Rated a strong T or M by some standards, but there's nothing like, graphic or anything. Just adult themes (take into account the fact that I'm not technically old enough to even be reading T rated stories, so… that). Also, I didn't really edit it so… hey if any of you guys want to be an editor I wouldn't mind that. Wink.
The "Crush":
Fred stared out across the city of San Fransokyo, a small smile gracing his lips. He was on the roof where he usually hung out when he needed some alone time, and the only person that also knew that was Gogo. She was actually the reason he was up there – she had been acting a little strange lately (though, not many people noticed), and Fred had asked her to meet her up here on the roof. He just wanted to check in on her and make sure that everything was alright.
They had all been hurting since Tadashi died, but Gogo was the one that worried Fred the most. He didn't know if she would be able to take care of herself if she let the event get to her. He didn't know if she would cope very well.
When he felt someone sit next to him, he closed his eyes and leaned back onto the warm concrete that was the roof. The heat burned him a little bit through his shirt, but that didn't bother him. He heard Gogo lay down next to him and sigh.
"I miss him," her voice was nearly silent but Fred heard it loud and clear. Fred nodded, knowing the pain that she was going through.
"We all do," he whispered, turning his head and opening his eyes to face her. She was already looking at him.
They stared at each other for a few short seconds before Gogo closed that distance, climbing on top of him and kissing him roughly. Fred gasped in surprise, letting Gogo's strong but short tongue dart into his mouth and explore.
After a few minutes of this, Fred pushed Gogo away and looked her in the eyes. She was crying, he noted, taking a deep breath. Sure, he had considered dating Gogo before, but not like this. Right now she needed a friend, not someone to have sex with and then in the end be more hurt than she was in the beginning.
"Gogo, get off of me," Fred said sternly. She sighed and rolled off of him, letting Fred sit up. "We both know that that's not what you want."
"How would you know?" She spat. Fred stared at her in her eyes, knowing that she didn't really mean the hurtful tone.
"I miss him, too, you know," he said nonchalantly. "I have nightmares every night about what I could have done and how I should have changed things and what I wish to have said before he left. The other day I walked by his lab and asked the air if it could build me a robotic arm. I even still buy two sodas during lunch."
Gogo sighed, knowing that she would have to talk about her feelings. She was allowed to make it as sarcastic as she wanted to, though. "I miss someone to freak out with my speed. I mean, yeah, Wasabi is cool and everything, but he always freaks out. Tadashi would only freak out sometimes, which made it fun. I don't miss the cat dandruff that he brought into the work area," she chuckled, sniffling a little bit.
She wasn't going to cry, but she had to admit to herself that she felt emotions at the moment.
The two lapsed into a comfortably sad silence, mourning the loss of one of their closest friends. After a long moment, Fred broke the seriousness with a sarcastic comment (despite the fact that he had tears in his eyes).
"Slut," he giggled.
"Asshole," Gogo pushed him on the shoulder. They were going to be okay.
A/N: Almost a continuation of The Motor Chair, except not. Next chapter will be Finals. Oh, so scary.
