Chapter 10: Treatment

I entered the Pokemon center and found Latias and Aria waiting for me in the restaurant section. I had already given my Pokemon to Nurse Joy, who was almost about call the police on me having only one shoe and walking in on a makeshift cane with a severe burn. We decided that we would climb Starpeak mountain, the dividing boundary between the two sides of the Pokemon war many years ago.

Now we were prepared to enter the losing side. A side where there were more poor people. We decided to go buy some new clothes at a nearby store that sold thick down jackets and stuff. All of it was purchasable thanks to the government, as long as you're a young trainer you could buy clothes for free. However this law only applied to this island.

"How are you going to get up the mountain with a burned foot like that?" asked Aria.

"Don't worry, if I pad up my foot and put it in a boot, I'm sure I'll be okay." I told Aria.

She frowned but gave up and said," Alright, but if you start complaining half way through, it's on you."

We traveled to the store that night, whom also wanted to call the police on me, and bought some new clothes. We made it to another hotel and decided to take a room that was at the top, so we could escape easier if something happened.

I settled in my room for the night, and already had retrieved my pokemon from the nurse. I heard a heavy rapping on my door as I read about StarPeak mountain from a book on a shelf in the hotel. I had my foot out in the open and my cane beside me on the table.

'It's me,' said Latias' voice in my head.

'Hey, what is it?' I asked.

'I think I can heal you, come to my room,' said Latias. I stepped out of my room as she walked into hers. She waited for me sitting on her bed.

'Come over here! I'll heal you with my healing wish,' said Latias.

'Wait won't that caused you to faint?' I asked mentally.

'It probably will, but I'm going to fall asleep anyway so…' said Latias.

I walked over to her and sat beside her on the bed.

She moved away and said telepathically,' Put your foot on the bed.'

I moved my burned foot onto the bed close to her.

'Ouch, what did you burn it on? It looks worse now that I'm looking at it closely,' commented Latias, looking at it.

"Lava," I muttered.

'What, where did you get lava from?' asked Latias.

I went ahead and explained to her the whole adventure under the mountain.

'Sheesh, all of that.' Said Latias.

'Yeah,' I muttered.

A deafening silence flooded the room.

'Thanks for all of this.' Said Latias.

'All of what?' I asked.

'You know, following me all this way from home just to make sure I can make it home safely.'

'It's nothing, besides like I said it's fun!'

She breathed out and said,' I always thought humans were bad. Well I guess all of them are not so bad. Oh… right let me get on with healing you.'

She clasped her hands together and closed her eyes. A ball of white light flew from her hands and up to the ceiling like if it was looking for something. After a few seconds it fell down to my leg and flashed for a few seconds blinding me. Then the light disappeared and my foot was completely healed.

I moved my toes one by one in awe, they were perfectly healed as if they had never been burned in the first place. Latias suddenly closed her eyes and started falling back. I grabbed her and slowly let her down onto the bed.

"Thank you," I muttered wishing she could hear it. I smiled as her form changed back to her dragon form. I moved the covers back from under her and tucked her sleek form in.

I walked on my new foot and made my way back to my room where I studied my map for a while longer, then fell asleep.

I was awake and was starting to eat breakfast in the restaurant down stairs. I ordered my oran berry waffles alone and partially sleepy. I sipped from a cup of coffee on the table that steamed. The room was slightly dull, as the place restaurant section of the pokemon center was just getting started.

I could see Aria enter the room from the corner of my eye as I sipped my coffee. She was also pretty much prepared.

"Good morning," she said settling down in a seat in front of me.

"Good morning," I answered back. "Ready for a trip through a cold mountain?"

"No, I never liked the cold!" complained Aria. "Don't tell me you like the cold?"

I smiled at her.

"What? I can't stand the cold!"

"I suggest you dress really heavily, we'll need two days to cross through the mountains beats a week, though, of going around it."

"Yeah, I heard about that."

"When Latias wakes up we'll get going. Should we get her a jacket? Yeah just realizing it, she's technically a human when she changes so that would mean that she would still be cold."

"True."

We stared each other down, both trying to get each other to get the jacket.

"I mean I can't," I finally said, with a sigh. "I'm a guy, wandering around the girl's section would be strange."

"Err… You win this round," She joked. "How about you come with me?"

"Eh? Wait what?" I asked dumbfounded.

