You guys are pretty awesome. Yeah! Go you!
Okay, so I'm gonna try and finish all my stories quickly, but this one should take the longest.
Like, it won't be done till ch16 or somethin.
I dunno.
ONWARDS, MEN!
To say he didn't feel good was an understatement.
One of the biggest understatements ever.
An over-understatment.
A better word to explain it was raw. Not in a fresh and new raw, but see it as if he were a lump of beat dead pig insides that were frozen, then baked (to the point of sogginess) and beat again.
And another one was submissive. All that kept him on was the bravado that had been forced into his system since Two Face all those years ago. He was proud to say he hasn't screamed. Not once in the past three weeks (Three weeks on couldn't be sure.)
He has, cried through.
Surprising, for the Boy Wonder to have broken down and cried, but as far he knew, Bruce realized he could get a better partner or some other crisis has kept him occupied. He probably just left.
Seconds after the first tears would fall, he would slam his head into the closest surface, possible concussion or not, he needed to get it into his skull that he would be okay, because Bruce wouldn't give up on him that easily. Plus, the Team was probably looking for him. Not only the, probably more than half of the Justice League in their spare time. He wasn't stupid. He knew that Bruce would never give up within five years. That made him smile.
But, he was stupid enough to voice his thoughts with Elliot in one of their daily meetings.
Thomas had just asked is the usual question, with the usual format around it.
"All you need to do is agree to join me. Make it official virtually. Come on, Dickie." Hush tempted. Dick scowled at the pet name, then smirked.
"I hope that your aware that even if I virtually consent my alliance with you, they won't stop trying to save me. As long as I'm alive, it won't work." Dick said confidently. Hush leaned back in his chair, thinking.
"Huh, as long as you're alive, right?" He asked, rubbing at his chin. Dick's smile faltered. "So, if you were to, you know, die, they would stop looking, right?"
"And what makes you think that I'll agree to this either, Elliot?" Dick questioned hotly. This was getting edgy.
"You never had to agree, Dickie." He said, and the next thing Dick knew he had a tranquilizer in his neck.
It had been a month with nothing. The places were empty minus the occasional rat. Wally tried to cheer up the team, but there was so much to do when he had to cover the other half to his two person show, while simultaneously trying to not look worried. It was challenging,
Currently, they were watching TV. Not Superboy's channel, but normal TV. It was boring, but no one really cared. They were still fully costumed, just coming back from a mission that failed miserably, due to the lack of the lack of cameras, which Kid was very easily caught by.
They sat, not caring that much now because by now they would've been scolded by their youngest for being stupid, and not be stormed off by or laughed at.
In the midst of their feelings, the screen fuzzed, revealing a bandaged face in a trench coat. They all stood, Kaldur calling for Batman.
"Hush!" Artemis spat out, glaring at the screen.
"Yes, young Artemis, it's me. Am I to assume that Batman is here?: He questioned.
"Yes." A deep voice growled, which Wally surprisingly didn't even wince at him.
"Where's Robin?" He questioned hotly. Hush tapped his chin.
"Well, that's the question of the day, isn't it. I would like to say that he's the same boy you left, as well as that he is safe, but neither seem to be true." He said, swivelling to camera away from him.
"Robin!" Wally shouted. The boy in question was chained by his wrists and on his knees, gagged, with his short torn and covered in blood stains. He looked unconscious, but his face was so bruised you couldn't tell.
Batman walked infront of the TV screen, growling as he saw what his son was like now.
"Thomas, why did you do this?" Batman questioned. There was a laugh.
"Because, Batman, I want you to feel the pain of when I had to watch you get all the money, all your family's fortune, but this time, you'll watch your son die." Hush spat. Batman looked at his wrist computer, trying to track down the signal.
"There's no point in that, he'll be dead by the time you get in you Batmobile." He hissed, flicking out a knife and walking over to Robin. He woke with a start, yanking at the chains and kicking feebly. He glared at the man before he turned to the camera. Somehow, he worked the gag off.
"Batman, he's not-" He was interrupted by a smack to the side of his face. Hush raised the knife up and stabbed him right under his collar bone. Then one to his side, twisting the knife. Roin screamed, done with holding it in.
Batman finally located his area and went to the Batmobile, not even bothering to get the team's help. He zeta'd the the warehouse and broke down the door.
Dick laid there, a pool of blood already collecting around his body. The camera turned off when he came in, not that it mattered to him. He walked right next to him and put two fingers to his neck. No pulse.
He broke the chains with his hands and tried doing compressions. Nothing.
Batman held his son's mangled hand, and bowed his head.
His little bird had fallen.
Welp, that's it for this chapter. I'll have to do a time skip, how far should I do it. Any characters that I should add? Reveiw!
