"I—I don't know what to do..." Zola paced in the rubble and I watched silent, a part of me pitied him. He had been forced into this just as much as I had, so I stepped forward.
"An end game. Make it seem like we have nothing left but...to leave you out in the open." Zola froze at this idea, his eyes looking at me through his thick glasses spectacles.
"What?" His voice quivered in both fear and shock.
"Well if we offer them you they are bound to show up..."
"Yes and if they capture me?" An unfeeling part of me wanted to recommend he bring a cyanide capsule, but then I smiled.
"I could go with you, and we could have a large amount of firepower."
"Y—You? Herr Schmidt would never let you do something like this." I shook my head and shrugged.
"If Schmidt gets his end game...We were just pawns in it." Zola deflated at that full well knowing what I did that the Valkyrie was finished in the Alps and Schmidt needed only a diversion in order to get there. Zola and I would be the perfect one. "I...I will speak with him." He left then and I was alone. I looked over the ruins of the factory silently over joyed that the Captain and his men had worked so tirelessly on destroying Schmidt's work. HYDRA soldiers combed the area no other survivors were found thank God. Zola returned Schmidt followed him, his eyes full of distrust so he must be coming to hear my plan.
"Dr. Zola tells me you have an idea my Siren."
Klara I want to snap but I resist and nod instead, he stands silent for a moment assessing whether or not he will listen and believe or just brush it off.
"So what is it?"
"A diversion Herr Schmidt, Zola and I versus the Captain and his 'Howling Commandos' as they've taken to calling themselves." He is silent his thoughts lost in calculation before he can speak again though I interrupt.
"Just think whilst they are busy tracking us you can reach the Valkyrie and begin the final phase." His eyes glinted at this, an evil there that I knew I never wished to witness again.
"Yes...But how could you and Zola take on the Captain?" I held back a wince and quickly a thought formed.
"Would the Captain be so low as to attack a woman? Much less a scientist, we are important we lead him to us use the new equipment Zola has just finished with and good bye Captain." Schmidt let out a deep chuckle and walked over. Cupping my face in his hands tilting my face up so that I could only stare up at him.
"This is it, you have chosen well my Siren." He pressed a quick kiss on my lips before releasing me. His attentions turned to Zola who he began an adamant conversation with, I watched silent as stone. Knowing full well Schmidt was sending us to die.

Preparations were made quickly a train commandeered and fake commands and radio signals sent out making it seem as though Zola and I had something very important with us traveling to assist Schmidt. They would believe it easily most of

the chatter captured let us know very quickly that the Captain and his men were on the move. I stood on the platform only a knapsack and canteen with me. After all I wasn't expecting much from this besides being killed.
"Everything is in order Herr Schmidt."

"Good is everything in place?" Zola nodded and boarded the train. I watched silent my heart stuttering behind my ribs my hands ached and twitched. But another part of me soared at this, I was going to be free. Finally free after eleven years of this monster. I could have cried. Schmidt's hand grasped my shoulder turning me to face him. He watched me silent for a time as the train whistled signaling the departure.
"I have to go Herr Sch—"
"Johann." I blinked confused for a moment then I gave a small smile, it didn't reach my eyes.

"Of course H—Johann." He shot forward capturing my lips I didn't flinch back I didn't move at all just closed my eyes and willed it to be over soon. He pulled back finally stroking a hand along my curls.
"We will reign supreme once this is over with."
. B and running my own hand along his cheek.

Of course." I turned then as the engine steamed, ready to depart I stepped up onto the stairs leaning out I watched as we pulled away from the platform. The wind tangling through my hair as it picked up speed and Schmidt disappeared in the fog. I let out a soft sigh, now we wait. Slipping inside the train car I settled down by a small window, the train car jostled though it was a much smoother ride than any train I had ever ridden on before. I could still hear the wheels running over the tracks. I looked out the window for a time just watching the snowy landscape pass by ever tranquil and I almost forgot why I was there. Hours passed by and all I really did was watch the scenery losing myself for the first time in a long time. I didn't have to worry about Schmidt finding me I didn't have to pretend I could just be quiet and not have my thoughts racing to keep up to make sure I survived another day. The train jolted suddenly and the door between the main engine and my car opened a soldier stepped out.

"Ms. Siren you need to get into this car and bar the door behind you." I nodded slipping up though a small part of my raged and wished to knock him out. But I slipped past him and he shut the door behind me. I found Zola up by the controls watching a screen; curious I approached silent as I watched what I realized was the Captain and one of his—the soldier. The two came in together creeping through the storage car, the Captain moving ahead of his comrade and it sealed their fates as the door slid shut. Both rush to the doors but are quickly diverted by the guards who swoop in upon them like vultures to a rotting carcass. Bullets fired from guns, our newest weapon hums as it charges. The Captain is quick firing a few shots at the guard but the man has been used in some of Zola's experiments he doesn't even flinch as the bullets ricochet off of his armor. Zola is terrified grabbing the microphone.

"Stop him! Fire again!" The Captain has ducked down behind some weapon boxes, the guard obeys firing off more rounds after all unlike the Captain he has

infinite energy. I glance over at the other screen the feed showing his comrade fighting back two guards both who have regular issued guns, he holds his own well taking shots and not missing, aiming as if he knows exactly where they will appear. I glance back to the Captain's video as Zola lets out a noise of terror. The Captain has knocked out the guard somehow and freeing him up to go assist his friend. This secretly delights me, but I am terrified as well they will kill me without a doubt. Zola and I watch on in mute amazement as the Captain is drawn away from the big guns to his friend who is obviously out of ammunition. But while they are focused on one, the other has regained his wits and has gotten up. The guard has lumber to the door taken by surprise the Captain lifts up his shield I think this is the end my plan worked...But am shocked as the blue energy rebounds off the metal slamming into the train car's side ripping open the wall.

"Fire again! Kill him now!" Zola shouts into the microphone dearly wishing that the fight could be over. The Captain has lost his shield and had been thrown to the other side, his friend has grabbed ahold of the shield. I freeze something akin to worry grips my heart as I watch. When the blast hits the soldier is not as lucky as the blast sends him flying out the open hole where a drop of over two hundred feet awaits him. I gasp leaning forward attempting to see if the soldier has survived...One throw of his shield sends the behemoth to the ground for good this time and then he is rushing to the hole grasping onto the morphed metal slipping out further.
"He's alive?" I whisper almost hopeful but my attention is taken as glass shatters above us. Zola lets out a whimper of dismay and I turn inhaling quickly the soldier is fast though his gun strikes out colliding with my temple. My vision swims as I collapse I am still conscious though and try to sing again only the blow is even harder the butt of the gun smashing into my cheek. I let out a cry of pain head hitting the cold metal floor darkness takes me in its hold then and keeps me there.