"I'm just joking sheesh," She said chuckling to herself. "I'll go get it, after breakfast. Besides we would need to bring her to see what size she fits into."

About an hour later, Latias woke up and came down to greet us. Aria took her out to buy her a coat and some thicker pants. About an hour later they returned to the pokemon center where I sat waiting in my room, falling asleep due to boredom.

We walked out of town after meeting up and made it to the edge of Starpeak mountain safely.

"Here's the real pain," I said. A single path was cut through the crowd of trees. The road before us was a straight line, going up to the mountain. The road was built on a hill, to allow people to climb up the mountain without too much trouble, of course the problem was distance. At some points in the road, stone slabs were inserted to create sets of make shift stairs, then it would turn back into a road. I then said, "Is everyone ready for the hike?"

Latias simply nodded, with her new jacket and ski pants.

"Let's go," cheered Aria.

We climbed up the path and as we got closer to the top the temperature dropped, both due to the time and the environment. The snow that started to fall like soft spring petals, became a blizzard that made me wonder if an Abomasnow was nearby. The wind roared past the hood of my jacket. The snow on the path became deeper as I mushed forward. I used my goggles for eye protection but I still couldn't see where I was walking. I couldn't tell how long we'd have walked for, as the snow constantly covered my watch in the instant I looked. I looked around for a second, the path we were on was a simple steep slope down the side of the mountain path. It was a wonder why there weren't any guard rails. If one of us tripped, we would definitely be injured.

Which made me wonder.

"Latias, Are you there?" I asked mentally.

"Yeah, did you want something?" asked Latias' voice.

"Check if Aria's behind you, will you?" I asked.

Her response wasn't quick, but I marched on. Then after a few seconds she responded, "She's behind us. I can see her, not too well, but she's back there none the less."

Relieved I continued forward, and tripped forward face flat into the snow. The snow wasn't soft, it felt rather like a sheet of ice, then a bed under it. It was like falling face flat in water, from a high distance. I stood back up, my face numb from the cold snow.

My legs were tired from pushing through the snow, I wondered how much longer it would be. Then I saw a yellow light as the path before me slightly widened. I was even getting hungry.

"I see a light!" I shouted with happiness.

"What?" asked Latias mentally.

"Light, I see a building, I think we're at the top of the mountain!"

"Good, go ahead, I'll tell Aria," I shouted. I moved aside and walked into the snow and watched Latias pass by. Then I waited for a second. Aria appeared out of the blizzard, asking," Is something the matter?"

"I see a building up ahead, I bet you that's it the Pokémon center!" I said, cheerfully.

"Great, let's get in!" said Aria. She hurried forward and I followed her.

And so it turned out the building at the top of the mountain was a wooden Pokémon center. It felt more like a classic ski lounge inside. We entered through a pair of wooden doors. This Pokémon center was organized differently than the others. To the right was a set of stairs with a green rug and a wooden set of stairs, leading up to most likely the attic or the hotel rooms. There was a fire place built next to the stairs as red couches surrounded it. Each of them already occupied by a trainer or pokemon. A, definitely out of place, office desk sat in the center of the room, but there was no nurse Joy.

I peeled my hood from my head and asked," Where's Nurse Joy?"

Then the group of four trainers traded looks as if they didn't know if they should answer me. Then from amongst the group one of them answered," She left down the hill to pick up some items."

"Oh, alright thank you." I said plainly.

"Umm…" said one of the trainers. "Well you could stay, if that's what you're wondering. We're just waiting for this snowstorm to pass…"

"That shouldn't be too long," said another from the group.

"After all our ace leader just went after him," said the first person that spoke to me.

"How are you going to fight a snowstorm?" asked Aria from behind me.

"We suspect that there's an Abomasnow not too far from here, he said that he wanted to chase it off," said the first guy averting his eyes.

"Will he need help?" I asked.

"No," they answered in unison.

Latias' voice shrilled with anger in my head, 'they're lying!'

I sighed and thought, ' Well we can't do too much.'

'Alright let's ask where this leader guy is, at least.' Said Latias.

"Where's the leader guy?" I asked.

"He said he's going to travel where the storm is harshest." Said one of them.

The other three's eyes fell on the one that spoke, then quickly said," Yeah, leader's going that way. Why, why do you care?"

