I'm gonna get some Siku POV in this chapter, since Huayra got knocked the f**k out XD. So sit back, brew a cup of coffee/tea, take a sip, stretch a bit, put on your reading glasses if needed, and read the chapter. Oh and enjoy it!

Siku POV

I saw Huayra get hit by the deer's hooves. I instantly ran towards him as the deer fell over and bleed out from the wound Huayra inflicted. I then started to yell "Huayra...Huayra...are you okay!" As I got closer I stopped yelling because I saw Huayra's head was oozing out blood.

Once I arrived at his motionless body I out my head on his chest to listen for a heartbeat. The beat was there, but it was light and very slow. I felt tears sting my eyes. I didn't know what to do or how to help him. I looked over at the deer with a bit of anger and trotted over to it. I then tore a piece of skin off and used the side with fur to clean off Huayra's gash on his head.

Once that was done I started to lick the wound. This would work, so that his wound wouldn't get infected. I also then noticed we were out in an opening, and we would make an easy pickings for any predator. I first moved Huayra, since he was easier to move then the deer. I dragged him as carefully as I could to a big spruce tree. After I had him moved and positioned, I went over to the deer. I bit down on its leg and pulled. It wouldn't budge. So then I moved to the other side and pushed. This resulted in a slight success, it moved about two paws length.

I repeated the pushing, until I got tired. Which was only halfway to where I wanted it to end up. I decided to wait and hope that Huayra would wake up soon. Then we could both move the deer, and maybe be eat some of it to make it lighter, but as of now I wasn't the slightest bit hungry.

I walked over to Huayra's motionless form and laid down right next to him. I put my head on his chest again to listen for his heartbeat. Now the beat was a little more noticeable, but still slow. I also noticed how soft his fur was. I'm not saying not all fur is soft, but his was different. It was like silky soft, and plush.

I then heard a twig snap. My ears perked up and started twitching, looking for any sound that could possible be made. I slowly made my way to my feet. I poked my head around the tree, and saw an arctic fox , at the deer. I said "Hey, you back away from that deer. You didn't kill it." The fox looked back at me. She replied "Make me bitch."

That set me off, so I approached her growling and teeth bared. The fox backed away from the deer and then started to side step, to line straight up with me. I knew the fox would be alone since they aren't pack animals, but so was I and I am a pack animal. Which raised the question did this fox have something to her advantage. Because foxes aren't usually ones to want to pick fights, especially with wolves.

When the fox got closer, I could see it foaming from the mouth, and I thought oh no...rabies. Now it was me backing up. The fox started to grin and asked "What, you scared wolfy?"I didn't reply, and the next thing I know the fox pinned me. I had my paw on her chest, but couldn't manage to get her off. She chomped at the air, waiting for me to lose strength, when she could chomp away at me.

My arm was starting to shake due to the strain. The foxes mouth was getting closer by the second. I screamed and yelled, but nothing would phase the fox. Right when the fox was an inch away from biting me, something threw her off. I looked up to see Huayra. But that was for only a second because a second later he was attacking the fox.

Huayra POV

I suddenly heard screaming and yelling real close to me and I sprung right up. I then saw Siku being attacked by a white with grey splotched arctic fox. I sprinted at them and rammed into the fox. Then ran to the place where the fox landed, and wrapped my teeth around its neck and bit down hard. Ending its life instantly.

Siku walked up next to me and said "Oh Huayra you had me so worried, at one point I thought you were gonna die. I don't know what I would have done if you did." A few tears dripped from her eyes, and I licked them away replying "Siku I don't really remember too mush of what happened, but I'm sorry if I worried you. But now everything is okay, you nearly scared me half to death with those screams and yells." I then gave her a slight smile, and she returned it.

Siku looked over to the dead deer and asked "Are you hungry?" I looked at the deer as well and replied "You know what? I am pretty hungry. How about you?" She smiled and said "Beat you there." I chuckled as Siku sprinted to it, while I followed. She beat me there and immediately began eating like she was starved. I then said "Siku why haven't you eaten? The deer has been there for a while...right?" She looked up from eating and said "Well...yeah its been here, but I was so worried sick about you dying, I...I just couldn't eat."

I nuzzled her as a thank you for caring for me. And then dug into the deer as well. It tasted so good, and when me and Siku were both done eating, there was still of meat still left on the deer. I laid down and began to lick my fur around my paws clean, as did Siku. When Siku finished, before me, she said "Well now I think it will be easier to carry back to our cave." I looked up from just finishing my cleaning and said "Yeah, sounds like a plan to me."

I let Siku carry the head side, since having the deer's rear facing her might disturb her a bit, since the balls of the deer were dangling. We managed to get the deer to the cave in good time, only stopping for a rest every so often. Once we had it put on the floor in the cave, I looked at her and said "I'm kinda thirsty...how about you?" She replied "Yeah I could definitely go for some water."

We both headed out of the cave together, and ran to the river. I jumped in and drank, while she drank from the shore. I finished before her, which led me to pull her in by her leg. She let out a quick yelp and a small splash as she fell in. I started to laugh, but when she came up I quickly stopped. She then lunged at me, knocking me into the water. We kept playing around in the water, until we both got tired.

When we were both ashore, we laid down facing the river. I was about to say something, when Siku was as well "Siku I..." "Huayra I..." "No you go" "No that's alright...mine wasn't important." I look at her and say "Well I just wanted to say, that I have enjoyed your company and wondered if you wanted to go for a walk tonight." She replied "Yeah...I'd love to go for a walk tonight, it's not like we do much around here anyways." I nod my head and say "Cool I think maybe over on the beach, just outside of Nome would be nice." Siku smiles and says "Sounds perfect."

The sun starts to set, as we head over to the beach. It looks beautiful out, making the walk all the much better. I noticed how now me and Siku walked a lot closer, then we did before. Indicating that we were getting more familiar and comfortable with one another. I do have to admit she is really cute and has a great sense of humor most of the time. Her giggles, were the ones that made you smile. But it seemed like the both of us couldn't get any closer than friends, even if I would like to be.

Siku turned her head and looked at me. She then said "Back to what I though wasn't important earlier...I think...I...well like you...not like a love like, but more of a better than just regular friends kind of like...sorry it came out weird." She then looked down. I then said "No, no it came out fine I understand perfectly...I would enjoy that as well." We continued our walk with a lot of small talk, I think we both felt a little awkward with the new status of our friendship.

I wanted to get this chapter out before the business for me started, so here you go...a little longer as well, since I might not post much else for a while. Hope you guys enjoyed the chapter...and would enjoy to see your feedback.
