They went to the village and all the villagers were happy to see the young priestess well and alive. Kagome was brought in a crush hug from Sango as she was very worried for her sister-like. When she was release Kagome introduce Itachi to her and Miroku. Though Miroku nearly got his hand cut off by Itchai when he tried to grope Kagome butt. Luckily what saved him were Kagome and Sango slapping the monk in the fae. Then Inuyasha appeared with Kikyo by his side. From the look in his eyes he was still under her spell.

"So you're back I see." Kikyo glared

"And who is he." Inuyasha glared at Itachi.

"This is my mate, Itachi Uchiha." Kagome said

"Mate? What do you mean mate?" Inuyasha glared "You belong to me!"

"Inuyasha, don't be selfish, you already chosen Kikyo." Miroku said

The half breed didn't listen as his eyes turned red. Itachi saw the attack coming and was able to get his mate out of the way. Once his mate was safe he activated his Sharingan and attack. Kagome had told him about the half breed and how he broke her heart many times and how he tried to kill her. Inuyasha could barely keep up with Itachi in his human form. Then once Inuyasha looked into the ninja's eyes he was caught in a Genjutsu and that's when Itachi took our Kunai sliced off the half breeds head.

Seeing that her tool was dead Kikyo notched her bow and arrow and aimed it at Kagome. When she released the arrow Itachi saw it happen and quickly caught it. Then with his fast skills he threw the kunai at the woman. It hit her straight into her heart. She gasped from the pain and body started to crack a little as part of Kagome's soul flew out of her and connected back into Kagome. Once it was gone Kikyo turned into nothing but clay dust.

Kagome smiled a little as she finally felt complete but was a little upset about Inuyasha's death. She knew it wasn't his fault as Kikyo had him under a spell but he brought it upon himself for choosing her. She was about to walk away from his body till she heard Tessaiga pulsing.

"It would seem that Tessaiga has chosen you as its' new master." Sesshomaru stated

To see if he was right she picked up the sword from the ground and was relief that it didn't burn her hand because of her demon side. She then unsheathed it and it reviled its' true form in front of her.

"Yes, it seems so." She smiled "We should get going. We need to be ready. Who knows when my father is gonna start his attack."

How right she was. Since Madara has Sasuke and his team on his side he has them doing his work. He has them going after the eight tail beast now to prove their loyalty. With Naruto and the others they head back to the Leaf Village. They informed Tsunade of Kagome's disappearing but she informed them of the note that the priestess had send her; explaining that she needed to see her old master. Then she told them the news of Jiraiya's death. Naruto took it the hardest since the old pervert sage was his master. After a few days of grieving everyone were trying to figure the code message that Jiraiya had left them about Pain before he died. When they did they took it to show Lord Fukasaku and Lady Tsunade it. Sadly neither one knew what it meant and that they needed time figure it out.

As usual Naruto didn't want to be patients and wanted to avenge Jiraiya's death. This got Lord Fukasaku attention and asked Naruto to come with him to Mount Myoboku to train him Sage Jutsu to get him stronger in order to defeat Pain. Of course Naruto accepted as he knew that he needed to get stronger.

After a few days Kagome, Itachi, and Naruto have gotten stronger from their masters. With the help of Lord Fukasaku Naruto has been able to prefect his sage mode. While under Sesshomaru's guidance and training both Kagome and Itachi were able to control their demonic forms and their powers. At the end of the week Kagome was in her mediation stance when she sensed the attack on the Leaf Village and the lives that have been taken.

"You sensed it too." Itachi said as poof in the room. "Pain has made his move."

"Under my fathers' orders it seems. We better go." She said as she strapped Tessaiga to her side.

Itachi placed on a magical mask to hide his appearance as he knew he still wouldn't be welcome in the village. They had agreed that once this was over they were going to clear his name. Danzo and the Elders were going to pay for what they did. Once they were ready they were about to head to well till they spotted the gang.

"You're not going without us this time." Sango said

"Besides, from the sound of it you might need some extra help." Miruko said

Kagome looked at Itachi; wondering they should. He seemed to agree as he knew what Pain was capable of. They were gonna need all the help they could get.

Just as Pain release the Summoning of the Almighty Push upon the Village his eyes widen to see it still standing. It was long till he saw the barrier that was protecting it. He wasn't the only that surprise it seems as Tsunade and the other villagers stun by it. Landing on top of the Hokage Mountain was Kagome and Itachi by her side, Sango, Miruko who were riding Kilala and Sesshomaru.

"Looks like we've arrived just in time." Kagome said

"Madara's daughter is here it seem." Pain said as he landed and looked at the Priestess.

"All right, Sango and Miruko go take care of the wounded and take them to safety. Itachi and Sesshomaru come with me." Kagome orders

The three headed off to where the three smokes appeared in the forest side of the village. When the smoke clear she saw Naruto on top of three large summoning toads.

"Naruto." Kagome called

"Kagome. You're back!" Naruto smiled "When did you get back?"

"Just a few minutes before you. I was able to place a barrier around the before Pain could destroy it." Kagome explained

Naruto noticed the other two behind her.

"Who are they?" He asked

"Allies. The long white hair one with the serious look on his face is my Master, Lord Sesshomaru." Kagome smiled

"That's the Dog Demon General?" Naruto asked in shocked

"Now is not the time for introduction Miko. The enemy is approaching with back up." Sesshomaru stated

Six more people appeared and landed in front of the head Pain. One of them headed straight for Lady Tsunade and Naruto quickly saved her with his Rasengan. Lady Tsunade was shocked by his help she was seeing both The Forth Hokage and Jiraiya in him.

"This ends now!" Naruto glared

"Don't worry Lady Tsunade we'll take care of them for you. You and the others just get everyone to safety and healed." Kagome said

"Gamakichi! Get Granny Tsunade to safety!" Naruto ordered

"Roger!" Gamakichi said

"All right. But you two take Katsuyu with you. She'll come in handy. She has intel…" Tsunade said

Lord Fukasaku grabbed the slug and placed her on Naruto shoulder. With nothing else said Gamakichi carried the Hokage away.

"Kagome." Naruto said

"Hmm…" Kagome said

"You're able sense the auras of everyone in the village right?" He asked

Kagome nodded.

"I've mastered nature energy, so I'm able to sense everyone's charka but I can't sense Master Kakashi." Naruto said "Can you? Do you know if he's on a mission?"

Kagome looked down with sad eyes as she knew the truth. She can no longer sense him on this plain.

"No. I'm sorry Naruto." She said

"Okay." He said looking down. He looked up at his enemy now in sage mode. "Let's end this."

"Right." Kagome smirked as she activated her Sharingan.
