I do not own Hannibal. I only own Simone Hale and her mother.
Story start
Jack wanted me to come into the bureau the next morning, but I had more important plans. I was heading to the nearest animal shelter or pound to find me a new friend and also a good protector. Hannibal's advances were not violent, but they were getting too comfortable for my liking. He was an attractive man there was no doubt to that, but I was too worried about him killing me at any wrong move. His physical advances were confusing me and I could not afford to be confused when my life hangs in the balance with him.
"Jack, this is important and I will not be coming to the bureau today. I will tomorrow and I'm sure I will have some information by then," I snapped on the phone before hanging up and entering the animal shelter. I tried to hold my breath while walking past the cat area because I was allergic, but my face lit up with a smile when I saw all of the dogs. I wanted to take them all, but I doubt the apartment complex would enjoy me having tons of dogs in that beautiful apartment.
"So what kind of dog are you looking for today?" the worker at the animal shelter questioned me as we walked between all of the cages.
"A big lovable teddy bear but also a great protector," I answered honestly before gasping in surprise. A beautiful blue pit-bull was sitting at the door of the cage giving the most adorable smile. "I think I've found my lovable teddy bear," I whispered before walking over to the dog's cage to say hello. I laughed when it immediately started shaking its tail and licking my hand. "You're such a sweetheart," I told the dog before smiling up at the worker. "I'll take this awesome dog," I said and the worker explained the dog's name was Scout and he was two years old.
"Thanks and have a great day," the worker told me after I had finished filling out all the paperwork and buying some food and essentials for Scout, who was happy to be leaving that cage. I would have to find a nice place for him to run around though so he would not always be cooped up in the apartment.
"Let's go home, Scout," I said and the dog barked happily. I took us back to the apartment, and I spent the next few hours enjoying getting to know my new friend and ignoring phone calls from Jack. I did not want to speak with him yet because anything I said would no doubt end badly again for Will.
A knock on the door made both Scout and I stop playing on the living room floor. We had been having a tug of war with a toy that I bought him from the shelter. Hannibal's voice called through the door and I really wished Scout had growled like he had done earlier when Jack's last voicemail was really angry, but Scout happily barked and made his way to the door.
"Of course the dog I get to help protect is going to love Hannibal," I thought making my way to the door and opening it. Hannibal was soon attacked by a loving dog, who wanted to kiss the man's hands and his face.
"I see you have a new friend," Hannibal said in surprise but he was kind to the dog.
"Yeah, I was serious when I said I wanted a dog, his name is Scout," I said throwing Scout's toy so he'd run to the living room so Hannibal could enter the apartment. "How are you today?" I asked to be polite as he walked to the living room to sit on the couch, and Scout was quick to put his toy on Hannibal's knee so he would play with Scout.
"I'm fine, Jack just called me to ask if I could check on you and why you weren't coming to work," he explained and I covered my face with my hand.
"I already told Jack I was getting a dog today and that I was not going to go into work. Me going into work is only going to end up in Will getting hurt," I said frustrated as I walked towards the kitchen to get something to drink for Hannibal and me.
"Yes, it does seem inevitable that Will will be hurt in the end," Hannibal said and everything froze as I was thrown into a vision.
Will was sitting in a cell with Jack, Dr. Lecter, and another man standing on the other side of Will's cell. "I can't believe you did this Will," Jack said unable to believe that Will had killed somebody. "Simone will be so disappointed that what she said did not help you," Jack continued while Will's eyes never left Dr. Lecter. A shadow was on the wall behind Dr. Lecter with him being a tall figure with horns.
"Simone run," Will whispered looking straight at her before he disappeared and a vision of the demonic form of Hannibal holding me in his arms and my a glow was coming from my stomach.
"You're mine, Simone, and so is he," the demonic form of Hannibal said before placing a hand on the bright glow, which turned into a black glow instead.
A scream left me as I left the vision. My hands were shaky as Scout rushed over to me to try to comfort me. Hannibal was watching me curiously before he left the couch to stand beside me. My legs and hands slowly stopped shaking as he approached me.
"Simone, are you all right? Why did this vision bother you so much?" Hannibal questioned me as he placed his hands on my shoulders.
"I can't lie but I'm not telling him what I saw," I thought angry with how well he could detect lies. "I saw what happens to Will eventually after many cases," I told him hoping that would be it, but of course he asked if it dealt with him. "Yes, he finds out stuff he shouldn't and you turn it around on him," I told him honestly before moving to walk away from him, but he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"That's not all you saw," he said softly before biting my neck again and then he gave it a kiss. "What else did you see, Simone?" he whispered to me as a shiver went down my spine.
"I saw what Will sees you as before you disappear from his life," I told him before turning around in his arms. His curious look and squeeze to my waist makes me continue. "You're become a nightmare to him, a demon," I whispered before I became lost in his eyes. He was looking at me so seriously and all I could think about was the last part of the vision.
"Do you see me as a demon?" he whispered to me and I shook my head.
"If I saw you as a demon, I would have disappeared days ago," I whispered to him as he seemed to capture me in his hold and gaze. "You're mine," his eyes seemed to say before he leaned forward and kissed me.
