A/N: Hey guys, I am SO sorry for not updating for so long! I just moved and there is still so much to do and yeah… Anyway here's the chapter!
Disclaimer: I don't own Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
"Natsu, it's time to get up." Tsuna said softly as he shook her gently.
Natsu stirred and cracked open her eyes sleepily. "Tsuna...?"
Tsuna smiled a little and nodded. "Yes it's me baby. Look, you have to wake up. It's almost dawn and I can't stay here without being discovered for long."
Hearing this, Natsu instantly sat up, alarm clear in her features. "Wait... You're going to leave?"
Tsuna nodded slowly, "Yes. I have to lay low for now. If I reveal myself too early it will cause chaos. I'm sorry..."
Natsu looked down at her hands, her bangs shadowing her face. "No it's okay, everyone thinks you're... D-dead. So I understand. But..."
He stared at her, his eyes taking in every detail of her face and body language. "But what?"
Natsu bit her lip, "I'm just worried that something will happen and you'll leave me again."
Tsuna's eyes widened in understanding. He touched her hand gently, conveying his love for her in a simple touch. "Don't worry my love, I'm not going to leave you anytime soon. But this is necessary for now."
Natsu looked at him and nodded, her lips shaped into a slight smile. "Okay I won't worry... Much."
Tsuna smiled in amusement and gazed into her eyes. "Natsu... I need you to close your eyes. Can you do that for me?"
Natsu's face transformed to exude confusion, but she closed her eyes nonetheless. She listened as Tsuna spoke softly into her ear. After a few more seconds, silence met her and she slowly reopened her eyes.
She was met with an empty room.
Tsuna ran silently back towards his hotel, a frown decorating his face. He hadn't wanted to do that, but it was necessary. He wanted to leave with absolutely no detection. Of course, nevertheless, he had left without a second thought.
Does it make me a bad person that I left her like that? Maybe I should go back...
Tsuna shook his head, it wasn't a good idea to go back to the mansion. Who knew what would happen if he did. He would just have to be satisfied with the limited time that he spent with his lover. He would be able to be with her and the rest of his family in due time. In the mean time, he had some errands to run.
"Natsu, are you okay? You have been awfully quiet." inquired Hayato, concerned.
Natsu looked at him in slight surprise, "Hm? Oh it's nothing. I'm just thinking is all." she said, flashing him a quick smile.
Hayato nodded hesitantly, worry dominant in his features. "Okay... Just remember that I'm here if you ever need to talk."
Natsu smiled gratefully at her companion. "I know. I really appreciate the work you do around here, Hayato."
Hayato smiled slightly, "Anything for you Natsu. Anyway I have to go, there is a mission I must be on. Call me if you need anything."
Natsu nodded, bidding him goodbye, but before he stepped through the door, Natsu said, "Be safe."
Hayato nodded and left. The door shutting quietly behind him.
Natsu stared at the door contemplating for a second, before spinning her chair so that she was facing the window. She gazed lazily out, witnessing how beautiful the sky looked today. She closed her eyes in thought as the words that Tsuna uttered earlier ran through her mind.
"It's going to be okay."
A/N: Well I'm finally done with this chapter! I hope you all enjoyed it, sorry it was so short though...
