Code Geass: The Amendment of Jenna

RECAP:

"People! Fear us, or rally behind us as you see fit! "Zero bellowed.

"We are the Black Knights! We of the Black Knights stand with all those who have no weapons to wield…regardless of whether they are Elevens or Britannians!" I proclaimed, my chest feeling light.

"The Japan Liberation Front cowardly took innocent Britannian civilians hostage, and they mercilessly executed them! It was a wanton and meaningless act; therefore, they have been punished…just as former Viceroy Clovis was punished for ordering the slaughter of countless unarmed Elevens." Zero declared.

"We cannot stand by and allow such cruelty to be carried out, and so we made him pay for his actions. Zero and Eternity will not repudiate battle on a fair and level field, but neither will we tolerate a one-sided massacre of the weak by the strong." I nearly choked, remembering Euphemia's death.

"The only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed! Wherever oppressors abuse their power by attacking those who are powerless, we shall appear again, no matter how mighty or formidable our foe may be! Those of you with power fear us!" Zero swung his left hand out dramatically.

"Those of you without it, rally behind us!" I yell, swinging my right hand and grasping my own little world.

"We, the Black Knights, shall be the ones who stand in judgment of this world!" we declare together, our eyes lighting up as we grinned in our masks.

Harry POV:

"Harry? Wake up."

Someone was shaking my shoulders. I groan and turn my head to the side,"Who is it?" I mumble.

"It's Tania. Now wake up!"

My eyes snap open and I sit up on the bed? "Where am i? I was in Ashford before with Nunnally listening to the commotion at Lake Kawaguchi when…"

"You wished you could come back." A girl with blonde hair sits in front of me.

"A-ahhh!" I scream.

It was Tania. "What? So you mean I'm back in Australia now?"

She nods,"You wished to come back so I granted it."

"So…if Jenna and Lanie want to get out of there, they just have to wish it?" I ask with an incredulous expression across my face. Was it that simple?

"Yes, it's that simple. I asked Jenna for her permission to go in the first place, so it is a must that I have to have her permission to bring her back."

I need to go back there and protect them!

"You cannot go back either, I know you are thinking that. Once you come back, all the memories of the people in that world will be altered and they will be as if you were never there." Tania states, playing with a strand of her hair.

"WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS?" I yell, waving my hands in the air.

"Yea, pretty much. Now if I was you, I would start learning more about the world your precious Jenna is living in for the rest of her life, unless she wishes to come back of course." Tania frowns and leaves me on Jenna's bed to sort out my plan. She's right though, I should learn more about Code Geass and the like. I need to cram all I can in the long weekend before I go back to school. I must, for Jenna and Lanie."

Lanie POV:

"The black knights!" Kallen stood up in the middle of English class.

"Huh?" everyone asked.

Then the whole class erupted in laughter as Kallen looked around the room clueless. I frowned and turned my attention to the sleeping raven haired male in front of me.

When class ended it was just Shirley, Rivalz, Kallen, Lelouch and me. Lelouch was still sleeping however.

"That's not like you dosing off in class like that?" Shirley asked

"well…I uh.."

"you could learn a thing or two from Lelouch. He's an expert at sleeping in class!" Rivalz commented.

"huh? He's not sleeping now, is he?" Kallen asked, looking in the sleeping boy's direction.

" I dunno what he's up to, night after night. but he sleeps through about half of them these days!"

"Oh…" Kallen raised an eyebrow.

I think she's starting to suspect him again. I better tell Jenna later.

Jenna POV:

"come on Suzaku hold him down!" Milly cheered, wearing her cat costume, paws and all.

"dammit suzaku cut it out! Stop it, I'm not kidding!"

Kallen walks in and surveys the room.

"sorry lelouch, but it's the president's orders."

"yeah like you're not enjoying this at all?"

"will you hold still?" Shirley complains while I start unbuttoning Lelouch's top.

"Hmm? Good meowning!" Milly waves a paw to Kallen.

"uh good…morning I guess? What is all this?"

"what do you mean? We didn't tell you? It's our welcome party for Arthur!"

"sounds like fun."

