HEY! Been way too long, but I think it's about time I wrap this up right? Well, I'll not keep you waiting any longer, here's the finale! Thank you to all those who've been supporting and waiting, hope its worth it!

By the time Sasuke came back home everyone had left, or so he thought. He had expected to come home to an empty house, not even expecting to see Itachi who was supposed to be staying over his girlfriend's for the weekend. Those expectations were shattered when he found EVERYONE in the exact same position he had left them hours before. The only difference, Anko was waaaay more pissed than she had been previously. How did he know this? She was the first to attack him when he entered the room.

"You IDIOT! What took you so long?!" she yelled, pouncing on her unsuspecting victim.

The squeal that left his lips he still denies to this day.

"What the hell is wrong with you woman?!" he asked, when he was sure his heart was not going to jump out of his chest.

"I've been here waiting for you for hours! That's what! Next time, you guys are on your own!" Anko said, turning her attention to someone behind her.

Sasuke, his eyes following her movements, froze when he saw who was behind her.

"Well thank you for blowing that cover Anko." Gaara mumbled, getting up from his position.

Anko didn't respond, Itachi had dragged her out the room to go 'calm her down'.

"Well that's our cue." Naruto said, following the couple's lead and exiting the room.

The others followed little by little, until no one but the two were left in the room. The movement went unnoticed by them though; they were too caught up in each others gaze. It wasn't until the silence got unbearable (about ten minutes of them being alone) that any of them spoke.

"Sasuke look-"

"Tenten I-"

They spoke at once. This of course resulted in another long bout of awkward silence, either of them afraid to speak and interrupt the other.

Sasuke's patience was the shortest of the two however, and soon enough he was talking again.

"Ok this is ridiculous." he said, referring to the awkward silence between them.

"Ok, just listen, and if after I'm done you decide to walk away, then at least I'll know I've said all I had to say and I tried. OK?" he said, the last part coming in as gently as he could possibly say it. Tenten who didn't expect to hear such gentle tones coming from him because of his outburst could only nod as she waited for him to say all that he had to say.

"OK, so... I don't even know where to start... I don't know how to apologize, I don't know how to talk to you, I don't know how to tell you how I feel... I don't even know how you feel... The only thing I know, is that the past few weeks have been the worst weeks of my life. I barely ate, I never spoke to anyone, I didn't leave my room, I didn't sleep, the only thing I could do was think.. I thought about you... only you... how I met you, how it felt the first time... how I felt when I woke up and you weren't there... how it felt to see you again, be with you again... lose you again.. the incident with Saku-bitch... everything... and I realised that, I can't.. I can't do this anymore.. I can't keep thinking about this, I can't keep feeling like this, I can't keep wondering about something that should have never happened in the first place-"

Before he could finish Tenten was halfway to the door, tears in her eyes, unable to hear anymore.

"Where are you going?!" he asked, grasping onto her hand and pulling her towards him. "You're not supposed to walk away until I'm completely finished."

"So what, I should stand here and listen to you call falling in love with me a mistake?! I should just stand here and let you trample on my feelings?! You are such an asshole!"

She shouted, pulling her arm free from his.

"No! That's not what I'm doing!"

"That is sure as hell what it sounds like! Do you even have feelings for me anymore Sasuke? Like what's the point of us even continuing this conversation?!"

"Because I'm in love with you! Because I'm miserable without you dammit! Because every minute I'm away from you is killing me! Dammit Tenten, because I want you back.. I want us back.."

"Why?.." she said it so softly he was almost sure he heard her incorrectly. Why? Was she serious?

"Why?"

"Yea, why? Why do you want me back? Why me? You tried before and it obviously didn't work so why? Why should I agree to be with you when you don't trust me? When you believed that bitch instead of me?... When you chose her over me?.."

