Hi guys. Wow, it's been quite some time since I last updated. I've been very busy these past months. Plus, I couldn't decide which chapter to choose. So I mixed two chapters into one. So I hope you like it. Oh and If you want me to continue with one more chapter before the epilogue, leave a review. If not then say just do the epilogue.

Back together

The sound of beeping filled his ears as he regained consciousness. Opening his heavy eye lids half way, he sees that he's in an ordinary hospital room.

'What the…I don't remember being here.' He thought, looking down at his hand.

A smaller hand rested upon his. His eyes traveled up to see the owner of the hand. It was her. The person he most desired to see. Gently, he interlocked his fingers with hers. He then quietly called her name. It took a few calls for her to wake up. She inhaled deeply, and rubbed her sleepy eyes. Slowly, he saw her eyes open. Their eyes met up as she smiled at him.

" Well, took you long enough to wake up." She said, holding that special smile he missed.

He chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. " Why am I here Chichi?"

She stared back at his wondering eyes.

" I'd rather not say. I just want to forget about all of it." She said, looking down at the tiled floor.

She was upset from the looks of it. He laid his hand back down at his side, and asked " Please tell me. From what I can see, it really affected you."

She looked down at her hand. He had his fingers interlocked with hers. It felt like ages since their hands were joined together.

Sighing, she gave in and started retelling everything that had happen earlier.

*Flashback of events

First, she had managed to escape Narmin's grasp. She ran away from him, glancing back every once in a while. He was angry of course, but didn't go after her. He merely shrugged and disappeared. She stopped and felt a huge gust of wind hit her from above. The fierce battle between Vegeta and Goku looked like it had barely begun. This frighten her like most of the people who were running and screaming for help. Chichi still stood in the same spot, despite the fact that they were so near. She saw them exchange blow after blow. Neither side was holding back, which resulted in buildings crashing and toppling over. She was definitely not in a safe location. She screamed for them to stop, but her voice was lost in the sounds of the battle. She saw Goku almost hit the concrete street. She took this opportunity to run over to him.

" Goku please stop! There's no need for all this!"

He coldly glared back at her. She halted instantly, her body trembling. Never had she seen that look on her husband's face. Not even when he got mad or angry. No, this look was on a whole another level.

" No, I will not stop until he is buried under a pile of rocks. So stay out of it. I will deal with you when this is all over."

And with that, he took off.

She fell to her knees from the shock. That was not Goku. Had a monster consumed all the good that her husband had? She hung her head low. She bit down on her lower lip. This all must have been some kind of nightmare. Chichi felt her eyes well up with tears. Her heart ached and her knees stung from hitting the concrete. She felt like crying all this pain away. She felt so alone.

Time went on and the battle finally ended. Chichi let the last of her tears fall and looked up. The stranger who took over her husband's body loomed above her. He cracked his knuckles, and chuckled lowly.

" This will be all over in a second. Anything you would like to say?"

Chichi clenched her hands into fists. " Yeah one thing, get your ugly spirit out of my husband's body!"

The man snarled and was about to punch her when out of nowhere, a large blast hits him from behind. This made Chichi fly back and land right on her back, knocking the air right out of her lungs, which ended up knocking her out. She awoke later to see an injured Vegeta holding his arm. He was nearby, looking down at her.

" V-vegeta?" Her voice audible enough for Vegeta to her.

" I've called over a few people to help you and that…idiot."

" What about you?" She asked, not acknowledging the insult made directly at her husband.

" I have enough strength and energy to get back home. Worry about yourself." He says, as he turns his back to her. " And when he wakes, tell him I defeated him."

Chichi closed her eyes saying " I'll let him know."

After being checked and treated by the medics, Chichi made her way to Goku. She kneeled beside his body. She looked him over, noticing wounds and bruises all over his body. His clothes were torn up. She placed a hand over his forehead, brushing his bangs away from his face. Chichi smiled as she moved her hand to his cheek. In seconds, he placed a hand over hers. This startled her, as she saw his eyes half-open.

" Goku, your awake. Thank goodness." Chichi said, relieved.

" I'm so sorry for doing all this." He said, closing his eyes. " This is all my fault."

" No it's not, you weren't in control. I know you would never willing do something like this, especially if others were involved." She gets closer and pulls him into an embrace.

" But everyone saw me do all this." He whispers, sadly.

Chichi kisses his cheek. " It doesn't matter, don't put yourself down. You need to focus on getting rest. We'll deal with all this afterwards."

She feels his arms wrap around her. " You'll stay with me, won't you?" He asked, weakly.

" Yes, I won't run anymore." She whispers as she felt his body go limp.

Chichi laid him back down and called the medics over. They ran over and called for a stretcher. Once the stretcher got there, they hoisted him up on it. Before they ran back to the hospital, which surprisingly wasn't destroyed, Chichi asked if she could go along. One of them said yes and they all quickly walked to the hospital. Once inside, Chichi was told to stay in the waiting room. She obeyed and decided to check on her mother in the meantime. She wondered what her mother was going to say when she saw her.

*End of flashback

" And that's what happen." Chichi bit her lip, when she saw Goku get out of bed.

He walked over to the only window in the room. He stood there for a minute or two before saying " So I did all this."

" You weren't the only one who did it." Chichi got up from the chair she sat on, and walked to her husband's side.

" This is awful. I can't believe we decided to fight here. None of these people deserved this." He clenched his fist. " Why can't I remember doing all this? It makes no sense."

Chichi lowered his fist. " You weren't in control. I know you'd never hurt innocent people, or me."

He quickly looks at his wife. " I hurt you?"

Chichi frowned. " Were you not listening to me?"

" I listened a little." He says, rubbing his head. " I should have paid more attention. Sorry."

Chichi sighed, and smiled up at him. " You're definitely back to normal."

Goku smiled back and pulled her close. His smile disappears as he asked " I hurt you didn't I?"

" No, your other form only scared me." She whispers, as his arms wrapped around her small form.

Moments later, Chichi tells Goku to go back to sleep. He says he's sorry for frightening her and places an unexpected kiss on her forehead.

Chichi watched as Goku instantly fell asleep. She brushes his bangs back, and returns the kiss on the forehead.

She smiled and thought 'I'm sure all of our problems are over. I promise I won't run. I'll stay and wait as long as I have to for you to return.'