Shirley paints lines on Lelouch's face and I poke his rib.

"H-hey! Watch it!" he blushes.

"Didn't know you were ticklish, Lelou." I giggled.

"well classes are postponed so we might as well have some fun, right?" milly giggled.

"I set some stuff aside for you. Over here. To make up for all my getting upset before. Take your pick!"

"what? For me?"

"I'm wearing one!" I smile at her and point at my white cat suit with fluffy lining around the edges. It also had a matching white tail!

"she doesn't need a costume." Lelouch smirks.

"wha?"

"you're already wearing a mask, right?"

Kallen narrows her eyes before raising one of them,"you really are a riot, you know that. you ought to be on television."

I flex my fingers in my white fluffy gloves and pull Lelouch's school blazer off him, leaving him topless.

"what do you think, miss TV star?" Rivalz turns to Shirley.

"oh I thought she meant Lelouch?" Suzaku asks, confused.

"would you quit joking about that? the whole thing is a huge pain in the butt! We've been hounded with questions day and night! even in the bath!" Shirley whined.

"we haven't been able to leave school grounds in a week!" Milly complained.

"not that I don't feel for you I don't see why we can't leave either?" Rivalz asks.

"hmm that's the price of friendship! The romance of the three kingdoms; it matters not that we were born apart, upon this day we die as one." Milly exclaims.

"is that your idea of a love quote?" Lanie raised her eyebrow.

"if I go down then we all do." Milly shrugs.

"that's a little dark, right Suzaku?" Rivalz laughs weakly.

"I'm glad, that we could all be together again." Suzaku wipes his eyes.

"you know, like this?"

Lelouch smiles softly, knowing the true meaning behind his best friend's words.

Lanie laughs and tackles Suzaku to the ground, Rivalz joining her,"come on! Hey we're supposed to be unwinding in here!"

Everyone laughs,"that's what's so refreshing about Suzaku though!"

"yeah, though once in a while you just want him to get a clue, you know?"

Rivalz pushes suzaku's cheeks together,"no, sorry about that!"

"naww you love it puddy cat~?" Lanie laughs and ruffle the boy's hair.

Nina laughs in her tiger outfit as well as everyone else.

Kallen smiles as she looks at us and meets my gaze. I look away hurriedly, afraid she may be suspicious of me.

3rd POV:

"Hey there pal. Haven't seen you much lately." Rivalz was fixing his bike outside the student council room.

Rreally?" Lelouch asks, his eyes narrowing. Things were only going to get more hectic for him and the black knights. Much like Jenna had prophesied. No wait, she wasn't prophesising! She was just a creepy alien stalker! lelouch blushes, not knowing how much Jenna had impacted his life already, in such a short time.

"Yeah…really…"

Jenna POV:

"I can't believe you teared up. So embarrassing."

"well I can't believe I managed to strip you without you stopping me, darling Lelou~" I wink at the blushing boy before turning my gaze to Suzaku, who was 'playing' with Arthur.

"well it's called honesty!" Suzaku replied.

"well, good thing the black knights were there to save them. That's all I can say."

"if they wanted to catch criminals they could have joined the police force, you know? Why don't they I wonder?"

"are you an imbecile Suzaku? They are Japanese. There's no way they would be allowed to be in the police force. Even if they were, they would be sent to missions where it would be a 98% chance that they would be killed by the perpetrators. And why would someone want to become part of the enemy nation and give up their pride? That's absurd!" I retaliate and lean back on my chair, fanning myself with a magazine with Zero and Eternity's 'faces' on the front cover.

"they probably don't think the cops are up to the job either, and I tend to agree."

Suzaku turns back to face us," the police may not be that affective right now but they could evoke change from within!"

"yeah, and in the process they get all tangled up in red tape and bureaucracy. And by the way Jenna, did you just call them Japanese? You could be sent to jail by the police force."

"if they had done everything in their power to change things, that might hold water. As long as they don't then all of it is self-righteous posturing!"

"self-righteous?" I repeat.

"and what constitutes evil in their eyes? What standards are they using? It's nothing but self-satisfying gratification."

