Fabulous readers,

Let me tell you a thing. The account that I was using for this 30 day challenge was deleted, so I didn't have the list for the longest while. Believe me I looked. Between not knowing what to write, and not knowing what to replace for the daily challenges, I sort of got lost in the world. Um, I'm a sucky person and I don't deserve nothin' from you guys.

Please give thanks to SkyHighFan for persistently asking me where I've gone. Your concern is heart warming and here's me apologizing to you. I'm sorry!

Forever, FailureAaron

Day 10: With animal ears. Note: I was originally going to make this a Jack Bunny chapter, but due to my long absence, I am attempting to make amends with you readers by throwing Jack Jamie smut towards you.

Warning! This chapter contains the use of drugs because I honestly couldn't come up with a scenario that made sense for the whole animal ears, so we'll just make it a hallucination.

The music was overwhelming, intoxicating and passionate on a level beyond humanity's understanding. A constant rocking back and forth of waves washing over him with each breath of the singer, or whisper of the speaker. Jamie had no idea how he had found himself in such a condition. Where he had come and what he had chosen to do had paved his way to where he now sat, alone and lost amongst the nature of the night.

He had eaten something. Delicious and odd, with a hint of something different than what a normal treat would have in it.

"What is this?" Jamie asked as he looked down to the brownie that he had snatched off of the plate. He didn't know parties like these college ones had things like brownies or cookies.

The men standing in the kitchen, guarding over the plate of foreign tastes and experiences, looked at him with beady eyes as Jamie pulled the brownie to his lips to take another bite, wanting to discover the mysterious taste. It smelt familiar, but he couldn't place it.

The boys snickered and crossed their arms. "They're just brownies with a special kind of butter," the men said down to Jamie who stumbled back, looking down horrified by what he had just put into his mouth. He stared, wondering if he had eaten enough even to feel anything. He had only two tiny bites, that wouldn't be enough to do anything right?

The boys laughed and stepped closer to him, reaching out with their massive hands and clapping him on his back.

"First time?" they asked. Jamie could now see the red in their eyes. He should have know they were high before he ever touched anything they offered him.

The young men assured Jamie, and comforted him that he would be fine and wouldn't be feeling any large amount of anything in no small amount of time. "He would gradually ascend" was what they described.

"Best eat the rest of your treat, Jamie. Wouldn't want to waste it. May as well go all the way."

They were right. Although Jamie did not anticipate that this would be that type of party. He was expecting beer, drinking games, and loud, obnoxious music, but the music they played was soft and poisonous. Everyone was relaxed and sat peacefully, conversing, lost. There were no valiant games of pong, or quarters, only the sound of music, and soft chatter. The party's atmosphere made sense now. He was a fool. He looked down at the treat in his hand. College was supposed to be a dawning of experiences. This was an opportunity just like any else. He brought the brownie to his lips. Why not? What would be the harm? He would try this just to say that he did.

Jamie bit into his browny with determination, closing his eyes and swallowing down the taste with difficulties. It tasted as the smoke of weed smelled: terrible. He would not be mocked as the coward, though. Who would want to be the young boy who ran away from adult pleasantries and nightmares? And so he finished the mess that he had gotten himself into with gulps and bit of his beer to chase away that uncomfortable taste.

Jamie breathed and stood around, as though expecting to feel the affects immediately. He felt no different, though, only the same old version of his self.

Jamie moved forward, not sure what to do or expect from that point in time. Should he sit and wait to feel that legendary feeling? He was lost in a wonder when he heard a sharp laugh from behind him and a cold flutter of snow.

Jamie turned to see his friend and guardian: Jack Frost.

As usual, he stood with his staff casually leaning against his slender shoulders, his hair tussled from the kiss of wind, his bare feet propping on top of the table that turned just a faint shade of white from the cold of his body.

"Really Jamie," Jack said from behind the boys as he reached for one of the brownies and tossed it in his hand.

Jamie shook his head to indicate that Jack should not eat those. He would call out to him, but did not want everyone questioning him as to why he was talking to air by the table.

Jamie laughed and his laugh was like sleigh bells and the crunch of snow beneath the first step into winter. Jack walked forward licking the brownie and nibbling off the tip of it. He was no stranger to anything. The mysterious, devilish nature about him made him very aware of any and all forbidden pleasures. He knew what Jamie had done and he knew what it was that he put into his mouth.