"Just to satisfy my own curiosity. May we borrow one of the rooms here?"

"Yeah of course, the rooms at the end of the hall upstairs are all open!" said one of them cheerfully.

"Thank you," I said climbing up the stairs. Aria followed and Latias ran up without haste.

Latias voice echoed in my head again, this time saying,' I don't like these people, their voices their intentions are hostile or at least not honest.'

'Are you sure?' I asked.

'Yeah, I highly suggest going after this leader. You never know what he really is doing, Maybe they're some Team wizard trainees?' said Latias.

'If that's the case it's best we get going,' I told her.

'Yeah but still, what if they're doing something stranger?'

'You have a point. Alright let's check it out later tonight then.'

'You have my full support.' said Latias.

'What time though and should we tell Aria?'

'No point in getting her involved. Besides if anything bad happens I'll just scare them away with my form!'

'Latias, I don't think that's the average trainer's first thought, rather defeat and capture…'

'Well you get my point, if they don't run I'll make them, now what time?'

'Does 12:00 sound good? We'll sneak off.'

'Alright at 12, behind the building.'

'Fine by me.'

"What are you guys doing? You realized you guys been standing there for like 5 minutes, right?" came Aria's voice peeling me back from telepathy island.

"Oh um that. It's nothing just a small meeting of the minds." I said.

"Well I guess that has nothing to with me. Just get going."

"Sorry," I said moving towards my room.

The cottage room was cold and very simple, compared to the rest of the stylish building. White walls and a simple easily manageable square shaped room. A bed took up most of the room, and a single window was positioned by the pillow so that you could feel the small winds that came from its cracks. I looked at my watch, which read 10:00 P.M. It seems that it won't be such a long night.

I decided to let my Pokémon stay in my room, and I walked downstairs to converse with the trainer's whose names I got to know rather quickly. The group of five including their leader whose name they would not specify, were all training to battle the elite four, so they were high ranked members. The man who talked to me first was named, Stephen. The other teens were named Glenda, Jeanne, and Leo. I went ahead and cooked up some dinner for everyone and called Arias and Latias down.

I left at 11:00 P.M and went to my room. I hit the lights in my room when I heard Aria closed the door to her room. I looked at my watch and hit the button that activated a neon green light, 11:30 P.M. It was going to be a while. I'll probably go early, just for the fun of it. I put everyone back in, and opened the door slowly. I decided that it was worth making sure everyone was asleep, before I took out my jacket and boots to leave. If anyone asked, the bathroom was the most unbeatable excuse.

Not a squeak came from the door. I was about to silently traverse the dark building when I heard very quiet talking. I headed towards Latias' door, that was across from mine. The talking had become louder, but it wasn't from her room. I snuck to Aria's door, I pushed my head against the door to try to hear them.

'Yes we're on the mountain,' came Aria's voice.

Then a moment passed, had she suspected me?

"No," my heart stopped, she could use telepathy? Then she answered," Of course, as long as the plan remains."

I asked myself, why such coincidences existed. In that second she said," Yeah, anything! I couldn't care less about him, besides he's yours, why would I turn him in?"

Then she stopped mid-sentence and said. "Yeah sorry, I'll remember that the walls have ears, but still though, is it necessary to set up all these people?"

Then she paused.

"Yeah I agree!" she chuckled and continued," Anyhow that's all. Well you can expect us at the designated point soon. Just make sure to keep your end of the bargain. All right take care goodnight."

And she fell silent. I could hear her move around in bed as I quietly made my way back towards my room in caution. I slowly pushed the door closed and waited for a second, watching if she would walk out.

The wind blew outside, as the moments passed. Not a soul stirred in the night, except mine and most likely Latias'.

I opened the door and slowly closed the door again. I crept down the hall and looked around the lounge. The furnace fire had settled down to a rest, making the room absent of light. This was like when I first met Latias. What a coincidence.

No one was awake, that I was aware of, so I decided to grab my coat and boots and go down to the lounge. I made it back to my room and put on my real clothes. I put everything on except my coat and jacket. I grabbed hold of them and made my way back down to the lounge. I put the rest of my clothes on and walked back outside, where Latias waited for me.

"How did you, when did you?" I asked after making sure the door was closed.

'Levitating out my window has its uses you know?' said Latias telepathically.

'Oh right,' I said.

"C'mon I sense life up ahead," said Latias.