"I.." he was speechless. This was something he was definitely not expecting her to respond like this. "I don't know.." he said, and he genuinely didn't. Why should she really give him another chance? He didn't deserve one. He had put her through so much, too much. If she never forgave him he would understand. If she decided she didnt want to be with him, as much as it hurts, he would have to understand that too right?

"I can't give you a reason. I can't make you love me. And if you still have feelings for me, I can't force you to stay in a relationship with me. Especially not after everything I've put you through. I've made mistakes in the past, and if those mistakes make me lose the most important person in my life, then that's a consequence I'm going to have to live with."

An uncomfortable silence settled between them again.

Sasuke made a move to walk out the room, accepting the fact that he had lost her for good when he felt her grab onto his shirt, hindering his exit.

She was still standing behind him when she spoke.

"You know, I hated the past few weeks.. I hated knowing that she got between us... I hated feeling like you didn't think I was important enough, even though you said you loved me.. I hated questioning your feelings for me.. But more than anything I hated that I couldn't see you.. I couldn't kiss you... You weren't mine... It drove me crazy how much I wanted you... how much I love you.." he felt her release his shirt and instead rest her forehead on his shoulder from behind. He felt as her tears began to seep into his shirt, and he wanted nothing more than to take her into his arms but he couldn't bring himself to move.

"I love you Sasuke Uchiha. I love you more than anything. I want you more than anything. And I want to be with you so much it hurts.. But if I agree to being with you, you can never put me through this again. I never want to be with out you again and I never want to feel like this again. If I ever do then I swear I will-" she was cut off by his lips capturing hers, and his arms encircling her.

They stayed like that for a while, lips touching, arms around each other, just enjoying the feeling of being so close to the one they love after such a long time of being apart.

When they finally pulled away they were smiling.

"I promise. I'm never letting you go again. I love you Tenten." he said, eyes locked on hers.

Before she could respond though, the door burst open and everyone came flooding in.

"FINALLY!" Ino shouted, coming to stand beside Tenten.

"You guys took forever." Gaara complained, rubbing his shoulder.

"Yea, I got hungry." Naruto said, pouting.

"You're always hungry." Sasori said from his place beside Deidara.

"You all are always hungry." Sai said, munching on potato chips.

"Says he only one who is actually eating." Obito said, shaking his head.

"Stop being an idiot." Itachi said, holding on to Naruto who was getting ready to tackle Sai for his chips.

"Where the hell did all of you come from?" Sasuke asked, surprised at their sudden entry.

"Oh, we were in the next room listening." Anko said.

"Not cool!" Tenten said, blushing profusely.

"Calm down we didn't actually hear anything, we just figured you guys would have been about done by now."

"Took you long enough, we almost burst in here like a million times."

"You guys are unbelievable." Sasuke said, shaking his head.

"Yea, but you guys made up so it's all good." Naruto said with a big grin, "So its time for food!"

Once again they began piling out the room one after the other, intent on attacking the Uchiha kitchen for dinner.

The siblings were the last to leave the room.

"It seems your plan worked Aniki, thank you." Sasuke said, standing beside Itachi.

"What plan?" Anko asked, looking confused.

"Didn't you guys say you had a plan to get us back together? Wasn't this it?" Sasuke asked, joining in the confusion.

"Oh! That plan."

"Nope, definitely not." Tenten said, giggling.

"The original plan involved rope, ice cream, a chicken, go carts and wet paint, it would not have ended well." Itachi said with a straight face.

Sasuke's face changed from one of confusion to concern. "I question your sanity more and more each day aniki." he said, his face serious.

"Yea well now you have more important things to worry bout than that don't you?"

Itachi said, tilting his head in Tenten's direction before taking Anko and exiting the room.

"I definitely do." Sasuke said, looking at her and smiling. She blushed slightly but smiled with him.

Taking her hand gently in his he lead her out the room, finally able to call her his. FOREVER.

The road ahead was definitely not going to be an easy one, or normal in any way, but with her by his side, he was more than ready for anything.