Jamie now sat on the back porch. Hours had slipped by. He and Jack had played games, played tricks, chatted, but he was growing tired of waiting. Maybe everyone was just jerking him around. He did not feel high. He sighed, turning around and looking for Jack who simply floated off somewhere.

He paused and pondered why Jack had gone, or where he had gone too. It was odd for him to disappear, but he did not blame him; it must have been great to be able to fly wherever he wanted, to constantly be on the doorstep of the world. Jamie leaned back, calling out to the sky, whispering Jack's name to the wind so that his message would be relayed to him. He closed his eyes and laughed, feeling the tingle of the wind as it kissed him. Or was it the wind? He opened his eyes and saw a blur of white and blue. Jack. His Jack.

"I'm here Jamie," came a cool voice. Jack's voice. Jamie was relieved, no he was overwhelmed with joy. He pulled away from the spirit and viewed his frozen lover with a look of adoration. He was the same as always, beautiful, white hair, pale lips, eyes as blue as the ice on a frozen pond, and ears, ears as white as a snow.

He shook his head and looked at Jack again, reaching out his hands and touching Jack's hair. "You-" he said.

"Me?" Jack repeated.

"Ears..."

Jack raised an eyebrow. "Ears?"

"You have ears," Jamie said as he narrowed his eyes, focusing all of his mental capabilities on Jack's head.

"I hope I have ears," Jack said, "How else would I hear?"

"No," Jamie began. "You're like a snow fox, with white ears," he said as he brought his hands to his own head and mimicked pointed ears.

"Jamie. I think you're-"

"No! Don't say it," Jamie said as he stood up. In that moment, he was at the mercy of the universe. It stared down on him through the thousand lights of the stars and planets. The world spun on in the cosmos and sang its heavenly song to the angels that orbited around their tiny, insignificant planet. He blinked and stared up, keeping quiet for a time while Jack watched him. His body felt as though it were submerged in a tank, absorbed in water. His eyes itched and it seemed that he was looking through a pair of foggy glasses. He squinted and rubbed his eyes. As he pulled his hands away from his face, he came to the realization of the fate he had been presented with.

He stood there with his mouth agape as he stumbled and fell back down into a seated position on the porch step.

"I am," he breathed, mouth still wide open. How had it happened? When did it happened? It was a gradual accession just as the other boys had described, so gradual that it came upon him like a deer in the woods, moving silently amongst the brush. He frowned. Deer in the woods with it's hallow, black eyes. Was that how it hit everyone? It wasn't until he questioned it that it had come. The more he argued against it not happening, the more it made it self present. He turned to Jack again, who's appearance had not changed.

His hallucination seemed so real; Jack's ears perked and moved to the sounds that surrounded them. He looked cute with those tufts of white atop his head.

Noting the look of attraction Jamie was giving him, Jack spoke. "I think you have a fetish," he laughed as he plopped down on the porch beside his lover.

"Is my life nothing but discovering fetishes? I seem to have a lot..." Jamie said as he scrambled his hands through his hair. "This is so surreal. I can't be attracted to your cat-fox ears," he said as he sat up again and reached for Jack, running his fingers through his hair. For some reason, those ears alluded his touch. They were not real, but there they stood. Jamie shuttered and shifted closer to Jack. He squinted at him and looked into his eyes, as though peering into his soul and determining his status as a being on their planet. "Are you?" He asked.

Jack laughed. "A little, but no where near the level you are."

Jamie climbed to his knees, wrapping his arms around Jack's shoulders and continuing his exploration of the boy's head. "What is my level? Is it my level my experience in life, or the stage of highness? Are there different levels of high?"

Again, Jack's laughed sounded off in Jamie's head, ringing around like a popping bubbles in an empty room. His voice echoed in Jamie's head, like the echo in an icy cave, crisp and clean with stalactites and stalagmites of frozen moisture. "There are level of high and I think your on the final level."

"Completion," Jamie muttered as he let the feeling of satisfaction wash over him. He flung backward, sprawling out on his back. He sighed and opened his eyes to the shelter of the night sky, notting the way life turned on despite what he thought or what he did.

