trying! I can beat you!" Sonami retorted. The hedgehogs sped up at full speed.
Neck-Crack and Iron combated with each other underground. "Come on, big head!" Neck-Crack taunted.
Iron growled and threw his large fist at the teenage echidna. Neck-Crack did a leapfrog on the large bull to avoid the blow. He laughed and threw a raspberry and ducked before Iron could knock his lights out.
Victoria and Jewel air raced above the buildings, trying to outbest each other. They swung fists and air-kicked each other, trying to kill one's flight. "Come on, wolf girl! Show me what you got!" Jewel shouted.
"Achira Aura-blast!" Victoria casted a spell against the young bat who had to duck. It blew away a few windows on a building.
"Well I ask for that!" Jewel said.
The hedgehogs raced all over the Techno Town, blowing almost everything in their path like a gust, and returned back to the starting point. "Safe!" Both of the children declared. Both of their hands touched the power ring at the same time. Apparently it was a draw. "I won!" Sonami and Twilight shouted synchronously.
"No, I won!" Sonami insisted.
"No! I did!" Twilight argued. He picked up the power ring. "And it's mine!"
Sonami made a lunge for it. "No it's mine!" She snatched the ring out of Twilight's hands and ran for it.
"Hey, come back here!" Twilight chased after her through the town. He grabbed the ring and tried to snatch it away. Sonami held on tight.
"Let go!" She cried.
"No it's mine! YOU let go!" Twilight shouted.
As the dueling duo fought over the ring, their friends appeared in the scene. Neck-Crack and Iron emerged from the burrowing hole and Victoria and Jewel landed on ground and they all joined in to help their leaders snarch the power ring.
The children of both clans tug-of-warred over the golden ring. None of them would ever let go. They all clamored tumultuously. "It's mine!"
"No, it's mine!"
"Let go!"
"You let go!"
"Stop it!"
"You're dead!"
Suddenly, the ring slipped out of their hands and rolled on the ground. The kids stood there and watched in inaction as their prize flew in the air and was captured by a robotic bird. The Power Ring was long gone. The kids' faces fell into dismay for they had lost of what they almost gained. Then two young leaders locked glaring eyes at each other. "Nice going, Emo-red!" Sonami shouted.
"Way to go, blue girl!" Twilight snapped.
They shouted in unison. "You've lost my ring! No, it's my ring! Not yours! STOP THAT! NO YOU STOP IT! THAT'S IT!" They charged at each other and started brawling to the teeth. They rolled and fiercely wrestled each other on the ground, making dust. While they fought, Neck-Crack and Iron locked horns on each other and shot sparks at each other. "You guys are so getting it!" The young red echidna snarled.
"I'll smack you..." The orange bull growled, cracking his knuckles. "With your ugly mama!"
Irked, Neck-Crack bared his fangs. "Hey, don't you dare insult my mama!" He snapped, presenting his spiked knuckles. "Your mama's so dumb, she thought coconuts was a dance move!"
"Your mama's so fat, you could spot her hiding behind a house!" Iron rebutted
Neck-Crack growled in rage. "Okay, that's it! You're dead!" He threw himself at the angry bull and tugged his horns. Iron clamped him hard with his large hands, trying to pull him off. "Get off my horns!" He shouted.
"Make me!" Neck-Crack retorted.
Victoria and Jewel also set sparks at each other. "You know, I'm about to go batty on you!" Jewel warned.
"Oh please, if you hadn't butt in, this wouldn't be a problem!" Victoria snarled.
"Oh, please! Stuff your tail in your mouth where it belongs" Jewel snapped.
"Stuff your tail-who do you think you're talking to?!" Victoria snarled angrily. Her hair raised up. "Wanna make something out of it?" She snarled.
Jewel put up her fists. "Yeah!" She shouted. So the two of them started cat-fighting (or bat/wolf fighting)!
The kids fought and bickered. It's a dusty quarrel! Suddenly, the hedgehogs' fathers came in with their Chaos Emeralds. "QUIET!" They shouted at once and used their Chaos Emerald forces to cease their brawling. The kids stopped at once.
"Daddy?" Sonami looked up.
"Father?" Twilight heeded.
Both of the clan children abandoned their opponents and bowed to their fathers.
"It's time to come home, Sonny. Mom's worry about you." Lord Sonic said.
"Oh right. Sorry I forget, Daddy." Sonami said. She and her friends rushed to him.
"You had your fun, son. You are needed back at the village," Lord Shadow said strictly.
"Yes, Father," the red hedgehog replied. He and his friends returned to the clan leader' side as well.
"Hey Shadow! I see you're still working at base! Nothing new, huh?" Lord Sonic called to his rival.
"You haven't gone AWOL yourself, blue hedgehog. You haven't changed at all." Lord Shadow responded.
Their children glared at each other again. Sonami blew a raspberry while Twilight gave out an Akanbe. They're determined to finish off where they started as soon as they meet again.
"Nice son you got there! I hope he doesn't take your head out!" Lord Sonic said.
"Your daughter's pretty wild. You should stick with sons." Lord Shadow responded coldly. So the clan members used their Chaos Emeralds to teleport themselves and the children home, ending their interesting adventure.