We made our way towards the left of the cottage, where there was another mountain peak. I didn't know how long it took but then I heard Latias gasp. I could feel her her sudden anguish and fear rush through my body, paralyzing me.

"Latias, is that you?" I thought trying to straighten out my thoughts.

"How cruel." Cried Latias' voice through my mind.

"What's going on?" I asked. She didn't answer. I moved forward and looked forward with her.

"We've got to save him!"

She ran forward leaving me behind. Perplexed by her words I moved onward following her.

"C'mon stand! My goodness you're weak!" said a man's voice from where Latias was running towards. I stood beside her and met the teenager that stood in the snow before us. His face was covered in snow protection gear and his clothes were as black as night. A pale green colored figure poked out of the snow. Beside the man a large Usaring towered over us.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"The question may be returned," said the teen.

'Careful, he's being hostile.' Warned Latias' voice.

"I heard that a certain someone went out to defeat an abomnasnow. Are you possibly the same teen that set out to find the pokemon?" I said calmly. The man's tone was cold and harsh, I could hear it even through the wind.

"And what if it was me?" asked the teen.

"So then what are you doing not hunting?" I asked without putting too much emotion.

"My pokemon are exhausted, I have to get back."

"To what, not like there's a Nurse Joy. What are you getting back to?"

"None of your business."

Latias walked over to the green figure and uprooted a tall scyther. His body was covered in purple bruises. He had fainted and was completely unaware of the situation.

"Wow," I said dumbfounded.

The man didn't even flinch, he just stood there.

"What were you doing out here?" I asked him.

"Training!" he said.

"One way or the other going too far!" I yelled angrily. "Latias bring him into the cottage."

"You have no right-" the man started to say.

"A brand new camera is in my bag." I bluffed.

He sighed and muttered," Fine you'll regret it though."

"Should I take that as a -" I started to say when Latias voice in my head said,' C'mon the poor scyther is half frozen. We have to take him in.'

I helped Latias carry the beaten up Latias back to the cottage, the teen followed behind us slowly, with his hands in his pockets. I ran around the cottage for medicine but I didn't even feel out of breath. The teenager retreated to his room and we had laid the sycther down on a bed. Latias handed me a first-aid kit. Latias asked me if she could help me with something, but I had nothing, so she brought down blankets for us and decided to watch me as I went ahead doing what I can.

I don't remember when I fell asleep; I just remember having the thought of being done, then blacking out. The sound of people, quietly commenting around me woke me up. A single blanket had been thrown over my shoulders and another was thrown on Scyther. I looked around, the four teenager's from the night before were talking.

I stood up and threw my arms up in a stretch.

"Will one of you guys help me carry this scyther to a medical room in the back?" I asked.

"Sure," said Stephen. Stephen carried him by the scyther's legs and I carried him by his chest. We carried him steadily to make sure we would not drop his blanket. Leo held open the doors as we moved him into a medical room. We put him on a soft table and we walked out.

"Hey, thanks for saving the scyther back there. We owe you one." Said Leo as we were passing by.

"Yeah," agreed Stephan. "Our leader's pretty harsh on his pokemon, such as sending them into battle injured. And since he's the strongest we can't tell him that it's the wrong way to train. I don't mean that he can wipe us out, I mean he can just." He shook his head, trying to find a word to describe his loss of hope. "I don't know what it is, that guy. Maybe it has something to do with strategy. Maybe something else."

"He wasn't always like this though," said Glenda. "We don't know what it was. We were always friends and then one day he simply snapped and became the monster he is now."

"He became violent, arrogant, unpredictable. Tell me am I missing something?" Commented Jeanne.

"Yeah, jerk faced." Chuckled Stephan.

"I wish there was way to free him," I said.

"Who?" asked Stephan.

"Scyther, at least." I said. "Say how many TMs do you guys have?"

"A lot," answered Leo. "Why?"

"If I can borrow your pokemon and bet on scyther, then I just may be able to -"

"Wow, wow, wow," said Leo. "We never gave you permission for that."

"Oh trust me I'm good. I just haven't been out in the field long enough, but in a fight I haven't lost in strategy yet. Besides I got some monster strategies that are unbreakable."

"Yeah, right." Said Leo.

I walked up to him and whispered, "How does a weak Aron defeat the strongest of Pokemon?"