He sat up, leaning his weight on his forearms. "No, not complete," he said as he looked at Jack who watched him calmly. "Completion can only happen in the midst of nature. When nature does what nature will," he said as he frowned. "Your ears. It's a sign."

For that comment, Jack ran his fingers through his hair, groping around for these infamous ears. He blinked a few times as Jamie inched closer. "It's all natural and we have to join it," Jamie whispered.

There was a moment of silence as the wind sang its song through the strings of leaves and winds of bark. If they focused their attention long enough, they would be blessed with the sound of glistening from the stars above. There was a carol around them and it bid them to join with their own sweet music.

Jack blinked as Jamie gripped onto his waist and tugged on him, willing him to come closer. "You're beautiful," Jamie whispered as Jack settled onto his lap, straddling him and wrapping his slender arms around his lover's shoulders.

Their kisses differed from the ones they had exchanged under different circumstances. These kisses tasted of the world and left them feeling like they floated on in the emptiness of space. It was enough to drive a crazy man sane, enough to crumble mountains and melt skies. The world evaporated to nothing and their hearts beat as one.

Jamie breathed the breath of color into his lover's mouth, giving him life, giving him sustenance, beauty. Everything that Jamie was, was Jack's as well. He was lost behind the lids of his own eyes, trapped in a blissful darkness, guided only by those lips that suckled on him and played innocent games of affection and attraction.

He called out Jack's name in that gaping mouth and ran his hands up and down the small of his back, feeling his midsection expand with each inhale, and shrink with each exhale. There was a clock ticking in Jamie's mind, and it was counting down the minutes he had left in his life. Minutes he had to give to Jack. Minutes that would be spent like this.

He sighed and stood, knowing that it would not be safe to sit upon that porch, to sit in that pool of light from the harsh lightbulbs, like search lights in the sea of night. If they were caught...

He would simply find a dark spot, hidden away in the cradling arms of the Earth. He stood, and Jack wrapped his legs around Jamie's hips. Jamie carried him, feeling his weight and feeling glad for it. Jack felt right in his arms, like he belonged there.

The world had given him so much, presents of lips, blissfulness in sex, the pleasant taste of sweat, and the sweet sound of pain and joy. Jamie would not waste him. He sunk into the grass, laying Jack out and watching him. His face illuminated by the pale light of the moon. His eyes were half closed and beneath those vibrant black lashes, glowed orbs of iridescent beauty. They were all colors of the world. In that moment, Jamie was sure the universe was held in those droplets of blue.

His hands roamed and Jack was all too pleased to let them on their way. He shuttered and pulled his hoodie away from his body, revealing himself to Jamie who swallowed him. Those ears from Jamie's hallucination twitched and sent electric fire through his spine. His Jack was like a creature of beauty from his dreams.

He sunk low, hovering over Jack's body as his hot hands skirted along the cool flesh. "You're so cold," he murmured.

"Then make me warm," Jack whispered as Jamie melted towards him, his fingers loosing themselves as they removed articles of clothing that simply got in his way.

They rocked and jolted to the beat of passion. Occasionally, they would still themselves and listen to the wind in the grass near their bodies, stopping to hear the music ooze from the house behind them. They were alone outside, alone in the world of man, alone in passion for it was only theirs to experience. The world was asleep; the people inside were oblivious, lost in their own clouded minds.

Jack lay beneath him, legs spread, body exposed. He was a creature to be marveled at. Jamie was stunned, left to sit in the shadows of imperfection as he watched Jack's chest rise and fall with each delicate breath.

It was Jamie's duty to complete Jack, that was their purpose in that moment, in that life. He spent an eternity preparing that body, caring for it. With a gentle push, he was within Jack, wrapped in his glory, and enveloped in his body.

The earth below them shuttered and rocked, ushering the two bodies above to free themselves of restrictions. Their minds wandered and their souls drifted as they danced in the sky, looking down on their meaningless bodies. It was more than just sex; it was an experience of the mind, soul, body, all three things intertwined into one experience. Above they breathed, below they rocked, within they felt.

That night, Jamie made love to Jack with a gentle ease, and the two boys came together in a feeling so far beyond bliss that they could not comprehend, nor choose a word to describe it. They soaked the ground below with their tears as they slipped away into pure ecstasy bestowed onto them by the rotating eyes that watched from above.

It was prefect; it was meant to be.
