My Journey in Lima, Ohio Chapter 9

A/N: Hey guys it's me again. I'm sorry I haven't updated this story for so long. For one thing, my school work had taken up most of my time; for another thing, there's something bothering me, I'll tell you at the end of this chapter. Enjoy nonetheless!

After the road trip, the bond between Austin and Ally had become stronger than ever. It was the first time they had opened up to others about their issues and they were glad to have each other by their side. They knew they were not alone and they couldn't be more thankful for that.

What's more, they had been spending more time with each other as well. Not only were they sharing their problems with each other, but they were also keeping an eye on each other. It was going great so far. Ally had just turned down Dallas's invite for a party at his house last week, saying that she had been grounded. Austin had thrown away all the cigarettes he owned and he hadn't smoked ever since. He guessed the reason why he could control himself was that he didn't need cigarettes to make him feel alive again. Ally could already do that.

Right now, the two were chatting in front of Ally's locker. Ally looked at her watch. 7:50. They got five minutes to chat before Dallas arrived at school. She certainly did not want her boyfriend to catch her with Austin.

"I still can't believe Dallas will buy your excuse," he started, "I mean like come on! Being grounded sounds obviously like an excuse!"

"I don't think he is that stupid," she said as she started taking out her books, "He knows something is up. I don't think I can get away with him next time."

"Don't panic," he held up his hands, "We can figure out other excuses."

"Like what?"

"Like…" he thought as he kept snapping his fingers, "Pretending to be sick?"

"That's not any better!"

"How about… saying that you need to babysit?"

"He's not gonna buy the family shit again that's for sure!"

"Well… I…" he sighed, "I got nothing for you."

She let out a sigh as well. Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw Dallas and his friends marching into the corridor.

"He's here," she whispered in panic as she pushed him away, "Leave! Now!"

Austin strode away as fast as he could, but it was still not fast enough for Dallas to not notice him.

"Who the hell is that punk?" He asked with a frown.

"Who?" she decided to play dumb.

"That freak you were just done talking to, Ally!" he snapped.

"Oh that," she decided to drop the act, "It's just some loser I had to work with in Chemistry. No big deal."

"It better not be," he muttered, "Anyway, Stella is having a party tonight. You ARE coming, right?"

"Wow, tonight?"

"Yeah, what's wrong with that?"

"Well you see I…" she started to stammered. But before she could finish her sentence, she was pushed back to the locker by Dallas and he put his hands on both of her sides so she couldn't escape.

"Listen here," he muttered in a deep voice, enough to make her panic, "I have enough of this shit! Stop making up all those damn excuses! I don't know what's up with you but you ARE coming with me to the party tonight! Got it?"

She looked at him in the eyes and knew instantly that if she refused to follow his lead then she was going to be in deep water. After a few seconds of debating, she had no choice but to nod her head.

"Okay," he released his hands and said in a firm voice, "I'm picking you up at 7. You BETTER be ready."

Then he walked away to class, leaving her in the corridor.

Shit! What am I gonna do?

She hurried to class nonetheless. After she had settle down in her seat, she took out her phone and texted Austin.

"Austin, Dallas just forced me to go to a party with him. What can I do?" she wrote.

After a few seconds, he replied.

"When's the party?"

"Tonight."

"Wow this's gonna be hard…"

"Damnit! I can't control myself if Dallas kept stuffing drugs into my face!"

"Stop it! Okay? There's got to be a way out of this!"

"How?"

This time it took him a full minute to reply.

"Okay, here's a plan. You go to the party and try your best to get Dallas drunk. After he is drunk, you can sneak out and he won't even remember! You think you can do it?"

"I think so… at least it's better than nothing."

"See? Problem solved! I told you there's got to be a way out of it :p"

"Yes, you're right. Now don't get too full of yourself."

"Got it xd"

She put away her phone with a smile. It was nice to know there was someone behind her back, helping her out no matter what. She just hoped that she wouldn't wake up tomorrow morning with drugs and beer in her hands.

A/N: This chapter is more like a filter one so it's a bit short. Anyway about that something which is bothering me, the truth is I don't know if I want to continue writing this story anymore. I love this story and I have actually planned out the rest of the plot. I know it's really rude to just discontinue a story like this, but still there are three major reasons why I want to stop. One, school work just makes it impossible for me to sit down and write; Second, the responds I got from the last few chapters were a bit disappointing, like I only got three reviews for my last chapter; Third, it seems that my feels for Auslly is cooling down. I don't even watch the show anymore. I have no idea what going with the show now. Don't get me wrong, I still love them. It's just that I'm not that crazy about them anymore. So what do you guys think? Should I insist on finishing the story? Or should I just call it off? Please let me know in the comments. I really want to make up my mind. Merry Christmas by the way :)