He turned his head at me while I said, "Shell Bell, endeavor, and a nice bullet punch."

He shook and his eyes opened wide.

"Wow. Okay he knows his facts. You have access to my pokemon, under one condition, listen to me if I say there's a move my pokemon won't be able to handle."

I smiled and said," That seems alright."

"But what will we bet?" asked Jeanne.

"I've got nothing." I announced.

"Hmm… I've got something." Said Stephane. He pulled out an old certificate from his bag. "I wasn't planning to use it against him like this, but it would be put to good use now. For blackmailing purposes."

Everyone stared at him.

"What?"

"What is it?" I asked.

"Oh nothing." He said, rolling it up.

"But wouldn't he just come in here to get his Pokemon, regardless." Asked Glenda.

"Not if we all stop him, no." said Jeanne.

"Then he'll be forced." I muttered realizing it. "Alright then let's pull the plan!"

"Let's discuss the plans and switch up our moves." Said Leo excitedly.

"Wait change my Pokemon's moves." Everyone else said shocked.

"I need to exchange strategies, I'll teach them to you, but let's only use 3 Pokemon. Shall we?" I asked.

We sat in the lobby close by so we wouldn't say our strategies out loud. Then we taught the Pokemon moves in an hour and at the end of the hour, right on time, was the guest of honor.

"Good morning, Vice," said Stephan.

Vice, their leader, didn't even answer. He walked to me and simply asked," Scyther."

"No," said Leo.

Vice looked at Leo irritably.

"What? You can't deny -"

"Just did." I said.

"Shutup. Stop this act of foolishness, or I'll be forced to go and get him, with force-"

"Oh so you say." Said Stephan taking out the certificate.

Vice, whom had nothing to say, stood there. For the first time there was emotion, more or less his face went red.

"We'll be fair," I said. "I'll make a bet with you. If you can't beat me, using your friend's team, then Scyther and that certificate, is yours. I beat you, you release scyther. The battle will be with three Pokemon."

"Fine," said Vice. He folded his arms and said, "It's your loss."

Everyone exchanged looks and they nodded at me. We woke everyone else up, Latias and Aria and I gathered my Pokemon. We took a set of stairs down to the stadium beneath the pokemon center. It wasn't really a stadium but more of a field for trainers who want to battle, and since it snowed up there, they created this place as a replacement.

The floor was a synthetic grass field that was made to look like a real field. White paint separated areas where trainer's were supposed to stand and the Pokemon battle. The ceiling was filled with heaters and a series of lights. Everyone stood at the sides, except me and Vice.

"My first Pokemon will be!" shouted Vice, picking out a pokeball. He conjured a conkeldurr onto the field. It was a very large one even slouching over it was as tall as me.

"Then I will bring out!" I took a direct counter to him. I brought out reuniclus.

"Let the battle begin," shouted Leo.

"I won this battle before it even started," shouted Vice. "Conkeldurr! Knock off!"

The conkeldurr ran towards Reuniclus and smacked him with his piece of cement. But Reuniclus slid back, taking the hit and flew to the left. It wasn't a one hit KO. You could see Reuniclus' tan body bruise from the attack.

"What how?!" shouted Vice.

"Reuniclus Calm Mind!" I shouted. Reuniclus put his hands together slowly and from his hands you could see a small light glowing. He moved his hands apart and the light disappeared.

"What's that going to do, Conkeldurr, return! Go Honchkrow!" shouted Vice. He replaced his Coneldurr for a large Honchkrow who glared at Reuniclus from beneath his hat like feathers.

"Reuniclus, recover!" I shouted. Reuniclus' bruise disappeared without a trace.

The game paused for just a second, as we both awaited each other's command.

Then we both shouted at once:

"Reunciclus Calm Mind!"

"Honchkrow Sucker Punch!"

The Honchkrow dove at the Reuniclus to hit him but it became a light tackle that dealt almost very little to no damage. Reuniclus put his hands together again, and made the white light grow larger. Then he separated his hands and the light disappeared into his body.

"Darn it!" said Vice.

"This is checkmate," I said softly. "Reuniclus continue, add another calm mind!"

Reuniclus put his hands together again and charged the light. It grew even larger, forcing him to move his hands apart as if it were becoming a physical ball. He moved his hands apart the ball of light disappeared again.