The door opens and Shirley walks in," oh? It's just you three?"

Suzaku stands up, "Anyway, I guess I got to go back to the base pretty soon. See you around Shirley, Jenna."

"Uh…see you later?"

Lelouch frowns.

Shirley puts on a determined face, not fazed by the fact that I'm here.

"So Lelou? I was…um…I was thinking if you had some time, you and i-"

"Back to base. Now that was an interesting choice of words. Go back. Implying that's where he thinks he belongs." He narrows his eyes.

"Quit with the mood, Lelou. We have to go somewhere, right?" I walk past him and snatched the magazine off him.

"See ya Shirley. Lelouch is busy at the moment, but he'll get back to you on the offer some other time, alright?" we leave the room, with me dragging Lelouch all the way to the doors of the Student council room.

"Right. The Tokyo settlement. My payment for you, right?" Lelouch rolls his eyes and puts his hands in his pockets.

"Yeah. A date in exchange for the Kawaguchi incident." I smirk.

"You really get on my nerves, but I have to accept your request. I owe my life to you." We start to walk towards the Tokyo settlement.

"come on Eleven say something!"

"you're sorry. Aren't ya?"

"bowing your heads is what you Elevens do best, right?"

"Eleven…" a certain redhead whispers to herself.

"eating bad food really makes us wanna off somebody, you know?"

Lelouch places his hand on Kallen's shoulder,"Lelouch?"

"No there's five of them. You wouldn't stand a chance at all."

"so you think I should just ignore it?"

"go on, take a good look at that Eleven. If we intervene and help him win, he wouldn't be able to sell a thing tomorrow. It was his choice to become a Britannian slave. That's just the price you pay for working in the settlement."

"well even so-?"

"you got a problem over there? Not feeling sorry for this Eleven are ya?"

"nah they feel the same way we do, don't you guys?"

"not quite." Lelouch smiles.

"Ooh a hottie. Say, what's your name sweetie?" a guy with blonde hair tilts my chin up with his index finger.

"In your dreams asshole." I scowl and punch his stomach.

Then Lelouch activates his geass,"but you're tired of beating up Elevens now, aren't you?"

"yeah, this is boring!"

"you guys wanna hit the arcade?"

"I got no cash."

"well they got bored pretty quick, huh?"

I run up to the Japanese man and touch his shoulder slightly,"hey, are you alright?"

He lifts his head hesitantly,"huh? A Britannian student! What can I get for you? How about a nice California hot dog miss?" Lelouch walks towards us with Kallen trailing behind him, watching the scene.

"uh…is this your boyfriend? I can get him something too! I have ice cream if you like?"

"I wish he was my boyfriend, but alas, the world has cursed me to be lonely my whole life. Say, I'd like to try some of that ice cream you mentioned. Don't worry about the price, the guy who's money I'm using has loads of money stored up for when he becomes an old man." I grin at Lelouch, knowing he couldn't very well react since Kallen didn't know we lived together.

"sure!" the stall holder stands up and I walk behind him to his cart, where he scoops me some mango ice cream in a cone and a chocolate mint for Lelouch. I pay him 20 Britannian pounds instead of the rrp of 10. I patted the guy's head and leaned forward, whispering in his ear,"I've heard that Refrain is all the craze right now. Please don't use it, I beg you. It'll do nothing but worsen your life than the norm. please?" I lean back and ask him with pleading eyes. His eyes widen but he nods,"Yes, thank you miss." I smile and walk back to Lelouch, who was sitting next to Kallen on a bench.

"In some ways, the Area 11 now is much better now than the old Japan ever was. being made a colony of the empire has stabilised its military and economic position in the world. Elevens can even attain full citizenship through the legal process. It's easy to become an honorary Britannian. Just a question of pride, really. Though, I can certainly understand why they'd resist."

"And?"

"hmm?"

"Knowing all that, what does Lelouch Lamperouge think about it all? What do you wanna do?"

I nudge Lelouch with my elbow, making him squirm a little,"Yeah Lelouch. What do you wanna do?"

"Nothing."

