Note 1: I apologize for the lack of updates. For a long time I was in conflict where to go with this story... my good side told me to keep it light, and my bad side told me to go all out. So after the right... encouraging... I decided to go with what I was supposed to do. That means the rating will go up, and things may become somewhat heavy for the normal audience. I hope that my readers will accept my decision. I just want to go and see how far I can go mentally...

That said, its good to be back. This chapter won't be long since I am experimenting, but the next one surely will. Kudos!

" There is a room where the light won't find you..."

Guilt.

His body hurts... His mind hurts... And for some reason he can't seem to open his eyes. Just what's going on? The last thing he remembered is stepping into the train to go to Yosuke's place. Yes, that's right. Yesterday they had agreed to go to the brunette's place to talk things out. A lot had happened in a short while and everything needed to be told.

One of those things was his lost ability to summon Personae. Thinking about it made it sort of weird; just how was Adachi able to do that anyway? He stole Souji's card, yes, but was that the only thing needed to prevent someone from summoning his Personae's? Or was there something else going on? Had he fucked up so bad that his powers had diminished just enough so it could be taken away? He had absolutely no idea, and his mind was so tired that he couldn't think straight anyway.

The train, right. Well, after a small trip south to where Yosuke lived he stepped out. He found himself in an unknown city were skyscrapers blocked out most of the sky. The air smelled really bad and not a single tree could be found. This city almost reminded himself of his old home town, only here it was just plain dirty. There was also a lot of traffic, and most people drove in a tunnel vision which resulted in near accidents. Was this really the place where his friend moved to? Souji knew that Yosuke disliked Inaba because it was so dull, but this place wasn't all sunshine and bunnies too.

The teen took out his cellphone and opened the internet browser. He typed the brunette's address and within a few minutes his phone showed Souji the fastest way to his destination. Frowning he placed it back in his pocket and an annoyed sigh escaped from his lips. Great, he had to walk a while through this loud and dirty place for quite some time because the apartment wasn't close to the station. And sadly there weren't any busses that could bring him there ( or closer to where he should be for that matter. )

After five minutes of walking he had a feeling that something was off. The ominous fog seemed to get thicker and thicker by the minute, and he could swear that someone or something was following him. So he began to run and went from one alley into another in the hope he would lose his pursuer. When he had the feeling that he was alone again he stopped running and stood still to catch his breath.

A fatal mistake.

He instantly felt a fierce punch against his stomach and he fell onto his knees. What the hell was that and where did it come from?! The punch should've come from someone in front of him but he couldn't see anyone. Coughing he tried to let new oxygen flow into his lungs, but it was ended when someone elbowed him just below his neck. Souji fell flat down on his stomach and he literally saw stars when his face hit the ground. The attacker then grabbed him by his silvery hair and pulled his face a little up. There was definitely someone standing in front of him, but the yellowish fog made it too hard to figure out the identity of the person.

" My... aren't you naughty? You must be teached a lesson, don't you agree? "

Souji grit his teeth and tried to link the voice to a face, but it sounded so warped that he couldn't make it out.

For a second nothing happened, so Souji wanted to open his mouth to try and reply. But then he received a merciless kick to the face and almost immediately the lights went out.

So that's what happened... Maybe he should open his eyes now and see what prevented him from moving.

So he slowly opened his eyes, and he grunted when he was surprised by the painful feeling of his bruised body. His face and especially his ribs felt like they were on fire. Biting on his lower lip he forced himself to ignore the pain and instead focus himself on his surroundings. He was standing, and his hands were tied to a wall. He then narrowed his eyes and he began to look around. Wait... his knew this place... Oh yes he knew it all too well. His breathing fastened and he began to wriggle around desperately in an attempt to try and escape. He knew all too well that if he stayed here for too long that something bad would happen. He had to escape, now.

" You poor little trapped animal..."

Souji froze and his eyes rolled slowly to the right. The door of this dimly lit room was open, and a silhouette appeared. It walked nonchalant towards the teen, and once it stood in front of him it crossed its arms.

Harsh yellow eyes stared straight into Souji's eyes, and the teen noticed he had stopped breathing.

Because the person that stood in front of him...

Was himself...