Vice moved his hand to his pocket for a Pokeball and brought his Honchkrow back into the pokeball. Then he sent out a Druddigon. Its shadow elongated in the light and was cast over Reuniclus, who seemed miniscule compared to it.

Crud, so he wasn't completely full and all-out attack without any kind of tactics, but in this case it must be a back up plan.

"Reuniclus, back up and stay away from Druddigon's tail!" I shouted in advance.

"Dragon tail!" shouted Vice, already figuring out my plan.

The Druddigon moved forward at a quick pace, that was comparable to something faster than a human. Of course what I was asking for was nearly impossible from Reuniclus' point of view. In the books he was much slower than Druddigon.

"Reuniclus, hit him hard, Psychic!" I shouted

Reuniclus, closed his eyes as Druddigon started to swing around.

"Raaarrrrrr!" hissed Druddigon running towards him.

"Release!" I shouted, to the Reuniclus.

Reuniclus pushed his hands forward. And Reuniclus disappeared. No. He flew. He flew straight up into the sky and slammed into one of the lights.

The tension in the room increased, I tightened my fists and could feel my palm becoming white.

"Reuniclus, move -" I started to say.

The Druddigon came back down like a swooping bird. He slammed Reuniclus with his tail. I put my arms together in an instant bracing for impact. Then instead he glowed into white light and flew into my ball. Then from one of the borrowed balls a Gliscor flew out.

I looked closely at the druddigon, he was breathing hard and I could see the muscles in his chest tightening, the Psychic must have done a lot of damage. I looked up and saw a dent in the ceiling.

"Perfect," I muttered . His team consisted of only Pokemon that used physical moves, the chances of any of them having an ice type move was incredibly low. So that makes this game checkmate, if the next move is held off.

"Gliscor, substitute!" I shouted.

"Gli-" said Gliscor. He floated idly in midair, then a duplicate of himself sat in midair. I couldn't tell which was which.

"Get that out of here!" shouted Vice. "Nail the one on the right with a dragon tail!"

Druddigon jumped to the two Gliscor and hit the one on the right. The gliscor stood intact, it was the fake!

"Gliscor, toxic!" I shouted.

Gliscor spat a purple liquid at the Druddigon that he created from his mouth.

"Check-mate," I said," I would prefer it you would take less time out of both of our days and give up already."

Wow, I sound evil, I thought with a cold chuckle. But this is all with the intent on saving the Pokemon from him, otherwise such dirty tactics in rapid succession were not my norm.

"Fine," said Vice walking over to me. I put my Gliscor away, because I felt guilty for resorting to such a level of lowness.

He walked across the field to me, taking something out of his pocket. I could see it was a red and white ball, if I looked at it closely.

I raised my hand for him to hand it to me.

He walked directly to me with the ball in hand and said," Like, I would give up that easily!"

Then he pressed the button on the ball and another large Pokemon flew out to my left. It was a Rampardos.

"The winner is the last man that survives!" shouted Vice.

I stared at him, 'what a psycho?', but before I could decline he shouted," Rampardos get him!"

"What are you doing Vice!?" shouted Leo's voice from afar.

'I'm going to stop him!'came Latias' voice booming into my head.

'Don't! Let us take care of it!' I thought.

'Are you crazy, you'll get killed!' shouted Latias.

I started to run away towards the wall behind me, and thought to, ' If you transform here and this might make the whole trip for nothing, changing in the public is going to screw all of us up!"

'Fine, but I have to do something!'

'Don't worry, I'm sure everyone else is going to stop this psycho!'

I turned around and reached for one of the borrowed Pokeballs when I noticed the Rampardos was barely a couple yards away. How was that possible? I never knew he was this fast.

I dropped the ball and ran out of the way as he slammed his head into a wall, leaving a large crater in it. He pulled his head out of the ditch and snorted once. Then he started to run after me.

I looked around and saw that Leo and his gang were taking out some Pokemon. I could see an Infernape, a Drapion, a mamoswine, and a Medicham They started to run towards me. I turned and ran towards them.

"Run! Run!" they shouted running towards me.

Then from my left, Vice tackled me to the ground and quickly got up. As I was about to get back up he kicked me down square in the jaw making my head bounce against the ground with the force. He sat on my chest and held down one of my arms as he punched me with his free hand. I tried to move my free arm but it didn't help, he had his foot on top of it. He punched me across my right cheek.