"You know you've got a lot of brains but you don't seem to be doing much with them. It's all Shirley talks about, saying how intelligent you are but how you barely apply yourself."

"That's why I don't do anything. That Eleven we say back then can tell you. He could lead a better life as long as he bows his head to Britannia. But of course, that's what Lelouch Lamperouge would say to a full blooded Britannian." Lelouch grins at Kallen.

"You…you know?" she asks.

"Oh he knows everything, Kallen Kozuki." I laugh.

"W-what? What are you guys talking about?!" she asks frantically.

"You may choose to believe me or not, but I am Zero and Jenna is Eternity." Lelouch sighs and runs a hand through his hair.

"WHAT?!" Kallen shouts and stands in front of us.

"We're not kidding, Kallen. I forced Lelouch to tell you the truth so you could help us. We are comrades, after all." I smile softly at the red haired girl.

"S-so then…but how? You were in the bathroom when Zero called me!" she didn't bother to tell us we were wrong.

"I asked someone to send a recorded message, that's why the call ended so abruptly. " Lelouch chided.

"Aww Lelou! You saw Kallen naked before me! How could you?" I whine at the blushing boy.

"I didn't look! I swear!" he closes his eyes instinctively, waiting for a slap from the fiery red head.

"So how do I know you won't ditch the Black Knights when things get tough, huh? What are your motives for becoming Zero and Eternity?" Kallen asks, calming down.

"This isn't the place to talk about it. Why don't we go over to my place?" Lelouch suggests.

"You mean our place Lelou~" I sing.

"Stop saying things like that already!" he yells.

I laugh and we walk back to Ashford.

"Oh? You're back home Lelouch? Is that Jenna with you? Lanie just left to go off somewhere, she said she had to search for something." Nunnally wheeled to the front of the suite.

"Yes, and I've brought along a friend. You remember Kallen, right Nunna?" Lelouch smiles and pushes Nunnally back to the living room where Sayoko was.

"Yes! It's very nice to meet you again Kallen."

"You too, Nunnally." Kallen gave a genuine smile.

"I have to discuss something important with Jenna and Kallen so try not to disturb us, okay? Ask Sayoko for anything." Lelouch pats Nunnally's head and she giggles,"Okay Big Brother."

We walk to Lelouch's room where C.2 was sitting on his bed eating some Pizza.

"Oh? I didn't know you were going to have a threesome with these two. Good choice though, Lelouch. They are very fiiine." C.2 purrs and lays across the bed.

Lelouch blushes,"Don't mind her, she's another…accomplice." Lelouch growls and sits on his chair, swivelling around as we sat on the edge of the bed.

"so, our motives. Jenna doesn't really have a motive as such. She just wants peace." I smile as Lelouch explains my role.

"However Lelouch is different. You see, my real name isn't Lelouch. Now before I proceed, may I have that pocket knife that's in your skirt pocket Kallen?" Lelouch holds out his hand expectantly.

Kallen contemplates for a bit to herself, before giving in and placing the little pink pouch in the palm of his hand.

"Okay, then who are you?" Kallen asks.

"Just like you, I have taken my mother's last name, replacing my father's. my real name that I was born with, however, is Lelouch Vi Briitannia."

"Vi Britannia? That means you're a prince?!" Kallen asks, ready to attack Lelouch.

"Indeed. However a certain incident 8 years ago has made me hate that name. you see, when I was 9 my mother, Empress Marianne Vi Britannia, was murdered. I approached the Emperor to question why he cut the case off after a week, and he banished me and Nunnally to Japan. Nunnally was also there when Mother died, and was crippled due to the gun shots and was blinded due to shock. So I gave up my claim to the throne and left the palace. When we were banished to Japan, we stayed at the house of the Kururugi's. it was then that I had made my first ever friend apart for family; Suzaku. When the war was ended, we were forced to separate, and he went to the military while I sought for a place to stay for Nunnally, more so than myself. We met the Ashfords who were affiliated and supported by my mother, and so they took us in. Milly has known my secret since we've stayed here. My heritage is most of the part of why I am also Zero. The other part is my sister."

