I kissed Sam like I had never kissed her before and I knew that we were both way past dizzy. When we pulled away, we heard cheering and we saw three people getting ready to tackle us, but I turned Sam and me intangible so that we wouldn't fall over.
We walked off of the alter and we went to go have our pictures taken in the ocean. I smiled at Sam as I offered her my hand. She took it and smiled back at me. We slowly waded out into the water and we posed for several pictures until the photographer told us that we could pose how we wanted. We both decided to change for these pictures in case anything happened. I was now wearing a pair of dress pants with a white button-up and Sam was wearing a simple white dress that stopper just above her knees. For the first poses, we faced each other and held each other's hands. For the next one, we kissed as a wave crashed over us, knocking us both down into the water. When we both came up for air, we burst out laughing. After we were soaking wet, we decided that we needed to get out of the ocean. (AN: They had waded in a little farther than they meant to.)
When we walked back out of the water, I smiled at our family. When we finally got to where everyone else was standing, I saw that everyone around us was talking happily. I smiled at my parents and they smiled back at Sam and I. Sam put her hand on my shoulder and I turned to look at her. "Danny, we forgot about the tradition where the bride throws the flowers for all of the other unmarried women to catch." I nodded and whistled so that I could get everyone's attention. "Sam's gonna throw the bouquet now so everyone please head over to the balcony."
Everyone went over to the balcony that I had made out of ice so that Sam could be up high when she threw the bouquet. Once all of the men were away from the balcony, Sam turned around and threw the bouquet behind her. I didn't look at where the bouquet was until Sam had already turned around. I grinned when I saw that Jazz was holding the flowers in her. When she looked at me, I smiled at her and nodded.
When Sam came down from the balcony, we both walked over to where Jazz and Tucker were now standing. When Tucker saw me he grinned and hugged me. "Congrats man!" I smiled at him and said "You too man." I became serious and said "But, if you hurt my sister, you will be spending a lot more time in the ghost zone, am I clear?" He nodded and gulped. I grinned "Now let's go head to the reception at Fenton Works."
After we left the beach, we headed to Fenton Works for the reception. We had ordered a 4 tier cake that was black and white with green, purple, red, and blue accents. We put the cake on the kitchen table and Sam and I sat down. Mom pulled out her camera and while Sam wasn't looking, I grabbed a handful of icing. As soon as she turned back to toward me I shoved the icing in her face. She growled and grabbed and handful and put it in my hair. I laughed and fell out of my chair in the process. Jazz, Tucker, and Dani all started to pelt us with cake and by the time we were done, Sam and I were covered head to toe in cake icing. We looked at each other and then burst out laughing.
After we had gotten cleaned up, we went downstairs to have dinner with our families. When we walked into the dining room, Sam and I sat down next to each other. Mom had already put the food on the table and we were currently the only ones at the table so I turned toward Sam and kissed her. She deepened the kiss and we didn't pull away until we heard someone clear their throat. I fought the urge to roll my eyes. I sighed and pulled away right as our guests started to walk into the dining room. The Manson's, Foley's, Dani, Tucker, Jazz and my parents were all seated around the table. After we ate, we said toasts.
Tucker was the first one to say a toast. He smiled at us "I remember when we became friends and when that turned into us being best friends and from best friends to brothers. I also remember when you and Sam first met. You were wrapped around her finger the second you laid eyes on her and I'm glad that you finally stopped being so clueless. I know you and Sam will be happy with each other and that you will make a great Father, King and husband. Most of all, you're the brother I've always wanted and you've always been there. Sam, you're like the sister that I never had and I know that you will be an amazing Mother, Queen and wife. Congrats guys, I'm know that you guys will be happy together." He raised his glass and said "To Mr. and Mrs. Fenton!"
All of the toasts were pretty much the same as Tuckers. After everyone that wanted to have said a toast, Sam and I decided that we wanted to dance so we walked into the living room and I put on some music. Faithfully by Journey played through the speakers as we started to dance around the living room. I quietly sang into Sam's ear as we moved to the music.
After we had finished our dance, my mom tapped on Sam's shoulder and asked if she could cut in and Sam smiled and let us have our mother/son dance. I took my mom's hands in mine and slowly started to turn in circles. She smiled at me and I smiled back at her. We held each other close as the music played and when the song ended, I hugged my mom and kissed her cheek.
While mom and I had been dancing, Sam and her dad had also been dancing. Sam smiled at me and walked over to where I was standing and kissed my cheek. I smiled at her and took her hand so that we could go say goodbye to our families ad go on our honeymoon.
We walked into the kitchen and got everyone's attention so that we could say goodbye. Everyone looked up and smiled when we walked through the door. "Hey we're getting ready to leave and we wanted to say bye before we left." Danielle walked up to us with tear filled eyes and I frowned. "What's wrong Dani?" I asked. "She wrapped her arms around Sam and I and whispered "I'll miss you guys." I looked at Dani and said "We'll only be gone for a week or so Dani. It won't be that long, I promise." I told her. "But, I thought you guys were going to get a house in town?" I smiled "We are, but we haven't had the time to get one yet so we will get one when we come back." I kissed her cheek and hugged her to me and Sam did the same. We made sure to hug everyone before we went down to the lab and opened the Fenton Portal. I took Sam's hand and we transformed before flying through the portal toward our lair.