Then before he could smack me again, in a white blur, Vice was up and was pinned down to my left. It was the Infernape.

I sat up and saw that the Medicham had given a quick low sweep making Rampardos fall face flat into ground with a shaking, thud. Drapion with the mamoswine was holding down Druddigon, trying to make him pass out from the intoxication.

I stood up and noticed how much his punches and kick stung. This was definitely going to make my face blue with bruises. I rubbed my jaw and walked over to Vice. Stephen ducked down to Vice and pulled out a blue ball from his waist. It was a great ball, that was most likely Scyther's ball.

"Hey thanks," said Stephen handing the ball to me.

I smiled and said," You better not use these tactics to death, I think this is better left as a last resort. Makes battling boring, you know."

"I guess you're right, good thing the only Pokemon that Vice have is perfectly offensive."

"Definitely, but I worry, he's going to throw out more of his Pokemon for other Pokemon. It's not the Pokemon, just the tactics you use with them, sometimes. Anywho." I took the ball from his hand," I'll set him free once we get down this mountain. I guess tomorrow would sound right." I looked at the watch it was pretty late. "I don't know, besides my jaw hurts."

I looked towards the staircase and the scyther was there.

"Hey!" I said. "You shouldn't be up yet you're still pretty beaten!"

The scyther ran, well he limped, over to me at top speed, with a small smile.

"Scy-Scy!" said the Scyther.

'He said thank you and that he wouldn't mind being you're new Pokemon, if of course you wouldn't mind.' Translated Latias.

"Hey it's alright, you're free now!" I said. Ignoring the part about him being my Pokemon. 'He said that all with two words?'

'Yeah…' said Latias.

I smiled and said," C'mon let's go back up, I'll think about it."

Scyther pulled me into a hug, or really I avoided his knife like hands the best I could and moved closer to him.

"No Scyther stop, stop!" I shouted.

Scyther wouldn't stop as everyone started to laugh at the two of us.

[This is Setsuna Damius reporting live from my own bunker in D.C. Wait I'm not in D.C though… Oops. Well anyway, this is not my lucky week. I got my 3Ds stolen, my friends PSP got jacked. Not nice! And that means my 32 Gig card, my Pokemon Y (Just when I just hatched my Goomey) and the 3Ds itself. Well whatever I just hope the thief returns both objects, when everyone gets called in the next school day. Muahahaha…. Anyway, so yeah, I'm still on the 'I have no idea if I can end this story by the age of 18' list. Even Shinx's Tragedy I really need to finish it this year. But well at this point I can say that I'm past the halfway point in this book, well this section of the book. Like I can separate this book into three sections, within the next two chapter, I'd probably be in the 1/3 mark. I still need to plan out the next part better, I have some changes I want to do. Well so yeah, nothing else to say.

Tip of the week:

I'm running dry on ideas again. I think at the moment, I like this strategy of baton passing Quiver Dance Smeargle onto a Togekiss. It's pretty neat and makes Togekiss pretty hard to defeat.

Character profile Aria.

So probably the question is why did I name Aria, Aria? Well if you want to know, you'll need to know about vocaloids first. Vocaloids is this software in Japan, that contain multiple recordings syllables. So let's say you want the software to say :'Konichiwa' so then you'd put the preloaded syllables together 'ko-ni-chi-wa.' There's a way to pitch their voice to make it sound like they're singing! So there's a song series done with a voice (and the most popular voice) Hatsune Miku, a song called Spica. At first I didn't like it, but then it grew onto me. Then I loved the next song in the song series called Aria! (Hard to explain, Aria is a girl that sings about Spica and Spica sings about Aria). Side note: most of these songs are done in Japanese.

So who is Aria based off of in my life?

Well honestly, no one I just wanted a day to day average person.

So what's Aria's past?

Sorry part of the storyline, won't be answered till the next chapter muahaha.

Repair Notes: By the gods, my English is Cringey. It still is, but not this much. How many times will I use Lightly, before I'm happy? I just. (Shakes head in agony). I guess this is how the original artist of One punch man felt. Man I have crappy, art, but the storyline and battle is so good! (Except I don't think the story itself isn't that great.) STOP STAYING and I thought to myself! Seriously! Shtap me! If I had a time machine I'd revert to the past and say, knock it off!