"Go on…" I encouraged him when he stopped talking.

"My sister wants a peaceful world, without any fighting and where everyone can get along. I suppose most of us wish for that and that is why I have made it my purpose to do at least this for her. I also made a promise to her, that the world would become a gentler place when she can open her eyes. Jenna has a theory as to how this can be done in the next year or so, but for that I must become an enemy of the empire."

Lelouch allowed Kallen to take some time to soak all the information he had just told her.

"So…you hate the royal family enough to kill your own brother, is that right? But how did you manage to call the cease fire?" Kallen asked.

Now this was the tricky bit. I had contemplated whether or not to tell her about geass.

"So you told her all the unimportant things and now you're stuck if you should be able to trust her or not, right Lelouch?" C.2 licked her pizza flavoured fingers.

"Shut it witch, I don't need your feedback." Lelouch growled.

"You're keeping another secret from me. But it's alright, if I were you I wouldn't have told me that I was an exiled prince and what my real ambitions are. I trust you enough to follow you, Lelouch. You have gained my trust and respect because you told me all this. I am grateful." Kallen smiled and stood up, walking towards Lelouch.

"W-what?" he asked as she wrapped her arms around him, holding him close in her embrace,"we both hate our home country, don't we. And together we'll make that peaceful world for everyone, including your sister, right Lelouch. I hope I can earn your trust so that I may know the other secret, but I am happy that I'm the first apart from Eternity to know your identity as Zero. Many of us have wondered who you were and I would have laughed if someone told me it was my lazy classmate. So thank you…just knowing all this makes me realise we have a lot in common then."

"Hands off the jewel, Kallen. And since his mouth is squashed between your bosom, I'll take what you said into consideration and I am happy to have an ally I can trust like you." I smirk.

"P-pervert!" Kallen smacks Lelouch on the cheek before walking to the door. Before she leaves the room, she turns back and smiles,"I'll keep your secret safe, as you have done with mine."

Hey guys! Chapter 10 is up!

Please review guys, I know a lot of people read this story and yet they don't send their thoughts to me!

I am writing ahead, since exam week is coming in 4 weeks, so I won't be able to write during that time, but I will be able to upload. By then, I'm hoping to have advanced to chapter 16 or 17. I'm already up to chapter 13, which has got to be the most epic chapter I've ever written. Actually thinking about it, 13 is an unlucky number, and a lot of unlucky things happen for some, and the opposite for others.

3rd POV:

"Believe in Zero and Eternity. I just know we'll defeat Britannia with them on our side." Kallen hid her smile as she slipped her hands into her Black Knight's jacket over her old resistance uniform.

Lanie's POV:

I knock on the door and hear muffled voices from behind the door. Was someone with him? That is odd…

Suzaku opens the door and his eyes widen as his eyes lock with mine,"Hey Suzaku."

"Oh..um…hello Lanie…" Suzaku says, biting his lip.

I raise an eyebrow,"Who's with you?" I try to peer inside.

"Suzaku! Your oven is burning!" a feminine voice calls out.

Jenna's POV:

I calm down and ask,"How has the baking been?"

"Well, it was alright, but my oven keeps burning and she keeps screaming."

Oh god, kill me now. I slap my palm over my mouth so I wouldn't laugh out loud.

"Um…what were you baking?"

"Cream puffs."

shit. SHIT. I'm currently bawling in tears, laughing like a maniac.

He smiles,"I see. Call Suzaku and tell him she may come over, alone."

I grin,"Ooh, what's bad boy Lelouch up to now~?"

He rolls his eyes and wipes his hair with a white towel,"Just do it."

"Do it?" I reply, still grinning.

Lelouch smirks and snaps the file closed, "Excellent. Euphy, I need you to be my inside person from now on."

I pout,"Aww what about me~?"

Lelouch glares at me,"You never mentioned this operation to me."

And that's it for now. Chapter 11 should be out next fortnight, I think. Depends which day I can upload on the week after next. But fear not, it will be posted before November. It will probably be one of the last chapters I can update before exam week starts. Heh, my exams start on the 13th. Karma sure got me back.
